I wanted to touch base with you in regards to the road closures.
The protests are not targeted against Petaquilla and are sponsored by the opponents of mining and the opponents of current government who are looking to stop all mining in the country. The small group of protestors who closed the road to the project do not represent the communities close to Petaquilla's operations and are looking to support bigger movements in other parts of the country. We are working on resolving the situation with the protestors within the next few days. However, as this is not a major event and, more importantly, since our operations are not materially affected, we do not intend issue a press-release.

In regards to the crusher, it is now operational, however, it is not running at full speed yet.
All the field work for the ICMI Certification is complete. The auditors have sent in the report to the ICMI in Dec 2011. The ICMI should take 60 days for further questions and for the auditors to give us the certification.
