Currie Scadding optionee drills 19.29 m of 12.9 g/t Au

Currie Rose Resources Inc. optionee Trueclaim Exploration Inc. has released results on the Scadding property in Sudbury. In order to acquire a 51-per-cent interest in the Scadding gold property, Trueclaim is required to maintain the property in good standing, spend a total of $2-million over a period of three years and issue a total of 450,000 common shares in the capital of Trueclaim to Currie Rose in equal instalments of 150,000 shares per year over a period of three years. It has paid Currie Rose an amount of $110,000, on closing. Trueclaim will be the operator of the project during the period of the option. Trueclaim can increase its interest in the Scadding gold property from 51 per cent to 100 per cent upon commencement of a mine production plan by paying a total of $2-million to Currie Rose and a 3-per-cent net smelter return royalty.

Trueclaim Exploration Inc. has released the results from its recent phase I drill program at its Scadding gold property near Sudbury, Ont. John Carter, the president of Trueclaim, summarized the results by noting, "This initial phase of drilling produced multiple high-grade gold intercepts across significant lengths in holes throughout the five zones (North, South, Central, East-West and New zones).

"As exploration programs go in Canada today we believe these results offer outstanding potential for Scadding, particularly given that the areas explored only represent a small portion of the 41,000 acres held by the company," added Mr. Carter

Major intercepts

The phase 1 program consisted of 30 NQ drill holes totalling 3,275 metres spread across all five zones. The four surrounding zones (North, South, New and East-West), as well as all of the drilling done in phase I lie within a 400-metre radius of the Central zone. All assays are now complete and the attached table summarizes the major intercepts from 15 of the holes. As the table indicates, gold assays within the holes ranged from two to 100 plus grams per tonne over both short and extended intervals. Some of the most significant intercepts occurred in the following eight holes: TRM-09-02; TRM09-03; TRM-09-06; TRM09-13; TRM 10-02; TRM-10-06; TRM-10-07; and TRM-10-10. For example, TRM-10-07 in the North zone produced an average value of 12.9 grams per tonne across more than 19 metres (63 feet) of depth. Interspersed within this length values ran from 25 to 106 grams per tonne. Visible gold was also scattered throughout the length of this hole, as well as in at least four other holes in the program. As the attached table also notes, assays of significant value were also seen in multiple other targets and intersections. In an additional comment Mr. Carter noted, "These intercepts and grades fully justified the phase I program and have provided the company with a compelling reason to proceed with our phase II drill plans."

Zone mineralization

The drill program was initiated on Nov. 10, 2009, and was completed in late January, 2010. The final assays were provided on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010. The assay process included a metallic screen analysis component on some samples to provide additional information and value that might go otherwise undetected. As noted in the company's last news release in Stockwatch, the visible gold, high-grade gold intercepts and similar chlorite-brecciated alteration suggests that the Scadding mineralization may have some continuity between and across all five zones drilled. Further additional chlorite alteration off the minesite is also probable based on the presence of chlorite float boulders. Aside from the confirmation of gold-bearing rock, a number of holes were drilled to identify the location of important faults and contacts rather than to find mineralization. In conducting the overall program, the company's project geologist Bob Komarechka, PGeo, stated, "The use of Surpac, the 3-D modelling software acquired by the company, was instrumental in targeting the mineralized zones we encountered, and provided a high degree of certainty as the drill program was carried out."

previously reported.

conventional fire assay.

Additional drilling

With the assay results of phase I now complete, the company is preparing to launch the phase II drill program in early summer, 2010. Mr. Komarechka stated, "Our goals in phase II will be to explore all of the mineralized zones encountered in phase I as well as some of the previous underground workings where high grades were recovered (historical non-compliant NI 43-101), confirm zone-to-zone continuity of mineralization, investigate the potential for the historic mined mineralization to be open at depth and develop estimates of a compliant resource for the site." As also noted in the company's most recent prior news release in Stockwatch, phase II will proceed in a logical fashion taking into consideration information acquired in the 3-D visualizations, weather, drill availability and corporate development plans.

Geologic environment

The former Scadding gold mine is located in rocks of Huronian stratigraphy, consisting of the Espanola and Serpent formation with later intrusions of Nipissing gabbros. The gold mineralization in this environment is frequently associated with a hydrothermal chloritic breccia. The breccia occurs more or less within a strataform horizon within the lower Serpent formation. The gold mineralization occurring in the area suggests an erratic distribution in size with localized areas of potential coarse gold. The chlorite is believed to occur in structurally dilated zones surrounded by brecciation. The age of the gold mineralization suggests an association with the 17 Ma granitic intrusive event. At this time no such intrusives have been noted on the minesite.

Quality assurance

Trueclaim has implemented a rigorous quality assurance/quality control program at the Scadding property using best industry practices and supervised by Mr. Komarechka. To ensure data was collected accurately for the 3-D model, each hole was surveyed by a Reflex EZ-Shot borehole survey tool. After drilling, the drill collar locations were tied in by surveying to the area's general map plan survey fabric as located by Global Surveying Services. The program also includes a chain of custody of samples from drill to laboratory. Drill core is sawed in half at the property and for each sample half of the core from 0.5-metre to 1.5-metre length intervals is placed in plastic bags with its labelled water resistant tag and sealed. Standard samples of a similar style gold ore of various grades supplied by an outside independent laboratory or blank samples are inserted into the sample stream every tenth sample. Samples, including the blind blanks and standards, are personally delivered by Trueclaim geologists to AGAT Laboratories preparation laboratory in Sudbury, where signed documentation of their receipt is obtained.

The samples are then shipped by courier for analysis to AGAT Laboratories in Mississauga, Ont. AGAT Laboratories is an accredited laboratory meeting international standards ISO 9001:2000 with certification No. CERT-0032482 and the Canadian Association for Laboratory Accreditation Inc. Standard ISO/IFC170252005 accreditation No. A3200. Duplicate samples and gold metallics were undertaken over selected zones of interest, in some cases by several different labs. Further quality assurance and quality control is being undertaken by third party consultants CCIC Caracle Creek International Consultants.

Samples with visible gold are analyzed using a metallic screen analysis where the ground up sample is screened on a fine mesh with the retained and passed fractions weighed and each analyzed separately. A report is then prepared indicating the weight of each fraction and the final assay determined from the weighted average of the two fractions. This process collects the coarse gold fraction that may have otherwise become flattened during grinding and tossed out with the oversized material. Analysis of samples by AGAT were done by fire assay followed by an ICP-MS finish. Each sample was also assayed using a 49 multi-element analysis to derive information on rock geochemistry alteration in the areas of mineralization.

