Also spekulativ.

      Development programme block 12

Frontera has constructed a clear two-year development plan for Block 12 which will
      target the following objectives:

      • Increase production from 225bopd to over 3,300bopd by Q3 2012
      • 1st year monthly revenue streams to reach $9m+
      • Increase production in year two to c.5,000bopd
      • 2nd year monthly revenue streams to reach $15m+

In addition, Frontera's aim is to pursue farm-outs and strategic partnerships at its
Basin Edge Play as well as other assets within its portfolio.

The overall cost for the two-year development programme will be in the region of
$118m, which will be financed through production cash flows and, if necessary,
the SEDA drawdown facility that the company has in place.

In the second year, Frontera's aim is to achieve monthly revenues of $15m (a 67%
increase on the first year) as it increases production above 5,000bopd. This event
may prove to be transformational for the company, and indeed its share price, as it
will establish that the company can successfully produce commercial volumes of
oil on a relatively large scale.

As production ramps up to its peak in Q3 2013, Frontera could potentially be supplying
38% of the total annual oil consumption of Georgia measured at today’s consumption levels in the country.Georgia’s intention to increase energy security and divert its
reliance away from Russian imports should ensure that demand for Frontera’s
resources will remain in the country for the long term.

The Basin Edge Play (BEP) is one of the most recent and potentially prolific exploration plays in the Kura Basin. It is situated in the northern border of Block 12 and due to its
size, Frontera has identified two giant prospects: the “B Prospect” and the “C Prospect”.
2D and 3D seismic data acquired by Frontera indicate that the gross unrisked potential
recoverable resources in the Basin Edge "B" Prospect and the Basin Edge "C" Prospect could be in excess of 1bn barrels of oil from both the deeper Cretaceous intervals and
the shallower Tertiary section; this estimation is also supported by Frontera’s latest CPR.
The BEP is a cretaceous carbonate play and organic carbon has been found to be as
high as 11% at the field. Frontera's geologists have identified additional plays in the
deeper Mesozoic,Jurassic and Cretaceous intervals where the reservoirs are principally believed to be fractured carbonates. These rock types are known to be prolific reservoirs
in other areas in the world, and production from fractured carbonate rocks is typically characterised by high flow rates.

Frontera’s 2D and 3D seismic work has resulted in Frontera being able to image its prospects and establish the basis for economically attractive exploration drilling.
Cretaceous targets were explored by CanArgo Energy to the east of Frontera’s BEP
in 2003, but at much deeper depths to to what Frontera intends to drill. The company
found that carbonate reservoirs appeared to be fractured in sections previously thought
to be too deep as a drilling objective, with CanArgo's well encountering significant
volumes of oil and gas. Frontera has identified the same Cretaceous interval as being prospective throughout the Cretaceous carbonate play in the northern portion of
Block 12, but at shallower depths and in a less complex geologic setting. This serves
to further de-risk BEP’s potential, and recoverable resources obtained from both
prospects may lead to a re-rating for Frontera when these resources are booked
      to reserves.

      Shale gas potential :

Frontera underwent an extensive internal study of Block 12 last year which resulted
in the identification of significant liquids and gas associated with the Maykop shales encompassing approximately 2,000km2 where potentially significant quantities of
natural gas and liquids could be exploited from the field. The company believes the
geology is similar to that of the extensive and well-document

Ich denke das wird was, nur was macht der Winter?

It will be nearly 1 month since the company announced that it was re-entering wells M#1 and M#5 to perforate other zones and to collect new data so it could better design future Mirzaani wells. I suspect they should be able to get M#5 in to production fairly quickly once the water plug is installed. What will the other zones deliver, who knows. But initial flow rates from M5 was over 400 barrels per day before the pressure declined and water seeped in. At the moment the stock market has given no value to these wells and to be fair, you cant blame them as the wells have delivered 'jack' since they were drilled some 2 years ago. Anyway, fingers crossed that these wells can deliver and boost our daily production rate. My gut feeling it will.but how many time have i been wrong in the past with this company? All the time!... But these wells are successful, there should be a triple whammy positive effect: 1) increase the value of Mizraani field, 2) allow resources to be transferred to reserves and 3) cashflows... The s/p remains at ridiculously low levels and I think we will have news before the month end...

Einige Explorer sind in Georgia warum wohl?

Recent New Gas Discovery in Georgia Continues to Deliver Results
      FRONTERA RESOURCES CORPORATION

      (“Frontera” or the “Company”)

      Houston, Texas, U.S.A. – 26 October 2011

Frontera Resources Corporation (London Stock Exchange, AIM Market: FRR), the oil and gas exploration and production company with assets in the country of Georgia, today announces an update of operations related to the recent discovery of extensive gas resources in the undeveloped northwestern portion of the Mtsare Khevi Field within its Shallow Fields Production Unit, Block 12.

