--------------------------------------------------------------

IC Potash Corp. receives independent engineering report confirming optimal method of producing Sulfate of Potash from polyhalite

Press Release Source: Intercontinental Potash Corp. On Tuesday March 23, 2010, 7:00 am EDT

TORONTO, March 23 /CNW/ - IC Potash Corp. ("ICP" or the "Company") (TSXV: ICP) announced today that the Company has received an independent engineering report on the optimal method of producing Sulfate of Potash ("SOP") from polyhalite and related operating costs of production. The report was prepared by Gustavson Associates LLC, Feltchem Engineering, and Mr. James Waters MET MBA PE.

The report concludes that a simple low cost, robust production method using solar evaporation is the optimal method to produce SOP from polyhalite. The recommended process method uses solar energy to evaporate water from a polyhalite-produced potassium sulfate rich brine, allowing the SOP to crystallize and precipitate. The entire process system has been tested and proven in pilot scale tests by former potash companies. The process includes mining, crushing, and pulverizing ore, followed by heat treating the ore, and then leaching, solar evaporation, harvesting, upgrading, and granulation. The report further concludes that IC Potash's production cost will be very competitive in international markets for several reasons, including the high potassium grade of the polyhalite, the use of a simple clean brine that is produced by dissolution, and finally, the use of known proven unit operations and process methods that create a robust low cost operation.

Sidney Himmel, President and CEO of IC Potash said: "As a critical step towards a pre-feasibility study, we obtained an independent engineering report evaluating processing methods of converting polyhalite to SOP. This report both confirms solar evaporation as a proven technology and as the optimal method of producing SOP from polyhalite at a very low cost. With this validation, we will continue to aggressively move this project forward with the phase II drill program, planned to commence in early May, followed by a study on rock mechanics and the commencement of a pre-feasibility study."

Gustavson Associates, Feltchem Engineering, and James Waters, an experienced potash engineer were contracted to evaluate alternative methods of producing SOP from polyhalite. The three established and principal methods of SOP production are the reaction of potassium chloride (MOP) with sulphuric acid or an alternative source of sulfate; the processing and extraction of minerals or brines containing potassium and sulfate; and reacting potassium chloride and Kieserite.

The most common method of SOP production is the Mannheim process making up over 50 percent of the world's production. The Mannheim process is very high cost because it requires large amounts of MOP as an input, is energy intensive, and individual operations can only be built on a small scale. Another principal method of SOP production is through the evaporation of salt lake brines. There are three salt lakes in the world which have brines that are being treated to produce SOP. These are the lowest cost producers of SOP and account for approximately 15% of global SOP production. The third method of producing SOP and the second largest production source is through ion exchange, MOP is reacted with magnesium sulfate, (kieserite), to produce SOP and byproduct magnesium chloride. The recommended ICP method will be in effect a low cost salt lake brine evaporation method, using created brine in a built evaporation pond, rather than, a natural salt lake.

ICP will begin its Phase II exploration program in the next quarter which will include further resource delineation to provide information required to determine optimal mine location and processing methods. The Phase II program will include the acquisition of a bulk sample of polyhalite ore for additional production process optimization. The bulk sample will be obtained by horizontal coring and will provide material for additional process testing. Additional Process testing procedures, aimed at optimization, are currently being established as part of further independent studies to fine-tune operations planning under the weather conditions of south-east New Mexico.

IC Potash Corp commences Phase II drill program on its 100%-owned Ochoa project - Apr 29, 2010
www.canadianbusiness.com/markets/cnw/article.jsp?content=201…

"TORONTO, April 29 /CNW/ - IC Potash Corp. ("ICP" or the "Company") (TSXV: ICP) announced today the Company plans to commence its Phase II drilling program for its flagship Polyhalite Ochoa project in New Mexico May 15, 2010.

The drill program will be performed in accordance with the program description as described in the 43-101 Compliant Report; "Polyhalite Resources and a Preliminary Economic Assessment of the Ochoa project Lea County, Southeast New Mexico" which was prepared as at August 19, 2009. The 10 hole program is a follow-up to the successful 6 hole Phase I drilling program that validated the Company's geologic model for polyhalite throughout the area. Core and a comprehensive suite of geophysical logs will be obtained from each hole.

"With 400M tons of inferred resources of high-grade Polyhalite, we have designed an extensive drill program and prioritized targets that will further expand and define the resource. We anticipate the assay results for the drill program in approximately six weeks of the first drill hole at which time IC Potash will begin its Definitive Feasibility Study,
" said Sidney Himmel, President and CEO of IC Potash Corp. "With this drill program underway and a strong market for premium potash, we are well positioned to be a primary SOP producer in the world."

The Phase II drill program has been designed to:

(i) continue to validate interpretations of historical oil and gas geophysical logs as started by Phase I drilling; (ii) advance the classification of resources reported in the 43-101 Technical Report from inferred resource to indicated resource; (iii) acquire bulk samples for metallurgical and geophysical testing through sidetrack coring from the exploration hole; (iv) ascertain chemical and thickness variability; (v) determine optimal locations for Phase III in-fill drilling and optimum mine location; (vi) initiate baseline hydrological investigations by geophysical logging of the fresh water zone of core holes; and (vii) protect any potable water in the area during drilling and drill hole abandonment. The Company anticipates completing the Phase II drilling program by September 2010.

The Ochoa Polyhalite prospecting permits cover subsurface mineral rights in Lea County about 60 miles west-southwest of Hobbs, New Mexico, and 23 miles west of the Texas-New Mexico state line. The property is located in five townships in Lea County, New Mexico.

Drilling is being conducted by an experienced potash drilling company; Stewart Brothers of Milan, New Mexico. Century Geophysical has been contracted for geophysical logging of core holes. QA/QC will be overseen by Qualified Person, Marc Melker, an IC Potash employee. Core samples will be evaluated using X-ray Diffraction (XRD) and X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) by The Mineral Lab, and assays will be conducted by ALS Chemex using ICP chemical analysis.

NI43-101 compliant QA/QC measures are being employed in the field and laboratories to ensure defensibility of the data through a validation process using blanks, standards and replicates. Core splits will be carefully preserved against moisture degradation and placed in secure, temperature controlled storage area to enable any future confirmation audits of the core.

