"GREENLAND MINERALS AND ENERGY LIMITED (previously "The Gold Company Limited") has acquired through a Joint Venture an option to acquire up to 100% of the Kvanefjeld Project.

The Company will acquire an initial 61% stake, (with options to go to 100%), in what the Company considers being one of the most exciting multi-element deposits in the world.

The KVANEFJELD PROJECT, ("the project") is located on the south west tip of Greenland and is one of the largest undeveloped multi-element occurrences of Uranium and Rare Earth Oxides (REO) in the world."


"Kvanefjeld uranium (Greenland):

The project area is located on the SW tip of Greenland and is
recognized as one of the largest undeveloped multielement occurrences of uranium and rare earth
oxides in the world. Previous exploration by the Danish Atomic Energy Agency and the Danish
Geological Survey completed over 11,500m of diamond drilling between 1957 and 1983 and defined
an in-situ resource of 126mt @ 0.04% U3O8 (1km2 area). Other potentially economic minerals include
rare earths, tantalum, lithium and beryllium. Additional historical work completed includes over 1km of
adits and metallurgical test work. The deposit is relatively flat lying, disseminated mineralization up to
100m thick. It is open at depth and in three directions and accounts for around 10% of the prospective
host rock. Two other proximal high priority targets are scheduled for drilling 3Q07. The exploration
program for 2007-08 (focused on 3km x 3km area) has commenced and involves completion of up to
10,000m of diamond drilling for resource definition, 3,500 line km of detailed helicopter radiometric and
magnetic surveys, spectral re-assay of old drill holes, digital geological mapping and up to 2,000m of
regional exploration drilling. An incremental resource statement is expected 1Q08 with potential for
upside to exceed 50% plus new regional discoveries. A pre-feasibility could commence 2Q08.
GGG indicates historical metallurgical work demonstrated recoveries of 70% to 90% using pressure
alkali leach - good recoveries though may be expensive. Results are not verified and access to historic
records held by the Danish government are expected during 2007. Further metallurgical test work is
scheduled 4Q07. The scale of potential production (open cut) is in the order of 3,000t U3O8pa and
compares with Rossing (3,700tpa U3O8; 174kt resource @ 0.03% U3O8, 470mlbs). GGG has the rights
to acquire 100% of the project. Terms include initial 61% interest for A$3m plus 65m shares, 90% for
additional A$10m and 100% for additional A$50m at commencement of mining."
