Hallo! Ich hole mir eigentlich jede Woche den Aktionär.Aber diese Woche habe ich es nicht geschafft.Der Aktionär ist die beste Finanzzeitschrift auf dem Markt.Den lese ich schon mindestens 18 Jahre? glaube ich haha...! Dan kann ich nichts schlechtes über schreiben im Genteil!.Wann soll da etwas über unsere Aurcana drin gestanden haben ????. Gruß Lars!

Wenn dieses Jahr die Mine noch an Netz geht und 2012 die volle Produktion umsetzt.... da bin ich mal auf den Kurs gespannt.

Last month, McVey told a meeting of Shafter residents that the mineshould be operational by 2012.
Note that it says 'by' 2012,not mid-2012.
I think it should read ....the mine will be operational sometime in 2011.
After all,they will be mining in March,stockpiling the ore to run the milling.
The majority of the milling equipment has been bought and staff to run it have been hired or will be hired shortly.
I do not think they will sit around until 2012 to begin production.
Perhaps full production will be met by 2012.

SHAFTER – With plans for a re-opening of the Shafter mine appearingto be farther along than at any time in the last 40 years, the City ofPresidio last week took a precautionary step.
At Thursday’s City Council meeting, Cary Skelton, director of thePresidio Emergency Service District, suggested passing an ordinance thatrequires the Rio Grande Mining Company to provide its own rescue andemergency personnel.
“I wanted to make sure that the mine took care of its high risksolely on its own bank account,” Skelton said afterward. “Since we haveparamedics here, we want to make sure they have paramedics, so we havean even playing field in south Presidio County.”
Skelton said that Sandy McVey, project manager for Rio Grande MiningCompany, has been cooperative. McVey had not returned calls for commentas of press time.
Last month, McVey told a meeting of Shafter residents that the mineshould be operational by 2012. It has been hiring local staff, and lastweek Aurcana Corp., Rio Grande Mining’s parent, named Dr. Peter Megaw toits technical advisory committee.
Aurcana touted Megaw’s three decades of geological explorationexperience, particularly in epithermal vein and carbonate replacementdeposits, such as those at Shafter. The technical committee is expectedto oversee exploration of the Shafter Mine in the coming months.
Such developments have brought reaction in world silver markets.Peter Zihlman, a Zurich-based analyst, recently recommended Aucanastock, which is trading at roughly 70 cents per share.
Shafter-area residents will need to follow developments closer tohome. Rio Grande Mining is pursuing a water quality permit amendmentfrom the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Part of that permitwould allow the discharge of treated wastewater “at a volume not toexceed a daily average flow of 360,000 gallons per day.” That dischargewould flow from the Gold Fields Mine Shaft via pipe into a tributary ofArroyo del Muerto, then to Wilson Arroyo, then to the Rio Grande Basin.
The permit application is on file and available for viewing at the Presidio County Courthouse.