Reference samples will be collected and photographed for all rock units encountered during drilling for future reference. Samples from core will be procured for density measurements and thin section microscopy and scanning electron microprobe (SEM) evaluation.

All scientific and technical disclosure in this press release has been prepared under the supervision of Marc Melker with IC Potash who is a Qualified Person within the meaning of National Instrument 43-101.

About IC Potash Corp

IC Potash intends to become a primary producer of Sulfate of Potash ("SOP") by mining its 100%-owned Polyhalite Ochoa property in New Mexico. SOP is a non-chloride based potash fertilizer that generally sells at a substantial premium over the price of Muriate of Potash ("MOP"), the most widely used fertilizer in the world. Over the past several years, SOP has traded at approximately a 50% premium to MOP in international markets. Using a simple, low cost and proven technology to produce SOP from Polyhalite, IC Potash is focused on being the lowest cost producer of SOP in the world.

The SOP market is approximately 4 million tonnes per year and is a significant alternative fertilizer for agricultural products such as fruits, vegetables, tobacco, potatoes, and horticultural plants. SOP has low "salinity" compared to MOP, and therefore is also used in various saline soils in the world, which are found for example in China, India, the Mediterranean, and the United States.

IC Potash Ochoa property consists of federal sub-surface potassium permits granted by the Bureau of Land Management ("BLM") covering approximately 50,000 acres of land. All reclamation plans, environmental plans, and archeological work have been approved by BLM. IC Potash carries out all activities through its wholly owned subsidiary, Intercontinental Potash Corp. "

IC Potash Awarded New Mining Leases in New Mexico

Press Release Source: Intercontinental Potash Corp. On Tuesday June 1, 2010, 7:00 am

- New leases encompass 40 square miles -
TORONTO, June 1 /CNW/ - IC Potash Corp. ("ICP" or the "Company") (TSXV: ICP) today announced the receipt of new potash mining leases (the "Mining Leases") for its New Mexico potash project (the "Ochoa Project").

"With these new mining leases we have now consolidated an 80 square mile, contiguous land package that contains what we believe to be the most highly prospective area within our total lease package," said Sidney Himmel, President and CEO of IC Potash Corp. "This is the completion of the area which is our drill program focus. We are now working through the Phase II - 10 hole, drill program that will further validate our geologic model and establish our indicated resource base. In terms of scale, the state land package is one of the most considerable land packages ever awarded by the State."

New Mexico, State Land Commissioner Patrick Lyons awarded the Company the Mining Leases totaling an area of 25,890 acres (40 square miles). With these leases, the Company now has a complete land package containing the target area for the completion of the exploration and development programs, to establish a Sulphate of Potash mining project in New Mexico. Total acres under the control by the Company amount to a contiguous package of 112,000 acres.

As described in the company's press release of April 29, IC Potash has commenced its 10 hole rotary and core Phase II drilling program for the Sulphate of Potash project. Confirmatory drilling and coring will be carried out on both federal and state lands. The Phase II program is following the Phase I drilling program, completed in January. That initial program validated the Company's geologic model for the Sulphate of Potash precursor mineral, Polyhalite, throughout the area of interest.

IC Potash Reports Results of Initial Pre-Feasibility Metallurgical Module for Ochoa - Jun 23, 2010

+ Production costs are US$188 per long ton of SOP. At such a projected cost, IC Potash Corp. would be one of the lowest cost producers of Sulphate of Potash ("SOP") in the world. (It is the Company's goal to produce SOP, which is sold at a premium price and to produce it at a lower cost compared to most other producers of SOP.)

+ The recovery will be 92% of the Potassium (K2O) contained in the polyhalite ore. This would be a substantially higher recovery than available from traditional salt lakes brines.

+ 1500 acres of solar ponds would be required to produce 600,000 tons per year of SOP. This small acreage requirement, is very small compared to those of other SOP producers who use the solar evaporation process. A low acreage reduces costs and makes environmental permitting easier.

+ Detailed flow sheets for operations have been finalized.

"Jun. 23, 2010 (Canada NewsWire Group) -- IC Potash Corp. ("ICP" or the "Company") (TSXV: ICP) today reported the results of the first metallurgical module of the Project Pre-Feasibility Study, which has now been completed.

...

"These initial indications further validate that our project is economic and at a low cost," said Sidney Himmel, President and CEO of IC Potash Corp. "Completing the metallurgical simulation model prior to the initiation of the full Pre-feasibility Study will reduce the time needed to complete that Study. During the full study, additional testing will be carried out to further refine the specific details of the metallurgical processing. Evaporation pan tests will be used. Currently we are in the field carrying out the second drill program, and this program will provide small bulk samples of polyhalite ore for optimization process testing."

Press Release Source: Intercontinental Potash Corp. On Tuesday July 20, 2010, 7:00 am

TORONTO, July 20 /CNW/ - IC Potash Corp. ("ICP" or the "Company") (TSXV: ICP) is pleased to announce analytical results from the first core of its current Phase II drill program. The thickness of the intersected polyhalite core was 5.8 feet and computed grade was 84 % polyhalite. The results are based on x-ray diffraction ("XRD") and x-ray fluroresence ("XRF"), and they demonstrate ongoing excellent quality polyhalite.

Results for the next two holes are expected within two weeks. As with the first program, results released on February 10, 2010, and as predicted from the geological model, the polyhalite core was found between thin anhydrite layers within the salt bed of the Rustler formation of the Permian Delaware basin in New Mexico. The Company anticipates completing the Phase II drilling program by September 2010.

"We are extremely pleased that the grade and thickness of the core continue to be consistent with geophysical log analysis from historically obtained rotary drill holes. It was this data which formed the basis for our business, and the geological model continues to be confirmed." said Sidney Himmel, President and CEO of IC Potash Corp. "With 400 million tons of inferred resources of 85% Polyhalite, the drill program has been designed to prioritize targets, to confirm the resource, and to further define it. With the current program, the continued strong market for Sulphate of Potash, and recent metallurgical modeling and analysis, we continue to be well positioned to be a leading SOP producer."

