TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 02/09/11 -- Allana Potash Corp. (TSX VENTURE: AAA) ("Allana" or "the Company"), announces that the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada ("IIROC"), the regulation services provider of the TSX Venture Exchange, has ruled that all trades in the common shares of Allana that took place between 11:26:27 a.m. and 11:31:50 a.m. on February 9, 2011 at prices below CAD $1.76 per share will be re-priced to CAD $1.76 per share. The ruling is being made by IIROC on the basis that the trades were unreasonable.

The Company remains encouraged by the success of the exploration program ongoing at its Ethiopian potash project and will continue to update investors as additional results become available.

      Guten Morgen runn64,

Great Quest is about to begin drilling on two very enticing projects either of which could send the SP into the +$5.00 range and could put GQ into the takeover candidate category very quickly.

Their 95% owned gold district is right between Avion Gold and Rand Gold both of which are pouring gold.

A couple good holes with grade and width would garner much attention and neither of these Companies would want GQ to continue drilling. Not to mention the fact that they now control an entire district.

Then there is the phosphate project which has been well researched and sampled including a remote sensing program that clearly defines multiple areas of phosphate rock on surface. It is clear that Mali is behind this project by the fact that they have supplied the scientific expertise to establish crop selection etc and i understand that thirty members of the Mali Mining Dept will be working directly on the phosphate project. Mali also imports one hundred percent of their fertilizer and it is heavily subsidized by the Malian government, so this project is a win win for the Malian Farmers and the Government.

Add to this the fact that GQ is well financed to the tune of approximately $6,000,000 in cash and tradeable securities, a fully diluted share structure of just over 40,000,000 shares, no outstanding warrants or cheap paper coming due and no debt. IMO it does not get better than this from a shareholder standpoint, two possible world class projects no share overhang and no need to dilute the shareholders!! The news flow over the next three months should be a steady stream of results from both their gold project and their phosphate project. Just one mans opinion.

      moin GS,

      erreichen.

hier - les mal folg. SH- beitrag..........

The drills on the gold property are turning as we speak and the phosphate drilling is scheduled to start next week.

Apparently they have a geological crew of 15 on the phosphate project ,following up on the remote sensing and flagging the drill holes for when the drill arrives. If you have not taken a close look at the remote sensing i would suggest it would be worth your while as it clearly defines vast on surface showings of phosphate. I would think that the crew is following up on these showings prior to the drill arriving.

This phosphate project is an entire valley of some 740 square kilometers and if they have the goods this could quickly become a world class deposit. Just one mans opinion.

Great Quest Metals Ltd.: Tilemsi Phosphate Drilling Commences

      May 11, 2011 (Marketwire Canada) --

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- Victor J.E. Jones, Chairman and CFO of Great Quest Metals Ltd. ("Great Quest" or "GQ") (TSX VENTURE:GQ)(FRANKFURT:GQM), reports that the air-core drilling program has commenced on its Tilemsi phosphate project, in Mali, West Africa. The Tilemsi concessions cover 737 km2 in the Tilemsi valley of eastern Mali in a region known for phosphate mineralization. This marks the commencement of the first phase of drilling on areas identified by company geologists, a remote sensing study and prior reconnaissance work as having the potential for phosphate mineralization. The drilling program will target several hills prospective for phosphate mineralization where exposure of the phosphate horizon is evident along their perimeters and remote sensing images. The first phase includes up to 800 shallow holes laid out on 500 m grids with the objective of providing data for a preliminary NI 43-101 report.

      Ownership increased in Tilemsi concession
The Tilemsi project is comprised of two concessions: the Tilemsi, held by a subsidiary of the Company's Malian exploration subsidiary; and the Tarkint Est, held through an agreement with a private Malian company. An agreement has just been entered into with respect to the Tilemsi concession, which includes the Tin Hina hill, which effectively increases the Company's interest from 88% to 94% in the 417 km2 Tilemsi concession. The agreement amends the respective shareholder interests in the subsidiary holding the Tilemsi concession. Under the terms of the agreement Great Quest is required to make three payments to the minority shareholder of approximately $110,000 each, with the final payment due on receipt of a permit for commercial exploitation of the Tilemsi concession. In addition, Great Quest is required to issue a 3-year non-transferrable warrant to the minority shareholder to purchase up to 50,000 common shares of Great Quest at a warrant price to be determined by Exchange regulations. The agreement is subject to approval by the Board of Directors and the TSX Venture Exchange. The agreement on the Tarkint Est concession is unchanged and provides for Great Quest to earn a 97% interest.

      Sanoukou Gold Project

On the Sanoukou project in Western Mali, the first of a 16 hole, 2500 m core drilling program has been completed and samples have been sent for assay. This initial phase of drilling on Sanoukou is targeting a large area of orpailleur workings over 1 km wide along a 6 km strike length. This drilling program was recommended from prior work (see GQ News Release dated July 29, 2010), which included trenching, geophysics, and RAB drilling by Somafim.

Some of the more noticeable intersections from that program on the Sanoukou concession include the following:
Drill Hole Intersections in Metres Grams per Tonne Gold
      RAB 33 3 4.69
      RAB 53 19 2.59
      RAB 84 3 5.02
      RAB 93 7 3.65

This initial drilling program is being carried out by PDRM, the drilling services agency of the Malian government.

Great Quest Metals Ltd.: Annual General Meeting and New Director

      May 16, 2011 (Marketwire Canada) --

Pay close attention to the share structure of GQ as they are one of the few Companies on the Venture Board with a clean share structure. No cheap warrants or overhanging financings, no need to finance and very few employee options. The problem with the venture Index right now is the majority of Companies have a huge overhang of cheap financings which include warrants. Some of these Companies have 10,000,000 plus share overhangs and the shareholders are constantly wondering why the stock is not moving. It will take time to work through these cheap financings and until they do the SP will be under pressure.

With GQ, what you see is what you get and one does not have to worry about being blindsided with cheap stock coming free trading. Since January 2010 right after they sold their gold project GQ has traded 66,428,802 shares that is one and half times the fully diluted float. Over the last eight months it has traded 22,634,892 shares at an average of $2.21 which is about fifty percent of the fully diluted shares. They have two very interesting projects and either one of these projects could lift GQ into the $300,000,000 market cap range and based on share structure we would be trading in excess of $7.00 per share. So when you ask what could GQ go to my answer would be it depends on the success of one or both of the projects they are currently drilling.

IMO both these projects have the potential to be world class projects and if i am right and one project turns out to be world class in nature GQ will be the TSX darling of 2011.

      Great Quest Accelerates Phosphate Exploration

      Great Quest Accelerates Phosphate Exploration

Victor J.E. Jones, Chairman and CFO of Great Quest Metals Ltd. (TSX
VENTURE:GQ)(FRANKFURT:GQM), is pleased to report that the Company is mobilizing
a second air-core drill to be onsite for its Tilemsi phosphate project in
Eastern Mali next week, to accelerate the exploration program. The drilling
program is targeting several hills within the 737 km(2) project area where
geological reconnaissance and remote sensing data have indicated the potential
for extensive occurrences of natural phosphate rock P2O5. The principal uses of
phosphate rock are as a direct application fertilizer and the production of
      phosphoric acid for beneficiated fertilizers.

