Fakt ist, dass ich diesen Bauxitwert gefunden habe, noch bevor er in Australien an die Börse kam und ich habe dazu beigetragen, über diese Bergbaufima auch in Deutschland zu informieren.

Habe zwar immer überlegt wieder reinzugehen aber ehrlich gesagt ich weiss nicht einmal was mich davon abgehalten hat. Im Nachhinein natürlich glücklicherweise.
Vorsicht der jensdab promotet diese Aktie. Dann wird das ja wie bei Cityview ausgehen.

CLARIFICATION OF 16 January 2009 RELEASE ON JORC RESOURCES
Bauxite Resources Ltd (BRL or the “company” ASX code “BAU”) has been advised by ASX that it has received a complaint regarding its announcement dated 16 January 2009 concerning its maiden JORC Compliant Resource of 18.2 million tonnes. A copy of that earlier announcement is attached.
BRL has responded to the ASX query and confirmed that it was and is still satisfied that the announcement dated 16 January 2009 is accurate and properly informs investors and complies with the continuous disclosure rules of ASX. In discussions with the ASX the company acknowledged that there is a well funded campaign against the company. Notwithstanding this, BRL believes that is has at all times complied with its continuous disclosure obligations. The company has voluntarily agreed to outline the substance of the issues raised and its response to the ASX.
The core of the issues raised with ASX via complaint concerning the announcement dated 16 January 2009 are as follows:
1. Applications for mining tenements on private land would only allow BAU to secure rights below 30m from the surface but do not allow access or rights in the top 30m.
2. Bauxite occurs as a surface enrichment.
In the release dated 16 January 2009 the BRL board of directors believed they had considered all relevant issues associated with the reported resource estimate, including access to surface rights on the applicable tenements and tenement applications. At the time of the January 2009 announcement, the board of directors of the Company held a reasonable expectation that the Company would gain access to surface rights on private land the subject of the resource estimate, by in due course obtaining the consent of the owner and occupier of private land for the surface rights to those tenements (to the extent required).
We note, in any event, that the resource estimate was made on an ‘inferred’ basis which is the lowest category of the JORC Code and does not require consideration to be given to potential modifying factors as per paragraph 11 of the JORC Code.
In relation to the actual or potential constraint associated with access to the top 30 metres of private property, BRL can now report that in its current areas of interest comprising areas both inside and outside the areas which were the subject of the original announcement, where it has sought formal agreement to explore private land it has been able to put in place exploration agreements for 82 properties.

BAUXITE RESOURCES TO APPEAL REGULATOR’S DECISION ON DISPROPORTIONATE LEVEL OF ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT FOR 6 MONTH MINING PROJECT
The Board of Bauxite Resources Ltd (BRL or The Company) (ASX: BAU) advises that in December 2009 it referred to the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) for assessment its proposal to mine 1.2 million tonnes of bauxite on private farm land north of Bindoon, Western Australia, over a six month period from July 2010 (The Referral - Mining Operations - Stephens Rd Bindoon). This had followed the company's recent successful direct shipping of 120,000 tonnes of bauxite to China.
On Monday 29 March 2010, BRL received formal notification that the EPA has set the level of assessment on The Referral as a Public Environmental Review (PER) (EPA decision). The BRL board has taken advice, considered its options, and decided to appeal the EPA decision.
The Board considers the decision is irregular and disproportionate and that there are strong grounds to seek a review of the EPA decision. In particular the EPA decision appears to have been taken on the basis of BRL's potential future projects, rather than by reference to the relatively small scale minimal impact mining project referred to the EPA for consideration (23 hectares on parkland style farmland).
Mining at Stephens Rd, north of Bindoon would involve a low impact mining operation with shallow open pits (averaging 4 metres in depth), free digging with an excavator, with no blasting required. Upon completion of mining, the site would quickly be fully rehabilitated back to farmland pasture before the next growing season.
Mine to port transport impacts would be minimised by transporting the bauxite to the nearest railway siding for transport by rail to Kwinana Port, rather than road freighting ore direct to the port.
BRL made the mining proposal with the full support of the private landowner and has consulted extensively with other local landowners, community, infrastructure providers and other key stakeholders about this proposal. BRL has completed the interview process for the appointment of the 30 local people who would be employed at the company's operations and awarded major contracts to local suppliers, subject to mining commencing.
Commenting on the decision, Dan Tenardi, BRL Managing Director said:
"If this decision to set the level of assessment based on future aspirations is allowed to stand, it would put in jeopardy the timing of numerous resource development projects in Western Australia. It would certainly undermine confidence in the regulatory system".
"If new projects are assessed at such a high level on the basis of potential future expansion plans not currently before the EPA, industry would be looking at approvals taking an average of 2.4 years for every proposal referred. Such an approach would unacceptably constrain and burden the entire resources industry - it would cause unnecessary delays and increase the costs of obtaining primary environmental approvals in WA".