Conclusion

In closing, Mr. Carter, president of Trueclaim, commented: "We are extremely pleased with the results from this preliminary program. phase 1 was initiated to prove that historical non NI 43-101-compliant gold resources existed in several areas of the property. This has been accomplished and now we look forward to evaluating these and surrounding areas further in a phase II program. Also key to the success of this program was the efficient drilling undertaken by Mallette Drilling, the expeditious assaying undertaken by AGAT Laboratories and the relentless efforts of the Trueclaim team. We would also like to invite everyone to visit us at the PDAC 2010 core shack display at booth No. 5007B and our main floor booth 2618, Session B, to observe our 3-D model in action and view our core with visible gold."

Hallo hbg55,

du scheinst ja ziemlich von CUI.V überzeugt zu sein. Ist echt ein interessanter Wert, bin der Meinung da könnte was gehen.

Habe leider im Moment kein Cash, sonst würde ich mir mal eine kleine Posi gönnen, tja mal schauen wie sich die Aktie weiter entwickelt, wenn es in ein paar Wochen noch nicht zu spät ist, werde ich vielleicht noch zuschlagen

nur ALLEIN schon beim SCADDING - proj. mit weiterhin
spannenden resultaten. dies geht auch schon aus der meldung
vom 23.02.2010 hervor, wo wir nachfolg. lesen können........

tja, heute war mächtig was los an den Märkten, wo man schaut nur grün wird einem bald unheimlich bin mal gespannt, wie die Märkte sich weiter entwickeln, muss doch bald noch mal ein Rücksetzer kommen...

Currie Rose Resources Inc.: Private Placement

ST. CATHERINES, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 20, 2010) - Currie Rose Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:CUI) intends to complete a non-brokered private placement consisting of up to 10,833,333 units at a price of $0.06 per unit for gross proceeds of up to $650,000. Each unit shall consist of one common share of the Company and one-half of one share purchase warrant, each whole warrant entitling the holder thereof to purchase one additional common share at a price of $0.10 for a period of 18 months from the closing date.

The expiry date of the warrants will be accelerated to shorten the exercise period to 30 days should the shares of the Company trade at $0.20 or higher for a period of 20 consecutive trading days. Such acceleration will only occur after the hold period expires.

Finder's fees will be paid equal to 8% cash fee of the total amount raised and 10% of the total Units sold in the form of finder's warrants, whereby one finder's warrant entitles the holder to acquire one Common Share of the Company at $0.10 per share for a period of eighteen months from the date of issue. The finder's warrants will have the same accelerated expiry date provision as the warrants under the private placement.

Proceeds from the financing will be used to advance the Company's Mabale "Sisu River" gold project in Tanzania.

A series of grab samples from Artisanal pits on the Sisu River prospect that forms part of the 100-per-cent-owned Mabale Hills project in Tanzania, East Africa were previously disclosed in a news release dated March 8, 2010. A total of 13 samples were collected from in situ material,consisting of sheared/silicified quartz porphyry with minor pyrite and arsenopyrite accessory minerals. The sample area contains numerous artisanal pits, covering an area of approximately 150 metres by 30 metres, with colluvial overburden approximately two to three metres deep.

Of the 13 samples collected, six returned better than five g/t gold, with a high of 89.2 g/t, while a further five samples returned grades between one g/t gold to five g/t gold. Only two samples returned values below one g/t gold.

Jemand noch hier? Wie sieht es mit Zukunft aus. Land und Projekte ist ja da. Ueberraschungen bei naechsten drilling moglich. Ich glaube es ist Zeit gekommen hier mal einzusteigen. 0.04 CAD und 2M Market Cap ist schon sehr wenig. Also ich sehe hier mindesten 3-bagger. Bin @0.04 eingestiegen. Was froh macht ist dass diese Aktie kann nicht mehr tief fallen weil wir sind schon fast am Boden. In 2008 Aktie war eine kleine Weile 0.02 Wert, aber wenn auch diese Tiefs kommen finde ich es nicht so schlim in vergleich mit potential nach oben.

Guten morgen,

an Gewinnmitnahmen ist noch niemand verarmt... Natürlich sind bei dem Anstieg Rücksetzer
MÖGLICH. Aufgrund der realistischen Möglichkeit in einer 2.CAN investiert zu sein hätte ICH wenn überhaupt einen Teilverkauf vorgezogen...
Halte es in diesem Fall aber wie hbg und bleibe voll investiert.

Thanks to CAN, interest in Tanzanian penny stocks is exploding.

CUI is an easy double form here and could easily go to 30 cents.

Get in early folks.
Sell half your shares when the price doubles and hold the rest till the company starts producing.

Ooops, almost forgot to mention that CUI has the most interesting land in Tanzania right next to Barricks gold mine

Eigentlich beeinflusse ich mich nicht von der Posters in stockhouse foren aber mehr entscheide mich selbst nach Erfahrung. Diesmal war es volume 7M was mich vorsichtig gemacht hat. Vielleicht werde ich noch nachkaufen wenn es tiefer geht und es tut ja schon. Wir sind bei 0.08. Sollte es weiter bis 0.05 gehen werde ich noch mal kaufen.

Charttechnisch ist mir heute was sehr interessantes aufgefallen!!!
Leider kann ich keinen fixen chart vom 26. 08 2010 reinstellen

aber was ich bemerkt habe (alles Toronto-Zeit):

09.30 - 10.15 um 9.30 ist dienstbeginn, alle treffen sich im cafe ums eck, einer läuft ins büro die tasche raufbringen, und macht einen schnellen trade, damit der chef glaubt alle sind da

11.30 - 12.45 Mittagessen

14.30 - 15.15 Kaffee und Kuchen , inkl. Gespräch wo man sich einen Tisch für das abendessen reservieren soll, beginnt eigentlich um 14.15, aber 14.30 ein trade mit dem i-phone zwecks anwesenheit

Pinetree Capital Ltd. (TSX: PNP), announces that on September 10, 2010, it acquired ownership of 2,500,000 common shares ("Common Shares") and 1,250,000 common share purchase warrants (the "Warrants") of Currie Rose Resources Inc. ("Currie Rose"). Each Warrant entitles the holder thereof to acquire one additional common share at a price of $0.10 until March 10, 2012. In the event that the Warrants are fully exercised, these holdings represent approximately 4.7% of the total issued and outstanding common shares of Currie Rose as of September 10, 2010, calculated on a partially diluted basis assuming the exercise of the Warrants only.

ST. CATHARINES, ONTARIO, Oct. 19, 2010 (Marketwire) -- Mr. Harold Smith of Currie Rose (TSX VENTURE:CUI) reports that Trueclaim has announced they will begin drilling on the Company's Scadding property in Sudbury, Ontario.

In order to acquire a 51-per-cent interest in the Scadding gold property, Trueclaim Exploration is required to maintain the property in good standing, spend a total of $2-million over a period of three years and issue a total of 450,000 common shares in the capital of Trueclaim to Currie Rose in equal installments of 150,000 shares per year over a period of three years and has paid to Currie Rose an amount of $110,000 paid on closing. Trueclaim will be the operator of the project during the period of the option.

Trueclaim can increase its interest in the Scadding gold property from 51 per cent to 100 per cent upon commencement of a mine production plan by paying a total of $2-million to Currie Rose and a 3-per-cent net smelter return royalty.