To date over 38 drill holes have been completed on 500 m grid spacing to cover
an area of about 10 km(2) within the Alfatchafa hill target with visible
phosphate intercepts in over half of the holes. Depth to the top of the visible
phosphate horizon varies between 1-23 m and thickness varies between 0.5-2.0 m.
The thickening of the phosphate bearing bed beyond 1.0 m in some of the drill
holes has been a positive surprise. The Company has executed a new contract to
provide two drill rigs for the project which will continue initial drilling on
500 m grid spacings on the various target hills and follow up infill drilling on
250 m spacings, as planned for this 800 hole Phase 1 program. As anticipated,
estimates of the thickness of the phosphate (P2O5) horizon vary and will be
better confirmed by x-ray fluorescence analysis. Samples are being prepared in
Bamako, Mali, for onward shipment to Vancouver, BC for XRF and multi-element
      analysis.

Initial reconnaissance work in 2009 by the Company on the Alfatchafa hill
identified phosphate mineralization along the perimeter (News Release dated
August 20, 2009) with phosphate grades from 26 samples ranging from 5.11% to
33.05% P205, with an average of 24.5% P2O5. Subsequent analysis of remote
sensing data from the project area carried out earlier this year suggests
extensive apparent phosphate mineralization associated with Alfatchafa and
several of the surrounding hills. The analysis is presented on the Company's
      website at www.greatquest.com.

The Tilemsi phosphate deposits occur in a similar geological sedimentary setting
to the phosphate deposits found in Morocco and are of Eocene period. The current
program represents the first comprehensive drilling and geological program on
the Company's two phosphate concessions, Tarkint Est and Tilemsi (Tin Hina).

In Morocco, the 2nd largest exporter of phosphate rock, production comes
primarily from four main phosphorite deposits controlled by l'Office Cherifien
de Phosphates du Maroc, "OCP". OCP reports some 85,000 Mt of phosphorite
resources hosted in upper cretaceous, Paleocene and Eocene sediments. At the OCP
Benguerir mine just north of Marakesh mineable phosphate-rich beds range from 1
      m to 3 m in thickness and grade 22% to 28% P2O5.

The drilling on the Tilemsi project is continuing and further reports will be
      made as results become available.

Mbac Fertilizers has a 43101 of 33.5 million tons of 12.4% phosphate. It currently has a market cap of $280,000,000 with 87,000,000 million shares outstanding and a fully diluted share position of approximately 94,000,000. It currently trades in the $3.00 range.

Great Quest is working on a 700 square kilometer phosphate property that has yielded samples grading in the 25% to 31% range. Awaiting results on over 200 holes most of which i understand were drilled on 250 meter centers which would mean that tonnage would add up quick as phosphates occurr in beds and are very consistent.

If and I say if GQ is able to deliver the goods in terms of grade this project will have all the earmarks of a potential World Class Deposit. I understand they are planning another round of drilling for sometime in October which tells me that they must like what they see. As mentioned in an earlier post the remote sensing map clearly defines the huge number of of phosphate outcrops. . What would a 100,000,000- 200,000,000 ton deposit of high grade phosphate mean to share value?

Great Quest has 41,000,000 shares outstanding with a fully diluted position of 45,000,000. They have approximately $4,500,000 cash in the bank and cash equivilents of about $200,000. So based on MBC if GQ were to duplicate the 33 million tons and double the grade value an $8.00 share price would not be difficult to imagine.

IMO if GQ have the goods this project could surpass the 200 million ton mark ( based on remote sensing results)and this is where the number crunching gets exciting, in fact life changing numbers... Its all about the assays and IF GQ can deliver grades similar to the grab samples my guess is GQ share price will revalue almost immediately.

As always time will be the teller of all truths.. GLTA...

....nunja, die zeit wirds zeigen, was an diesem gedankenspiel dran ist

Great Quest Metals Ltd.: Phase 1 Tilemsi Phosphate Drilling Completed with Favourable Results
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(September 26, 2011) - Victor J.E. Jones, President and CFO of Great Quest Metals Ltd. ("Great Quest" or "GQ") (TSX VENTURE:GQ) (FRANKFURT:GQM), is pleased to report that the Phase I drilling campaign recently completed at the Company's Tilemsi phosphate project has confirmed the presence of high quality P2O5 phosphate mineralization, showing a strong correlation with the targets from the remote sensing study and prior reconnaissance work carried out on the concessions.

A total of 275 drill holes for 5049 meters were drilled using two contractors, covering a small portion of the company's 737 km2 project. The program was executed on 2 of the presently defined 5 target areas -- the Tin Hina (TH) and Alfatchafa (AF) hills. The highly prospective Chanameguille target was not tested in the initial round of drilling. Only some of the visually distinguishable occurrences of mineralization were sampled. At Tin Hina drill holes intersected 2 distinct horizons (seams) of phosphate mineralization. Seam "A" averaged 23.73% P2O5 present in 104 of the drill holes and averaged 1.43m thick at an average depth of 6.62 m. These holes include 4 deeper holes which intercepted a second seam which averaged 27.60% P2O5 with an average thickness of 1.75m at an average depth of 8.00m below the seam A. The lower seam may extend further but shallow drill holes would not have intercepted it. Successful drill holes cover a surface area of approximately 6.75km2 on Tin Hina.

Drilling on the Alfatchafa target identified a single seam with samples averaging 22.69% P2O5 from 72 drill holes with an average thickness of 0.90 m at an average depth of 18.75m. Successful drill holes covered an area of approximately 6.70km2 on this target area. The overburden in both areas consists of loose sands and silts.

Assay results from the drill samples suggest the phosphate rock in both target areas is identical and of very high quality. The phosphate rock is very low on many of the common impurities that plague phosphate ores including cadmium and uranium, making it amendable to direct application. It also has negligible organic carbon and the CaO/P2O5 ratio points to ore clean of calcite. No size fraction analysis or concentration tests were attempted in this phase of work but historical work suggests that inexpensive techniques could be used to achieve attractive concentrate grades, and removal of alumina and ferro-oxides would be simple.

The average percent of analyzed major oxides in the phosphate rock are presented below:

      Area P2O5 SiO2 Al2O3 Fe2O3 CaO MgO Na2O K2O TiO2 MnO BaO LOI CaO/P2O5
      AF 22.69 17.44 4.71 6.76 33.42 1.15 0.23 0.24 0.36 0.93 0.09 10.14 1.47
      TH a 23.73 16.08 4.22 7.13 34.65 0.85 0.23 0.24 0.38 1.35 0.20 9.73 1.46
      TH b 27.60 9.49 2.77 5.63 40.56 0.69 0.27 0.17 0.22 1.31 0.14 9.30 1.47

Mr. Ehud Levy, a phosphate expert and Director of the company, who up to two years ago was managing director of Bateman Chemical Technologies, the Chemical division of the Bateman Litwin Group stated, "the preliminary results from the exploratory drilling are promising and show that the phosphate rock is of high quality, which is most likely to make it suitable for direct application, as well as phosphoric acid and fertilizer production." Natural phosphate rock is favoured for the generally acidic soils of the agricultural zones in Mali.

