Bravo’s exploration activities are focused within North America,
specifically in N.W. British Columbia, Nevada, and S.E. Alaska. The
VMS/ Epithermal gold/silver
Homestake Ridge project in
British Columbia is advancing with excellent drill results from the
2008, 42-hole, 8,400 metre drill program and a 2006 NI43-101
compliant technical evaluation which reported an inferred resource
of 900,000 oz/gold. The company recently completed a $6.2 MM
financing and
has now started a summer drill program consisting
of + 40 drill hole for approx. 8,500 metres that will continue
to demonstrate the continuity of mineralization that remains open
down dip and along strike to the southeast and northwest. The
Woewodski Island prospect in S.E. Alaska is a precious-metal
rich VMS target, which lies within a mineralized trend that hosts
both the Greens Creek and Windy Craggy VMS.
A three hole drill
program of 862 metres has been completed with assays pending.
As well the company has acquired a substantial land package
consisting of twelve properties located in the Battle
Mountain/Eureka trend, Nevada.
Homestake Ridge Seite:
2009 Drill Program
A multi-rig +$5.0 million drilling program consisting of
approximately 8,500 metres in up to 40 drill holes is underway. One
drill has started testing the vertical and lateral extensions of
high-grade mineralization encountered in drill hole HR08-87 (52.5
metres grading 21.0g/t Au and 11.6g/t Ag including 7.7 metres of
181.6g/t Au) to explore for possible bonanza-grade feeder faults
beneath the known stratabound mineralization. A second drill is
testing the extensions of known intercepts of mineralization to the
NW of the Main Homestake zone. Bravo anticipates an approximate
70-day field season, which should conclude in October.
As well, a 630 line-kilometre AeroTEM III airborne geophysical
survey of the property is will be completed shortly and mapping
crews have started surface follow-up on the newly identified
geophysical targets and trends. The survey, flown on 50 metre line
spacing, will provide detailed magnetic, EM and radiometric
information on the property and will be used to identify trends and
offsets of the main mineralized trends and other targets on the
property.