St. Thomas, Ontario - Trueclaim Exploration Inc. (TSX-VENTURE: TRM) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that Mallette Drilling Inc. has been contracted and will immediately commence a drill program consisting of 2,000 metres on the East Wanapitei Property to test showings peripheral to and on the Scadding mine site. A diamond drill is scheduled to arrive today. An additional diamond drilling program of approximately 8,000 metres is being planned for the Scadding mine site area.

Drill Program - East Wanapitei Property

Drilling on the peripheral showings is scheduled to start this week to test targets identified during the Company's successful summer exploration program. The summer program included an airborne radiometric, triaxial gradient magnetometer and triaxial VLF survey followed by prospecting some of the many identified targets. Three selected sites were sampled, mapped, stripped, washed and channel sampled. The sites had local grids cut, followed by induced polarization and magnetometer surveys which are currently being completed. The Company holds two of these sites under option from prospector Terry Loney and has the right to earn a 100% working interest and the third site is 100% owned subject to a 1% NSR.

The initial drill target will be the East Red Rock Occurrence where noncompliant-NI43-101 records report drill results of 0.17 opt (5.829 g/t) gold over 3.05 metres and a bulk sample of 2,500 tonnes reported to yield 0.27 opt (9.257 g/t) gold and up to 7% copper. In addition a new showing containing massive pyrite with cobaltite with one sample assaying 2.65 g/t gold and another with 1.8 g/t gold with 0.2% cobalt. The recent IP data just received shows another large chargeable and resistive anomaly that may be continuous with the known zone of chalcopyrite bearing breccia bulk sampled.

The second target will test the platinum potential of the East Jerome Showing where anomalous nickel, copper and PGM values have been recorded in a zone of magmatic segregation within a gabbro. Surface channel cut samples of disseminated sulphides collected by Trueclaim have run as high as 3.66 g/t palladium, 0.567 g/t, platinum, 0.308 g/t gold, 0.7% copper and 0.29% nickel. A previous surface sample assay collected by Flag Resources at this site yielded 4.35 g/t platinum palladium combined and 1.28% nickel.

The third target will be the Inclined Copper Shaft where abundant malachite and azurite were apparent in a large quartz vein recorded by the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines as a copper-gold occurrence.

The drill will then be moved to the Scadding Mine Site. The Scadding site produced 914 kg of gold from 127,000 tonnes of ore grading 7.2 g/t Au (grams per tonne gold) (or 29,400 ounces of gold from 139,742 short tons of ore grading 0.21 ounces/ton) during the period from 1984 to 1990. (Information supplied by historical sources the Company believes reliable). The Company completed its phase one drill program in February 2010. The company felt it was very successful in that it confirmed the presence of significant gold values including visible gold in 5 holes, confirmed past drilling results, outlined potential new targets, and enabled us to build a detailed 3D model to provide a better understanding of the mineralization on the Scadding site. Some of the highlights of the past program are listed in the table below.

Our geological team has taken the data from phase one and is building a series of targets for our proposed 8,000 metre program. Some of the objectives of this program will be to test continuity between known gold-bearing zones and to drill under existing underground workings where previous noncompliant-NI43-101 drill results indicated high grade gold values. One of the areas to be drilled will be under the East-West Zone where some of the highest gold values to on the property were obtained.

Harold Smith reports that drilling will commence on October 23, 2010 on the Company's 100% owned Sisu River property in Tanzania. The Mabale Hills project consists of five licenses and one application covering 261 square km and includes the Sisu River, Mwamazengo and Dhahabu properties.

The first phase program will consist of 3000 meters RC drilling, with an immediate 3000 meter follow-up program based on results.

In the fall of 2009 it was discovered that approximately 50 Artisanal miners were digging pits and mining on the Sisu River property. The Company's geologist collected random samples from the pits and sent them in for assay.

The spring rains of 2010 flooded the pits and the miners have left the property.

A total of 13 samples were collected from insitu material consisting of sheared/silicified quartz porphyry with minor pyrite and arsenopyrite accessory minerals. The sample area contains numerous artisanal pits, covering an area of approximately 150m x 30m with colluvial overburden approximately two to three meters deep.

Of the thirteen samples collected, six returned better than 5 g/t gold with a high of 89.2 g/t whilst a further five samples returned grades between 1-5 g/t gold. Only two samples returned values below 1g/t gold.

The Sisu River prospect is approximately two kilometres from and within the same geological structure as the Mwamazengo discovery.

Currie Rose Resources: Discovery Coming Soon At Mabale Hills?

Currie Rose Resources‘ (CUI, TSX-V) Mabale Hills Project is located in the heart of the renowned Lake Victoria Greenstone Belt in northwest Tanzania, surrounded by some major mines and deposits including AngloGold‘s multi-million ounce Geita open-pit operation. There’s no denying the geological potential of Mabale Hills which is why Currie Rose’s current drill program at Sisu River has us so excited – the chance of a significant discovery is very real. And news could come almost any day.

Currie Rose announced, toward the end of today’s trading session, that 14 holes and nearly 1500 metres of drilling have been completed to date at Sisu River, 8 kilometres northeast of the company’s Mwamazengo discovery. “Good source rocks have been intersected beneath the ‘mbuga’ clays and assays from initial holes are pending.” The assay lab Currie Rose is using is less than an hour’s drive from Mabale Hills, so initial results could come very quickly – drilling started over 3 weeks ago and CUI has delivered results within a month before.

Currie Rose got really fired up over Sisu River after a discovery at the property by artisanal miners in the fall of last year. The company’s geologist, who has a long and very successful track record in Tanzania, collected random grab samples from the discovery area and got grades as high as 89 g/t Au. The current Phase 1 reverse circulation drill program is focused on an area (150 m x 30 m) that was extensively prospected near-surface by these local miners, and drilling will test the extent of Gold mineralization to depths between 100 and 125 metres. The Sisu River target is hosted within felsic volcanic rocks, considered to be highly prospective for Gold mineralization in greenstone belts.

Currie Rose’s very first hole at Mwamazengo in 2005 intersected 32 metres near-surface (4 metres to 36 metres) grading 3.70 g/t Au – more stellar results followed that. Will we see a repeat of that success at Sisu River? Anything’s possible – the geological environment is ideal.

We expect Sisu River and Mwamazengo to generate a lot of excitement in the year ahead. But those two properties are just part of the Currie Rose equation. The company is soon starting a large amount of pre-drilling work at its massive Sekenke Gold Project, approximately 200 kilometres southeast of Mabale Hills. This land package runs in between and surrounds two former producing mines from the first half of the 1900′s – Sekenke and Kirondatal. As Osisko, Gold Bullion and many others have found out, the best place to find a new mine is near an old mine – the Sekenke Project has incredible potential as Currie Rose outlined in its news release today:

“Recent exploration by Currie Rose has identified a highly prospective structure (12 km x 800 m) within a shear zone on the margins of a large granite intrusion that hosts numerous quartz reefs of the same type that developed at the nearby former mines.”

