Ist die Firma im Besitz vor Ressources die eine Marktkapitalisierung von mehr als 5mio gerechtfertigen?
Bzw...ist sie unterbwertet?

Dieser bisher noch unenteckte, und ungepushte Gold, und Kupfer Explorer, schreit geradezu danach gekauft zu werden!!

Der Preis ein richtiges Schnäppchen im Vergleich zu vielen anderen bei Wbeworbenen Titeln aus diesem Segment.

VenCan Gold ist auch keine Firma die erst gerade kürzlich entstanden ist, sondern existiert, und exploriert bereits seit vielen Jahren. Kürzlich hat sich Vencan Gold die Finanzierung für ein neues Drillprogram gesichert, und die Bohrarbeiten haben bereits begonnen. Falls wie vom Management erwartet, mit Erfolg gebohrt werden kann, dürfte die Zeit der Schnäppchenpreis schnell der Vergangenheit angehöhren.

Mann kann jetzt billig kaufen, oder man kann die Bohrergebnisse erst abwarten, und falls diese erfolgreich sind, danach teurer kaufen!

Man kann aber auch gar nicht kaufen, ganz nach belieben, der Brieftasche, dem Zeithorizont, oder der Risikobereitschaft eines Anlegers.

Im Zuge des gerade stattfindenden Gold Booms scheint jetzt endlich wieder Leben in den Kurs der VencanGold zurückgekehrt zu sein, die Umsätze beginnen wieder zu steigen, und es werden meiner Ansicht nach, nun ganz klar Aktien dieses chancenreichen Explorers eingesammelt, und akkumuliert.

Der Chart könnte ebenso fast nicht mehr vielversprechender aussehen.

Bin am Freitag eingestiegen und nach gründlicher Recherche ebenfalls sehr überzeugt, dass wir hier sehr schnell weitaus
höhere Kurse sehen werden!! ..übrigens wie bei MURGOR.. ebenfalls schon mit 60 % im Plus in 6 Wochen!

Das u. a. entscheidende für mich ist, dass es ein Management gibt,
welches langjährige Erfahrungen besitzt. Ferner dürften die
jüngst eingebrachten erfolgreichen Finanzierungsrunden in sehr
kurzen Zeitabständen ein klares Signal geben... aber sicher nur
für den, der hier zwischen den Zeilen lesen mag und auch für den,
der die Geduld für 300 - 400 Prozent in 1-2 Jahren hat!

Vencan besitzt jetzt bei ihrer mini MK von 5 Mio., bereits neben zwei riesigen Projekten, einer neu gefüllten Explorationskasse, einem 25% Anteil am Edwards Gold Property, 500'000 Aktien, und 300'000.- Cash von PATRICIA MINES CORP (PAT.V) durch einen "Buy-In" Vertrag mit PAT.V.

Innerhalb max. 30 Monaten werden nochmals bis zu 1.5 Mio. PAT Aktien für den 25% Anteil, und die 2% Net Smelter Gebühr bei VanCan in die Kasse rollen. PAT exploriert gerade intensiv auf den bisher immer noch Vencan Gold gehörenden Claims. Zur Ablösung der 3% Netsmelter Gebühr müsste PAT nochmals 1.5 Mio. bezahlen.
Der Kurs von PAT bricht zur Zeit nach oben aus, und betrug am freitag 1.20 US$ pro Aktie. Mann muss nur ein bisschen rechnen! Ich schätze mal sehr konservativ, dass der Kurs einer PAT Aktie in 2 Jahren mit mindestens 2.50 bis 4.- US$ zu Buche schlagen wird.

...ich bin da ja ziemlich unentschlossen - Evens muß ich Recht geben wenn er meint warum sie jetzt losgehen soll - Nachrichten wurden regelmäßig veröffentlicht und Programm für 2006 ist auch ambitioniert - den Kurs hat es mäßig beeindruckt, abgesehen vom Stockhouse-Forum wo ja fast bedrückte Stimmung herrscht.
Allerdings hat SilberEagle einen guten Riecher wie wir ja schon gesehen haben.
Aber die Entscheidung werde ich mit mir ausmachen müssen.

Das Volumen zieht heute bereits mächtig an: 300.000 shares und
noch 3 1/4 Handelstunden.. schätze mal, dass wir heute an die 500.000 handeln werden!

Bei einer Marktkapitalisierung von 5 Mio dürfte der Kurs nach unten
hin wirklich relativ gut "gesichert" sein. Ich beobachte den Wert schon seit ca. 5 Wochen und sehe halt hier eine große chance sehr früh dabei zu sein!!

Benötige mal Eure Hilfe. Ich habe bereits mehrfach in Toronto diverse Aktien gekauft, hat bisher immer super funktioniert.
Jetzt möchte ich mir auch einige Vencan ins Depot legen, jedoch bekomme ich immer die Meldung, dass diese nicht in Toronto gehandelt werden.
Scheinbar stehe ich irgendwo auf der Leitung...
Welche ISIN ist das ? Oder ist Toronto wirklich falsch ?

OK... die 500.000 shares heute nicht ganz geschafft.. aber
immerhin über 400.000 shares... und geschlossen auf Tageshöchstkurs!!! und dies alles, obwohl die Aktie am vergangenen Freitag um 30 % gestiegen war!!
Also der Zug rollt an und ich freue mich auf herrliche Aussichten!!

Du kannst jemanden wirklich erschrecken

Ist doch gar nichts passiert. Da hat jemand 18000 Aktien gekauft, das es unbedingt haben wollte. Ich sehe leider nicht ob dieser Jemand alle 18000, was 2880 Euros entsprechen würde, alle zu diesem Preis gekauft hat, oder nur ganz wenige um den Preis hochzuziehen.

Auf lange Sicht gesehen hat der Besitzer wohl keinen schlechten Deal gemacht, doch kurzfristig einen "hunzmiserablen". Vor allem aber hat er zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt dem Kurs der Vancan Gold in Deutschland mehr geschadet als genützt.

Vencan Closes First Tranche of $800,000 in Financing; Airborne Survey Commences

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - May 12, 2006) - Vencan Gold Corporation (TSX:VCG - News; the "Corporation") -


EXPLORATION PROGRAM - SPRING/SUMMER 2006

Kirk McKinnon, the President & Chief Executive Officer of Vencan is pleased to announce that the Spring/Summer 2006 exploration program has begun. The program will consist of an airborne survey followed by selected ground geophysical, geochemical & geological surveys to assist in identifying drill targets and 2,000 meters of drilling which is expected to begin in mid June.

In conjunction with GeoVector Management, the company's consulting geologists, an airborne geophysical survey contract, totalling at least 1,345 line kilometres, was awarded to Aeroquest Limited who began the survey on May 7, 2006. The airborne survey, which will cover all of the company's properties, will take approximately 5-7 days to complete with a preliminary report to be delivered within 2 weeks of completion of the survey.

The report will be reviewed and analyzed by GeoVector personnel who will then identify target areas, which require further ground follow up and subsequently select areas for drill testing. Contracts for awarding ground geophysical work and drilling are in the process of being reviewed and should be awarded shortly.

FINANCING

Richard Schler, the Vice-President & Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation, is pleased to announce that Vencan Gold Corporation. (the "Corporation") has closed aggregate gross proceeds of $800,000 by way of a brokered private placement. The private placement consisted of 6,000,000 "flow-through common shares" of the Corporation (the "F/T Common Shares") at a price of $0.10 per F/T Common Share and 2,000,000 units (which are non-flow-through) of the Corporation (the "Units") at a price of $0.10 per Unit. Each Unit consisted of one common share of the Corporation and one-half of one common share purchase warrant (the "Unit Warrants"). Each whole Unit Warrant will entitle the holder thereof to acquire one common share of the Corporation at a price of $0.12 for a period of 24 months from the date of issuance.

In connection with the financing the Corporation paid Dundee Securities Corporation ("Dundee") a cash fee equal to $17,500 and issued 385,000 common shares of the Corporation to Dundee. Dundee also received broker warrants exercisable to acquire 560,000 common shares of the Corporation at a price of $0.10 per common share until May 4, 2008.

The Corporation intends to use the gross proceeds from the sale of the F/T Common Shares primarily for exploration programs on its projects located in the Timmins/Gogama Region of Ontario and the proceeds from the sale of the Units for working capital and general corporate purposes. Completion of the financings remains subject to regulatory approval.

The securities issued under the financings will be subject to a four-month resale restriction in Canada.

ADMINISTRATION

The Board granted the issuance of 1,080,000 stock options to Directors, Officers and Consultants of the Corporation under the terms of an Incentive Stock Option Plan approved by shareholders at the last AGM held on January 18, 2006. The options are exercisable at $0.13 "per share" for a period of 4 years.

Vencan Gold Commences 2000 Metre Diamond Drill Program on Its Cayenne East Property, Completes AeroTEM Airborne Survey with Results Indicating New VMS Target Opportunities
Thursday June 15, 1:02 pm ET

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - June 15, 2006) - Kirk McKinnon, President and CEO of Vencan Gold Corporation (VenCan) (TSX VENTURE:VCG - News) is pleased to announce that a 2000 meter diamond drilling program has commenced on its Cayenne East Property located 100 kilometers southwest of Timmins. The primary focus of the drilling program will be VMS style mineralization in the area of the Jefferson Zn-Pb deposit and the Burton Shaft Zn-Pb-Au occurrence.

- The Jefferson VMS deposit is located on ground optioned from Falconbridge Ltd. This deposit contains an historical (1948) non NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate of 30,100 tons at 7.05% Zn and 4.58% Pb. The historical work defined massive sulphides enriched in zinc and lead over a strike length of 150 meters and to a vertical depth of 30 metres.