This first phase of drilling was accomplished using an aircore drill rig for the first 36, followed by Rotary Air Blast "RAB" for the rest of the holes. With both rigs, drilling in overburden proceeded with samples taken every 1m. The sampling protocol required that on or before entering the phosphate layer the sample intervals were reduced to 25cm to enable overburden and seam thickness determination. These phosphate rock samples were later combined and shipped to the ALS Minerals facility in Bamako, Mali for sample preparation. Sachets of the ground weighed samples were sent to the ALS Minerals Vancouver lab for XRF analysis of P2O5 and major oxides . ALS standards and standards from a third party source were added to the sample list. Multi-element ICP analysis was also carried out on selected samples, about 1 for every 10 samples.

This first phase of drilling has confirmed the presence of significant areas of phosphate mineralization. A second phase is planned that will follow up on the success and seek to extend areas identified at both Tin Hina and Alfatchafa, which both remain open in multiple directions, particularly to the east and south of Tin Hina. Company prospecting and remote sensing work suggest the mineralization could extend materially. The company also intends to drill test the Chanameguille target and other targets to the north of the areas drilled. The Company's Malian subsidiary is proceeding with plans for continued drilling, bulk sampling, concentration tests and preparation of a Preliminary Economic Assessment, which will provide an initial techno-economic evaluation of the project.

      Nice summary Kriskeri, thank you.

The discovery of a second seam of 1.75 m in 4 deeper holes is highly promising, and we haven't even drilled the highly prospective area around Chanameguile.

The fact that the phosphate is very low in impurities is a huge bonus. If we end up with a relatively clean product at source this will have a huge impact on keeping costs down. As we discussed before the the product can almost be crushed, bagged and sold as a direct application.:lick:

Couple this with the fact that West Africa is one of the cheapest places in the world to mine phosphate

I can't wait for the bulk sampling, concentration tests and more importantly the preliminary economic assessment of the project!

Great Quest Metals Ltd.: Tilemsi Phosphate Project Receives 32.6 Mt Initial NI 43-101 Mineral Resource Estimate

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 8, 2011) - Victor J.E. Jones, President and CFO of Great Quest Metals Ltd. ("Great Quest" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:GQ)(FRANKFURT:GQM), is pleased to announce that the Company has received an NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource estimate based on the first phase drill results within small portions of the company's 737 km2 Tilemsi Phosphate Project located in Eastern Mali, West Africa.

The report from Jed Diner, (M.Sc., P.Geol.) provides an Inferred Mineral Resource estimate of 32 million tonnes at a grade of 23.4% P2O5 (at a cutoff of 5% P2O5) using a specific gravity of 2.1.

      Inferred Resources:
Summary of the resources at various cutoff grades
      Tin Hina

      Alfatchafa

      Total
Cutoff grade % Tonnes 1000's Average grade P2O5% Tonnes 1000's Average grade
      P2O5% Tonnes 1000's Average grade

      32,550 23.43
      5 20,000 24.24 12,664 22.01
      32,664 23.38

The Tilemsi resource model is based on 176 drill holes completed in the Phase 1 drilling program carried out in the second quarter 2011 on the two initial target areas within the 737 km2 large project area. The phosphate bodies are stratabound, located near surface in gently rolling plateaus, and outcropping where the plateaus are cut by wide dry river beds. This should allow for a low strip ratio and minimal pre-stripping requirements. The overburden and phosphate material is soft unconsolidated silts and sand, which should be amenable to free digging, minimizing mining costs.

The report acknowledged that there is considerable additional untested exploration potential on the Tilemsi concessions, especially adjacent to the drilled areas, east of Tin Hina and SW of Alfatchafa. The report concludes that other areas within the concessions exhibit phosphate outcrops which have not been drill tested at all and which could increase the potential considerably. Continued exploration and drilling is recommended. The map given in Figure 4 of the report is presented below indicating the location of the drilling to date.

Mr. Ehud Levy, a Director of Great Quest Metal and international consultant on commercial phosphate deposit development stated, "The Company is pleased with the initial resource estimate for Tilemsi as it confirms the quality of the deposit and the potential for Mali as a source of high grade phosphate. We believe that the current inferred resource is conservative and that drilling of the target areas and other hills within the Tilemsi concessions will show greater reserves and increase the project potential."

The Company has mobilized geologists to the project site for continued sampling and geological reconnaissance. Eleven pits have been completed for a bulk sample for metallurgical test work and field work is in progress in preparation for drilling programs scheduled over the coming months.

      Resource Estimation Methodology

The majority of the drill holes used were on the 320km2 Tin Hina Concession, with the area of the polygons used for the calculation of resource set at 6.75km2 for Tin Hina and 6.7 km2 for Alfatchafa, representing just over 13.4km2 of the expansive 320 km2 Tin Hina area in a total project area of 737 km2.

Based on the average thicknesses of the phosphate seams, weighted average grade of the intersections, and using a specific gravity of 2.1, the preliminary estimate of tonnage represented by the Phase 1 drilling is approximately 32.6 million tonnes of phosphate rock at a weighted average grade 23.4% P2O5 of high quality. Geochemical analysis of the phosphate samples indicates that the deposit is free of deleterious elements (Cd<1 ppm, U<10 ppm) but rich in Fe2O3 and Al2O3 (about 11% combined).

Based on the drill hole spacing and sample quality issues, the report classifies the resources as inferred. The Phosphate field was divided into two different areas: Tin Hina and Alfatchafa, each of which was modelled independently by seam modeling. An Inverse Distance Squared (IDS) algorithm was used to obtain resource estimates. A detailed statistical analysis was completed according to the geological model. Each element assayed was included in the analysis. A two dimensional (2D) estimate as defined by the ore layer surfaces was undertaken. The block model size was based on drill-hole spacing and thickness of the mineralised unit. The estimation of P2O5 for the main phosphate layer was undertaken using the IDS method. On Alfatchafa, presence of good variograms allowed calculation of resources using Kriging, while in Tin Hina, only IDS estimation was possible.

The statistical analysis comprised comparing the block average grades from the Inverse Distance Squared (IDS) to that of the raw drill hole data. The Kriged Alfatchafa model grades compare very well to the IDS model grades with less than 1% variation between the two models. The area is not structurally complex and so no geological losses were applied.

If I read this correctly they are estimating 30M Ton's in a 7km square portion that represents Phase 1 of drilling, that is a small portion of the 700+ square KM property so even if you cut that tonnage in half for the remaining property we are talking Millions and Millions of Tons of high grade uncontaminated easily mines phosphate.

I would venture to say that GQ is on the rise once again.

Geochemical analysis of the phosphate samples indicates that the deposit is free of deleterious elements (Cd less than 1 ppm, U less than 10 ppm) but rich in Fe2O3 and Al2O3 (about 11% combined).

Great Quest Metals Ltd. Extends Tilemsi Phosphate Project Area to 1206 sqkm

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 14, 2011) - Victor J.E. Jones, President and CFO of Great Quest Metals Ltd. ("Great Quest" or "GQ") (TSX VENTURE:GQ)(FRANKFURT:GQM), is pleased to report that the Company is expanding the Tilemsi Phosphate project area through the acquisition of a new concession immediately adjacent to and east of its initial Tin Hina concession and through the extension of the area covered by its partnered Tarkint Est concession. The new areas increase the total Tilemsi project area from 737 sq km to 1206 sq km.

