Good evening Peter
According to old documents - How far off are these estimates from
Conoco to your current findings from Shabeel 1.
According to a 1991 source document, which Range retrieved in 2005,
the area which had been analysed by Conoco was deemed to hold 250
million bbl of recoverable reserves in the Jesomma upper Cretaceous
sandstone reservoir and 270 million bbl in the Gabredarre Upper
Jurassic sandstone reservoirs. In addition, the three layers of
Gumborro totalled 87 million bbl. But now we have the bonus layer
of 12-20meters
Also for your infomation, there are many rumours about Shabeel 1
being a duster, Myself find it very hard to believe but i want to
ask you and i know how you have to be very carefull on how you
would answer these questions.
Kind regards
Matthew Bennett

So what is he saying that we are going to have simlar results to
YEMEN......
Not only slide 3. PL said to me take notice of slide 24
Did anyone notice on slide 24 --- " WELL RESULTS"
--- Oil shows in the cretaceous sandstones--- We know about the
shows
--- Gross Section :150m ~490ft -- This is what is interesting are
they are saying they have an oil bearing coloum of 150 METERS -- If
so the final RNS will be fantastic
---12-20m possible net pay(mud and logs) --- Needing further
testing due to wireline testing failed-- I know why it has failed
now-- They are getting high pressure interference from other zones
in the well.
---shows in deeper sandstones ( drilling)--- More zones now lets
take a look at YEMEN........