- Completion of 1345 line kilometers of a AeroTEM helicopter-borne EM/Magnetometer geophysical survey on 80 metre line spacing by Aeroquest Limited. Interpretation of the data is now underway with initial results indicating new target areas in geologically favorable environments for VMS style mineralization.

- A line cutting crew is currently establishing grids over areas prioritized by the airborne geophysical survey.

- Ground geophysical crews will mobilize to the property later in June to complete IP/resistivity, magnetometer and gravity surveys.

Summer 2006 Drilling Program

The primary focus of the 2000 metre drilling program will be VMS style mineralization in the area of the Jefferson Zn-Pb deposit. Historical work defined a massive sulphide body enriched in zinc and lead over a strike length of 150 meters and to a vertical depth of 30 metres, containing a resource estimate of 30,100 tons at 7.05% Zn and 4.58% Pb. Deeper drilling to a vertical depth of 85 metres in 1950 indicated continuity of the zinc-lead enriched sulphide body. Some of the better drill intersections documented by the historical work on the Jefferson VMS deposit included 4.43% Zn and 1.25% Pb over 22.9 meters and 9.1% Zn and 11.5% Pb over 6.9 meters.

Drilling will also be completed near the Burton Shaft Zn-Pb-Au occurrence. A single drill hole by Hollinger in 1929 intersected 7.5% Zn, 1.5%Pb and 7.5 g/t Au over 4.8 meters.

In addition, a historical drill intersection of 11.98% Zn over 3.2 meters located approximately 2.0 km to the west of the Jefferson Deposit will be drill tested during the current program.

2006 Summer Exploration Program

A total of 1345 line kilometers of AeroTEM helicopter-borne EM/Magnetometer survey on 80 metre line spacing was recently completed by Aeroquest Limited. Interpretation of the data is now underway with initial results indicating new target areas in geologically favorable environments for VMS style mineralization.

Follow-up work has commenced with grids currently being established over areas prioritized by the airborne survey. Ground geophysical crews will mobilize to the property later in June to complete IP/resistivity, magnetometer and gravity surveys. In addition, geological mapping and geochemical surveys will be completed in conjunction with the ground geophysical surveys.

It is expected that these surveys will enhance the known targets and define additional targets that will be tested in subsequent drilling programs. A project management team has moved on to the property to supervise the drilling program as well as the grid based geophysical and geological surveys.

The above values for drill hole intersections and mineral resources were taken from a review of the historical data by GeoVector Management Inc.

Endlich endlich,es geht los mit unserem Baby...


Da steht das eine geomagnetische Luftprüfung des Gebietes abgeschlossen wurde und in Kürze ausgewertet sind. Danach werden potentielle Zielmarken zwecks Infill-Probebohrungen ausgewählt.
Zeitgleich beginnen die Leute bereits mit einigen lokalisierten Probebohrungen.
Gegen Ende Juni wird dann auch am Boden intensiv die Gesteinsschichten untersucht.

Glaube so in etwa haut das hin...

Beginnen wir mal mit dem Property Cayenne/Chili:

Laut Aussagen auf der Homepage von Vencan
http://www.vencan.com/home.htm
ist das Gebiet teilweise von einer sogenannten "iron formation" gekennzeichnet. Diese Gebiete sind historisch betrachtet meist sehr mineralhaltig, so daß sie auch hier einiges erhoffen lassen.

Jedoch sind meiner Ansicht nach die Bohrarbeiten,inklusive eines möglichen späteren Abbaus von z.B. Gold etc.,dadurch erschwert und folglich kostenintensiver.

Wie seht ihr das???

Vencan Closes Second Tranche of $1,164,400 in Financing; Signs Option Agreement with Patricia Mining








TORONTO, ONTARIO-- OPTION AGREEMENT WITH PATRICIA MINING CORP.

Kirk McKinnon, the President & Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation is pleased to announce that further to the Company's press release dated April 5, 2006, the Corporation has signed an Option Agreement dated June 14, 2006 with Patricia Mining Corp. (Patricia), which was approved by the TSX Venture Exchange on June 21, 2006.

The agreement gives Patricia the right to acquire a 75% interest in the Corporations Edwards gold property adjoining Patricia's Island Gold Project and 100% of the Corporations 3% NSR it holds on the past producing Edwards Mine currently owned by Strike Minerals Inc.

The Edwards property consists of 39 staked and 4-patented mining claims in Jacobson Township covering an area of approximately 1,720 acres. The claims are to the east and contiguous with Patricia's Island Gold Project.

Patricia has earned a 75% interest in the property from Vencan by making a cash payment of $30,000 and issuing 500,000 common shares in accordance with the agreement. Patricia has the option to acquire Vencan's remaining 25% interest for the first 30 months after the agreement date by issuing 1,000,000 common shares and at any time after 30 months by issuing 1,500,000 common shares to Vencan. FINANCING

CAYENNE-CHILI, CAYENNE EAST AIRBORNE SURVEY COMPLETED

The 1,345 line kilometer helicopter-borne AeroTEM geophysical survey over the Cayenne-Chili and adjacent Cayenne East Properties, located 100 km south-west of Timmins was completed in May 2006. The Corporation is encouraged with the number of new targets both for gold and volcanogenic massive sulphides (VMS); particularly those identified on previously unexplored areas of the property.

AeroQuest's AeroTEM system is a helicopter-borne magnetic and time-domain electromagnetic system with a narrowly focused footprint. Along with high resolution, the system provides highly diagnostic information for detected anomalies.

The survey, flown at 80m line intervals, was successful in highlighting shear hosted lode- gold exploration targets and VMS exploration targets on the Properties, including previously undefined east-west structures through the Gagne Target (see press release dated March 6, 2006), and conductors spatially associated with the Jefferson Zn-Pb deposit and Burton Shaft Zn-Pb-Au occurrences. Significant conductors detected along and across strike of the Jefferson and Burton mineralization, together with several others along strike throughout the Properties have been prioritized for ground follow-up during this field season. Early field follow-up of an AeroTEM anomaly trend located approximately 2,200m west of the Jefferson deposit has been found in outcrop to be a sulphide zone associated with visible zinc mineralization.

Roman Tykajlo, GeoVector Management's geophysicist stated that the geophysical coverage has greatly enhanced the targeting for VMS and gold deposits at Cayenne-Chili and Cayenne East and will help guide ongoing diamond drilling, geological mapping, ground geophysics, prospecting and soil sampling.

MASSIVE SULPHIDES INTERSECTED IN A NUMBER OF HOLES

Vencan's drill program on the Cayenne East property is progressing well with 10 of the 12 planned holes in the vicinity of the Jefferson Showing now completed. Masssive sulphides have been noted in a number of the holes. A large area along strike of the Jefferson Showing has been subjected to ground geophysical surveys, geological mapping and soil sampling. A number of the higher priority airborne geophysical targets have been ground checked and mineralized samples are being sent for assay.

The program is under the direct supervision of Taiga Consultants. All sampled drill core is shipped to Swastika Labs for assaying.

Hallo Funkenpuster,

ich bin kein Profi-Geologe, aber versuch mich in einer verständlichen Antwort.

Bei VMS-Deposits (=Volcanogenic massive sulfide ore deposit) handelt es sich um Vulkanogene Massivsulfid-Lagerstätten von Eisen und/oder Buntmetallen.

Generell lassen sich mehrere Arten der Lagerstätten von Rohstoffkörpern nach ihrer räumlichen Ausdehnung unterscheiden:

1. Plattenförmig (große Ausdehnung in Länge/Breite mit geringer Dicke), z.B. Kohle-Flöze und Gänge
2. Gleichmäßig verteilt in Poren von Hohlräumen (häufig bei Erdöl / Erdgas)
3. Schlauchförmig, z.B. durch vulkanische Schlote/Eruptionen entstanden, die die Minerale/Erze in den Röhren nach oben befördern, daher liegt hier meist eine große vertikale Ansammlung vor. Treffen die Gesteinsflüssigkeiten bei ihrem Aufstieg auf Gesteinsschichten, die eine poröse Struktur aufweisen und/oder mit der mineralisierten Flüssigkeit reagieren, können sich waagerechte Verzerrungen, sogenannte MANTOS, ergeben (s. z.B. bei Excellon).

Bei den VMS-Lagerstätten handelt es sich um das Ergebnis eines vulkanogenen (=V) Vorgangs mit der Bildung von Massivsulfid (=MS)-Lagerstätten.
D.h. in unterirdischen Magmakammern steigen durch hydrothermale Prozesse (Verbindung von Wasser und Hitze) Gesteinsflüssigkeiten in einer Röhre/Schlot unterirdisch bis z.T. an die Oberfläche auf. Durch die verschiedenen Abkühlungsstufen und Ablagerungen der mineralisierten Flüssigkeit bilden sich dann sich verfestigende Mineralschichten die in den diversen Stadien durch chemische Prozesse Verbindungen eingehen (z.B. bei Kontakt mit Wasser scheiden sich gelöste Sulfide aus der Mineralflüssigkeit ab und bilden Pyrit).
Im weiteren Verlauf der VMS-Bildung kann dann die Magma-Flüssigkeit durch Verbindung mit anderen Gesteinsschichten und durch weitere chemische und physische Prozesse zur mineralisierten Gesteinsstruktur werden.
Im Fall einer VMS werden am häufigsten die Metalle Kupfer, Zink, Blei, Gold und Silber in den Vorkommen entdeckt.
Diese reichen durch die Entstehungsstruktur (in Röhren/Schloten) teilweise bis an die Erdoberfläche / in geringe Tiefen (=einfacher Abbau).
Erfolgreiche Bohrungen führen häufig auch bei geringeren Metallgehalten durch die große (meist vertikale, aber auch mögliche horizontale) Ausdehnung zu großen Vorkommen (z.B. Eskay Creek).
Jüngstes Beispiel einer hoch-sulfidierten, epithermischen Lagerstätte (ähnlich VMS) ist Fruta Del Norte von Aurelian
(man beachte hier die großen Längen der mineralisierten Zonen).