The Company has announced a preliminary NI-43101 resource on a portion of its Tina Hina concession (see news release dated November 8, 2011) from a report authored by Jed Diner, M.Sc., P.Geol. which contains an Inferred Mineral Resource estimate of 32 million tonnes at a grade of 23.4% P2O5 (at a cutoff of 5% P2O5) using a specific gravity of 2.1.

      Ader Foul Authorization d'Exploration

The Company has received an Authorization d'Exploration from the Malian DNGM office to commence the preliminary review and exploration work on the 200 sq km area known as Ader Foul. This area is immediately east of the Tin Hina hills where the Company completed 104 drill holes intersecting a phosphate horizon during its Phase 1 drilling program, and four of these holes intersected a shallower upper horizon. That drilling resulted in a resource estimate of 20 million tonnes of phosphate rock at 24% P2O5 from just a 6.75 sq km resource polygon, part of the total 32 million tonne resource estimate. The new area appears to show a continuity of structure and mineralization to the east of the Tin Hina area. A program of further mapping, sampling and an initial drilling program is planned as part of the current Phase 2 work. The Company's Malian subsidiary would hold all of the interest in the concession and will be applying for additional permits as required after the 90 day review period.

      Tarkint Est Extension

The other addition is a 269 sq km extension of the Tarkint Est concession area held through a prior agreement with a private Malian company. The extension is contiguous along the northern border of the Tin Hina and Ader Foul concessions and is now included within the Arrete permit held by the partner company. The Company has agreed to pay approximately Cdn $35,000 to the partner company to include the additional area, subject to TSX Venture approval. The Company will hold a 97% interest on the entire Tarkint Est 589 sq km area. Drilling on several hills and areas prospective for phosphate within the Tarkint Est concession, including the Chanameguille, is planned during Phase 2 using both RAB and Aircore drills. This drilling will follow up on remote sensing and the geological reconnaissance work carried out and on-going from the Company's exploration base in Almoustarat. Remote sensing data analysis and preparation of digital terrain maps using satellite imagery are planned for the new areas.

      Tilemsi Bulk Sampling

The Company has just completed eleven shallow pits down to the phosphate layer adjacent to drilling completed in Phase 1. A 100 kg sample was taken from the phosphate horizon in ten pits on the Tina Hina area and one pit on the Alfatchafa hill. The pits allow for direct sampling of the phosphate layer and adjacent lithological units, as well as removal of sufficient material for detailed metallurgical and process analysis. These samples have been transported to Bamako for further work.

Assay results from the drill samples suggest the phosphate rock in both target areas is identical and of very high quality. The phosphate rock contains negligible amounts of many of the common impurities that plague phosphate ores including cadmium and uranium, making it amendable to direct application.
It also has negligible organic carbon and the CaO/P2O5 ratio points to ore clean of calcite. No grain size analysis or concentration tests were completed in this phase of work but historical work suggests that inexpensive techniques could be used to achieve attractive concentrate grades.

This first phase of drilling confirmed the presence of significant areas of phosphate mineralization and enabled an inferred resource estimate of 32 million tonnes at a grade of 23.4% P2O5 (at a cutoff of 5% P2O5) using a specific gravity of 2.1. Phase 2 will follow up on this discovery success and seek to extend knowledge of phosphate occurrences on the expanded Tarkint Est, Tin Hina and Ader Foul areas which remain open in multiple directions, particularly to the east and south of the Tin Hina resource polygon area. The Phase 2 field program underway includes digging pits for bulk samples and visual evaluation of the near surface phosphate horizon, geological reconnaissance and RAB and Aircore drilling.

Great Quest Completes Phase 2 Drilling on Tilemsi Phosphate Project
December 5, 2011 - 12:38:34 PM VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 5, 2011) - Victor J. E. Jones, President, reports that the Great Quest Metals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:GQ)(FRANKFURT:GQM) ("Great Quest" or the "Company") has completed a limited rotary air blast drilling program of 48 holes (608 m) on its 1206 sq km Tilemsi Phosphate Project, located in Eastern Mali. The Phase 2 drilling program was limited to the Tarkint Est concession. This second phase of drilling focused on hills and plain areas identified but not drilled during the initial Phase of drilling on the project (See News Release September 26, 2011). Samples from this drilling will be similarly sent to ALS in Bamako for preparation for XRF analysis in Vancouver, BC.

As part of Phase 2, Company geologists also dug 11 pits within the areas drilled during the initial Phase and carried out a visual geological and lithological examination of the phosphate layer. A 100kg bulk sample was taken from the phosphate layer in each pit and shipped to Bamako for preparation and for onward shipment of half of the bulk sample to MINTEK, South Africa for metallurgical and processing analysis. In addition, a subsample from each of the pit samples has been shipped to ALS Vancouver for XRF analysis for P205. Drilling results will assist with the planning of an Aircore drilling program, now scheduled to commence January 2012, on a 250m spacing grid.

"Thanks to the tireless efforts of our Phase 2 personnel in Mali, Great Quest is pleased to have advanced the exploration work at Tilemsi in line with our targets for 2011. We look forward to the continued development of this unique and important West African phosphate project in the upcoming year," commented Victor J. E. Jones, President and CFO of Great Quest Metals Ltd.

With Phase 2 drilling now complete, the Company has responded to recent security issues in the Northern region of Mali by temporarily withdrawing all exploration and drilling teams from the project area in the interest of the safety of our valued personnel.

Phase 3 Planned for January 2012

The Company has now identified the phosphate horizon on areas of both the Tin Hina and Tarkint Est concessions, and will drill the Ader Foul concession in Phase 3. It is anticipated that Phase 3 drilling will commence in January using an Aircore drill rig and that Phase 3 will include geological work and additional pits to continue the geological examination of the phosphate layer.

      Qualified Person

The information in this report has been reviewed and approved for release by Mr. Jed Diner, MSc, P.Geol, who has over 30 years' experience in mineral exploration, and who is the principal consultant for the company on this project, and has sufficient experience in relation to the style of mineralization and type of deposit under consideration to qualify as a Competent Person as defined by NI 43-101. Great Quest Metals beendet zweite Bohrphase auf Tilemsi Phosphatprojekt
      company news image

Another nice move in the market for GQ today. GQ is the best kept secret of that i am convinced. When the story is told and GQ starts to attract public attention its going to be very interesting. This stock has been accumulated for the last two years and IMO few understand just how tight the share structure really is.. All we need to see right now is more tonnage and more information on the PEA. In fact i am not worried about the tonnage as i believe GQ knows there is more than enough tonnage as if they were concerned at all they would never have started the PEA work.

It appears from all that has been said in news releases that GQ have a world class product both from a grade as well as a cleanliness standpoint. Of course as always time is the teller of all truth... News should be out soon..

Great Quest Receives Successful Granulation Test From Tilemsi Phosphate

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 7, 2012) - John Clarke, CEO of Great Quest Metals Ltd. ("Great Quest" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:GQ)(FRANKFURT:GQM) is pleased to announce the successful completion of the initial granulation test carried out on the Tilemsi Phosphate Project in Eastern Mali by MINTEK South Africa and the Company's consultant Gaya Resources Development ("Gaya"). Gaya reports that the granulation of Tilemsi phosphate rock should be feasible with relative ease with the use of a rotating pan.