Testing operations associated with approximately 33 meters of gas bearing net pay have continued at the Mtsare Khevi #32 well that was drilled to a depth of approximately 370 meters in the undeveloped northwestern portion of the field. Ongoing testing of Zone I, a 14 meter section of the lowest portion of the identified pay zones, has indicated that gas deliverability from this horizon is potentially larger than recently assessed. Based on results obtained from analysis of pressure drawdown/buildup testing of the well that was conducted subsequently to the Company’s announcement of 11 October 2011, reservoir modeling simulations of this new down-hole pressure data indicate that Zone I can potentially flow gas at a rate of approximately 57,000 cubic meters per day (approximately 2 million cubic feet per day), more than twice the original estimate that was based on observed flowing pressures.

Operations are now focused on testing a 9.5 meter section associated with Zone II where gas has been flow tested at a rate of approximately 2,200 cubic meters of gas per day (79 mcf per day) on a 6 mm choke and 4,900 cubic meters (173 mcf per day) on a 9 mm choke. Based on these tests, it is estimated that the absolute open flow (AOF) rate for Zone II is approximately 15,000 cubic meters per day (530 mcf/d). Over the next week, testing operations will continue on Zone II and subsequently progress up hole to Zone III in order to determine total gas deliverability from the well.

As previously announced, Frontera believes that the successful results of the #32 well may have expanded the Mtsare Khevi field’s gas potential by as much as 5 times the previously identified recoverable gas estimates. Situated less than 10 km from the national gas distribution pipeline grid, the new discovery will serve to accelerate the addition of new infrastructure to commence gas sales. Construction engineering plans are currently under review in order to determine the most efficient timeline for installation.

Steve C. Nicandros, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, commented:

“Ongoing testing operations at the #32 well continue to confirm the importance of our most recent achievement at the Mtsare Khevi field within our greater portfolio of assets. Based on analysis of the results observed to date, we are excited by what this well continues to reveal about the ultimate gas potential of the field and the overall surrounding area.”

aus dem iii-board von Gestern 17.33. Outrider hat wohl ca. 8% der Aktien gekauft. (KKR?) Sanieren und verheiraten, mal sehen.

      gra1969,
that was revealing, and looks like they are a bunch of bargain hunters base on what they wrote on their website:
      "About Outrider

Outrider invests in distressed companies in the emerging markets. We employ a value-oriented strategy seeking to identify securities trading at low levels relative to their value based on cash flow generation or underlying assets. We search for catalysts to realize that value, normally through a restructuring of the firm's obligations or a strategic transaction. Outrider has significant experience with the peculiarities of the emerging markets and weighs macroeconomic and political factors in making its investments. We try to capitalize on the systemic dislocations which often occur in developing financial markets to obtain the best entry points for our positions. Outrider seeks consensual restructurings where possible, but pursues active litigation and bankruptcy processes where necessary to obtain fair recoveries for our investors."

Penny punters favourite Frontera Resources (FRR) has issued a bullish trading update in which it states it is well on track to deliver gas sales in the second quarter of 2012.

Founded in 1997, the oil and gas explorer is focused on Georgia where it is channelling its efforts on the highly prolific and underdeveloped Kura Basin. It has P3 reserves of 174 million barrels of oil but the potential resource is in excess of 2 billion barrels.

Following a fund raising last year, the intention is to increase its current production of 220 bopd to nearer 3,000 bopd in 12 months and 5,000 bopd in two years, which would generate monthly revenue of $15 million. The AIM counter intends to operate a self funding portfolio but is also on the lookout for strategic partners - particularly for its Shale Gas and Basin Edge Play Units.

Within its 100 per cent owned Mtsare Khevi field it has drilled 20 new wells to date, with all encountering oil and gas reservoirs. But more recently it completed three wells to total depths of 400 meters, all are currently being evaluated but the intention is to continue to produce oil and gas reservoirs. Frontera will also drill a further five new wells in the next year.

Frontera plans to install a gas sales infrastructure and has completed the engineering design work, which will involve building a 8km pipeline connecting its shut-in gas reserves to a local sales point (sales will be invoiced in US dollars). To help finance its activities Frontera has agreed a loan deal for up to $3.1 million with investment fund Yorkville.

Shares in Frontera are extremely well traded, but are down 8 per cent to 1.27p today on profit taking following a recent rally from 1.2p. They are speculative but could reward investors with a risk appetite.

International gas and oil company Frontera Resources Corporation (USA) specializing in cooperation with countries of emerging markets, is interested in the development of hydrocarbon sources in Ukraine, the company reports at the London Stock Exchange.

In March 2012, Frontera Resources signed a memorandum with the state geological service of Ukraine, which gives the company the opportunity to choose the sources for gas and oil extraction.

Currently, Frontera Resources is working on the source “Block-12” on the shelf of the Black Sea in Georgia. The first half year of this project resulted in a loss of money for Frontera Resources.

Previously, global oil and gas company Shell had confirmed the intentions to build coal gasification plants in Ukraine, whereupon Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Konstantin Grishenko stated that Ukraine will not need to import gas until 2013, newspaper

      Korrespondent reports.