Daher sind VMS-Vorkommen generell sehr gut, wenn man dann mit entsprechenden Bohrungen in der Lage ist, die mineralisierten Zonen zu finden und deren Verlauf zu lokalisieren.

Also lassen wir uns mal bei VenCan von den Bohrergebnissen (positiv) überraschen.

Vencan's Drill Program Hits Significant Zinc Mineralization and Highlights its 2006 Spring Exploration Program










TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 1, 2006) - Vencan Gold Corporation (TSX VENTURE:VCG) (the "Corporation") - Kirk McKinnon President & CEO of Vencan Gold Corporation is pleased to announce that the Company's diamond drilling program has outlined a number of significant zinc - lead intersections in its recently completed program.

The program consisted of seventeen holes totaling 2,425 meters. The holes were drilled as a follow up to the Company's 2005 fall drill/exploration program, which defined a number of high priority targets on the Cayenne East Property, located 100 kilometers south west of Timmins. All mineralized samples were split and have been sent for assay. Results are expected in the next 2-3 weeks.

The Jefferson Deposit occurs within a strongly sulphidized chert-magnetite iron formation in contact with felsic fragmentals. The work completed by Vencan in 2005 consisted of a compilation of historic data, a review of historic drill holes and sampling of existing trenches. This work resulted in a re-interpretation of the area geology and structure which suggested there should be very good potential for expanding the Jefferson Pb-Zn deposit along strike.

The target selection was enhanced and augmented by the recently completed AeroQuest Aero TEM airborne geophysical survey (See July 27th Press Release).

Highlights of 2006 Exploration:

- Completion of AeroQuest's Aero TEM helicopter borne geophysical survey over 1,345 line kilometers. The survey was conducted at 80 meter intervals and was successful in highlighting both shear hosted lode-gold exploration targets and VMS exploration targets.

- Completion of a 2,425 meter diamond drill program in 17 holes.

- Completion of 54 line kilometers of newly established grid over the 'Genoa Grid'. This grid was then geologically mapped and surveyed with ground magnetometer in its entirety. IP/resistivity surveying was also completed over selected lines. Gravity surveying over the entire grid is ongoing.

- Rock grab sampling (101 samples) and channel sampling (49 samples) over prospective areas of the newly established 'Genoa Grid'.

- Soil sampling (over 500 samples) over prospective areas on the newly established 'Genoa Grid'.

- Completion of helicopter supported prospecting over 14 anomalous areas identified by the AeroTEM survey completed over Vencan's land position earlier in the year. This included collecting grab samples (31 samples) over prospective mineralized zones.

Vencan's exploration program was managed by Taiga Consultants and Craig Scherba is the qualified person responsible for the technical information presented in this release.

ADMINISTRATION

The Corporation has entered into a Fiscal Agency Agreement with K2 Performance Corp. who will provide financial consulting services. The agreement covers a six (6) month period from August 1, 2006 to January 31, 2007 with an option to extend the contract for an additional six (6) months. The agreement can be terminated by either party with 30 days written notice and includes performance criteria.

As compensation for their services, K2 Performance will be issued up to 450,000 share purchase warrants for the six month period, which are exercisable at $0.13 per share for a period of 24 months from date of issuance. Each share purchase warrant entitles the holder to purchase one common share of the Corporation.

The transaction is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval and all securities issued with respect to this matter are subject to a four-month resale restriction in Canada.

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 1, 2006) - Vencan Gold Corporation (TSX VENTURE:VCG) (the "Corporation") - Kirk McKinnon President & CEO of Vencan Gold Corporation is pleased to announce that the Company's diamond drilling program has outlined a number of significant zinc - lead intersections in its recently completed program.

The program consisted of seventeen holes totaling 2,425 meters. The holes were drilled as a follow up to the Company's 2005 fall drill/exploration program, which defined a number of high priority targets on the Cayenne East Property, located 100 kilometers south west of Timmins. All mineralized samples were split and have been sent for assay. Results are expected in the next 2-3 weeks.

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 11, 2006) - Kirk McKinnon, President and CEO of Vencan Gold Corporation (TSX VENTURE:VCG - News; Vencan) is pleased to announce results for the recently completed exploration program carried out on Vencan's Cayenne East Property located 100 kilometers southwest of Timmins.

Vencan has been exploring for base metals and gold on the Company's Cayenne Property in the Archean aged Woman River Greenstone Belt. The property scale focus of Vencan's efforts is a prospective iron formation horizon, which has recently been interpreted by the Company to be folded into a plunging isoclinal antiform with associated synforms. A number of base metal occurrences occupy the limbs of at least two of these folds. It is Vencan's goal to direct exploration efforts to explore for volcanic massive sulphide (VMS) deposits within this favourable environment. The initial focus of the exploration program has been the drilling of known VMS style mineralization in the area of the Jefferson Zn-Pb deposit and the Burton Shaft Zn-Pb-Au occurrence, which are now known to lie on separate fold structures.

HIGHLIGHTS OF RESULTS - INTERSECTION OF 4.22% ZN OVER 16.85 METERS

- Discovery in outcrop and relocation of a historical massive sulphide occurrence now named the 'Vencan Zinc Showing' 2.0 kilometers to the west of the Jefferson Zn-Pb deposit with grab samples assaying up to 17.96% Zn. Vencan drilled beneath the showing and intercepted 4.22% over 16.85 meters including 7.27% Zn over 8.50 meters on a IP, magnetometer and gravity anomaly that extends 500 meters to the west.

- Channel sample 100 meters west along strike of the Vencan Zinc Showing assayed 1250 ppm Zn, 538 ppm Pb, and 155 ppm Cu over 1.1 meters. A regional grab sample taken 1.25 kilometers to the west on strike with the Vencan Zinc showing returned 8500 ppm Zn and 985 ppm Cu.

- Identification of a prospective VMS target with a gold-, silver-, copper-, lead-, and zinc-in-soils anomaly that is coincident with an 800 meter long gravity anomaly.

- Identification of an anticline fold-nose adjacent to the Jefferson deposit within the favourable iron formation, which will become the new focus of the fall exploration program, as well as the delineation of an additional, previously unknown fold limb.

SUMMARY OF RESULTS

JEFFERSON DEPOSIT AND BURTON SHAFT AREA

The primary focus of the summer 2006 exploration program was VMS style mineralization in the area of the Jefferson Zn-Pb deposit (Jefferson) which contains an historical (1948) non-NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate of 30,100 tons at 7.05% Zn and 4.58% Pb. The historical work defined "massive sulphides enriched in zinc and lead over a strike length of 150 meters and to a vertical depth of 30 metres". Deeper drilling to a vertical depth of 85 metres in 1950 indicated continuity of the zinc-lead enriched sulphide body. Some of the better drill intersections documented by the historical work on the Jefferson deposit included 4.43% Zn and 1.25% Pb over 22.9 meters and 9.1% Zn and 11.5% Pb over 6.9 meters.

Work by Falconbridge Limited in the 1980's reinterpreted the mineralization at the Jefferson deposit as associated with cross-cutting fractures and so not strictly of the VMS type. The results of the 2006 exploration program conducted by Vencan supports this interpretation, however, the Company's consultants believe that the known mineralization may be stringer type mineralization that indicates that potential exists to discover a proximal VMS source on Vencan's property. A total of 12 diamond drill holes were completed by Vencan during the 2006 exploration program in the area of the Jefferson (holes VG-06-02 through VG-06-13) in an attempt to replicate historical results. The best drill intersections encountered in the 2006 program include 7.24% Zn over 1.85 meters (VG-06-02), 2.34% Zn and 2.10% Pb over 8.70 meters (VG-06-04), 1.83% Zn and 1.29% Pb over 10.20 meters (VG-06-05), and 1.48% Zn over 13.60 meters (VG-06-12). Two holes were drilled to the west of the Jefferson to test for strike extension of known mineralization. HoleVG-06-14 was drilled 300 meters to the west and encountered 8.93% Pb over 3.10 meters. Drill-Hole VG-06-15 was drilled 600 meters to the west and encountered no significant mineralization. Vencan was not able to confirm the thickness or tenor of mineralization at the Jefferson as was historically reported.

Drilling was also completed near the Burton Shaft Zn-Pb-Au occurrence located north-east of the Jefferson deposit which is interpreted to lie within a limb of a complementary syncline to the Jefferson "anticline". A single drill hole by Hollinger in 1929 intersected 7.5% Zn, 1.5%Pb and 7.5 g/t Au over 4.8 meters. A hole drilled immediately adjacent to the Burton Shaft during the 2006 exploration program (VG-06-01) encountered 1.55% Zn and 0.35% Pb over 6.05 meters with no significant gold mineralization.

The gravity survey outlined a pronounced positive anomaly approximately 550 metres in length coincident with the Jefferson deposit.

BASE METAL-GOLD TARGETS IDENTIFIED

Geologic mapping in conjunction with the ground magnetometer survey identified a previously unknown anticline fold nose of the Woman River Iron Formation 500 meters to the east of the Jefferson deposit which the Company's consultants' believe is a highly prospective base metal-gold target. The anticline appears to plunge shallowly to the east and the gravity survey revealed a weak but continuous positive anomaly that is coincident with the projected plunge and which extends for 800 meters in this direction. Considering that the amplitude of the gravity effect is attenuated by even modest depths of burial the "anticline" target merits thorough exploration follow up.

SOIL SAMPLING HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL

The orientation soil sampling survey was highly successful in identifying the known mineralized zones, as well as highlighting a previously unknown area east of the Jefferson deposit which is anomalous in gold, silver, copper, lead, and zinc. This multi-element anomaly is also coincident with the western edge of the "anticline" gravity anomaly at the eastern limit of the present soil survey coverage.