The drill program is being performed in accordance with the program description contained in the 43-101 Compliant Report; "Polyhalite Resources and a Preliminary Economic Assessment of the Ochoa project Lea County, Southeast New Mexico" which was prepared as at August 19, 2009. The coring program continues to validate the Company's geologic model for polyhalite. NI43-101 compliant QA/QC measures are being employed in the field and laboratories to ensure defensibility of the data through a validation process using blanks, standards and replicates.

The standards used are a combination of in-house prepared and commercially obtained materials of polyhalite and other related minerals. Retained core splits are carefully preserved against moisture degradation and placed in secure climate controlled storage areas to enable any future confirmation audits of the core. Sealed analytical splits are packaged in hard plastic thermal containers for shipment for sample preparation and analysis. All cores are photographed and reference samples are collected and photographed for all rock units encountered during drilling for future reference.

IC POTASH DRILL PROGRAM CONTINUES TO YIELD POSITIVE RESULTS
cnwgroup

Press Release Source: Intercontinental Potash Corp. On Wednesday August 25, 2010, 7:00 am EDT

TORONTO, Aug. 25 /CNW/ - IC Potash Corp. ("ICP" or the "Company") (TSXV: ICP) is pleased to announce analytical results from the fourth core of its current Phase II drill program. The thickness of the recently intersected polyhalite cores is 5.7 feet of 84% polyhalite. This result is as expected and based on x-ray diffraction ("XRD") and x-ray fluorescence ("XRF").

The results for the first four cores, located in the following townships, are therefore:

1. Section 13 - Township 23 S, 32 E - 5.8 feet of 84 % polyhalite.
2. Section 23 - Township 23 S, 32 E - 5.7 feet of 85 % polyhalite.
3. Section 3 - Township 23 S, 32 E - 5.5 feet of 77 % polyhalite.
4. Section 1 - Township 24 S, 33 E - 5.7 feet of 84% polyhalite.

The first three holes above, of the Phase II drill program, have extended
the area of validated modeling to south of the area tested in Phase I. They
also are substantially filling in the western half of the target basin with
confirmatory drilling. The fourth hole above is confirming the inferred
resource in the far south east corner of the target area. The fourth hole is
almost five miles away from the next closest drill hole from Phases I and II.
For all cores to date and as predicted from the geological model, the
polyhalite core has been found between thin anhydrite layers within the salt
bed of the Rustler formation of the Permian Delaware basin in New Mexico. The
Company anticipates the completion of the program this month, with additional
cores currently being analyzed by x-ray diffraction and by chemical means.

"These positive results reveal that the grade and thickness of the core continues to be consistent with geophysical log analysis from historically obtained rotary drill holes, and from prior core drilling. The original geophysical data formed the basis for our business, and the geological model continues to be confirmed," said Sidney Himmel, President and CEO of IC Potash Corp. "With the current program, the continued strong market for Sulphate of Potash, and recent metallurgical modeling and analysis, we continue to be well positioned to be a leading SOP producer."

The drill program is being performed in accordance with the program description contained in the NI 43-101 Compliant Report; "Polyhalite Resources and a Preliminary Economic Assessment of the Ochoa project Lea County, Southeast New Mexico" which was prepared as at August 19, 2009. The coring program continues to validate the Company's geologic model for polyhalite. NI 43-101 compliant QA/QC measures are being employed in the field and laboratories to ensure defensibility of the data through a validation process using blanks, standards and replicates.

All scientific and technical disclosures in this press release have been prepared under the supervision of Marc Melker with IC Potash who is a Qualified Person within the meaning of National Instrument 43-101.

hallo liebe potash freunde.

IC Potash: Das Millarden-$-Baby aus New Mexiko
30.09.2010

Quelle: www.icpotash.com

Fazit

IC Potash Announces Successful Ochoa Potash Project Preliminary Economic Assessment - Jan 5, 2010
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/IC-Potash-Announces-prnews-290…

"TORONTO, Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ - IC Potash Corp. ("ICP" or the "Company") (TSXV: ICP) announced today the successful conclusion of the updated Preliminary Economic Assessment of the Company's 100%-owned Ochoa Sulphate of Potash ("SOP") Project (the "Preliminary Economic Assessment" or "PEA") located in south east New Mexico, and prepared by Gustavson Associates of Lakewood, Colorado ("Gustavson").

"This independent report is a major achievement for IC Potash," Mr. Sidney Himmel stated. "The updated PEA attributes an estimated net present value to the Ochoa Project of US$1.4 Billion using a pre-tax discount rate of 10%, and $2.1 billion using a rate of 8%. The projected values are based on the estimated capital cost of $662 million and projected production cost of $164 per ton of SOP. The PEA provides robust economics for the Ochoa Project with operations producing 660,000 tons of SOP per year. Our mission is to develop a long-life, low cost mine, which will produce Sulphate of Potash, the premium quality potash of the world, and the PEA indicates that the Company's New Mexico Ochoa potash asset is positioned to become one of the world's lowest cost producers of Sulphate of Potash."

Recommendations and Conclusions

This Preliminary Economic Assessment indicates that the Ochoa Sulphate of Potash project is economically viable and Gustavon recommends continued development of the project including:

+ The completion of a prefeasibility study;

+ The commencement of environmental and permitting work; and

+ The obtaining of a sufficient bulk sample of ore for pilot scale metallurgical testing and process optimization.

Dr. George Poling, Chairman of the Board of Directors of IC Potash Corp., stated: "My compliments to our world class team for the timely execution of this critical milestone. We are now well financed to carry out all recommended work, and prepared to evaluate strategic development opportunities moving forward with the Ochoa Project, including the possibility of establishing marketing partnerships with international fertilizer companies."