The quartz reef structure that Currie Rose has discovered is actually significantly larger than those which were outlined at the former high grade mines.

“The potential of the identified quartz reefs in the shear zone (extending from the former Sekenke mine) to host high grade gold is indicated by the encouraging assays returned for rock chip samples and also by the fact that highly anomalous gold grades were obtained from streams that drain the target structure. The coarse grained gold that is currently panned from the streams by artisanal miners is assumed to have been derived from the nearby shear zone (probably from the quartz reefs hosted within it).”

We first brought Currie Rose to the attention of BMR readers when it was trading at a dime in September. We added it to the BMR Portfolio in late October at 16 cents.

Currie Rose has a terrific chance to become the next Gold Bullion Development (GBB, TSX-V) in the BMR Portfolio. We made the right call with GBB in December of last year, with the company making a very significant discovery at Granada, and we believe Currie Rose could be on the verge of doing the same at Sisu River and elsewhere on its large land holdings in Tanzania. CUI is getting aggressive and that’s great news for long-time shareholders who have been waiting for this day when the company turned things up a few notches to unlock the value of its East African Gold assets.

Currie Rose Resources (TSX VENTURE: CUI) is pleased to provide a progress report on the Company's exploration activities in the prolific Lake Victoria Greenstone Belt of northwest Tanzania. Currie Rose has been active in this area since 2005 and will be aggressively exploring its Mabale Hills and Sekenke Gold Projects over the coming months. Numerous priority targets have been identified that Company geologists believe offer the potential of major exploration upside.

Mabale Hills Gold Project:

At Mabale Hills, a project that covers 260 square kilometers, Currie Rose has completed a total of 14 reverse circulation (RC) holes for 1,447 metres of a planned 3,000 metre drill program at the Sisu River Gold Property, 8 km northeast of the Company's Mwamazengo discovery.

The Sisu River target is hosted within felsic volcanic rocks and was identified by rock chip and pit sampling that returned impressive grades as outlined by Currie Rose in its October 21, 2010, news release. Drilling is focused on an area measuring 150 m x 30 m that has been extensively prospected near-surface by artisanal miners. Drilling is testing the extent of gold mineralization discovered at Sisu River to depths of approximately 100 to 125 metres. Good source rocks have been intersected beneath the "mbuga" clays and assays from initial holes are pending.

Currie Rose geologists are very encouraged by the prospects for Mwamazengo and are planning a follow-up drill program at that property. The Dhahabu Prospect, eight kilometers north of Mwamazengo, is another area of major interest. The Company will also be searching for additional targets at Mabale Hills as only a small portion of this large land package has been systematically explored.

Sekenke Gold Project:

The Sekenke Project, approximately 200 kilometres from Mabale Hills at the southeastern end of the Lake Victoria Greenstone Belt, is strategically located and under-explored. The nearly 300 square kilometre land package surrounds the former Sekenke and Kirondatal mines, significant producers during the first half of the 1900's. Recent exploration by Currie Rose has identified a highly prospective structure (12 km x 800 m) within a shear zone on the margins of a large granite intrusion that hosts numerous vertical quartz reefs of the same type that developed at the nearby former mines.

The Company's immediate plans are to acquire high resolution satellite imagery of the Sekenke Project, accompanied by a geological and alteration study, in advance of ground based IP/resistivity geophysics to further define the identified structure in preparation for drill testing in the spring. In addition, other geophysical methods such as airborne radiometrics and magnetic surveys are also under consideration.

Currie Rose, which has an option to earn up to a 70% interest in the Sekenke Project, believes this project offers excellent potential and could quickly progress from the advanced grass-roots stage of exploration to a significant discovery based on the following:

1. Proximity to former colonial mines - Currie Rose's land package runs in
between and surrounds two past producing high grade mines;

2. Favorable geology - the Sekenke Project has a similar geological
signature to the former Sekenke and Kirondatal mines;

3. Identified target - the potential of the identified quartz reefs in the
shear zone (extending from the former Sekenke mine) to host high grade
gold is indicated by the encouraging assays returned for rock chip
samples and also by the fact that highly anomalous gold grades were
obtained from streams that drain the target structure. The coarse
grained gold that is currently panned from the streams by artisanal
miners is assumed to have been derived from the nearby shear zone
(probably from the quartz reefs hosted within it).

Schon mal gedacht, dass ich bei .40 ein paar hergegeben habe und bei .31 bereits wieder rein bin. Mann nennt dies Gewinnmaximierung.

Zudem Gewinne hergeben sind nie was schlechtes. Gewinne realisieren und in was neues stecken; so wird das Portfolio garantiert auf Dauer immer grösser.....

ich denke der weitere kursverlauf hängt sowieso von den bohrresultaten ab. Siehe den Anstieg von .04 auf .20 Ende 2009....Und der Absturz danach......Bohrresultate nicht so gewesen, wie sie sein sollten zum glück, sonst wäre ich nicht dort eingestiegen als alle raus sind.

jetzt mal langsam, Currie Rose Res. mit einer Shell Company zu vergleichen, ist wie ich finde schon ziemlich weit hergeholt.

Warte noch ein bisschen, ich denke die Results werden Anfang/Mitte Januar veröffentlicht und dann, wenn die Ergebnisse gut ausfallen, werden wir hier noch ganz andere Kurse sehen...

Außerdem, stehen auch noch News vom Sudbury/Ontario Drill Programm an, die vielleicht auch noch im Januar veröffentlicht werden...

BMR Interviews Currie Rose President/CEO

Currie Rose Resources (CUI, TSX-V) came out with news yesterday and the stock plunged 31% to close at 23.5 cents. Combined volume on the CDNX and ALPHA markets was a whopping 23 million shares, so there were obviously some eager buyers to soak up the selling. The stock has stabilized this morning and as of 12:30 pm Eastern time it’s down 2.5 cents at 21 cents, just very slightly below its rising 100-day moving average (SMA).

Speculators hoping for a “glory hole” from the company’s Sisu River Gold Property in northwest Tanzania were disappointed and fled the scene yesterday. However, the results were still quite encouraging for a first-pass drill program at this property and a major follow-up campaign will take place beginning in the spring.

Sisu River forms just part of Currie Rose’s 260-square kilometre Mabale Hills Project which holds considerable upside exploration potential (a significant discovery less than 10 kilometres southwest of Sisu River is being followed up on this spring as well). In addition, Currie Rose is making preparations for a major drill program this spring at its Sekenke Gold Project which is approximately 200 kilometres southeast of Mabale Hills. Sekenke is an even larger land package and what excites us is that it surrounds and runs in between two former producing high-grade mines including the Sekenke Mine, one of Tanzania’s original Gold mines. Currie Rose has already identified a very promising structure (12 km by 800 metres) within a shear zone on the margins of a large granite intrusion that hosts numerous quartz reefs of the same type and even larger than those that developed at the nearby historic mines.