WORK COMPLETED - SUMMER 2006

- Completion of a 2,425 meter diamond drill program in 17 holes testing two target areas.

- Completion of 54 kilometers of newly established line over the 'Genoa Grid'. The grid was geologically mapped, ground magnetometer and gravity surveys were completed, and IP/resistivity surveys were completed over selected lines (21 line kilometers). The surveys were optimized to allow the delineation of the known iron formation horizon and to identify additional extensions of this favourable unit.

- Rock-grab sampling (101 samples) and channel sampling (49 samples) over prospective areas of the Genoa Grid.

- Completion of 12.6 line kilometers of soil sampling (427 samples) over prospective areas on the newly established 'Genoa Grid' to test the efficacy of multi-element soil sampling on the property.

- Completion of preliminary helicopter supported prospecting over 14 anomalous areas identified by the AeroTEM helicopter-borne EM/Magnetometer survey completed over Vencan's Cayenne Property earlier in the year. A total of 31 grab samples were collected over prospective mineralized zones.

'VENCAN ZINC SHOWING' AREA

The area around the historical drill intersection of 11.98% Zn over 3.2 meters located approximately 2.0 km to the west of the Jefferson Deposit was investigated during the 2006 exploration program, and an outcrop of sphalerite-rich mineralization corresponding to an AeroTEM helicopter-borne EM/Magnetometer anomaly was discovered. Grab samples from this outcrop yielded assay values ranging from 11.2% Zn to 17.96% Zn. Vencan drill hole VG-06-16 later completed beneath the outcrop intersected 4.22% over 16.85 meters including 7.27% Zn over 8.50 meters on a IP, magnetometer and gravity anomaly that extends 500 meters to the west. Subsequent to the field exploration program, inversion modeling of the 2006 IP data has identified a pronounced anomaly 100 meters to the north-west of the VG-06-16 collar that is open to the west. A channel sample of massive sulphide 100 meters west of hole VG-06-16 assayed 1250 ppm Zn, 538 ppm Pb, and 155 ppm Cu over 1.1 meter, and a regional highly anomalous grab sample taken 1.25 kilometers to the west assayed 8500 ppm Zn and 985 ppm Cu.

FALL PROGRAM

During the planned fall exploration program, the Genoa Grid will be expanded west for 3 kilometers to encompass what appears to be the strike extension of the Vencan Zinc Showing based upon the AeroTEM helicopter-borne EM/Magnetometer survey data. Additional geophysical surveys will be conducted over the grid extension in conjunction with soil geochemical sampling. Highly skilled prospectors will be deployed to investigate defined targets and to explore for new targets along the favourable horizon. Drilling during the fall program will test targets identified as a result of the exploration programs.

The above information describing historical drill-hole intersections and mineral resources were taken from a review for Vencan of the historical data completed by GeoVector Management Inc of Ottawa.

So zu den News bleibt mir folgendes Fazit:


Vencan wird werthaltiger und die Chancen bekommen mineralisierte Grundlagen.
Dieses erste Bohrprogramm wurde im Jefferson Deposit schwerpunktmäßig durchgeführt. Aufgrund der geomagnetischen Voruntersuchungen war klar, dass es sich hierbei "nur" um Basismetalle handeln konnte. Daher keine Gold- bzw. Silberfunde.

Dass bei diesen Bohrungen ein neues Zink-Deposit offensichtlich gefunden wurde, welches nun durch nähere Diamant-Bohrungen konkret untersucht werden muss, ist ein sehr guter Schritt für das Unternehmen!!!! Und 4,2 % Zn über 16 Meter sind erstmal eine sehr ordentliche Hausnummer!!! Darüber hinaus wurden zahlreiche neue, verheissungsvolle Targets entdeckt.

Bei dem nächsten Bohrprogramm beginnend noch im September werden östlich vom Jefferson Deposit einige Gold- und Silbertargets untersucht!!!!

Also im November werden dann die nächsten (hoffentlich) Bombennews folgen...

China´s Zentralbank besitzt als derzeit gerade mal 1,3 Prozent ihrer gesamten Reserven in Gold. Bei anderen Zentralbanken sind es mindestens 5 Prozent und mehr...
Daher hat auch China angekündigt ihre Währungsreserven (Hauptteil besteht in US-Dollar) in Richtung von Gold zu diversifizieren!!!

Soweit nichts Neues, allerdings umfasst die Aufstockung ihrer Goldbestände auf das o.g. Niveau die gesamte Jahresfördersumme von etwa 2000 Tonnen Gold!!!

Was das für den Goldpreis bedeutet, kann sich jeder selber denken...

Ungeachtet dessen existiert noch ein zweiter bullischer Faktor in China. Der Chuppie.
D.h. die aufstrebende neue Mittelschicht, welche zukunftssichere Statussymbole erwerben will. Diese Eigenschaft weisen insbesondere die Edelmatalle auf, sodass auch von dieser Seite Unterstützung für den Goldmarkt kommen sollte!!!

What's happening to copper, gold and other commodity prices?
China is what’s happening.

Beijing thought it could control commodity prices. In May, it played a billion-dollar game of bluff–and lost.

In May, when mining companies tried to push through metal contracts 25% - 65% higher for the coming year, Beijing bit back. Walked away from the table. Stopped all buying.

The chaos that resulted ripped through every market around the world, and took an ax to commodity prices.

But governments can’t control prices. And Beijing’s clumsy move quickly backfired. You see, China needs raw materials so desperately to build everything from roads to apartments that it has very limited leverage.

Steelmakers in Japan, South Korea and Europe have already hammered out a 19% price increase for ore. And now China has had to cave in, too. Commodity prices are recovering–and you’ve got an ideal second chance to make a killing.

Commodity Potholes.

The raw materials equation is shifting rapidly in China as we speak.
Not all commodities are in a bull market. Let me give you an example. The concrete and bitumen being poured for the new super highway system has been drastically downscaled. I saw gangs of road workers recently in a rural area outside Xian, using hammers and wheelbarrows to build roads.

No concrete, no tar, no fancy machinery in sight.
This first-hand observation is confirmed when we look into China’s import figures for concrete: China has drastically cut back cement imports and ramped up domestic production.

Not all commodities are great investments....

Begin by snapping up copper. As temperatures soar, blackouts are becoming a daily nuisance. My analysts are reporting maximum power loads in Beijing in excess of 14 million kilowatts–a huge rise above last year’s peak usage.

Copper is what keeps China’s electricity on and keeps the air conditioners running. And copper reserves are at DANGEROUSLY low levels. Miners have the whip hand here, make no mistake.

Now, for copper, you must go to South America, and I’m sure you’ve heard about the leftist lurch there. This helped push mining stocks down. But now the elections are over and the rhetoric can be seen as largely empty.

Interestingly, management at our top Latin copper mine is now buying back very large blocks of its own stock. This virtually guarantees us a floor

The Case for Uranium

Uranium is the new cornerstone of China’s energy policy. Forty nuclear reactors have been ordered by Beijing–and in a single stroke, uranium supplies have become very, very constricted.
When America was busy building reactors, yellowcake hit $43. Then, after Three Mile Island, it sank to $9. Today, it is priced over $40–and could readily climb to $70.

Even if no new reactors were built, the world needs 200 million pounds of uranium this year. But barely 100 million pounds will be mined.

Most professional gold traders I talk to are struck dumb by gold’s latest gyrations, not seen in a generation. But it pays to become a student of China’s shifting gold reserves policy. Here’s what the gold bugs have completely missed.

According to the IMF, China currently holds just 1.4% of its total foreign exchange reserves in gold. This is the lowest amongst major central banks. The average is 5% and many central banks have a lot more than that.

Now consider: if China were to boost its gold holdings just to 5%, it would need to buy a year’s total mining output!
Of course, that wouldn’t happen–not overnight, anyway.
But it is very likely to happen over time, and here’s why:
Beijing has already declared that, as the Yuan rises and the value of China’s Dollar-hoard is forced down, China will aggressively diversify into gold.

This makes cold economic sense. Islamic nations have been doing the same since 2004, and this has already been a significant force behind the resurgence of gold from $391 to over $600 an ounce. Inflation had nothing to do with it.

So: Beijing is one big new gold buyer. Who is the other?
The second big new buyer of gold is the Chuppie: the newly-affluent Chinese yuppie.

The Chuppie has not been a gold-buyer until very recently, but a recent China Strategy survey of spending habits among China’s new middle class indicated that there is a remarkable change afoot.
Our historic survey found intense conservatism among the new middle class in China. This burgeoning group will buy real estate, they will buy status symbols, but above all, they will hedge against an uncertain future.

And they are using gold to do it.

Who could blame them? This is a generation that saw their parents eat grass to survive, and experienced individual aspirations being publicly crushed into the collective mud.

Here in the U.S., we saw how the Great Depression made Gold Bugs of an entire generation. Imagine, then, the effect on today’s Chuppies of Mao’s ghastly Great Leap Forward!

Small wonder, too, that Chuppies in our survey felt extreme caution about socking their savings away in Beijing’s banks. Banks are seen by many in China as corrupt and liable to be plundered by the government.

So gold is the logical answer.

Today’s Chuppies are buying gold, but not in the form of the heavy, 24-caret jewelry favored in India. Hip new looks and lighter alloys are coveted–but the effect on gold prices is the same.
It’s a classic demand-driven boom–just as we’ve seen in so many commodities over the past 5 years.

VenCan Gold Corporation (TSX VENTURE: VCG)("Vencan") has raised $750,000 through the sale of 7,500,000 flow-through units ("FT Units") at $0.10 each to the MineralFields Group in a non-brokered private placement. Each FT Unit shall consist of one common share of VenCan to be issued as a "flow-through share" and one non-flow-through common share purchase warrant. Each common share purchase warrant will entitle the holder thereof to purchase one common share of the capital stock of VenCan that is not a "flow-through share" at an exercise price of $0.15 per common share at any time until November 17, 2008.