Economic Analysis

The National Instrument 43-101 Compliant Preliminary Economic Assessment projects a base case production level of 660,000 tons per year of Sulphate Potash ("SOP"), a mine life of 40 years with a capital cost of $662 million, and operating cost per ton of $164. All dollars are expressed in United States currency. The base case production level data is summarized as follows:

+ Internal rate of Return of 25% on a pre-tax basis based on a 100% equity case;

+ Net Present Value of US $1.4 billion using a pre-tax discount rate of 10% and no debt;

+ Net Present Value of US$2.1 billion using a pre-tax discount rate of 8% and no debt;

+ Operating production cost of US$164 per ton of SOP;

+ Capital cost of $662 million which includes a general contingency of $97 million and engineering and procurement and management costs of $48 million;

+ Underground mining at a rate sufficient to produce 3.29 million tons of ore per year;

+ Average mining extraction rate of 85%;

+ Average metallurgical recovery of 85%

+ Mine life of 40 years;

+ The Sulphate of Potash sales price forecasts were provided by CRU, formerly known as British Sulphur Consultants. CRU is the leading business consultancy for the fertilizer industries;

+ SOP prices for 2015 were forecast at $508 per short ton and subsequently varied for projected macroeconomic trends and anticipated changes in Sulphate of Potash supply and demand;

+ While the project has the potential to produce Sulphate of Potash and other fertilizer minerals such as Magnesium Sulphate, the study included only Sulphate of Potash as this fertilizer mineral is readily marketable in a very robust market.

Economic Impact of Resource Expansion

As provided in the press release of December 15, 2010, there is now 700 million tons of potash resource in the measured and indicated resource category. The detailed potash resource is provided in the table below. In addition, there is a further resource of 300 million tons of potash in the inferred resource category.

5 foot minimum thickness - Measured - Indicated - Measured and Indicated

Tons
239,000,000 462,000, 000 700,000,000

Grade Polyhalite 82.7% 82.4% 82.5%

Equivalent Grade K2SO4 23.4% 23.4% 23.4%

6 foot minimum thickness Measured Indicated Measured and Indicated

Tons 41,000,000 47,000,000 88,000,000

Grade Polyhalite 86.1% 84.1% 85.0%

Equivalent Grade K2SO4 24.4% 23.8% 24.1%

Mineral resources that are not mineral reserves do not have demonstrated economic viability. The objective of the upcoming pre-feasibility study is to demonstrated economic viability.

Base Case of 660,000 tons per year production, operating costs:

Area of Operations - Cost Per Ton Of Feedstock(US$) - Cost Per ton of SOP Product(US$)

Mining
$12.36 $61.39

Processing $19.76 $98.11

G&A $ 0.95 $ 4.72

Total $33.07 $164.22

Chief Operating Officer Randy Foote commented, "We recently reported a NI-43-101 compliant mineral resource which included, at a five foot minimum thickness cut-off, 239 million tons of measured resource of polyhalite, and 462 million tons of indicated resource. It is this resource which we intend to convert to Sulphate of Potash at a very low cost of production. Thus this project has the potential to have a life far in excess of the forty year mine life which was used in the financial economic model. The Company is intent on moving quickly to develop this project."

The Preliminary Economic Assessment also considered a production scenario of 1,000,000 tons of annual Sulphate of Potash production. The capital cost for such a production level would be $813 million. Assuming a 40 year mine life and the same projected SOP prices as for the base case, the Internal Rate of Return would be 30% and the Net Present Value would be $2.5 billion using a pre-tax discount rate of 10% and US$3.6 billion using a pre-tax discount rate of 8%.

The NI-43-101 Technical Report for Preliminary Economic Assessment and the resource will be published on the System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval ("SEDAR") no later than January 28, 2011. SEDAR is the mandatory document filing and retrieval system for Canadian public companies. SEDAR is operated by the Canadian Securities Administrators, a coordinating body comprising the 13 Canadian provincial and territorial securities commissions.

Qualified Persons Report

All scientific and technical disclosures in this press release have been prepared under the supervision of William J Crowl, a consultant to IC Potash who is a Qualified Person within the meaning of National Instrument 43-101.

The Qualified Persons in respect of the Preliminary Economic Assessment were William J. Crowl, R.G., Donald E. Hulse, P.E., Terre A. Lane, MAusIMM, Deepak Malhotra, MAusIMM. Consulting geologists, chemical engineers, and chemists in respect of the work included Dr. Patrick Okita, Donial Felton, B.Sc., Richard Chastain, B.Sc., and Thomas Neuman, M.Sc.

About IC Potash Corp.

IC Potash intends to become a primary producer of Sulphate of Potash ("SOP") by mining its 100%-owned Polyhalite Ochoa property in New Mexico. SOP is a non-chloride based potash fertilizer that sells at a substantial premium over the price of Muriate of Potash ("MOP"), the most widely used fertilizer in the world. Typically SOP sells at a premium of 50% to MOP. ICP is focused on being the lowest cost producer of SOP in the world. The SOP market is six million tonnes per year and is a significant fertilizer in the fruit, vegetable, tobacco, potato, and horticultural industries, and for agriculture in saline and dry soils. SOP is also applicable in soils where there is substantial agriculture activity with varieties of crops. geht mir genauso, weiß jetzt nicht was ich mit meinen ic potash machen soll, bin seit 30cent dabei.

C POTASH FILES 43-101 PRELIMINARY ECONOMIC ASSESSMENT TECHNICAL REPORT FOR OCHOA PROJECT AND PROVIDES CORPORATE UPDATE

Jan. 17, 2011 (Canada NewsWire Group) --

TORONTO, Jan. 17 /CNW/ - IC Potash Corp. ("IC Potash" or the "Company") (TSXV: ICP; OTCQX:ICPTF) is filing today on SEDAR (www.sedar.com) a Canadian National Instrument 43-101 compliant Preliminary Economic Assessment Technical Report of the Company's 100 % - owned Ochoa Sulphate of Potash ("SOP") Project (the "Preliminary Economic Assessment" or "PEA"). The project is located in south east New Mexico. The PEA report, entitled NI 43-101 Technical Report on the Polyhalite Resources and Updated Preliminary Economic Assessment of the Ochoa Project was prepared by Gustavson Associates of Lakewood, Colorado ("Gustavson").

Other corporate update information:

* Bulk sampling program commenced;
* Pre-feasibility study to commence imminently;
* Environmental work to commence in first quarter; and
* Stock options awarded.