Currie Rose has another Gold property as well near Sudbury, Ontario (the “Scadding Property”), where an 8,000 metre drill program is just starting. Trueclaim Exploration (TRM, TSX-V) is the operator and has an option to earn a 51% interest in Scadding.

There is strong technical support for the stock in the low 20′s which we view as a potentially extremely favorable entry point – the long-term bullish uptrend with Currie Rose remains intact on the charts.

Currie Rose Resources is pleased to announce it has entered into a joint venture agreement with Australian-based Liontown Resources Limited (ASX: LTR) to develop Currie Rose's Jubilee Reef Gold Project in northwest Tanzania. Jubilee Reef is located along the same Archaean greenstone-granite terrain that hosts a number of world class gold deposits.

The agreement allows Liontown Resources to earn as much as a 75% interest in the project by completing a definitive feasibility study. Liontown can first earn a 51% interest by drilling a minimum of 5,000 metres at Jubilee this year (scheduled to commence in the second quarter) and an additional 10,000 metres by no later than December 31, 2013. Liontown must spend a minimum $50,000 on a four-month data review for drill target definition.

Previous exploration including soil sampling and shallow drilling has defined several gold anomalies at Jubilee Reef that are open along strike and effectively untested at depth. The more advanced of these anomalies include:

-- Shangaza-Panapeneza Prospect: A 1 km long gold anomaly defined by 12 RAB
drill holes with an average depth of 46 metres. The RAB drilling
intersected up to 19 metres @ 3.6 g/t Au from 26 metres depth while
limited and deeper RC drilling intersected up to 20 metres @ 1.5 g/t Au
from 123 metres depth.

-- Chela Prospect: A greater than 1 km long gold anomaly defined by five
wide-spaced RAB/Aircore drill holes with an average depth of 32 metres.
Better near-surface intersections include 4 metres @ 3.6 g/t Au and 8
metres @ 1.3 g/t Au. The mineralized trend is open along strike and
remains untested at depth.

-- Masibi Hill Prospect: A greater than 500 metre long gold anomaly defined
by four wide-spaced RAB/Aircore drill holes with an average depth of 26
metres. Numerous holes bottomed in anomalous gold and limited deeper RC
drilling intersected 14 metres grading 1.0 g/t Au from 62 metres depth.
Masibi is open along strike and is largely untested at depth.


Upon a successful further review of Jubilee Reef geological data, which includes airborne aeromagnetic and VTEM surveys, Liontown will proceed with a minimum 5,000 metre Phase 1 drill program. The company holds the right to withdraw from the agreement after its initial data review and target definition expenditure of at least $50,000.

"This win-win joint venture with Liontown allows us to maintain our focus on two major and very exciting projects, Sekenke and Mabale Hills, while at the same time developing another important asset in the area through a strategic partnership," stated Harold Smith, Currie Rose President and CEO. "Added to the minimum 10,000 metres of drilling we've already committed to at Sekenke and Mabale Hills, and the 8,000 metres now underway at our Scadding Gold Property near Sudbury through our partner Trueclaim Exploration, 5,000 metres at Jubilee would give Currie Rose at least 23,000 metres of drilling on its properties in 2011. This will be our most aggressive year ever for exploration. We're looking forward to the advancement of each of these projects."

Currie Rose continues its efforts to define the highest priority targets for its first-ever drill program at Sekenke, a nearly 300 square kilometre land package that runs in between and surrounds two past producing historic high grade mines. In addition, new and historical data for the Mabale Hills Project is being reviewed in preparation for a major drill program there.

Exactly. You have absolutely no influence except for a few small retail investors whose only due dilligence is visiting those boards.

So I wonder why you are trying to mislead people. Anyone with some smarts about trading knows that this is the WORST possible time for selling. There is a LOT a buyers who are just trying to squeeze as many shares as possible out of weak hands. Anyone who can read a chart will tell you the same thing.

Even though it's still possible to slide down to 11 cents, it is extremely unlikely. Some people like numb3rs have absolutely no shame and try to scare people into selling at the worst possible times.

It might not go back in the mid 20ies for little while, but this stock is definitely gonna bounce back... and it's going to happen fast.

Look at OPC and MAA. Both had a huge correction a few weeks ago, and both bounced back over 30 % in a matter of days a couple weeks following the dip...but not before tens of millions of share were dumped by the weaker hands.

There is also the matter of the price of gold which brings much pessimism. We have reached a good resistance at 1330 $/oz tho... but it closes under 1330 things might get messy for a little while.

Mabale Hills Gold Project

Currie Rose has intersected near-surface gold mineralization along a strike length of 300 metres in its first-ever drill program at Sisu River, one of several prospective properties at its 260-square kilometre Mabale Hills Project in the prolific Lake Victoria Greenstone Belt of northwest Tanzania.

Drill hole MBMR-01 returned three metres grading 9.89 g/t Au (including one metre of 28.25 g/t Au) while MBMR-013 intersected 11 g/t Au over three metres (including one metre of 21.25 g/t Au). Six holes in the 2,587-metre reverse circulation (RC) drill program encountered significant gold mineralization while an additional 12 holes also intersected mineralization (low grade). Based on these results, the company has contracted Layne Drilling Tanzania for a major follow-up drill program this spring utilizing a multi-purpose rig (diamond drilling and RC). Currie Rose is also immediately proceeding with a satellite imagery analysis of the Sisu River anomaly which will include a potassium alteration interpretation. A deep penetrating IP survey will also be conducted as soon as weather conditions permit.

"We have outlined a significant near-surface expression at Sisu River with a zone that is open both to the north and the south and at depth," states Michael Griffiths, Currie Rose's consulting geologist. "We've also discovered at least two parallel zones of low grade material suggesting multiple shear zones. Most of the 26 holes were drilled to vertical depths of only 85 to 95 metres. Our goal in Phase 2 will be to drill underneath the encouraging intercepts we found in Phase 1 for the potential of wider zones and higher grade material at vertical depths between 100 and 150 metres. We're optimistic because other deposits in Tanzania show similar near-surface expressions."

Sisu River is approximately six kilometres northeast of Currie Rose's Mwamazengo Property where over 6,000 metres of drilling by the Company has confirmed the presence of a mineralized zone that is continuous for 240 metres along strike and down dip from the surface to approximately 200 metres and remains open at depth. Notable high-grade intercepts from different holes include 12 metres grading 9.11 g/t Au, 31 metres grading 5.97 g/t Au, 34 metres grading 3.60 g/t Au, and 63 metres grading 2.59 g/t Au. The Company is reviewing all of its exploration data regarding Mwamazengo and will be utilizing enhanced geophysical techniques in order to gain a better understanding of this robust mineralized system in preparation for a new drill program this spring.