All securities issued in connection with this financing will be subject to a four month hold period which expires on March 18, 2007. In conjunction with the financing, a cash finders fee of 6.5% of the proceeds for a total of $48,750 was paid, and broker's compensation options were issued to acquire a total of 7.0% of the Units sold, being 525,000 broker options exercisable at $0.10 per Unit until November 17, 2008.

The proceeds from the private placement will be used by Vencan for exploration work on its properties in Northern Ontario. Financing

Da hatte wohl jemand wohl einen nervösen Zeigefinger, war entäuscht, dass die Vencan jetzt noch nicht steigt, wollte nicht mehr warten, und hat vermutlich noch mit Verlust verkauft.

Der Umsatz bei *VCG.V* betrug gestern gerade einmal 78000.- Kanada Dollars!

Die Insider kauften, bei 0.10 übrigens, und haben sich, wie leider heute bei den Minen, und Explorern gang und gäbe, für einen höchtwahrscheinlich von ihnen erwarteten zukünftigen Kursanstieg zusätzlich bereits mit "garatis" Optionen versorgt.

Zumeist geschieht sowas, wie die Erfahrung lehrt, vor einen erwarteten Anstieg, und nicht etwa danach.

Vencans vergangene kursliche Entwicklung war bisher, abgesehen vom einem kurzen Spike auf 0.20 eine volle Entäuschung, und konnte meine Erwartungen noch nicht erfüllen. Das heisst aber bestimmt nicht, dass dies auch so bleiben muss, oder bleiben wird.

Einen Grund beim heutigen Kurs der Aktie sich Sorgen zu machen gibt es jedoch meinem Wissenstand nach aus fundamentaler Sicht bestimmt nicht.

Im Gegenteil!



Wer noch keine Vencan Gold, als spekulative Beimischung in seinem Depot hat, sollte jetzt kaufen, und nicht erst dann wenn sie evtl. wieder in einigen Wochen, oder Monaten mit 20 Cents gehandelt wird.

Was mich selbst betrifft, werde ich weiter voll investiert bleiben, und geduldig abwarten müssen bis sich meine Erwartungen erfüllen. Mindestens solange wie die bekannten Fakten, und Zahlen zu Vencan Gold stimmen, und ein solches Anlage Verhalten gerechtfertigen.

Bis heute ist dies immer noch devinitiv der Fall!

Die letzte Privat Platzierung erfolgte erst gerade am 5 Dezember zu 10 Cents. pro Aktie. Der Investor www.mineralfields.com sollte eigendlich bekannt dafür sein, dass er zumeist genau weiss, in was er investiert.

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 16, 2007) - Kirk McKinnon, President and CEO of VenCan Gold Corporation (VenCan) (TSX VENTURE:VCG - News) is pleased to announce the results from VenCan's fall exploration program in the Western Abitibi Greenstone Belt. Exploration was focused on pursuing VMS-style mineralization within the 188 claims in the Cayenne East area, but also included helicopter-supported reconnaissance exploration over all of VenCan's 364 claims.



HIGHLIGHTS OF THE FALL 2006 EXPLORATION PROGRAM

- Identification of two prospective volcanogenic massive sulphides (VMS) targets, named the 'Omicron' and 'Pi' targets, with coincident soil geochemical and lithogeochemical anomalies.

- Identification in core of mineral alteration often associated with VMS deposits.

FALL 2006 EXPLORATION PROGRAM

- Drilling 4 diamond drill holes (641 meters).

- Line cutting/grid placement over the Genoa Grid Extension (27.7 line km).

- Soil sampling over the Genoa Grid Extension in its entirety, as well as infill soil sampling over the Genoa Grid, and regional soil sampling over a structurally complex area with a distinct geological environment that resembles that of the Timmins Camp identified through airborne geophysics.

- Prospecting over the Genoa Grid Extension and Genoa Grid.

- Helicopter-supported prospecting over regional airborne geophysical anomalies.

SUMMARY OF RESULTS

DRILLING

The primary focus of the fall exploration program was VMS-style mineralization in the area of the VenCan Zinc Showing. Grab samples from this area during the summer exploration program yielded assay values ranging from 11.2% to 17.96% zinc (Zn). VenCan drill hole VG-06-16 completed beneath the showing intersected 4.22% Zn over 16.85 meters including 7.27% Zn over 8.50 meters during the summer program. Subsequent to the summer field exploration program, inversion modeling of the 2006 IP data identified a pronounced anomaly 100 meters to the north-west of the VG-06-16 collar that was interpreted to be open to the west. The interpreted strike extension of the VenCan Zinc Showing, as well as the geophysical anomaly identified by inversion modelling of the IP data, was drill tested during the fall exploration program with holes VG-06-18, VG-06-19, and VG-06-20. The tenor of zinc mineralization encountered in hole VG-06-16 could not be replicated in the fall exploration drill holes.

An additional hole (VG-06-21) was completed on strike, and 200 metres west of the VenCan Zinc Showing to test an anomalous structure identified with the AeroTEM helicopter-borne EM/magnetometer data obtained in the spring. The drill hole encountered only minor zinc mineralization, but was significant in that it exhibited strong chlorite alteration throughout its felsic volcanic sequence. Chlorite is a diagnostic alteration mineral commonly found in the footwall zones of VMS deposits. Due to a paucity of surficial exploration data to the west of this drill hole to aid in drill target selection however, it was decided by management to terminate the drilling program and analyze the prospecting and soil geochemical data collected during the fall exploration program before proceeding.

SOIL GEOCHEMISTRY IDENTIFIES "Pi" and "OMICRON" VMS TARGETS

An extensive soil sampling survey was completed during the fall exploration program. This included infill sampling over the Genoa Grid established during the summer exploration program, sampling over the entire Genoa Grid Extension which was established during the fall exploration program, and regional sampling over a structurally disrupted region identified through analysis of airborne geophysical data. The soil sampling identified anomalous areas proximal to the Jefferson Deposit and the VenCan Zinc Showing. This was not unexpected and served to support the efficacy of soil sampling in the area. The most highly anomalous soil geochemical values were not obtained over these areas, however. The largest anomalies were located proximal to airborne targets 'Pi' and 'Omicron'.

The 'Pi' target is located 2.5 kilometres west of the VenCan Zinc Showing and 4.5 kilometres west of the Jefferson Deposit. There is very little outcrop exposure associated with this anomaly, but the limited exposure has yielded rock grab samples that have assayed as high as 8500 ppm zinc. The 'Omicron' target is located 1.5 kilometres south-west of the 'Pi' target, and was not thoroughly prospected. Previous work by Falconbridge Limited, however, identified a highly anomalous lithogeochemical VMS target in this area that corresponds to the most highly anomalous soil geochemical VMS target identified by VenCan during the fall exploration program.

REGIONAL EXPLORATION IDENTIFIES KAPPA GOLD TARGET

Helicopter-supported prospecting over regional airborne geophysical anomalies was conducted during the fall exploration program. The most significant results obtained were over the 'Kappa' target with three samples returning values of 35 g/t gold, 24.4g/t gold, and 10.6 g/t gold.

Previous work by VenCan in 2005 identified an historic trench with well developed ankerite-sericite-silica altered felsic volcanic tuffs and flows of the Strata Lake Formation. The most significant result obtained was 0.4% copper from a grab sample containing fine-grained, disseminated pyrite (2-5%), chalcopyrite (1-2%) and molybdenite (0.1%).

2007 EXPLORATION PROGRAM OUTLINES SIGNIFICANT POTENTIAL FOR SHEAR ZONE HOSTED LODE GOLD DEPOSITS

During the planned 2007 exploration program, the Genoa Grid Extension will be extended further west for 2.5 kilometres to encompass the 'Omicron' target. This newly established grid will undergo ground geophysics and will be drill tested.

Additionally, there is significant potential for shear zone hosted lode gold deposits in the mafic volcanic rocks and felsic intrusions of the Trailbreaker Group that lie to the north of the Woman River Iron Formation, in the area that is bounded by the Woman and Rush Rivers. There is known gold mineralization associated with a 400 metre by 500 metre felsic porphyry intrusion, which is referred to as the Gagne Zone. This mineralization occurs in quartz veins and pyrite mineralized portions of the felsic porphyry intrusion along east-west and northwest-southeast trending shear zones. The best assays to date are from historic (2002) trenches and consist of 2.10 g/t Au over 6m and 4.99 g/t Au over 6m. A re-interpretation of the regional aeromagnetic and geological mapping surveys outlined several interpreted second and third order shear zones within the mafic volcanic rocks along the untested northern contact of the Gagne Zone. The Trailbreaker Group, has been correlated with the Tisdale Group rocks of the Timmins gold camp. The Tisdale Group is host to several past gold producers with gold mineralization hosted in quartz veins within mafic volcanic rocks and felsic porphyry intrusions. In particular, the Timmins area hosts the McIntyre-Hollinger-Coniarum Mines which had a combined past production of 30 million ounces. The follow-up work program in this area will consist of prospecting and reconnaissance soil sampling.

The Gagne target consists of gold in quartz veins that are hosted within the mafic volcanic rocks of the Trailbreaker Group.

Mit Sicherheit kann es auch etwas mit der vermuteten Gold-shear-zone auf dem Main-property zu tun haben!!!

Und der MM in Frankfurt wollte mir einfach keine zu 0,07 verkaufen das ist ja echt zum "Hoch- Himmel schreiend" unsere Boersenausicht schläft einfach. Mein Anruf gestern hat auch nur für einen Tag ihr übriges getan, heute wurde z.B. der gleiche Spread (von 50 %) bei "Dioro" gestellt, obwohl kein Handel da war.
Ich frage mich Ehrlich für was brauchen wir hier letztendlich eine Boersenaufsicht wenn die, nicht tätig werden?