The bulk sampling program has commenced. Metallurgical testing and optimization will commence this January using the potash resource previously obtained. Testing will include the optimization of calcination, leaching, solar evaporation and crystallization procedures. Testing will be carried out by Hazen Research, Inc. of Golden Colorado. Hazen has completed over 10,000 projects for clients, including pilot and demonstration plants and has expertise in industrial minerals processing, as well as in mineral hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, inorganic chemicals, and commercial metals.

"The completion of the report, which was announced on January 5 of this year, is a major achievement for IC Potash," Mr. Sidney Himmel, the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, stated. "We are finalizing the assembly of the team to prepare the Pre-Feasibility Study. It is estimated that this study will require nine months to complete at an estimated cost of $3 million. Our mission is to develop a long-life, low cost mine to produce SOP, the premium quality potash of the world. We continue to move rapidly in that direction. The recommendations of the PEA include the completion of a pre-feasibility study, the commencement of environmental permitting work, and the obtaining of a sufficient bulk sample for metallurgical testing and process optimization. We are moving rapidly in all these directions with the goal of being one of the first junior companies to put a potash mine into production. And in this case it is based on SOP, the world's quality potash which is sold at a premium price".

As previously reported, the PEA projects a base case production level of 660,000 tons per year of SOP, a mine life of 40 years and a capital cost of $662 million. Operating cost is projected to be $164 per ton. All dollars are in United States currency. Summary data for the project are:

* Internal rate of Return of 25% on a pre-tax basis based on a 100% equity case;
* Net Present Value of US $1.4 billion using a pre-tax discount rate of 10% and no debt;
* Net Present Value of US$2.1 billion using a pre-tax discount rate of 8% and no debt;
* Operating production cost of US$164 per ton of SOP;
* Capital cost of $662 million which includes a general contingency of $97 million and engineering and procurement and management costs of $48 million;
* Measured mineral resource of 239,000,000 tons at a grade of 82.7% polyhalite equivalent to 23.4% Sulphate of Potash, and indicated resource of 461,000,000 tons at a grade of 82.4% polyhalite equivalent to 23.4 % Sulphate of Potash, each of which with a cut-off thickness of 5 feet.
* Underground mining at a rate sufficient to produce 3.29 million tons of ore per year;
* Average mining extraction rate of 85%;
* Average metallurgical recovery of 85%
* Mine life of 40 years;
* The SOP sales price forecasts were provided by CRU, formerly known as British Sulphur Consultants. SOP prices for 2015 were forecast at $508 per short ton and subsequently varied upwards and downwards for projected macroeconomic trends and anticipated changes in SOP supply and demand. For 2025 and thereafter a price of $717 per short ton is used in the projections.
* While the project has the potential to produce SOP and other fertilizer minerals such as Magnesium Sulphate, the study included only SOP as this fertilizer mineral is readily marketable in a very robust market.

The PEA contains information on resource, proposed mining methods, mineral processing, hydrology, and entry into the Sulphate of Potash markets.

All scientific and technical disclosures in this press release have been prepared under the supervision of William J. Crowl, a consultant to IC Potash who is a Qualified Person within the meaning of National Instrument 43-101. The Qualified Persons in respect of the Preliminary Economic Assessment were William J. Crowl, R.G., Donald E. Hulse, P.E., Terre A. Lane, MAusIMM, Deepak Malhotra, MAusIMM.

The PEA is preliminary in nature. Although the PEA includes measured and indicated mineral resources, it also includes inferred mineral resources which are considered too speculative geologically to have the economic considerations applied to them that would enable them to be categorized as mineral reserves. There is no certainty that the projections in the PEA will be realized.

Awarding of Stock Options:

The Company granted on January 13, 2011, at a board meeting held after close of business, 700,000 options to acquire common shares of the Company (the "Options") pursuant to the stock option plan of the Company and subject to regulatory approval. The Options were granted to an officer and to a consultant to the Company. The Options expire on January 13, 2016 and have an exercise price of $1.42, the closing price of the stock on the TSXV prior to the grant.

Certain information set forth in this news release may contain forward-looking statements that involve substantial known and unknown risks and uncertainties. These forward-looking statements are subject to numerous risks and uncertainties, certain of which are beyond the control of the Company, including, but not limited to, risks associated with mineral exploration and mining activities, the impact of general economic conditions, industry conditions, dependence upon regulatory approvals, and the uncertainty of obtaining additional financing. About IC Potash

IC Potash intends to become a primary producer of Sulphate of Potash ("SOP") by mining its 100%-owned potash Ochoa property in New Mexico. The SOP market is six million tonnes per year. SOP is a significant fertilizer in the fruit, vegetable, tobacco, potato, and horticultural industries, and for agriculture in saline and dry soils and soils in which there is much agriculture with varieties of crops. Much of the agricultural soil in China, India, and the United States is salty. ICP's Ochoa property consists of over 100,000 acres of federal subsurface potassium prospecting permits and State of New Mexico Potassium mining leases.

in wenigen Wochen / Monaten vervierfacht.

Da sollte Rio Tinto mal unsere IC Potash ansehen -

Derzeit hält man rund 2,49 Mio. Western Potash-Aktien.

Ist doch schon mal was positives.....

Potash Achieves Positive Results from Counter-Current Leaching - Potassium Recovery Rates Improve to 97% from 91% and are Expected to Result in Lower Operating Costs

TORONTO, May 9 /CNW/ - IC Potash Corp. ("ICP" or the "Company") (TSXV:
ICP) (OTCQX: ICPTF) announced today very positive results of metallurgical
testing focused on increasing the recovery of potassium sulphate from the
polyhalite resource of the CompanyIC's flagship Ochoa project in New Mexico.
Conducted by Hazen Laboratories, one of the world's premier metallurgical
and processing laboratories, the tests obtained 99% recoveries when using
counter-current leaching. The Company estimates that leaching recoveries of
at least 97% will be obtained in an operating plant environment. Initial test
results as announced March 21, 2010 had obtained 91% recovery rates.
"Our latest test results are significant on a number of levels," said Mr.
Randy Foote, Chief Operating Officer. "They clearly demonstrate that a high
recovery of potassium can be obtained through counter-current leaching. Just
as important, because the recovery rate is higher than we anticipated, we
expect our operating costs will be lower as a result."
Counter-current leaching occurs when fresh ore is leached with previously
produced potassium sulphate solution and previously leached rock a second time
with new water.
Test Results:
More than 80 individual leaching tests were conducted. Parameters that
were studied included dissolution of the calcined ore, dissolution of side
products, identification and quantification of the side products, ore to water
ratios, and the effects of salt (halite) on the dissolution process and
evaporation processes. It was determined that leaching water containing no
more than 1 per cent salt should be used.
These tests confirm previous U.S. Bureau of Mines work regarding the
leaching of polyhalite to solutions of sulphate of potash and magnesium
sulphate. This data is now being used to design a full-scale counter current
leaching system. Additional testing using larger scale equipment will be
completed this summer.