Only a small portion of the large Mabale Hills Project has been systematically explored. The Company believes the area has strong exploration upside and expects to define a series of promising new regional targets in the near future. Mabale Hills has similar geological characteristics to the multi-million ounce Geita Gold Mine, approximately 65 kilometres to the northeast, where gold is found in shear zones within banded iron formations.

The Sekenke Gold Project, approximately 200 kilometres from Mabale Hills at the southeastern end of the Lake Victoria Greenstone Belt, will be a major focus of Currie Rose's exploration efforts this year. A 5,000 metre Phase 1 drill program will commence this spring at Sekenke, a land package that covers nearly 300 square kilometres and surrounds and runs in between two past producing historic high-grade mines. The Phase 1 drill program, using a multi-purpose rig, will test the highest priority targets derived from an extensive ground-based and airborne geophysical program as well as satellite imagery.

Currie Rose has already identified a highly prospective structure (12 km x 800 metres) within a shear zone on the margins of a large granite intrusion that hosts numerous quartz reefs of the same type and even larger than those that developed at the nearby historic mines.

Scadding Gold Property

The Company is pleased to report that an 8,000 metre Phase 2 drill program is scheduled to commence tomorrow, January 11, at its Scadding Gold Mine Property near Sudbury, Ontario. Trueclaim Exploration, the operator, is absorbing the entire cost of this program as part of its option to earn a 51% interest in the Scadding Project. A promising Phase 1 drill program produced multiple high-grade gold intercepts across significant lengths in holes throughout the five zones identified to date at this former producing mine, including 12.9 g/t Au over 19 metres in TRM-10-07.

Phase 2 drilling at Scadding will target areas of chlorite breccia, the host rock for the gold mineralization, and is designed to confirm zone to zone continuity of mineralization. In addition, previous underground workings where high grades were recovered will be explored to test the potential for a significant extension of this mineralized system at depth.

Due to the exercising of warrants, Currie Rose's working capital has increased to $2 million. CATHARINES, ONTARIO -- Currie Rose (TSX VENTURE:CUI)(PINK SHEETS:CUIRF) is pleased to announce that its 2011 field season in Tanzania is well underway and an initial 10,000 metres of drilling is scheduled to begin this month. The Company has been exploring a land package comprising hundreds of square kilometres in the prolific Lake Victoria Greenstone Belt since 2005. This summer will be the Company's busiest yet as it advances two major projects.

Sekenke Project

A report by Perth-based Earthsan Pty Ltd. has provided Currie Rose with a new satellite imagery interpretation (Landsat 7 ETN imagery) that has identified numerous zones of alteration at Sekenke coupled with strong structural evidence often associated with gold mineralization in the region. Of particular note is that the dominant northwest trending structure that transects Tanzania has been clearly shown to extend from the Handeni Gold District near Dar es Salaam through Sekenke. North-south cross cutting structures have also been identified within the package.

"We'll be drilling Sekenke for the first time ever this summer and we're extremely excited," stated Harold Smith, Currie Rose President and CEO. "This nearly 300-square kilometre land package surrounding two former high grade mines gives us a flagship property that we intend to explore and develop aggressively. We have completed an extensive amount of field work at Sekenke over the past couple of years, including just recently with more to come, and we believe the discovery potential is significant given all the geological evidence we've collected from our own work in addition to historical information. We're proceeding in a careful and systematic fashion with so many potential targets in order to conduct the most efficient and effective drill campaign possible."

Results from new rock and soil sampling at Sekenke are expected in the near future. A deep-penetrating IP (induced polarization) survey will be conducted and then all data will be analyzed in order to pinpoint the most prospective targets for the 5,000 metre Phase 1 program.

Mabale Hills Project

As important ground work continues at Sekenke, drilling will begin at Currie Rose's Mwamazengo Property later this month. Geochemical analysis has outlined a continuous anomaly over a few hundred metres that runs parallel to the west of the Mwamazengo discovery where previous drill results included notable high grade intercepts such as 34 metres grading 3.60 g/t Au, 12 metres grading 9.11 g/t Au, 63 metres grading 2.59 g/t Au, and 31 metres grading 5.97 g/t Au.

Company geologists are eagerly looking forward to revisiting Mwamazengo with a new drill program. The 6,000 metres drilled to date by Currie Rose has outlined a mineralized zone that is continuous for 240 metres along strike and down dip from the surface to approximately 200 metres and remains open at depth.

Elsewhere at Mabale Hills, Currie Rose will be conducting follow-up drilling at Sisu River, six kilometres northeast of Mwamazengo. A first-pass program late last year outlined a significant near-surface expression at Sisu River with a gold zone that is open both to the north and the south and also at depth. Upcoming drilling at Sisu River will target mineralization below that drilled in 2010 and will also seek to extend mineralization along strike.

Drilling will also be conducted at Currie Rose's Dhahabu Prospect, a few kilometres northeast of Sisu River.

Wie die Informationen einzuordnen sind ist eine andere Sache.

Ich bin gelernter Psychologe, somit vorallem intressiert mich vorallem die Wahrnehmung. Jeder lebt halt in seiner eigenen Welt

we’re most excited, however, about the Sekenke Project which has “blue sky” written all over it…

Sekenke is why we decided to start following CUI when it was trading around a dime last fall…

results from satellite imagery provide additional evidence that Sekenke is a highly intriguing geological target and part of the same northwest trending structure that hosts Canaco’s (CAN, TSX-V) Handeni Project…

satellite imagery has also shown that the structures at Sekenke are coincident with a strong alteration envelope…

what’s unique about this project is that it surrounds and runs in between two former high grade Gold mines including Tanzania’s original producer…

this greatly increases the chances of a discovery as it’s unlikely the former mines were fully exploited or explored as techniques a century ago in this industry obviously weren’t what they are today…

CUI has a terrific chance to hit it big at Sekenke and we also wouldn’t be surprised if the company takes a shot at acquiring the former Sekenke Mine…

Trueclaim, which continues to release decent assay results, has earned a 51% interest in Scadding and can acquire a full 100% interest by completing a feasibility study, paying $2 million to Currie Rose, and giving Currie Rose a 3% net smelter royalty…

TRM announced last Tuesday that it has intersected a previously unknown area of Gold mineralization at Scadding with hole #48 assaying 5 metres grading 4.54 g/t Au (from 98 to 103 metres, assumed to be true width)

Hier erfährt man einiges über die Company.
Wer zwischen den Worten liest, kann einiges erfahren. im Teil 2 erwähnt RMB das es alte Daten gibt die 2 Unzen im Gebiet von Sekenke geben soll. CEO sagt natürlich nichts zu dieser Angabe, aber erzählt, dass er denkt, dass hohe Grade dort liegen sollen, relaltiv nahe an Erdoberfläche die einfach zu heben sind... und das ist nur ein Schmakerln aus den Interview (mich mich das beste )