Vencan Gold Corp - MacDonald Mines Expl. - Uranium Sar

Beim Stöbern in den Geschäftsberichten der Vencan Gold Corp. ist mir aufgefallen das Herr Kirk J.A. McKinnon bei der Vencan Gold Corp im Management sitzt, bei der MacDonald Mines Exploration und bei Yukon Recources umbenannt in URANIUM STAR.
Da ich nicht so erfahren bin was die Gepflogenheiten in den Chefetagen von Explorern betrifft, würde mich interessieren ob bei derartig starken Verstrickungen in verschiedenen Unternehmen nicht die Qualität auf der strecke bleibt.
Wenn mir diesbezüglich jemand sagen könnte ob das normal ist und ob man derartige Tatsachen bei seinen Investment Entscheidungen berücksichtigen sollte währe ich super dankbar.

Aufgrund des Mangels an Fachleuten im Mining/Explorer-Bereich ist die von dir beschriebene Tatsache normales Geschäftsgebaren geworden.

Das betrifft zwar überwiegend die Geologen, aber auch die kompetenten CEO´s sind rar.

Muss dir also keine allzu großen Kopfschmerzen bereiten...

Und wenn man es positiv sehen möchte, somit kann sich Mc Kinnon Erfahrungswerte in einem anderen Umfeld aneignen und für Vencan nutzen!!!


Übrigens hat sich hier in FF am Freitag ja jemand ein hübsches Sümmchen an Vencan Aktien gesichert!!!

Habe gestern ne Mail vom CEO (Mc Kinnon) erhalten,

wonach Vencan bei der Messe in Toronto auf reges Interesse gestoßen ist. Des Weiteren sieht er das Unternehmen derzeit "well funded" und auf dem richtigen Weg. Sie (das Management) sind gerade in der heißen Phase der Vorbereitungen für das Explorationsprogramm 2007.
Außerdem hofft er das News ("shortly") publiziert werden können.

Was mir aufgefallen ist auf stockwatch ist, dass die größte Position heute bis jetzt über das Sprott Investmenthouse gekauft wurde (744.000 Stück zu 67.615 CAD). Das ist das 1. Mal (zumindest heuer), dass überhaupt über Sprott gekauft wurde. Wobei ich ja bis heute noch immer nicht genau verstehe, ob bzw. wie das Investmenthaus Sprott mit Sprott Asset Managment in Verbindung steht.

Sollte sich Sprott Asset Managment eine Position bei Vencan aufbauen, wäre das wohl ein ausgezeichnetes Zeichen, weil die würden das wohl nicht grundlos tun. Aber alles reine Spekulation meinerseits.

Die letzten Bohrergebnisse waren ja nicht so toll. Andererseits ist die MK wirklich ausgesprochen gering, d. h. ein gutes Bohrergebnis kann da schnell 100 % bedeuten IMO.

Harren wir der Dinge.

Für mich ist VCG ein alles oder nichts Investment. Bei der MK können

Hallo zusammen,

habe die Vorstellung auf Kingstrade gelesen. Die Ergebnisse bisher sind ja wirklich nicht supertoll. Aber interessant ist Vencan schon, vor allem wegen der niedrigen MK, was hier ja auch angeführt wird. Die Sache ist ganz einfach. Finden die etwas, dann knallt das Ding bei der MK durch.

Was ich sehr interessant finde, ist die Auflistung der Direktorenposten und die der Berater in drei Firmen. Hab mal eine Bildschirmdatei gemacht.



geht leider nicht, schade.

Überlege mir noch, ob ich einsteige. Die sagten auch, man sollte in Kanada ordern. Das geht bei mir aber nicht, da ich über ING Diba kaufe. Und in FFM oder Berlin zahlt man immer einen Aufschlag bei so kleinen Werten.

Ich befürchte auch, dass der Kurs nochmals zurückkommt. Aber wenn jetzt wirklich grössere Investoren einsteigen, könnte es auch weiter hoch gehen und Vencan vielleicht doch noch gute News in der Pipeline haben.

On geological maps of northeastern Ontario, the Kenogamissi batholith sits like a giant blister on the heel of the Abitibi greenstone belt, interrupting the northeast-southwest flow of the prolific belt and creating a physical and psychological barrier to exploration. Why venture to the other side of the intrusion when the richest ore has always been found in Abitibi proper?

Precisely because the other side - namely the Swayze greenstone belt to the west and, to a lesser extent, the Shining Tree belt to the south - is relatively underexplored, according to several small companies returning to these areas to take advantage of the resurgence in the gold price and easy access to flow-through financing.

"When people start going back to look at the Swayze, then you know it's good times in the industry," says Brian Atkinson, regional resident geologist for the Timmins district. He considers the carbonate-altered mafic volcanics of the Swayze belt to be prime hunting ground for gold deposits similar to those found in the Timmins camp.

Geologists have long postulated that the Swayze belt may be the western extension of the Abitibi, with the same potential for giant ore deposits. But the theory has never been proven, and Swayze, through dotted with mineral occurances, has yet to yield a significant deposit. The Shining Tree belt has a similar history of small-fry discoveries.

But several companies, including VenCan Gold (VCG-V), are keeping up the search. Armed with a strong gold price and recent research from the Ontario Geological Survey (OGS), VenCan is focusing its efforts on Cayenne and Chili properties within the Woman River anticline on the Swayze belt, southwest of Timmins.

"We felt as if we had to find something that was a little contrarian, but also fish where the fish are," says Kirk McKinnon, president and chief executive officer of VenCan. "I think we're the first movers in a new look at the western Abitibi."

Pretty daring of McKinnon, calling it the western Abitibi. But then VenCan's entire business plan rests on the premise that Swayze is not an independent belt at all but rather an extension of the Abitibi that was merely cut off by the batholith intrusion.

The two belts do have similar stratigraphy and tectonic history, according to a 2003 open-file report by OGS geologists Jens Becker and Keith Benn that analyzes extensive new structural, geochemical, geophysicial and geochronological evidence. The VenCan properties themselves are underlain by units now considered to be time-stratigraphic equivalents of the prolific portion of the Abitibi.

VenCan plans to focus its exploration efforts on banded iron formation and shear-hosted gold deposits.

War jetzt leider 2 Wochen beruflich abstinent und habe daher den Anstieg nur passiv verfolgen können. Habe dieses positive Szenario von hohen Kurszuwächsen mit gewaltigem Volumen schon ein paar Mal bei VCG erlebt. Meist steckten nicht mehr als Gerüchte dahinter. Allerdings müssten bei VCG so im Juni/Juli tatsächlich News anstehen!!!

VenCan Gold Corp. Acquires Large Abitibi West Property for Gold Exploration
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 26, 2007) -

The Property

VenCan Gold Corporation (TSX VENTURE:VCG) is pleased to announce that it has purchased a major land package (372 claim units totalling 5,952 hectares) located west of Timmins in Dore, Heenan, Swayze, Denyes and Marion townships. VenCan will acquire a 100% undivided right, title and interest in and to the property by making the following payments to Don McKinnon: issuance of 3,000,000 common shares and 1,500,000 warrants exercisable at $0.50 per share for a period of 24 months from date of issuance and the transfer of 200,000 Patricia Mining Corp. shares currently owned and held by VenCan Gold. VenCan will acquire the "Property" rights free and clear of all Encumbrances, subject only to the NSR Royalty of 3% for gold and 2% for base metals. In connection with this acquisition the company will pay KAR Geological Inc. a finders and consulting fee of 300,000 common shares.

All securities issued in connection with this transaction will be subject to a four month hold period.

The property package has been acquired from famed prospector Don McKinnon, well known for his role in the discovery of the lucrative Hemlo Gold Mines. McKinnon has held the claim groups for three years and with this signed agreement, VenCan will explore the claims for their gold and base metal potential. In addition, the company utilizing its consultant, KAR Geological Inc., has staked an additional 228 claim units resulting in a total land package of 600 claim units (9,600 hectares).

Don McKinnon, co-discoverer of the rich Hemlo Gold Mines and recipient of the Order of Canada for his prospecting skills states, "This area hasn't had a thorough investigation and given the property's geological similarities to the Porcupine and Kirkland Lake gold camps, it certainly deserves further exploration."

Geology

The properties are located within the Swayze greenstone belt, which represents the western extension of the prolific Abitibi greenstone belt (same age, different volcanic constructs). The Swayze greenstone belt is connected to the eastern Abitibi by two bands of strongly deformed supracrustal rocks. The northern band is considered to mark the western extension of the Porcupine-Destor Deformation Zone, which is the major structure associated with gold deposits in the Porcupine Gold Camp around Timmins. The southern band marks the western extension of the Larder Lake Deformation Zone, a major structure related to gold deposits extending right across the southern Abitibi from the southern Swayze, then Matachewan, Kirkland Lake and through to Val d'Or. The Don McKinnon property is situated in the area where these two key regional structures may converge.

The property also features basinal structures which developed as a result of movement and fracturing along splays of these major deformation zones. There are late Archean alkaline quartz-feldspar and feldspar porphyry sills, as well as conglomeratic units that were deposited in the basins. Of prime importance, these basins are of Timiskaming age and appear similar to units that are spatially associated with gold deposits in both the Porcupine and Kirkland Lake gold camps.

Exploration Focus

Randall Salo, P.Geo will head up the exploration program for VenCan. The program will follow a four phase exploration initiative. Exploration will focus on Timiskaming age rock units associated with fault and shear zones in search of vein, breccia and sediment hosted gold. Syenitic rocks will also be explored as many of the gold ore bodies in the Kirkland Lake area are related to syenite plugs and trachytic flows associated with Timiskaming-type sedimentary rocks. Syenite plugs in the Kirkland Lake area also host copper in economic concentrations in addition to significant gold values (Queenston; Upper Beaver property).