Successful granulation is an important step for the development of a low cost phosphate product for local use. Direct application phosphate products are of increasing popularity throughout Africa, and could be quickly developed into a low capex and low operating cost cash flow business from the Tilemsi project. One very significant benefit of a granulated product would be its ability to be used as an ingredient for NPK fertilizer blends and to be spread by farmers using conventional equipment.

John Clarke, CEO of Great Quest Metals, commented, "We are pleased with the results of the granulation tests. The success of creating a local fertilizer product for the West African region hinges on keeping costs low and making the product transportable.

These results show strong indication that both can be achievable. The product showed excellent potential for optimal granulation."

die verbliebenen Avion-Anteile sind per Q3/2011 verkauft worden:

      4. Investments
During the nine month period, the Company sold its remaining 3,008,696 Avion Gold Corporation common shares for net proceeds of $4,679,429 and realized a gain of $3,295,429. The common shares had an original cost of $0.46 per share for a total cost base of $809,000. In addition, at September 30, 2011 the Company owned 1,500,000 common shares of Granite Creek Gold Ltd. acquired at a weighted average deemed price of $0.105 per share for a total cost base of $157,500. The bid price for these shares at September 30, 2011 was $0.18 per share for a total fair value of $270,000. As a result, $112,500 has been recorded as unrealized gain in comprehensive
      income.

Based on the news release it is obvious that GQ are testing different blends for producing fertilizer. One must remember that GQ have some of the cleanest high grade phosphate in the World which is very condusive to blending at a very low cost.

From reading old reports the Germans and the French suggested strongly that the Tilemsi phosphate was 80% efficient in its raw form based on this upgrading would be very cost effective. Also remember that West Africa has been paying up to 80% premium for these blended products which explains why the farmers are only using a quarter of what the world average does.

Think about it the majority of their phosphate is imported from Morrocco. GQ's COO worked in these same fields for years and would have an exellent knowledge of what can be done with this exceptional rock.

At this point i am not to worried about further drilling eventhough i know it will add value to the project. Again going back to the news release it was pretty clear that they feel this next area has in the neighborhood of 60,000,000 more tons which would put the project at 1,00,000,000 tons with a tremendous amount of blue sky to go. At 1,000,000 tons per year thats 100 years mine life..

What i am anxious to see is additional tests on the phosphates and blending possibilities along with the PEA. The story is beginning to get out and IMO the numbers from the PEA both from a cashflow as well as profit standpoint could be staggering.

This could very well be a cash cow in the making and with only 45 million shares fully diluted the share value should be multiples from here..

      Just one mans opinion..

      Hallo Leute,

      schenken will

Mali begins journey back to democracy, interim President sworn in

Some sense of normality has returned to Mali with the appointment of an interim President after President Amadou Toumani Toure stepped down last weekend.

Dioncounda Traore, the former parliament speaker, has been sworn in as interim President and is believed to have threatened “total war” on a group of Malian soldiers who led the recent coup against the Government and the former President.

It is understood the coup was the result of accusations of a mishandling of the northern rebellion by the former Government.

Following heavy pressure from citizens for the restoration of civil rule, an agreement was negotiated under the direction of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) under which President Amadou Toumani Toure formally resigned and an interim President was appointed until elections are held.

Economic sanctions imposed on Mali after the coup have since been lifted by ECOWAS.

Activities in the capital Bamako and the populous western half of the country are believed to have returned to normal.

Great Quest Metals Ltd.: Tilemsi Phosphate Shows Excellent Potential for Low Cost Direct Application

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - April 23, 2012) - Joel Jeangrand, CEO of Great Quest Metals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:GQ)(FRANKFURT:GQM) ("Great Quest" or the "Company"), is pleased to announce the successful completion of solubility tests carried out on the Tilemsi Phosphate Project in Eastern Mali by MINTEK South Africa and the Company's consultant Gaya Resources Development ("Gaya").

The results from the solubility tests indicated that the phosphate rock from the Project has high potential as direct application fertilizer, as compared to the R.B. Diamond Rock Phosphate Classification. The high solubility of the non-beneficiated phosphate rock indicates the rock could be used as a very low cost phosphate component for high value NPK blends................

      Servus zusammen,

Great Quest to Pursue Natural Phosphate Production

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 29, 2012) - Joel Jeangrand, President & CEO of Great Quest Metals Ltd. ("Great Quest" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:GQ)(FRANKFURT:GQM) is pleased to announce plans to pursue development of a natural phosphate product for sale in West Africa.

The Company is highly satisfied with the results of the recent metallurgical tests, and believes that the results indicate significant economic potential for the phosphate product derived from the Tilemsi Phosphate Project (Tilemsi). The Company will now seek to complete a preliminary economic assessment, to quantify capital and operating costs, and analyze the markets for the proposed products.

Results from beneficiation, granulation, and solubility tests confirm that the phosphate rock can potentially be used as a direct application fertilizer and a low cost phosphate component for NPK blends. The simple method used for beneficiation and granulation suggests that pursuing this strategy would result in an ultra low cost phosphate fertilizer alternative. Given the high grade and the high solubility, this could potentially be a very versatile and effective fertilizer.

Beneficiation via Wet Screening (See PR dated March 21, 2012)

Phosphate rock from Tilemsi showed good characteristics for efficient beneficiation. The phosphate primarily exists within the larger size fractions, and as a result 98% recovery is achievable by screening for material larger than 106 microns. In addition, screening out the fine fractions can reduce silica, aluminum, and iron. The screen beneficiated phosphate grades assayed between 30.3% and 34.9% P2O5. The product may be beneficiated further by screening at 500 microns.

Successful Granulation (See PR dated March 7, 2012)

Tests confirmed that phosphate rock from Tilemsi can be granulated with relative ease with the use of a rotating pan granulator. Of the four binding agents tested, the utilization of peat and M4 bacteria as binding agents produced the greatest amount of ideally granulated product (1-4mm) with minimal abrasiveness. Successful granulation is an important factor in transportation and delivery of a quality fertilizer to the market. In addition, the granulated product can be used as a component in NPK blends.

      High P 2 O 5 Solubility (See PR dated April 23, 2012)

The acid solubility test measures the immediate availability of phosphate to plant root systems when the fertilizer is applied. Tilemsi phosphate rock achieved high solubility in both citric and formic acid, showing 19.2% of rock soluble (or 71.1% soluble P2O5) in citric acid and 16.9% (62.5% soluble P2O5) in formic acid. Solubility tests were also conducted on the granulated product and showed 64.2% soluble P2O5 in citric acid.