Currie Rose gained a penny last week to close at 17 cents…its resilience in the face of a weak market since the end of July has been impressive…the stock remains in a zone of strong technical support and bids just keep popping up no matter what…John is preparing an updated chart on CUI which we’ll be posting Monday morning… a move through resistance in the low 20′s will require a more bullish overall market or some very good news from Tanzania, and either scenario is certainly possible…the Currie Rose drill continues to turn at Mabale Hills, so a summer of interesting action in CUI is likely though there has been no news since early July…three properties are being drilled at Mabale (Mwamazengo, Dhahabu and Sisu River) before the rig shifts to the flagship Sekenke Project about 200 kilometres to the southeast…CUI‘s first-ever drill program at Sisu River late last year gave reason for encouragement but this time the holes were pushed a little deeper in hopes of cutting wider intersections and higher grades…reading between the lines of the July 5 news release, it’s possible the geologists liked what they saw in the first 3 holes as 506 samples were delivered to a nearby lab for assaying and drilling continued…drilling will also test targets at Dhahabu and Mwamaznego…geochemical analysis has outlined a continuous anomaly over a few hundred metres that runs parallel to the west of a previously reported discovery at Mwamazengo where drill results included notable high-grade intercepts such as 34 metres grading 3.60 grams per tonne gold, 12 metres grading 9.11 g/t Au, 63 metres grading 2.59 g/t Au and 31 metres grading 5.97 g/t Au…we’re most excited, however, about the Sekenke Project which has “blue sky” written all over it…Sekenke is why we decided to start following CUI when it was trading around a dime last fall…results from satellite imagery provide additional evidence that Sekenke is a highly intriguing geological target and part of the same northwest trending structure that hosts Canaco’s (CAN, TSX-V) Handeni Project…satellite imagery has also shown that the structures at Sekenke are coincident with a strong alteration envelope…what’s unique about this project is that it surrounds and runs in between two former high grade Gold mines including Tanzania’s original producer…this greatly increases the chances of a discovery as it’s unlikely the former mines were fully exploited or explored as techniques a century ago in this industry obviously weren’t what they are today…CUI has a terrific chance to hit it big at Sekenke and we also wouldn’t be surprised if the company takes a shot at acquiring the former Sekenke Mine…that’s speculation on our part but it makes sense from a strategic point of view…pre-drilling exploration work continues at Sekenke to pinpoint the best targets…while its Tanzanian properties are the market’s major focus, Currie Rose could also benefit over the summer from continued good exploration news out of Trueclaim Exploration (TRM, TSX-V) which is currently conducting an 8,000 metre drill program at the Scadding Gold Property near Sudbury…Trueclaim, which continues to release decent assay results, has earned a 51% interest in Scadding and can acquire a full 100% interest by completing a feasibility study, paying $2 million to Currie Rose, and giving Currie Rose a 3% net smelter royalty…TRM announced July 26 that it has intersected a previously unknown area of Gold mineralization at Scadding with hole #48 assaying 5 metres grading 4.54 g/t Au (from 98 to 103 metres, assumed to be true width)…about 25 metres below that interval was a 10.25-metre section grading 1.37 g/t Au…TRM has drilled the North Zone, the South Zone and the Currie Rose Zone with promising results (the Central Zone, which could get really interesting, has yet to be drilled)…CUI announced a joint-venture deal January 25 with Australian-based Liontown Resources for Currie’s Jubilee Reef Gold Project in Tanzania…CUI’s focus is on the Sekenke and Mabale Hills Projects, so finding a partner for Jubilee Reef made sense…the deal commits Liontown to at least 5,000 metres of drilling at the property this year which will give Currie Rose a minimum of 23,000 metres of drilling at all of its properties in 2011…while Currie Rose has had its market cap shaved by more than half, from a high of nearly $40 million late last year to the current $15 million, what hasn’t changed is the quality of this company’s project portfolio which remains as high as ever…Currie Rose has all the cash it needs ($2 million) to complete an initial major round of drilling (10,000 metres) in Tanzania this summer, so there will not be any dilution of the stock at current levels as confirmed by President and CEO Harold Smith…

Currie Rose Intersects Sulphide Mineralization in 20 Holes at Mabale Hills / Drilling Shifts to Sekenke Project

ST. CATHARINES, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 08/24/11 -- Mr. Harold Smith reports:

Currie Rose Resources (TSX VENTURE: CUI)(PINK SHEETS: CUIRF) is pleased to report that disseminated sulphide mineralization has been observed in each hole drilled to date at the Sisu River and Dhahabu gold properties that form part of the company's Mabale Hills Project in the prolific Archean Lake Victoria Greenstone Belt of northwest Tanzania. Meanwhile, a drill rig has been mobilized to the Sekenke Property approximately 200 kilometres to the southwest of Mabale Hills as Currie Rose's 10,000-metre summer drill program continues.

Sisu River

Results are pending for 16 reverse circulation (RC) holes (1,934 metres) completed in a Phase 2 program at Sisu River, a target that consists of quartz veins in a north-south structure hosted within a sheared porphyry situated near intrusive granite. This phase of drilling tested depth extensions to the mineralization discovered last winter as well as potential extensions of the known trend. Unlike Phase 1, disseminated sulphide mineralization was observed in all holes in Phase 2.

Dhahabu

The Dhahabu Property, approximately 1.5 kilometres northwest of Sisu River, sits on a NNW-SSE trending chert ridge in a package of banded iron formation (BIF) interbedded with minor amounts of mudstone that underlie the ridge. Four holes targeted an IP anomaly (coincidental high chargeability and resistivity which potentially could be the result of silicification and sulphidation) south of the known near-surface gold mineralization discovered by Currie Rose in a first-stage drill program four years ago. Each of the four RC holes, totaling 556 metres, encountered disseminated sulphide mineralization and assays are pending.

Mwamazengo

Drilling has not yet commenced at Mwamazengo, 6 km southwest of Sisu River, where previous drill holes have returned values of 3.7 g/t Au over 32 metres, 9.11 g/t Au over 12 metres, 2.75 g/t Au over 59 metres and 5.97 g/t Au over 33 metres. Mineralization is hosted within NNW-SSE striking, steeply west-dipping zones that remain open at depth. In addition, a continuous gold anomaly has been identified to the west of the previously drilled area and this parallel zone will be tested during this summer's campaign.

Sekenke Project

Drilling will commence shortly at Sekenke, a large land package that surrounds and runs in between two past producing gold mines. Extensive soil sampling, mapping, geophysics and surface sampling have enabled Currie Rose's geologists to pinpoint numerous highly prospective specific drill targets at Sekenke. These targets include quartz reefs of the same type and even larger than those that developed at the nearby historic Sekenke and Kirondatal mines and are located within a shear zone along a promising 12 km x 800-metre structure.

Previous exploration including soil sampling and shallow drilling has defined several gold anomalies at Jubilee Reef that are open along strike and effectively untested at depth.

Ja, aber ich ärgere mich, dass ich CUI nicht getradet habe damals. Einstieg zu CAD 0,135 und Nachkauf CAD 0,15. War ein guter Moment bei Cad 0,22 zu verkaufen und zuletzt wieder günstieg reinzukommen.