Exploration Program

Phase 1

The initial exploration work on the property will consist of an aggressive prospecting program focussing on anomalous areas as defined by Ontario government geophysical, geological and regional geochemical surveys. The program will also identify the extent of outcrop exposure on the property. Phase 1 began on June 21st and is expected to take 30 days to complete at a cost of approximately $200,000.

Phase 2

The second phase of exploration will follow up anomalous rock samples with geological mapping, trenching, channel sampling and blasting. As the prospecting program proceeds, sample results will be available on an ongoing basis and Phase 2 can be initiated at any time based on positive results. VenCan has immediate access to heavy equipment and trained personnel to complete this work in an efficient manner.

Phase 3 - Geophysical Surveys

Anomalous areas that merit subsurface investigation will be surveyed using geophysical techniques in order to aid in designing a diamond drill program to test the subsurface environment.

Phase 4 - Diamond Drilling

A diamond drilling program will be designed and implemented based on results of all previous exploration. It is anticipated that the first phase of diamond drilling would consist of approximately 2,000 meters.

Current Activities

VenCan has assembled an experienced prospecting team to carry out Phase 1. Trenching and diamond drilling equipment has been made available from McKinnon Prospecting and Whissel Drilling of Timmins, and Expedition Helicopters of Cochrane is currently readying accommodations and communications in the property area.

VenCan has recently completed systematic claim staking adjacent to the Don McKinnon property. The incremental land acquisition was based on favourable geology ascertained through the compilation of available geological and geophysical data. VenCan now has 100% ownership of a land package totalling approximately 9,600 hectares. KAR Geological Inc. identified and managed the acquisition of the staked claims.

Gestern (14.09.2010) wurden Kanada knapp 5 Mio Stücke gehandelt.
Der Kurs stieg um 27 % auf 0,11 Can$.

Der Grund hierfür dürften m.E. die ausstehenden Bohrergebniss sein (Bohrbegin Ende August - ein Teil der Bohrungen auf einem Teilstück der property sollten bereits nach 1 Woche beendet sein, dann sollte das rig auf einem anderen Teil der property eingesetzt werden).
Entweder ist die entsprechende news schon auf dem Wege der Veröffentlichung, oder es ist etwas durchgesickert, oder ...

Increased Stake in Mortimer Claims

Red Pine originally entered into a Purchase and Sale agreement with Charlie Mortimer to acquire 59% of the Property, located in the Dore Township, consisting of 12 claim blocks as disclosed in the Company’s press release dated October 15, 2009. Subsequently, the Company acquired the Lovold Party’s 30% interest in the property as disclosed in the Company’s press release dated March 16, 2010. The Company then owned an 89% interest in the property and subsequently concluded an arrangement with the Hennessy Party for the remaining 11% interest.
Hennessy Purchase and Sale Agreement.

In order to acquire a 100% undivided right, title and interest in and to the Hennessy Party’s 11% interest in the property, Red Pine is required to:

1. pay the Seller the sum of $7,500 cash; and

2. issue to the Seller fifty (50,000) common shares of Red Pine which will be subject to resale restrictions imposed by applicable securities laws, including a four month and one day hold period on such shares.

3. grant the Seller a 0.2% Net Smelter Royalty (“NSR”). Red Pine has the exclusive right but not the obligation, at any time, to purchase the entire NSR for a sum of two-hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($250,000).

Large, Multi-Zoned Ore-Quality Gold System Evolving Around DZ3 Deformation Zone

Initial drilling, trenching and sampling results suggest that the Michelle Zone is a part of a large, multi-zoned, ore-quality gold system evolving on the SaraCourt Property.

Current exploration is focused on discoveries to the north of the newly identified DZ3 Deformation Corridor (as described in Red Pine's press release dated June 7, 2010) - a structure that appears to be an extension of the Destor-Porcupine Deformation Zone that confines the majority of gold mines in the Timmins area.

The DZ3 Deformation Corridor runs approximately 20 kilometres through the SaraCourt Property.

Early Indications and Evidence of Regional Gold System

Examination of the drill core indicates a strong lithologic-structural-alteration control to the mineralization typical of shear-vein systems similar to significant gold deposits seen in the Timmins-Porcupine Gold Camp.

Quentin Yarie, Red Pine's Vice President of Exploration comments "What we are observing in the geophysical data and on the ground are the features of a Timmins-style camp; that is an northeast-southwest trending deformation corridor with numerous splays." Red Pine has exposed and mapped multiple felsic porphyries that occur on the SaraCourt Property. We have found our highest gold values in the Michelle and Krista zones, which lie adjacent to or beneath these systems. Most of the gold mineralization in the Timmins Gold Camp came from mines within or proximal to similar felsic porphyries.

Red Pine's consulting geologist, Hadyn Butler P.Geo said, "Red Pine's exploration focus to the north of the DZ3 structure has confirmed that medium to large gold-bearing shear veins are more extensive than brittle veins. The permissive shears examined to date, as well as the type of gold mineralization (shear veins, wide zones of iron carbonate, micro-scaled ladder structures and uniform finely disseminated pyrite) indicate that several parallel shear-hosted mesothermal zones have high potential to host economic gold mineralization."

On-going exploration has identified significant gold mineralized envelopes associated with strongly carbonatized, pyritized and silicified shear zones showing classic mesothermal gold signatures.

Emerging New Gold Zones Identified

The historic database compiled by Red Pine included a large ground-based magnetic survey and an IP survey from the early 1980's. These data sets were complimented by a more recent IP gradient survey conducted by Quantec Geoscience in 2003. The Company added to this a detailed magnetic gradient survey by Aeroquest Ltd. of the entire SaraCourt Property, as well as detailed IP surveys by Abitibi Geophysics over the Michelle and Krista Zones.

Regional prospecting guided by a new detailed airborne magnetic survey have identified new zones of gold mineralization that will require additional evaluation to firmly establish the widespread prospectively of Red Pine's extensive land holdings.

Zones Proximal to the DZ3 Corridor Returning Gold Values

Based on the geophysical interpretation, new anomalous areas were identified and a limited number have been prospected at the time of this release. Of interest is that zones that lie proximal to the DZ3 have returned excellent gold values.

At the western limit of the DZ3 3 grab samples over the geophysical anomaly returned gold values of 10.9-33.7 g/t. In the centre of the DZ3 - south of the Michelle Zone returned gold values of 1.0-11 g/t gold.

A northwest trending splay was also identified as an anomaly of interest. It is situated in the north/centre of the SaraCourt Property. The grab sample from this anomaly returned values of 3.86 g/t gold.

In all new anomalous areas the geology has been identified as favorable to hosting gold. The numerous other geophysical targets will continue to be followed up on with prospecting, trenching and sampling. The most interesting will be prioritized for future drilling.

Michelle Zone

A digital database is being constructed utilizing historic Dome Mines and Greenshields exploration data. Drill collar locations have been ground-truthed generating new prospective target areas. Outcrop hydro-washing directed by the geophysical program as well as historic information has identified additional highly prospective zones that are currently being evaluated.

Drilling to date has indicated numerous extensive shear vein systems that are open along strike and at depth. Mineralization is hosted in local brittle hosts (crystal tuff, altered basalts and porphyry dykes) within carbonated, silicified and pyritized shear envelopes. To date the crystal tuff horizons appear to host higher grade mineralization.

Krista Zone - Strike Length Doubles

Detailed geological mapping, outcrop hydro-washing and cross-sections are being completed for Red Pine's first phase of drilling on the Krista Zone, located 2 kilometers north of the Michelle Zone. This work has established that the Krista Zone is another strike-extensive shear-vein system. Historical drilling by Dome Mines and Greenshields indicates a minimum strike length of mineralization of 300 meters, as well as being open along strike and to depth.

The Krista Zone has now been exposed and mapped over a distance greater than 600 metres. The geophysical signature associated with the Krista Zone indicates a strike length exceeding one kilometer.

As an example of an historical mineralized interval, Greenshields hole G04-16 returned values of 4.24 grams Au over 3.65 meters(i). Chip sampling surveys have established strike continuity to mineralization.

The drilling results announced in Red Pine's October 21, 2010 press release were successful in determining the dip and azimuth of a mineralized zone, which is open along strike and at depth. Drill Program

Next Phase of Drilling Underway on Red Pine Exploration's SaraCourt Property in Swayze Greenstone Belt, Near Timmins

Red Pine Exploration Inc. ("Red Pine" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: RPX) announces that it has commenced its next phase of drilling on the SaraCourt Property, located in the Swayze Greenstone Belt, southwest of Timmins.

Drilling will consist of 8 to 12 holes and is being focused on two of the multiple gold-bearing zones identified to date on the SaraCourt Property - the Michelle Zone and the Krista Zone. Drilling is expected to carry on through to mid December. The Krista Zone will be drilled first as the Company awaits a geophysical interpretation on the Michelle Zone. A map of the SaraCourt Property showing the location of the zones can be found on the Company's website at www.redpineexp.com.

The positive results from the previous drill program (as detailed in Red Pine's Oct 21, 2010 press release) show early evidence that the Michelle Zone is part of a large, multi-zoned, regional gold system, and identified the Krista Zone as one of the several new and emerging gold zones within the SaraCourt Property.

Both the Michelle and Krista Zones are located along the DZ3 Deformation Corridor, interpreted by RPX to be (as described in Red Pine's press release dated June 7, 2010) an extension of the Destor-Porcupine Deformation Corridor that bounds the majority of gold mines in the Timmins area.

Krista Zone

Drilling activities began on the Krista Zone, which is located 2 kilometers north of the Michelle Zone. To-date, detailed geological mapping, outcrop hydro-washing, geophysics and excavation has been completed on this zone, which has enabled Red Pine to confirm a greater than 700 metre long strike-extensive, shear-vein system. The Krista Zone remains open along strike to both the east and the west.

