wenn ich irgend einen Zweifel bezüglich PRB hatte, dann ist er gestern verflogen. PRB kletterte tagsüber auf 0.89 und es war teilweise kein Angebot im Ask. Doch knapp vor Handelsschluß wirft ein einzelner Verkäufer kleinere Mengen shares weg und drückt den Preis auf 0.76 ... wenn unsereins im Laufe der Jahre nicht schon öfters Ähnliches beobachtet hätte. Ein untrügliches Zeichen für einen anstehenden up-move.
NOT, BMK, UC und andere stehen bei mir am RoF-Lottoschein. Bei KWG weiß man nicht recht, ob sie an der langen Leine oder im Cliffs-Käfig eingesperrt ist.
Bleiben Cliffs und Probe als "Bank".
Bei Probe hoffen die Aktionäre auf baldige Zahlung der 5% net smelter-Tantiemen vom Goldex deposit durch die Minenfirma Agnico-Eagle. Seit 2008 in Betrieb. Geschätzte Produktion von 170.000 Unzen im Jahr. Wären ungefähr $ 10 Mio Tantiemen pro Jahr für Probe!

Den Zank um die properties in der Nachbarschaft zu LSG habe ich noch nicht völlig durchschaut, scheint den Probe-Kurs nicht zu belasten.
Ich wäre zufrieden, wenn wir die Eins vorm Komma bald schaffen würden. Und sehr zufrieden wäre ich mit einer Zwei. Aber die Postings in Kanada hypen bereits über Drei. Und ich las schon von $ 8.- per share.

Mich wundert die geringe Aufmerksamkeit, die Probe hier erfährt.
Und das als RoF-player, die doch quasi alle irgendwie bekannt sind.
Erst der Anstieg im August aus den 30ern in die 70er cent range,
dann Konsolidierung in die 50er,
und nun diese Woche der Ausbruch in die 80er !

Deutlich spricht CEO Palmer vom Verbindungsstück zwischen "Black Thor and Big Daddy deposits" und Cliffs sollte kaufen und auf dem Probegrundstück mit dem Buddeln anfangen: "... would be a likely candidate for open-pit extraction."

The Directors of Probe Mines Limited (TSX VENTURE:PRB) ("Probe") are pleased to announce that the Company has completed a ten-hole, 2,958 metre, drilling program on the Black Creek chromite deposit in the Ring of Fire area, James Bay Lowlands, Ontario. The drilling program was successful in extending the Black Creek chromite zone approximately 115 metres along strike (from 200 metres to 315 metres) and to a vertical depth of approximately 320 metres (from 175 metres), representing increases of 58% in length and 83% in depth from previous drilling.
The chromite horizon appears very similar to that observed in previous programs, ranging in width (not true width) from 21 to 44.1 metres, and being comprised predominantly of massive chromite with minor inter-layers of semi-massive and disseminated chromite. Importantly, the drilling indicates the chromite zone is near-vertically dipping at depth, suggesting the majority of the deposit remains within Probe's property. In addition, one drill hole intersected the chromite horizon under less than 4 metres of overburden, confirming that the horizon does project to the bedrock surface and would be a likely candidate for open-pit extraction.
Core samples from all chromite zones have been sent to Actlabs in Thunder Bay and the assay results, when received, will be used to update the recent 43-101-compliant preliminary chromite resource estimate prepared by Micon International (see release dated August 23, 2010). The Black Creek deposit currently contains an estimated 5,714,000 tonnes averaging 40.00% Cr2O3 in the measured and indicated categories and an additional 2,726,000 tonnes averaging 40.99% Cr2O3 in the inferred category. Black Creek is a high-grade chromite deposit strategically located between the Black Thor and Big Daddy chromite deposits and represents a key segment of the chromite horizon.
Of the ten holes drilled, six successfully intersected the Black Creek horizon, three holes were lost due to poor ground conditions and one hole failed to intersect chromite mineralization. The latter hole was drilled to re-test the chromite zone at depth in the area where two holes were lost. The six holes which intersected chromite significantly increased the drill-indicated mineralization along strike and at depth.
The chromite mineralization was traced to both of Probe's boundaries and is expected to continue into Cliffs Natural Resources' property to the northeast and the KWG Resources-Spider Resources-Cliffs Natural Resources claim to the southwest, which host the Black Thor and Big Daddy deposits, respectively. "The third phase drilling program on Black Creek has accomplished what we set out to do. We have extended the deposit along strike by more than 50% and almost doubled the depth from previous drilling", says Dr. David Palmer, President of Probe. "Once assay results are received we will focus on updating the initial 43-101 chromite resource estimate, which should increase significantly based on the visual results from this drilling."