Meanwhile, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych announced more than once that Ukraine is considering cooperation with the company Chevron on issues regarding the diversification of the energy sector in Ukraine.

We have been saying for a long time how important it is to link the gas wells to for the extra monthly cashflows but to me it will also allow the transfer of the huge gas resources to proven and probably reserves for just the MK complex. Now i'm no valuer of gas but the extra 780bn cubic feet of gas as P1 & P2 reserves has to be worth at least $60m (this is very roughly comparing it to VOG's market comparison which has a similar reserves). At the moment the Stock Market is pricing FRR on just its daily production of 220bpd.

Anyway hope the Georgian Govt dont play games with FRR in terms of granting the gas transport permits because i would not be surprised if this management team has also rubbed them the wrong way. So where we have waited this long - i guess we can wait another month or so....?

Throughout Q1 and Q2 of 2012, the extent of the Mtsare Khevi Field’s gas potential was evaluated. This work focused on continued testing and analysis of results from new and historical drilling results and incorporating these results into assessment of a greater gas exploitation area. In support of this, a new effort was initiated and completed to locate and analyze approximately 40 Soviet era wells throughout an expanded area related to the Mtsare Khevi Field, many of which encountered gas.

The result was an expansion of the area that is now considered prospective for gas exploitation and exploration. Whereas efforts to date have been focused on an area of approximately 15 square kilometres in the southwest portion of the Mtstare Khevi Field area, an ongoing study to the northwest of this area has revealed a larger play of approximately 80 square kilometres that is now referred to as the Mtsare Khevi Gas Complex and encompasses zones found between 300 meters and 5,000 meters in depth. Based on Frontera’s internal estimates, analysis has revealed significant gas potential throughout this area of as much as approximately 1.2 tcf of gas in place (28 billion cubic meters) and approximately 700 bcf of recoverable gas (19.8 billion cubic meters).

Since January, testing has successfully confirmed and expanded the area for gas reserves with all new wells drilled and completed to total depths of approximately 400 meters. An eight kilometer gas line was designed for transportation of Mtsare Khevi gas production from the field to a nearby sales point. Pictured below is the Thermoflex flexible pipe at the Mtsare Khevi Field that is awaiting installation.

About 6 kilometers of high density polyethylene pipe, seen below on site at the Mtsare Khevi Field, will be used to gather gas from wells within the field.

A gas compressor, pictured below, will be installed to increase the pressure of the Mtsare Khevi Field gas at a central gathering point from within the field and send it to the sales point via the 8 kilometer Thermoflex line. Below left, the compressor control panel. Below right, the compressor heads and natural gas engine.

Moscow. June 20. INTERFAX.RU - Oil and gas company Frontera Resources (USA) on your license block in Georgia during field development CARM Heavy (Sagarejo district, Kakheti region, eastern Georgia) discovered natural gas reserves in the amount of 42 billion cubic meters.

"It was established that in this field there are gas reserves in the amount of 42 billion cubic meters, which creates prerequisites for the future of Georgia's energy independence," - said the president of Frontera Resources Steve Nikandros journalists on Friday at a ceremony beginning of deliveries from the field of natural gas in the total gas network of the country.

      Update on Ud-2 well

Frontera Resources Corporation (AIM: FRR), the European focused oil and gas exploration and production company, is pleased to announce that workover operation of the Ud-2 well has been successfully completed as planned. Further to the announcement of 21 September 2017, the bridge plug has been set at 3326m, pressure test performed and, as previously announced, the Company will now commence extended testing of three target gas bearing intervals of Oligocene-aged, Lower Miocene-aged and Middle Miocene-aged reservoirs, located between 2620m - 3320m.

The service company, which has been contracted to perforate gas bearing intervals of Ud-2 well, will now mobilise on site.

The final technical design of the 18km gas pipeline connecting the Ud-2 well with Mtsare Khevi gas processing facility (which is connected to Georgia's natural gas distribution grid) is being completed and the pipeline right of way is being secured.

Zaza Mamulaishvili, President and Chief Executive Officer, commented:

"It is a very important milestone to complete workover operation of the Ud-2 well in time and within budget. We are very excited that this successful operation made three gas-bearing intervals available for proper testing. The Middle Miocene-aged Gareji reservoir is a very well known, prolific oil and gas-bearing formation in the area, the Oligocene and Lower Miocene-aged Maykop reservoir is a world class rock source for a number of large oil and gas fields situated within the Black Sea and Caspian Sea areas, one of which is the giant Shah Deniz gas field offshore Caspian.

"Successful testing of the Ud-2 well, situated inside the 950 km2 Mtsare Khevi Gas Complex, will help prove the tremendous gas potential of Block 12 in Georgia. According to Netherland Sewell & Associates' estimates, the area contains 8.3 Trillion Cubic Feet of Gas in Place of which 5.8 Trillion Cubic Feet is considered recoverable.

"I look forward to keeping shareholders updated on our progress."
