Schon. Aber die Masse an (teils sehr) kranken Menschen, die von Stevia *sofort* profitieren würde, ist mächtiger, ist "nur" eine Frage der Zeit. Dazu werden jede Menge Mediziner für eine Zulassung plädieren und Druck machen.

Interessant ist ja dass es bis dato eine (einzige?) Studie gab (von Monsanto finanziert, wenn ich richtig informiert bin) und gibt, in der die Menge, die Ratten ab Stevia zugeführt wurde, auf 'Mensch umgerechnet', ca. 40 kg (!) entspricht (die Hälfte des Körpergewichtes eines Menschen). Und diese Ratten wurde dann unfruchtbar... und dieser unfassbare Versucht wird als Argument gegen Stevia verwendet.