Finished phosphate fertilizers are bought and sold on the concentration of soluble P2O5, a simple calculation of contained P2O5 multiplied by solubility. Most market available fertilizers are 100% soluble. The Tilemsi rock, taking into account the rock solubility and the high achievable concentrations, should still produce a competitive product. Commonly used forms of phosphate include: di-ammonium phosphate (DAP) (46% P2O5), which retails in Mali for US$829/t in April 2012 and single superphosphate (SSP) (16% P2O5), which retails in the region for about $647/t. As an example, NPK (15-15-15) fertilizers are being sold at an average of US$775/t; approximately 35% of the cost and 33% by weight is from phosphate. (Source: ICIS/Africa Fertilizer)

Commenting, Joel Jeangrand, CEO of Great Quest Metals, said, "We believe the natural phosphate product is low hanging fruit for the Company. A low capex, low operating cost opportunity offers the potential for a quick path to production. We hope to demonstrate that with a PEA. Given the size of the exploration target and the quality of the rock, the Company will also pursue strategies to sell phosphate rock on the international market."

Great Quest Metals Signs Memorandum of Understanding with IFDC for Market and Technical Studies on Tilemsi Phosphate
July 9, 2012 - 09:30:00 AM VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - July 9, 2012) - Joel Jeangrand, President & CEO of Great Quest Metals Ltd. ("Great Quest" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:GQ)(FRANKFURT:GQM), is pleased to announce that a memorandum of understanding ("MOU") was signed retaining the International Fertilizer Development Center ("IFDC") to conduct specific market and technical studies for its Tilemsi Phosphate Project. IFDC has extensive knowledge of the fertilizer value chain and various market dynamics in West Africa. The market study will evaluate the current market for phosphate both as direct application fertilizer and as a component for blended NPK fertilizer. In addition, IFDC will provide ongoing technical assistance for such matters as fertilizer production and the use of suitable technologies. IFDC has also agreed to provide research and conduct pilot plant scale testing programs on the Company's future product strategy.

"IFDC works to improve agricultural productivity globally, particularly in West Africa. As such, we are optimistic that IFDC will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the work that Great Quest is doing on the Tilemsi Phosphate Project. Engaging IFDC will give us a strategic head start in developing a business and marketing plan for our proposed phosphate products," commented Joel Jeangrand, CEO of the Company.

Amit H. Roy, President and CEO of IFDC, added, "We are glad to see Great Quest assessing future investment strategies for the Tilemsi phosphate deposit, which we studied and recommended for agronomic use as a local phosphate source back in the 90s. At the time, economic considerations (e.g. production and required infrastructure costs) constrained development. However, with today's higher fertilizer and international transport prices, West African countries with significant phosphate rock resources may wish to revisit options for use of indigenous phosphate rock resources as a phosphate fertilizer. We hope that the signature of this MOU will help reach those objectives for the benefit of the farmers."

      About IFDC

IFDC is a public international organization focusing on increasing and sustaining food security and agricultural productivity in over 100 developing countries through the development and transfer of effective and environmentally sound crop nutrient technology and agribusiness expertise. IFDC provides a broad range of services in technical assistance, research, training and problem-solving related to agricultural sustainability. Headquartered in Alabama, United States, it has more than 700 international staff working in more than 30 countries worldwide.

Great Quest Files NI 43-101 Technical Report on SEDAR for the Tilemsi Phosphate Project, Mali
August 23, 2012 - 09:30:00 AM VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Aug. 23, 2012) - Joel Jeangrand, President and CEO of Great Quest Metals Ltd. ("Great Quest" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:GQ)(FRANKFURT:GQM) is pleased to announce that, further to its news release of November 8, 2011, the Company has filed a National Instrument 43-101 ("NI 43-101") compliant mineral resource estimate with respect to its Tilemsi Phosphate Project, located in eastern Mali, West Africa.

This document entitled "Tilemsi Phosphate Project, Mali - Resource Estimate" (the "Report"), dated August 16, 2012 was prepared for Great Quest by Jed Diner (M.Sc., P.Geol.), an Independent Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101. The Report is available on SEDAR under the Company's profile at www.sedar.com and on the Company's corporate website www.greatquest.com.

The Report is based on the first phase of the Company's drilling program on target areas of Tin Hina and Alfatchafa, within the Tilemsi license, one of Great Quest's three phosphate licenses. The Report follows the news release dated November 8, 2011 and validates an Inferred Mineral Resource of 32 million tonnes at a grade of 23.4% P2O5 (at a cut-off of 5% P2O5).

The Company confirms that to-date, there is no new material scientific or technical information concerning the inferred resource estimate related to the target areas of Tin Hina and Alfatchafa, within the Tilemsi license, that has not been included in the Report.

      The readers are cautioned that:

      (i) Mineral resources which are not mineral reserves do not have demonstrated economic viability. The estimate of mineral resources may be materially affected by environmental, permitting, legal, title, taxation, socio-political, marketing, or other relevant issues.

(ii) The quantity and grade of reported inferred resources in this estimation are uncertain in nature and there has been insufficient exploration to define these inferred resources as an indicated or measured mineral resource and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in upgrading them to an indicated or measured mineral resource category.

On a separate note, the Company welcomes the nomination of a unity government in Mali on August 20th, 2012 and its announcement to deal with the situation in Northern Mali as a priority. The Company will communicate further on the matter in a subsequent news release.

ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF GREAT QUEST METALS LTD.

Joel Jeangrand - President, CEO & Director

("Great Quest" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:GQ)(FRANKFURT:GQM) is pleased to announce that it has agreed, subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange, to complete a brokered and a non-brokered private placement totalling 1,356,295 units at $0.85 per unit (the "Private Placement") for gross proceeds of CAD $1,152,850. The brokered private placement was led by sole agent Pope & Company (the "Agent"). Each unit consists of one common share and one half of a transferable common share purchase warrant (a "Warrant"). Each whole Warrant entitles the holder to acquire one common share at a unit price of $1.25, for a period of two years from the date of issuance. The Private Placement is expected to close on September 14, 2012.

The net proceeds from the Private Placement will be used to further the Company's developments, principally the Preliminary Economic Assessment report ("PEA"), and for general corporate purposes. All of the shares, warrants and any shares issued upon exercise of the warrants comprising the units will be subject to a hold period and may not be traded in British Columbia until four months and one day from the closing date of the Private Placement, except as permitted by the applicable Securities Acts and the Rules made there under and the TSX Venture Exchange.

"In spite of the difficult market conditions and the current political situation in Mali, we are pleased to be able to push forward with the Tilemsi Phosphate Project by raising capital to finance our PEA which is expected to be completed in the coming months," commented Joel Jeangrand, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Certain directors and officers of the Company will acquire units under the Private Placement. Any such participation would be considered to be a "related party transaction" as defined under Multilateral Instrument 61-101 ("MI 61-101"). The transaction will be exempt from the formal valuation and minority shareholder approval requirements of MI 61-101 as neither the fair market value of any units issued to or the consideration paid by such persons will not exceed 25% of the Company's market capitalization.

In accordance with the terms of the engagement, the Agent will receive a cash commission of $70,150 with respect to the brokered Private Placement.

"The Company continues to maintain an active team in Mali. We will resume our phosphate exploration activities on our Tilemsi Project as soon as the situation permits. Meanwhile, the PEA is progressing satisfactorily and ongoing engineering test work on our phosphate rock is being carried out in South Africa," commented Joel Jeangrand.

This technical report entitled "Tilemsi Phosphate Project, Mali - Tarkint Est Area. Resource Estimate" (the "Report"), dated October 17, 2012, will be available shortly on SEDAR and on the Company's corporate website www.greatquest.com. The Report is based on the second phase of the Company's drilling program conducted in the fourth quarter of 2011 on Tarkint Est, one of Great Quest's three phosphate licenses (see Map 1: http://media3.marketwire.com/docs/GQ-1023-MAP.pdf).