IC Potash Provides Update on Marketing Study

Toronto, ON - July 5, 2011 -- IC Potash (TSX: ICP) (OTCQX: ICPTF) commissioned a marketing study, and has received a detailed report from CRU Strategies ("CRU" or the "Consultancy") with respect to the marketing of sulphate of potash ("SOP"). The report, entitled "Support to the Ochoa Project Pre-Feasibility Study", will be summarized in the pre-feasibly study which is currently being prepared with a planned filing for October, 2011. This report affirms the excellent market potential for the SOP. It is planned that SOP will be produced from the polyhalite resource of the Ochoa project in southeast New Mexico, a major potash producing region.

In preparing the report, CRU carried out detailed marketing studies for various international regions. Resultantly, CRU believes that the main competition for SOP delivery will come from current producers with little in terms of capacity expansion forecasted over the given timeline.

Sidney Himmel, President and CEO of IC Potash, stated "We are very encouraged by the recommendations and analysis that CRU has produced. Not only has the CRU report described the excellent market potential for SOP, but it has also highlighted the excellent potential for other specialty fertilizer products that the Ochoa project can produce."

Highlights of the CRU report as follows:
• Based on the assumption that sales will commence in 2015, the Company should be able to sell a significant amount of SOP production without affecting the currently projected SOP prices.
• Global consumption of SOP will increase by 35% over the next 15 years, thus meaning there is significant potential for ICP to enter into and expand a position in the SOP market.
• Major growth in demand is forecast to come from Asia, South and Central America, the Middle East and Africa, and ICP is well positioned to address this incremental demand expansion from emerging markets.
• Rail connections between ICP's Ochoa project in southeast New Mexico and the ports of Houston, Texas, and Long Beach, California, provide excellent connections for international delivery.
• ICP can expect to sell, in addition to SOP, other specialized fertilizer products which can be produced from polyhalite.
The Consultancy forecasts that the biggest market penetration for the planned production from the Ochoa project will be the US as well as Central and South America. CRU anticipates that US market penetration should approach 40 % over time, with the additional positive potential for product delivery to Asia and Europe. The Consultancy also forecasts that these markets will represent 90% to 95% of ICP's projected sales between 2015 and 2025.

In conclusion, the Consultancy recommends that ICP sells granular, regular and soluble SOP products, and enters into additional specialized fertilizer markets for incremental income, as polyhalite can produce in addition to SOP, additional saleable fertilizer products.

K+S ein „Top Pick“: Die 30-Prozent-Chance

Norbert Sesselmann

Was können Anleger erwarten?

IC Potash Advances Environmental Permitting with Bureau of Land Management

TORONTO, Jan. 26, 2012 /CNW/ - IC Potash Corp. ("ICP" or the "Company") (TSX: ICP) (OTCQX: ICPTF) is pleased to announce that the U.S. Department of Interior Bureau of Land Management ("BLM") has commenced the formal public scoping process for the Ochoa Project by publication in the United States Federal Register. Public scoping meetings are being conducted by the BLM in local communities close to the Ochoa Project. Specific dates and locations for these meetings will be announced at least 15 days in advance of the first meeting in local media, newspapers, and the BLM website (http://www.blm.gov/nm/st/en/fo/Carlsbad_Field_Office.html). Three public meetings are being held this week.

Mr. Sidney Himmel, CEO of ICP, commented: "We look forward to working with members of the community throughout this process to deliver net benefits to all project stakeholders in the form of sustainable economic and social development. The launch of the public scoping process represents an important step forward as public input into the EIS process has now commenced. We are pleased with this milestone as it keeps the Ochoa Project on schedule."

As the lead federal agency overseeing the permitting of Ochoa, the BLM is required to comply with the National Environmental Policy Act ("NEPA") before authorizing project construction by approving the Mine Plan of Operations ("MPO"). The MPO was filed by ICP with the BLM on September 30, 2011. ICP anticipates the EIS process will be completed within the next 24 months.

About IC Potash Corp.

ICP intends to become a primary producer of Sulphate of Potash ("SOP") and Sulphate of Potash Magnesia ("SOPM") by mining its 100%-owned Polyhalite Ochoa property in New Mexico, a highly advanced mineral deposit containing proven and probable reserves of more than 400 million tons of ore within the proposed mine plan. SOP is a non-chloride based potash fertilizer that sells at a substantial premium over the price of regular potash known as Muriate of Potash ("MOP"). MOP contains chloride and is therefore not the optimal potash for numerous crops and in situations where there is high soil salinity. ICP is focused on becoming the lowest cost producer of SOP in the world. The SOP market is towards six million tonnes per year. SOP is a significant fertilizer in the fruit, vegetable, tobacco, potato, and horticultural industries. SOP is also applicable in soils where there is substantial agricultural activity with varieties of crops and therefore where the salinity of the soil has increased, and in areas where soils are dry. SOPM is a highly desirable potash product for soils with magnesium deficiency, including those found in Europe and Southeast Asia and has a total global market size of over one million tonnes. ICP's Ochoa property consists of over 100,000 acres of federal subsurface potassium prospecting permits and State of New Mexico Potassium mining leases.

studie stimmt schon teilweise.

There are many reasons to love polyhalite. Here’s seven important facts and functions to give an overview of our exciting new product.

1. It’s natural

Unlike blended or compound fertilizer, polyhalite is available in its natural state. There are no chemical separation or other industrial processes involved meaning it’s a safe, environmentally friendly product that satisfies the world’s growing need for sustainability in farming. All we do to polyhalite is mine, crush, screen and bag it, ready for the market as Polysulphate. Because polyhalite has a low carbon footprint, growers can achieve their carbon targets demanded by retailers and some food processors, whilst still seeing high yields and strong crop quality.

