ABG war durch seine Tochterfirmen auch in der Nukleartechnik
aktiv und hat bei vielen AKW Projekten (CN) mit qualifizierten und
zertifizierten Mitarbeitern weltweit wichtige Komponenten gefertig,
Sicherheitstechnik geliefert, und Wartungsarbeiten ausgeführt, wie
man in der Auflistung sieht.

Supply of special cables pursuant to IEEE 383 and 323.
Current Situation
In spite of the significant decline in recent years in the
construction of nuclear power plants worldwide, which has affected
all the activities in the sector considerably, Inabensa continues
to maintain a highly specialized technical team and the
corresponding homologations and this has enabled it to continue to
offer, uninterruptedly, global solutions for the supply of safety
and standard equipment such as medium voltage cabinets, control
panels and consoles, motor control centers (MCC), power and
distribution boards, bar ducts, and all types of auxiliary panels,
battery chargers, etc.
Inabensa currently has a Quality Assurance System implemented
according to standards Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA)-1:1994,
10CRF50 Appendix B, UNE 73401:1995, ANSI standards and ASME Codes,
which is audited periodically for homologation purposes and
accreditation as a provider of nuclear suitable equipment, both
safety (Class 1E) and commercial, from General Electric Nuclear
Energy (GENE) and the Group of Proprietors of Spanish Nuclear Power
Plants.
Of note among the company’s references in the nuclear sector over
the last three years are the following supplies and works:
Trillo Nuclear Power Plant (NPP)
Substitution of head breaker on two protection and one emergency
bars.
Electric supply panels.
Annual inspection during the recharging of bars and associated 10
kV, 660 V 380/ 220 V equipment, with the participation of a team
with more than 25 members.
Disassembly, installation and testing of battery ducts.
Supply of spares (MCC skips, relays, cable, thermocouples,
contactors, etc.).
Almaraz NPP:
Supply of two consoles for the control room.
Supply of a control panel for tests.
Labor for inspection purposes.
Inspection of grouped phase bar ducts.
Supply of three 6.3 kV cells.
Supply and installation of grouped phase bar ducts for connection
of a new start-up transformer.
Vandellós II NPP:
Supply of 88 MCC skids ((Class 1E) and spare parts.
Ascó-Vandellós NPPs:
Spares (SD skids, grounding clips, backup insulators, extraction
spindles, contactors, connectors, etc.
GENE ABWR type NPP:
Main Control Room Panels (simulator, units 1 and 2).
Remote Shutdown Panels (simulator, units 1 and 2).
FMCRD Relay Logic Panels (units 1 and 2).
Scram Solenoid Fuse Panels (units 1 and 2).
Single HCU Scram Test Panels (units 1 and 2).
Balance of Plan Liquid Sampling and Analysis Systems (units 1 and
2).
Meteorological Control Panels.
Numac Panels (Fiber Optic Panels, ATIP & MRBM Panels, PRM
Panels, RCIS Panels units 1 and 2).
NMS Panels (Neutron Monitoring Systems Panels units 1 and 2).
Prototypes of these panels have been subjected to short-circuit,
heating limit verification and seismic tests in authorized
laboratories pursuant to IEEE-323 and IEEE-344 standards.
In addition, the company is present in different nuclear energy
related national and international forums such as the Spanish
Fusion Platform, Project ITER, and is participating in the
“Supplier Workshop” (organized by GENE to collaborate in the
development of a new simplified ESBWR reactor), etc.