      RESOURCE ESTIMATE HIGHLIGHTS:

-- As can be seen from Table 2, the results show little sensitivity to cut-
off grades, with most of the resource assays above 20%, which bodes well
      for future beneficiation processes.

-- Geochemical analyses of the phosphate samples indicate they are clean of
      deleterious elements

-- Average overburden in Tarkint Est is about 7.6m, which will result in a
strip ratio of 5.7:1 (t/t). About 10% of the Tarkint Est resource occurs
along the edges of the plateaus and could be mined without any
      stripping.

      Property Description and Location:

The Tilemsi Phosphate Project comprises the contiguous Tilemsi, Tarkint Est, and Aderfoul licenses and covers a land package of around 1,206 sq. km. The Tarkint Est license covers 589 sq. km and hosts the target area of the late 2011 drilling campaign. The drilling tested 3 large plateau areas - the western In Tassit, the central Chenamagel and the eastern Tagit N'Ouerene.

      Analytical Procedure:

This mineral resource estimate of work done to date on Tarkint Est is based on the data derived from 608m of Rotary Air Blast (RAB) drilling in 48 drillholes and 48 bulk samples, taken from outcrops and at shallow depths from trenches and excavations. All drilling protocols and geological sampling of the program were established by Mr. Jed Diner, MSc P.Geol. Drill cuttings were sent to ALS Bamako Minerals Laboratory and to ALS Laboratory in Vancouver, BC.

Great Quest President and CEO, Joel Jeangrand, commented: "This latest resource report confirms that the Tilemsi deposit is graduating to become a world-class deposit, thanks to its increasing size and potential for low extraction cost. Given the extensive land surface of our project and the work done so far, we can only expect a substantial upsize potential on the project. An inferred resource of 50 million tonnes will greatly benefit the findings of our Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA), expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2012."

      Exploration and Development Initiatives:

The Company's exploration and development program on Tilemsi, designed to expedite the path to a production decision, includes of the following components:

-- Aircore drilling to upgrade 'inferred' resource into the 'indicated'
      category;

-- Pursuing the Company's exploration program on new target zones within
the three concessions to increase the size of the project resource, as
      soon as the local geopolitical situation permits;

      -- Completion of a Preliminary Economic Assessment by year-end;

      -- Initiation of a product development and marketing strategy report;

-- Initiation of a Feasibility Study in 2013.

      The readers are cautioned that:

      i. Mineral resources which are not mineral reserves do not have
demonstrated economic viability. The estimate of mineral resources may
be materially affected by environmental, permitting, legal, title,
taxation, socio-political, marketing, or other relevant issues.
Estimates are rounded since the figures are not precise calculations.

ii. The quantity and grade of reported inferred resources in this estimation
are uncertain in nature and there has been insufficient exploration to
define these inferred resources as an indicated or measured mineral
resource and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in
upgrading them to an indicated or measured mineral resource category.

iii.The mineral resources in this report were estimated using the Canadian
Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM), CIM Standards on
Mineral Resources and Reserves, Definitions and Guidelines prepared by
the CIM Standing Committee on Reserve Definitions and adopted by CIM
      Council.

      Qualified Person

Mr. Jed Diner, MSc. P.Geol., a Qualified Person as defined under NI 43-101, completed the mineral resource estimate and has reviewed the technical information presented in this release. Mr. Diner completed his MSc. in Applied Earth Science at Stanford University in 1983 and works internationally on mineral exploration and resource development projects. He has consulted on other phosphate projects in Uzbekistan, Peru and Angola. The resource estimate complies with the NI 43-101 for the Standard of Disclosure for Mineral Projects as adopted by the Canadian Securities Regulators.

APPOINTMENT OF DR. ROBERT RENNIE AS ADVISOR

The Company is also pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Robert Rennie as Company Advisor. Recently retired as President and CEO of Spur Ventures, Dr. Rennie has over 27 years' experience in the fertilizer business. He began his career as a researcher working for the joint division of the FAO/IAEA of the United Nations and Agriculture Canada before being recruited by Esso Chemical to develop new and proprietary fertilizer products. He then rose to the position of Vice President International for Agrium, where he was responsible for the construction of the world's largest ammonia/urea plant and Agrium's retail fertilizer network in Argentina. He is Chairman of the Alberta Value Added Corporation (AVAC) and co-chair of ABIC 2013, the Agricultural Biotechnology International Conference. Dr. Rennie brings his valuable insight and experience to the preparation of the Company's PEA and its ongoing work on the Tilemsi Phosphate project.

Great Quest Metals Ltd.: PEA for Tilemsi Phosphate Indicates US$ 649m NPV at 10% Discount Rate
      2012-12-18T14:28:02+00:00

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 18, 2012) - Great Quest Metals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:GQ)(FRANKFURT:GQM) ("Great Quest" or the "Company") announces the results of an initial NI 43-101 compliant Preliminary Economic Assessment ("PEA" or the "Report"), the first step in the development of its Tilemsi Phosphate Project, located in Mali, West Africa. The Report was prepared by Gaya Resources Development Ltd and will be available on SEDAR within 45 days.

      Tilemsi Project Background

The PEA is a scoping-level study on the development of the Tilemsi phosphate resource and is based on an initial Inferred Mineral Resource of 50 million tonnes ("Mt"), grading at 24.3% P2O5, over a surface area of 25.62 km², as reported on October 23, 2012. Given historical results, remote sensing work and the company's total claim area (1,206 km²), there is evidence Tilemsi offers significant upside potential that can be determined by further exploration.

      PEA Development Description

The development plans of the Company encompass the production of two granulated phosphate products: a high grade (35% P2O5) for mixture into standard NPK blends, and a medium grade (27% P2O5) for simple direct application. Initial production is assumed to begin in 2016, with staged production ramp-up from 200,000 tonnes to 1 million tonnes, based on conservative expectations for market uptake. The Company targets landlocked markets in West Africa for product delivery, displacing high cost imported fertilizers, and servicing emerging commercial farming projects in the region.

      PEA Highlights

The proposed project, mine and processing facility, would produce an annual average of 700,000 tonnes of P2O5 concentrate over 20 years, at a Life of Mine ("LOM") strip ratio of 6.8 to 1 (overburden to process feed). This would generate an NPV of US$ 649 million, at a discount rate of 10%, and a project IRR of 34%. The PEA assumes the plant will be built to a 500,000 tonnes per year capacity at start-up to take advantage of equipment sizing benefits, but will slowly build to full capacity, assuming modest market penetration initially. Pricing used in the study incorporates a 20% discount to equivalent products currently available in the region. Given these pragmatic assumptions the project generates a very respectable rate of return. It should be noted that continued geological work indicates that drilling techniques in the preparation of the resource estimate may have underestimated the resource grade. Any increase in the resource grade will further enhance the profitability of the project.