Danach 12 mio/t? Was ist das wert? Die Schätzungen, was die RoF-Gebiete Probes für Cliffs wert sein könnten, erstrecken sich von 50 bis 300 Millionen.
Ich für mich gehe von $ 100 mio aus. Das halte ich für realistisch. Die MK von Probe ist heute 24 Mio., da ist genug blue-sky-Potential vorhanden.
Und CEO Palmer scheint überhaupt einer der seriösesten CEOs im RoF zu sein. Für mich ein guter Grund, mehr PRB zu kaufen, bzw. zu Probe umzuschichten.

Nachdem Cliffs gestern seine Kriegskasse mit 1 Milliarde gefüllt hat, ist wohl wirklich demnächst mit nem Angebot für unsere Probeaktien zu rechnen.
@ Fantomas: So wie ich die News über die "Poison Pill" von Probe verstehe, tritt der Shareholderplan erst nach Genehmigung auf der HV Mitte Oktober in Kraft. Nur wer bis zum 16. August Anteile gekauft hat, kann mit jenen Aktien davon profitieren!?

Nachdem Cliffs gestern seine Kriegskasse mit 1 Milliarde gefüllt hat, ist wohl wirklich demnächst mit nem Angebot für unsere Probeaktien zu rechnen.
@ Fantomas: So wie ich die News über die "Poison Pill" von Probe verstehe, tritt der Shareholderplan erst nach Genehmigung auf der HV Mitte Oktober in Kraft. Nur wer bis zum 16. August Anteile gekauft hat, kann mit jenen Aktien davon profitieren!?

(TSX-V: PRB) ("Probe") are pleased to announce that the Company has
received geochemical results from its first-phase drilling property on
the Cree Lake Project, currently under option from Mantis Mineral Corp
(CNSX: MYN) ("Mantis"), in the Swayze Belt of Northeastern Ontario. A
total of six holes were drilled testing Mantis' 2009 gold discovery,
comprising a thick (15.5m), near surface, gold zone averaging 2.05 g/t
Au, at depth and along approximately 150 metres of strike length. All
holes intersected numerous, narrower, zones of gold mineralization
grading up to 8 g/t Au, while Hole CL10-11 returned a five (5) metre
section grading 2.3 g/t Au. Hole CL10-12 also tested the historical
Flintrock showing and returned a one (1) metre intersection grading 24
g/t Au.
The program was successful in identifying numerous gold zones on the
property and provided considerable geological information. Although no
thick zones of mineralization were intersected in this program, the
structural data obtained from this program is now being used to
re-interpret the Mantis Zone and determine its probable orientation.
Owing to the widespread occurrences of gold, and a reinterpretation of
the Mantis Zone, the Company is now considering a second-phase program
once a full evaluation of the results has been completed.
Probe is currently earning up to a 70% interest in the Cree Lake
property from Mantis. The Mantis occurrence represents a new gold
discovery in the Swayze Belt represented by a quartz stockwork system
carrying significant gold values along substantial drill hole widths.
The zone comes to surface and represents excellent open-pit potential
for a gold deposit of the high tonnage, low-grade type. The property
is situated along the Ridout deformation zone, a 130-kilometer long
structure that hosts past producers such as the Jerome, Tyrranite and
Kenty Mines, as well as numerous gold showings. The area has received
recent attention with the identification of thick intervals of gold
mineralization by Trelawney Mining on its Chester Gold Project, located
approximately 60 kilometres southeast along strike in the Swayze Belt.