2. It holds multiple nutrients

Polyhalite is high in sulphate, so it’s a perfect new addition to the world of agriculture, with sulphur deficiency now being widespread. Sulphate is now established as a huge fertilizer requirement for arable crops and grassland, but sulphate applications to all crops remain low. It is possible that low application numbers are caused by a lack of a cost-effective, easily spread sulphate fertilizer.

Polyhalite is not only high in sulphate, thus offering a new cost-effective sulphate fertilizer to the market, but it also holds the added bonus of valuable levels of potassium (K2O), magnesium (MgO) and calcium (CaO). This makes our Polysulphate product a well-rounded, multi-nutrient fertilizer.

3. It’s proven to be effective

As the first producers and sellers of polyhalite, marketed as Polysulphate, ICL has conducted extensive experiments around the world. All of these experiments – held in UK, France, Germany, Italy, Israel, India, China, Vietnam, Brazil and the USA – concur that Polysulphate is a fantastic source of sulphur for crops. Uptake of Polysulphate nutrients by crops was found to be as good as, if not better than, the standard already used in the field. The results confirm Polysulphate’s effectiveness as a multi-nutrient fertilizer.

4. It’s a stamp of geological history

Polyhalite was formed during the evaporation of prehistoric seas in the Permian period. Around 260 million years ago, Boulby Mine (the world’s only polyhalite mine) sat on the edge of the Zechstein Sea. The hot and dry conditions of the environment meant the sea evaporated quicker than it could be re-filled, leaving behind polyhalite, halite and potash minerals.

This phenomenon happened around about the same time as the Earth’s greatest extinction event known, with up to 96% of all marine species and 70% of terrestrial land species becoming extinct. 260 million years later, in the 21st century, we mine these minerals that were deposited back then. Travelling to the polyhalite layer of rock over 1,000 metres below the North Sea is like travelling backwards through geological history.

5. It’s approved for organic agriculture

Polyhalite is available in its natural form. Preparing it for the market as Polysulphate involves no chemical separation or other industrial processes, meaning it is a low carbon footprint fertilizer – it’s natural, organic and sustainable. Polysulphate has been approved by many global bodies for organic use.

E.U. – Approved for organic farming according to Regulation (CE) N° 834/2007 of the Council 28 June 2007
U.K. – Certified for organic farming by the Soil Association and the Organic Farmers and Growers since 2012
USA – Polysulphate Standard Grade is OMRI listed for organic use
Canada – Polysulphate Standard Grade is OMRI listed for organic use
Italy – Product listed in the BIO fertilizers Italian register as per D. Lgs. 75/2010
Germany – Registered in the list of production facilities for organic farming in Germany by FiBL (Research Institute of Organic Agriculture)

6. It has fantastic spreading characteristics

Polysulphate consistently spreads to 36m with a low Coefficient of Variation (CV). It has been tested for spreading performance with CEMIB® in Clermont-Ferrand IRSTEA Center, France. Trials carried out in France, Germany and Denmark all confirmed an excellent overlapped spread pattern of granular Polysulphate at a 32m bout width, with a variation coefficient of 4.3, and good spreadability up to 36m.

7. It’s suitable for chloride-sensitive crops

Polyhalite has low content of the crop nutrient chloride, making it an ideal choice for use on crops sensitive to chloride, including many fruit crops, berries, vegetables, field crops (potato and tobacco), flowers and coffee.

Polysulphate™ (=Polyhalite) fertilizer is a soluble, easily-absorbed, cost effective answer to crop nutrition, containing four key plant nutrients:

sulphur
potassium
magnesium
calcium

Innovative and highly versatile, this natural, multi-nutrient mineral is low in chloride and crop safe, suitable for use alone or in blends and compound fertilizers.

IC Potash Announces Retention of Consultant to Complete Technical Report on Updated Feasibility Study of Ochoa Project, Investigation of Opportunities to Monetize Water Assets, and Extension of Warrants Expiring May 20, 2017 to Non-Insiders

TORONTO May 19, 2017
IC Potash Corp. (TSX: ICP; OTCQB: ICPTF) ("IC Potash" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has retained Resource Development Inc. ("RDI") and Gustavson Associates, both based in Denver, Colorado, to finalize the compilation of the work done on the updated feasibility study for the Ochoa Project and generate a NI 43-101 compliant technical report. The Company anticipates the report will be available before the end of the second quarter.
The Company has also been advised that the United States Department of the Interior has upheld the granting of permits and leases for the Ochoa Project which will enable Intercontinental Potash Corp. (USA) ("ICPUSA") to seek project financing on more favourable terms for the benefit of all shareholders, including the Company.

In addition, modeling undertaken within the Preliminary Economic Study and 43-101 compliant Technical Report dated October 28, 2016, has indicated that the water resources contained in the Capitan Reef Complex aquifer located beneath the Ochoa Project area will not be fully required for production. On this basis, the Company has begun exploring possible opportunities for consideration by ICPUSA to generate revenue from these water resources. The Company believes that there is significant potential for revenue generation.

intercontinental potash corp. brings civil suit in colorado to set aside capital call, alleging conflicts of interests by certain directors of intercontinental potash corp. (usa) affiliated with cartesian capital group - peter yu and paul hong - as well a

DENVER, COLORADO -- (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — May 30, 2017 — Intercontinental Potash Corp., a subsidiary of IC Potash Corp. (TSX: ICP; OTCQB: ICPTF) (“IC Potash” or the “Company”) filed a civil lawsuit in Denver County District Court, Colorado, against Intercontinental Potash Corp. (USA), a Colorado corporation, Pangaea Two Acquisition Holdings XI, LLC, and Pangaea Two Acquisition Holdings XIB, LLC. Intercontinental Potash Corp., Pangaea Two Acquisition Holdings XI, LLC, and Pangaea Two Acquisition Holdings XIB, LLC are the shareholders of Intercontinental Potash Corp. (USA), a development-stage producer of potassium sulfate, a speciality fertilizer for high-value crops in arid or saline soil environments.