      CEO Comments

Commenting on the Technical Report, Great Quest's President and CEO, Joel Jeangrand, said, "We are encouraged by the positive results of the PEA. Given the results of the study, we are confident that this project can generate robust economic and social returns. We have put together a full business strategy quantifying costs and risks for transportation, market penetration and product attributes. Developing this high quality resource to the benefit of the region could revolutionize West African agriculture and help stimulate growth of globally competitive commercial agriculture in the region."

The independent PEA was written and compiled by Gaya Resources Development Ltd (Israel), a full-spectrum engineering management company, specialising in fertilizer projects. The PEA includes sections provided by various international consulting firms such as Coffey Mining (South Africa) for the mining, GBM Engineering (UK) for the beneficiation process, CFI Holding (France) for the granulation/NPK study, Bolloré Africa Logistics (France) for the transportation analysis, Balu & Associates (USA) for the West Africa fertilizer market research and Mintek (South Africa) for the metallurgical testing.

Capital and operating cost estimates were prepared in mixed currencies and converted to US dollars (USD). All revenues were estimated in various currencies and converted to USD.

Great Quest cautions that the PEA is preliminary in nature, as it includes Inferred Mineral Resources which are considered too speculative geologically, to have the economic considerations applied to them that would enable them to be categorized as "Mineral Reserves". There is no certainty that the PEA will be realized as Mineral Resources do not demonstrate economic viability.

Great Quest will file a NI 43-101 compliant Technical Report, which will include the results of the PEA on SEDAR within 45 days, and investors are urged to review the Report in its entirety.

      Upcoming Milestones

The next steps for the project will be to increase the resource confidence and estimates. The Company intends to complete the Pre-Feasibility Study, including an extensive market study by early 2013 and a Feasibility Study during the second half of 2013. Great Quest intends to take the following actions in order to advance the project and create value for its shareholders:

Resume the drilling program, with a view to expand the resource and upgrade the existing Inferred Resources into the measured or indicated category, as soon as it is safe for its personnel to return to site,
Advance product development with pre-production and agronomical tests with existing and new partnerships,
Develop distribution channels, ahead of the future production ramp up,
Develop partnerships to secure competitive sources of sulphur, nitrogen and potash from the region, in order to produce in-house high quality NPK fertilizers,
Secure the required capital to finance the Company's growth, from traditional sources as well as from development agencies whose mandate aligns with the goals of the Tilemsi project.

      Qualified Person

The technical information in this press release has been reviewed and approved by Jed Diner, M.Sc., P.Geol., a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. Mr. Diner completed his M.Sc. in Applied Earth Science at Stanford University in 1983 and works internationally on mineral exploration and resource development projects. He has consulted on other phosphate projects in Uzbekistan, Peru and Angola.

      Mali Situation

While the current geo-political situation in Mali continues to be a concern, Great Quest remains committed to its high grade phosphate project. "All of our licenses are in good standing and we plan to go back to site as soon as the situation permits. In the meantime, we continue to closely monitor the developments, move the project forward and look forward to an early and peaceful resolution to the crisis," says Joel Jeangrand, President and CEO of the Company.

      http://orf.at/stories/2160780/

....soweit so gut.

GREAT QUEST CONGRATULATES MALI ON THE 'HISTORIC' KIDAL AGREEMENT

Mali's government has signed a ceasefire agreement with the secular Tuareg MNLA rebels. The new accord allows the Malian authority and its army to return to Kidal, the rebels' final stronghold in northeastern Mali. This is a significant step for Mali's crisis recovery process that removes the last obstacle on the path to countrywide elections scheduled for July 28, 2013, and paves the way for a lasting peace in the country's northern region.

"There is an international consensus, as well as a Malian consensus, on the fundamental questions, which include the integrity of our territory, national unity, and the secular and republican nature of our state," commented Tiebile Drame, head of the Malian delegation to peace talks.

Free and fair elections are necessary to restore peace and stability throughout the country and would end 15 months of interim rule. Democratic elections will set the stage for the national reconciliation process and will unlock foreign aid that has been frozen since the military coup last year. In May, 2013, international donors pledged 3.25 billion euros (or $4.31-billion) to support Mali's economic and political reconstruction program, provided elections are organized.

On July 1, 2013, a United Nations peacekeeping mission comprising 11,200 military personnel and 1,440 international police are expected to be deployed to maintain stability as French troops withdraw.

Great Quest Metals Ltd. remains committed to bringing the Tilemsi phosphate project into production and intends to resume its exploration program in Tilemsi soon after the elections.

"We have only completed drill work on 2 per cent of the total 1,206-square-kilometre Tilemsi land package," said Jed Richardson, Great Quest president and chief executive officer, "and only additional exploratory work will determine the true size of the Tilemsi phosphate deposit and confirm its high natural grade."

      http://www.canadianinsider.com/node/4

Was hälst Du davon ?

      Jed Richardson is committed !!!

Jed took down 50% of the pp and I need say no more. In total insiders took down 536,000 shares of the offering which totalled 766,666 shares. That is far beyond what I thought so jed has now put in $325,000 real money into the last two pp. That is what I call dedication and belief in the business plan.

      March 26, 2014 09:24 ET
Tilemsi Bulk Samples Average Above 24% Drilled Inferred Resource Grade

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - March 26, 2014) - Great Quest Metals Ltd (the "Company" or "Great Quest") (TSX VENTURE: GQ) is pleased to report positive results from field work at the Tilemsi Phosphate project in Mali, West Africa. Bulk sampling was conducted in October 2013, for the purposes of testing for detailed engineering and for the fabrication of beneficiated phosphate product for 2014 field demonstrations. Analysis of the material has returned grades notably higher than the drill inferred resource grade.

Outcrop samples AFL17 through AFL20 are the first results from the Aderfoul license and prove its prospectivity - with phosphate grades in excess of 30% P2O5. These new results extend mineralization for more than 1000m along strike from the boundary of the resource block of Tin Hina (20MT at 24.24% P2O5).

A total of 6.5 tonnes of material was collected from 21 pits and cliff faces, and each assayed individually. Grades ranged from 26.3% to 33.9% P2O5, giving an average of 29.93% P2O5. The bulk sample assays compare favorably with the average grade of the inferred resource of 50 MT at 24.3% P2O5.

The bulk samples taken in October were compared to the closest rotary air blast drill hole results used in determining the inferred resource. The larger bulk sample grades were all higher than the drill holes by variable amounts (see attached map). The current results corroborate pit sampling results from late 2011 (see PR from February 1st, 2012), which demonstrated average results higher by about 5% P2O5- 29.3% P2O5 in the pit samples as compared with 24.1% P2O5 from adjacent drill holes.

The rotary air blast drill was used for the resource estimate as at the time there was no other alternative available. The results recorded during this bulk sample program both from pits and outcrops sampling suggest that the grades of resources at Tilemsi were underestimated.

Jed Richardson, President and CEO, commented on the results, "Beyond the positive grade surprise, the bulk sampling program itself was an important milestone, as the first field program conducted since trouble in Mali's north forced a cessation of field work in December 2011. Security in the region continues to improve giving the Company the confidence to continue on site work, and move forward with pilot scale production."

The Company would also like to report that it has successfully renewed the permit relating to the Sonoukou gold project, with the Malian Ministry of Mines. All permits are in good standing, and the Company enjoys a collaborative relationship with the Malian administration.Sample # P2O5 (%) Sample Type
