Melkior-Santoy Announce Resumption of Drilling and Exploration Activities at Otish Uranium Project, Quebec

OTTAWA, ONTARIO, Jun 04, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

Melkior Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: MKR) and its Joint venture partner Santoy Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: SAN) (the "Companies") reported today that normal exploration operations have resumed on their joint Otish Mountain uranium exploration project in northern Quebec following the tragic helicopter accident reported on May 29, 2007. The Companies would especially like to thank the Ashton exploration crew (Stornoway Diamond Corp.) at the Lagopede camp for their assistance during this incident.

Field staff and drilling crews have been re-mobilized to the area and all planned exploration activities are once again underway. The current drilling is focusing on the immediate area of the Marc-Andre uranium occurrence and two core holes, of the planned ten hole program, have been completed.

Elsewhere in the joint exploration area, field crews will continue to evaluate new target areas and results will be reported when available.