Through the Colorado lawsuit, Intercontinental Potash Corp. has requested that the Colorado court set aside a "capital contribution call" in the amount of $800,000, alleging that the "capital contribution call" was not properly authorized by operative agreements, nor did it comply with Colorado law. Intercontinental Potash Corp. further alleges that the "capital contribution call" was pursued and improperly passed by certain directors of Intercontinental Potash Corp. (USA), including Peter Yu and Paul Hong who are also principals of Cartesian Capital Group, LLC, the manager of the two Pangaea entities named in the lawsuit - both of whom allegedly had disclosed and undisclosed conflicts of interest.

IC Potash Corp. receives formal offer to sell Capitan Reef Complex Aquifer water rights. Revenue potential of USD 4M-6M Annually

Toronto, ON -- (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — June 12, 2017 —IC Potash Corp. (TSX: ICP; OTCQB: ICPTF) (“IC Potash” or the “Company”) is extremely pleased to announce that ICP and Intercontinental Potash Corp. (USA) (“ICPUSA”) have received a formal offer from the company H20 of Lea County (“H20”) to purchase ICPUSA’s Capitan Reef Complex Aquifer water.

H20 is committed to building the required infrastructure and providing the equipment costing approximately USD$2M at no cost to ICPUSA. The potential annual revenue for ICPUSA is USD$4M to USD$6M under the proposed offer by H20.

Mehdi Azodi, President & CEO of IC Potash stated, “We are pleased to receive such a positive proposal for the highly valuable Capitan Reef Complex Aquifer water asset”.

H20 will be responsible for identifying, purchasing, and installing the required pumps, treatment facilities, pipelines, electrical power, storage facilities and related infrastructure. The ongoing operations and related monthly cost of electricity, labor, maintenance and process chemicals will be carried out by H20.

Oil producers require 160,000 to 200,000 barrels of water per well to fracture multiple formations. There are multiple wells completed each month in South East New Mexico. H20’s expectation is that ICPUSA’s water wells, located about 10 miles northeast of the Ochoa Project, drilled and available for pumping and distribution, will provide water for approximately seven fracturing jobs per month.
The proposal has been submitted to the board of ICPUSA and is valid until July 10, 2017.

Message from ICP...
Thank you for your note during these tough times.

The share price and chart are not what I had in mind, however these are turbulent times. ICP launched litigation against two directors of the Subsidiary who are acting in the best interest of their own investment fund and the markets certainly do not like litigation or anything of that nature.

The shareholder base is changing hands and the battle to protect the asset is taking place. The board and myself are engaged and very aggressive to ensure value is created.

I thank you for your patience and please email or call with any questions you may have.

Thank you
Mehdi

ic potash and cartesian enter into letter of intent regarding ochoa deposit

TORONTO and NEW YORK – (Globe Newswire) – August 8, 2017 – IC Potash Corp. (TSX: ICP; OTCQB: ICPTF) ( “IC Potash”, ICP or the “Company”) and Cartesian Capital Group, LLC (“Cartesian”) announced today the entrance into a binding letter of intent (the “LOI”) regarding the indirect ownership of ICP in Intercontinental Potash Corp. (USA) (“ICPUSA”). ICPUSA (in which ICP holds an interest through common shares) fully owns the Ochoa Sulphate of Potash project.

Under the LOI, ICPUSA will, subject to the shareholder vote of the shareholders of ICP, redeem those of its common shares that are indirectly owned ICP. This transaction represents the sale by ICP to Cartesian affiliates of ICP’s indirect ownership in the Ochoa Project.

The Board of Directors of ICP estimate the value of the proceeds of disposition to be approximately USD$15 million dollars.
The proposed consideration is composed as follows:

USD $1.4 Million in cash funded by Cartesian promptly upon release of executed settlement and transaction documents;
A Promissory Note of USD $1.4 Million due to ICP, directly or indirectly, by ICPUSA, to be guaranteed by Cartesian, and due on January 8, 2018;
A water royalty equal to 75 % of the revenue of ICPUSA derived from all sales of water and/or water rights to an aggregate of USD$12.2 million. The water royalty will be backed up by a Mining Royalty of 1%, in the event that the full USD12.2 million is not received by December 31, 2022. ICPUSA will agree to use all reasonable commercial efforts to source and enter into agreements to sell the water resources as soon as reasonably practicable. The Board of Directors of ICP note that water is in great demand in New Mexico and Texas due to the large oil and gas fracturing industries in the United States.
As part of the agreement, which is subject to final documentation and shareholder approval, existing litigation between the parties and their affiliates would be settled and associated claims released.

Mehdi Azodi, the President and Chief Executive Officer of ICP Canada stated: “The potash markets have been in a substantial downturn since 2012. The Cartesian affiliates have taken a long-term view on the value of Polyhalite and Sulphate of Potash, and are committed to continuing to fund the Ochoa Project from private capital sources. ICP has attempted to find alternative financing for its share of the capital in private as well as public markets, under terms that are value-added to the common shareholders. Given the market capitalization of ICP, and the bearish current perspective of public investors in the Canadian junior potash space for development companies which require substantial capital, it has not been possible for us to continue to maintain the Company’s financial interest in the project by funding our share of capital requirements. Therefore, the Company has determined that the sale of its interest in the project, at an estimated value of USD $15 million to the Cartesian affiliates, is the best option to maintain or increase shareholder value under present circumstances.”

Mehdi Azodi continued: “The Board of Directors of IC Potash Corp. appreciates the ongoing efforts of Cartesian, which commenced in late 2014, in the financing and moving forward of the Lea County Polyhalite asset. We believe that upon the completion of the build, which yet requires substantial capital, a profitable and unique fertilizer asset will have been developed for the benefit of the agricultural industry of the United States and for the benefit of the State of New Mexico.”

Peter Yu, Managing Partner of Cartesian stated: "This transaction will enable us to accelerate the development of the Ochoa Project and build a world-class producer of specialty fertilizer. We are grateful to our partners at ICP Canada, and the strong leadership of its CEO Mehdi Azodi, for all of their efforts in developing this important resource.”