This level of assessment would require BRL to prepare an environmental scoping document, then a Public Environmental Review document. BAUXITE RESOURCES TO APPEAL REGULATOR’S DECISION ON DISPROPORTIONATE LEVEL OF ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT FOR 6 MONTH MINING PROJECT
The Board of Bauxite Resources Ltd (BRL or The Company) (ASX: BAU) advises that in December 2009 it referred to the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) for assessment its proposal to mine 1.2 million tonnes of bauxite on private farm land north of Bindoon, Western Australia, over a six month period from July 2010 (The Referral - Mining Operations - Stephens Rd Bindoon). This had followed the company's recent successful direct shipping of 120,000 tonnes of bauxite to China.
On Monday 29 March 2010, BRL received formal notification that the EPA has set the level of assessment on The Referral as a Public Environmental Review (PER) (EPA decision). The BRL board has taken advice, considered its options, and decided to appeal the EPA decision.
The Board considers the decision is irregular and disproportionate and that there are strong grounds to seek a review of the EPA decision. In particular the EPA decision appears to have been taken on the basis of BRL's potential future projects, rather than by reference to the relatively small scale minimal impact mining project referred to the EPA for consideration (23 hectares on parkland style farmland).
Mining at Stephens Rd, north of Bindoon would involve a low impact mining operation with shallow open pits (averaging 4 metres in depth), free digging with an excavator, with no blasting required. Upon completion of mining, the site would quickly be fully rehabilitated back to farmland pasture before the next growing season.
Mine to port transport impacts would be minimised by transporting the bauxite to the nearest railway siding for transport by rail to Kwinana Port, rather than road freighting ore direct to the port.
BRL made the mining proposal with the full support of the private landowner and has consulted extensively with other local landowners, community, infrastructure providers and other key stakeholders about this proposal. BRL has completed the interview process for the appointment of the 30 local people who would be employed at the company's operations and awarded major contracts to local suppliers, subject to mining commencing.
Commenting on the decision, Dan Tenardi, BRL Managing Director said:
"If this decision to set the level of assessment based on future aspirations is allowed to stand, it would put in jeopardy the timing of numerous resource development projects in Western Australia. It would certainly undermine confidence in the regulatory system".
"If new projects are assessed at such a high level on the basis of potential future expansion plans not currently before the EPA, industry would be looking at approvals taking an average of 2.4 years for every proposal referred. Such an approach would unacceptably constrain and burden the entire resources industry - it would cause unnecessary delays and increase the costs of obtaining primary environmental approvals in WA".

A fledgling bauxite mine near Bindoon, north of Perth, which has aroused community concerns about dangerous truck movements and dust and noise pollution, will be reviewed by the Environmental Protection Authority under its highest possible level of scrutiny.
Managing director of Bauxite Resources Daniel Tenardi yesterday described the move as a shock and said the company was being assessed unfairly on "potential future operations" than its current small site.
He said the firm, which is in a trading halt on the Australian Securities Exchange and is still to receive formal EPA notification to be published today, was investigating its legal options.
Bauxite Resources recently signed an agreement with a Chinese company to deliver up to 120,000 tonnes of ore by the end of the year, which will be potentially affected by the outcome of the six-week review.
Mr Tenardi took a swipe at a campaign being mounted by "people in the Western suburbs" rather than the Chittering community, which he said supported the project.
However Derek Gascoine, co-convenor of local group Residents for Responsible Mining said it was important that the cumulative impacts of large-scale, low-margin bauxite mining in the Darling Scarp were properly assessed and understood.
The company is currently trucking ore from its 23 hectare site by road to a rail siding in the district.
It has further plans to expand its operations including a possible smelter, but this is not believed to be part of the review.