The first hole for this phase of exploration was completed on November 5 with RPX-10-09 being drilled to a depth of 218m. The hole intersected the intended target which consisted of a siliceous, pyritic (2 - 5%) mix of cream to beige QFP (quartz-feldspar porphyry) along with sericitic to chloritic wisps and fragments of altered mafic volcanic and a second zone of similar structure was intersected further down the hole. Both zones have the appearance of a re-healed, siliceous, pyritic shear zone. These zones are similar in characteristics found in major gold-mining camps associated with the Destor-Porcupine Corridor.

The hole has been logged to a depth of 133m and sampled at 1.0m intervals to 95.0 metres. The remainder of the hole will be sampled this week. All cut core representing 88 samples have been delivered to ALS Chemex. Assay results have been submitted on a rush basis with results expected from the first 88 samples in two weeks. Additional step-out holes are being collared to the east at 25 metres and 100 metres respectively along the same 700 metre-plus strike-length structure. Additional hole locations on the Krista Zone will be selected pending assay results.

Brian Atkinson P.Geo., and regional resident geologist for the Government of Ontario in Timmins, was on-site during the commencement of drilling with Red Pine's Vice President of Exploration, Quentin Yarie, and commented, "During my site visit to the SaraCourt Property in Newton Township, I observed varied geology, intense structural deformation, accompanying widespread hydrothermal alteration and sulphide mineralization of the rocks, the same ingredients that accompany gold mineralization in the mines of Timmins and Kirkland Lake."

Michelle Zone

Drill results to date on the Michelle Zone have confirmed numerous gold-bearing, extensive shear systems that are open along strike to the east and at depth. This current drill program will focus on additional drill holes further to the east and at greater depths. The exact location of these drill holes will be aided by an interpretation of the MMR results.

Red Pine to Commence Exploration Program on Saracourt Property

TORONTO, ON, April 20, 2011 - Red Pine Exploration Inc. (“Red Pine” or the “Company”) (TSX VENTURE:RPX) is pleased to announce the first phase of its 2011 drill program will commence in early May on the SaraCourt Property, located within the Swayze portion of the Abitibi Greenstone belt west of Timmins.

This first phase will consist of approximately 3,000 metres of diamond drilling, targeting two gold zones on the SaraCourt Property: the Mortimer and Michelle gold zones. In addition, Red Pine will conduct mechanical trenching to expose bedrock on a newly identified porphyry target, called the Maya Zone. This zone is situated south of the Michelle Zone where grab samples have returned gold values of 23.32 g/t, 15.09 g/t, and 21.95g/t*. (*This information is historical in nature and not 43-101 compliant and therefore should not be relied upon. The information was taken from a summary report on the exploration program for January 1985 - Coppell, Newton, and Dale Townships by David S. Hunt).
Previous Exploration Highlights

The highlights of the 2010 exploration program include drill results on the Michelle Zone of 4.05 g/t over 35 metres (RPX10-02), 2.65 g/t over 40 m (RPX10-08), 2.31 g/t over 6 m, 3.26 g/t over 4 m, 2.84 g/t over 4.4 metres, and 1.12 g/t over 12 metres from mineralized porphyry dykes. Details are in the press release dated October 21, 2010.

On the Mortimer Zone, channel sampling returned 23.74 g/t gold over 12 metres, including 54.98 g/t gold over 5 metres as detailed in the March 16, 2010 press release.

The SaraCourt Property is situated within the revitalized Swayze Greenstone Belt as demonstrated by the recent exploration success in the area west of Timmins by Trelawney Mining to the south east and by Probe Mines to the west of the Red Pine project.
2011 Program Undergoes Full Technical Analysis

The Company’s technical advisors have outlined a significant exploration program for 2011 that is the result of a focused analysis from a combination of geologic, geochemical and geophysical data within highly prospective areas of the property. The technical team consists of Hadyn Butler, P.Geo., Dr. James Franklin, Ph.D., P.Geo., Dr. Jean-Philippe Desrochers Ph.D., P.Geo., and geophysicist Martin St. Pierre. Assisting these technical advisors will be the Company’s Senior Geologist, Myles Johnson.

Drilling will focus on the following zones:
Mortimer Zone Targeted for Immediate Drilling

* Six gold targets at Mortimer selected – planned to drill 6-8 holes totalling 2,000 metres
* Updated structural interpretation completed by technical team
* Magnetic and IP anomalies coincide with the nearby and past-producing Kenty Mine – grab samples along this trend have returned results from >6 g/t to 90 g/t gold suggesting that the geophysical trends represent an extension of the gold mineralization present at the Kenty Mine
* Drill targets will focus on these IP anomalies that occur at favourable locations based on the structural interpretation
* The Kenty mine is characterized by gold bearing veins hosted in an easterly-trending gabbro intrusive; Geophysical interpretation of a fold (structural trap) is interpreted to exist east of the Kenty Mine
* Crites Drilling of Connaught, ON has been contracted to complete the drill program

Michelle Zone Scheduled for Drilling following Mortimer work Program

* Three gold targets at Michelle selected for drilling immediately following the completion of drilling on the Mortimer zone - planned to drill 3-5 holes totalling 1,000 metres
* Hole to hole IP/resistivity survey, completed by Abitibi Geophysics, has identified two new targets in the northern region of the Michelle zone
* Primary new target from the down hole IP survey is a chargeability target located along the down dip extension of the gold bearing zone intersected by RPX10-02 (7.4 g/t gold over 14.42m including 15.72 g/t gold over 3m)
* The chargeability anomaly likely represents a higher concentration of pyrite which may host a significant zone of gold mineralization

Maya Zone - A newly identified large and unexplored Porphyry target for Prospecting and Trenching

* The Maya Zone has been identified by a team of geologists from the Geological Survey of Canada and the Ontario Geological Survey as a large quartz feldspar porphyry intrusive
* The airborne geophysical data supports this interpretation with a magnetic low area measuring over 1 km square
* The larger gold deposits within Timmins Gold Camp are associated and proximal to similar felsic porphyries
* A large boulder field lies within this area where felsic volcanic rock units have been intruded by quartz feldspar porphyry
* Anomalous gold values from grab samples of 23.32 g/t, 15.09 g/t and 21.95g/t were reported by Placer Dome hosted within felsic volcanic boulders* (*This information is historical in nature and not 43-101 compliant and therefore should not be relied upon. The information was taken from a summary report on the exploration program for January 1985 - Coppell, Newton, and Dale Townships by David S. Hunt).
* An interpretation of a 1980’s IP survey being completed
* Prospecting of the zone to commence after breakup
* Trenching program planned for late spring

Property Holdings

The company has assembled a land package with a number of opportunities to host large gold bearing systems:

* SaraCourt
o Michelle/Michelle Extension – tightly folded gold bearing porphyry dykes (7.76 g/t Au over 15.42 metres, including 17.71 g/t Au over 3 metres; see Press Release dated October 21, 2010)
o Krista Zone – elevated gold hosted in a stacked shear system (4.71 g/t over 1.1 metre and 5.5 g/t over 1.0 metre); see Press Release dated February 8, 2011)
o Maya Zone – previously identified large porphyry system on strike with the Rundle Mine
o Mortimer – gold bearing shear system adjacent to the Kenty Mine
* Ava-Claire – newly staked property on strike with the “Borden Lake” discovery by Probe Mines

SaraCourt Property - Michelle Zone Update

As stated in the April 20, 2011 Press Release, drilling will commence on the Michelle Zone following the completion of drilling on the Mortimer Zone of the SaraCourt Property.

A hole-to-hole IP/Resistivity survey, completed in February 2011 by Abitibi Geophysics, has identified two new targets, lying between 100 and 200 metres below the surface, to be followed up with drilling in the northern region of the Michelle Zone.

The primary target of interest from the hole-to-hole IP/Resistivity survey is a chargeability anomaly which lies at a vertical depth of 150 metres in an area which has yet to be drill tested. This target is located along the down dip extension of the gold-bearing zone discovered by Red Pine Exploration with drill hole RPX10-02 (7.76 g/t Au over 15.42 metres, including 17.71 g/t Au over 3 metres; see Press Release dated October 21, 2010).
Ava-Claire Property

With the recent acquisition of the Ontario Government public-domain magnetic data, a new geological and geophysical interpretation was completed by Haydn Butler, P.Geo. This new interpretation has resulted in the identification of large-scale geologic structure(s) that the Company’s consultants believe have high gold potential, with a structural model comparable to the >3,000,000 ounce Tropicana gold discovery in Western Australia.

The interpretation of these newly identified large-scale geologic structures also resembles the sediment type deposit of Probe Mines "Borden Lake Property" (see Probe Mines Press Release dated November 2, 2010 for more details). This previously unidentified structure has been staked as the Ava-Claire Property. Ava-Claire is 470 claim units – or 7,526 hectares in size.
Butler-Yarie Property

The Company's new geological and geophysical interpretation has also identified as a previously unknown greenstone belt within the Kapuskasing structural zone, which has been staked as the Butler-Yarie property. The Company's consultants also believe this area to be highly prospective for gold mineralization, resembling the Abitibi-Wawa mesothermal gold deposit model. The land position consists of 87 claim units representing 1,386 hectares.

A recently completed VTEMplus (Geotech) Airborne survey (March, 2011) has identified a conductive trend, along a high intensity magnetic feature with an east-west strike length of 5 kilometres, which the Company believes may represent metallic sulphide mineralization. The Company will explore the conductor with an aggressive prospecting program that will begin immediately after winter breakup.

During the staking process of the Butler-Yarie property a number of grab samples were taken to identify the host rock materials. Along the structure identified by both the magnetic and EM it was noted that the host rocks were not the gneisses typical of the Kapuskasing structure but greenstone with trace sulphides.