Hätte, wäre, wenn.....immer wieder das gleiche...

Nun harre ich der Dinge, die da bald kommen werden und bin optimistisch!

Wenn ich es richtig verstehe, bedeutet es, dass es bei den Phase zwei drills im gegensatz zu den Phase eins drills überall Mineralisierungen gibt. Da Phase zwei für die Tiefenerweiterungen genutzt wird, scheint nach unten hin "einiges zu gehen" ...

Holes JBRRC018 and JBRRC019 were drilled at the Masabi Hill prospect ( see Figure 3 ) and confirm the down dip extension of extensive gold mineralisation intersected in previous shallow RAB holes ( see Figures 4 and 5 ). The mineralisation remains open along strike to the east and at depth.

Holes JBRRC024 and JBRRC025 were drilled at the Shangaza/Panapendesa prospect ( see Figures 2 and 6 ). JBRRC024 was drilled approximately 50m down dip of a previous intersection of 19m at 3.6g/t gold reported at the bottom of a RAB hole JLRB126 ( see Figure 7 ) while JBRRC025 was drilled approximately 100m along strike to the north-east. The mineralisation remains open along strike to the east and at depth.

The RAB drilling was undertaken at the Masabi Hill prospect ( see Figure 3 ) to test for extensions of a large, 150x500m, east-west trending gold geochemical anomaly which had been partially defined by previous soil sampling and RAB drilling.

The gold mineralisation at Masabi Hill is hosted by a strongly altered granitic intrusion and the recent RAB drilling program was also designed to intersect the previously untested contact with the adjacent greenstone lithologies.

Results from the RAB drilling confirm that strong gold anomalism (>0.1g/t) extend eastwards beneath shallow transported cover for at least another 350m from the previously defined mineralised zone. The latest results are of similar magnitude as that recorded by previous RAB drilling up dip of the intersections in JBRRC018 and JBRRC019 referred to above ( see Figures 4 and 5 ).

Significantly the results in JLRB483, JLRB0498 and JLRB499 ( see Figure 3 ) confirm the potential of granite contact zone to host economic gold mineralisation. The granite contact, which geophysics indicates is at least 3km long on the JV area, is completely covered by shallow transported soil and has only been intersected by the single RAB traverse drilled by Liontown.

Commenting on the results, Liontown's Managing Director, Mr David Richards, said "These are very exciting results for a maiden drilling program and highlight the potential for a major gold system, particularly at Masabi Hill. More RAB drilling is needed to define the extent of the gold anomalism at Masabi Hill as well as diamond core drilling to get a better handle on what is controlling mineralisation. We will then need an RC rig to work out the real size of the system. This work will start as soon as all assay results are received (including 1m splits of composite samples) and suitable drill rigs can be secured."

Liontown entered into the Jubilee Reef JV Project with Canadian company Currie Rose Resources Ltd (TSX VENTURE:CUI) at the beginning of 2011.
Liontown has the right to earn up to 75% equity in the Project which is located in the Lake Victoria Goldfield ( see Figure 1 ), an Archaean greenstone-granite terrain similar to the Eastern Goldfields of W.A.

Several multi-million ounce gold deposits are currently being mined in the region including Bulyanhulu and Geita.

Mabale Hills Project

Currie Rose has completed an extensive drilling program designed to follow up on encouraging results from previous work at Sisu River and Dhahabu.

The first part of the program involved 1,923 metres of Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling in 16 holes at Sisu River. While disseminated sulphides were intersected in each hole, assay results returned only narrow gold intercepts. The Sisu River anomaly was extended but the gold grade did not improve. Significant intercepts are shown in the table below.

Drill intercept lengths are down-hole lengths reflecting apparent widths of mineralization.
The calculation of drill intercepts employs a 0.5 g/t gold cut-off with 1m of internal dilution and no cutting grade has been applied to high gold values.
All intercepts fall within Currie's Mwamazengo claim block. A location map can be found on the Company's website, www.currierose.com.

At Dhahabu, 1.5 kilometers northwest of Sisu River, 4 RC holes (556 m) were drilled based on earlier drilling and an IP (Induced Polarization) ground based geophysical survey. No significant results were returned and the Company will review all data from Dhahabu prior to any additional drilling at this prospect.

A Rotary Air Blast (RAB) drilling program totalling 1,989 metres from 69 holes has also been completed over the wider Sisu River area where a number of abandoned surface workings, soil anomalies and interpreted Landsat alteration anomalies indicate potential gold mineralization. Assay results from this drilling are still pending.

Sekenke Project

At Sekenke, a target area was defined by soil sampling with coincident Landsat alteration interpretation and geological mapping. Rotary Air Blast (RAB) drilling totalling 2,396 metres has been completed and results are pending.

wie soll es weitergehen???, wenn die nexten Results auch solang auf sich warten lassen und dann noch schlecht ausfallen, gibt es die Shares noch zu 0,01... ich kann es nicht verstehen, das eine Company wie Currie Rose Res. über viele Jahre in Tanzania tätig ist, noch immer nicht weiß wo sie bohren sollen um gute Ergebnisse zu präsentieren... das ist einfach nur ein Witz... company stated August 24 that 20 RC holes were completed at Mabale Hills (16 at Sisu River, 4 at Dhahabu) with drilling shifting to the Sekenke Project approximately 200 kilometres to the southeast…what we found especially encouraging about that news is the fact that disseminated sulphides were intersected in all 16 holes at Sisu River, unlike Phase 1 drilling there last winter…the initial stage of drilling at Sisu River gave the company some important geological clues and it’s quite possible that assay results will turn out much better this time around…each of the 4 holes at Dhahabu also intersected disseminated sulphides…drilling has yet to commence at Mwamazengo…geochemical analysis has outlined a continuous anomaly over a few hundred metres that runs parallel to the west of a previously reported discovery at Mwamazengo where drill results included notable high-grade intercepts such as 34 metres grading 3.60 grams per tonne Gold, 12 metres grading 9.11 g/t Au, 63 metres grading 2.59 g/t Au and 31 metres grading 5.97 g/t Au…

we’re most excited, however, about the Sekenke Project which is why we decided to start following CUI when it was trading around a dime last fall…
results from satellite imagery provide additional evidence that Sekenke is a highly intriguing geological target and part of the same northwest trending structure that hosts Canaco’s (CAN, TSX-V) Handeni Project…
satellite imagery has also shown that the structures at Sekenke are coincident with a strong alteration envelope…what’s unique about this project is that it surrounds and runs in between two former high grade Gold mines including Tanzania’s original producer…
this greatly increases the chances of a discovery as it’s unlikely the former mines were fully exploited or explored as techniques a century ago in this industry obviously weren’t what they are today…

CUI has a terrific chance to hit it big at Sekenke and we also wouldn’t be surprised if the company also takes a shot at acquiring the former Sekenke Mine…
that’s speculation on our part but it makes sense from a strategic point of view…
Trueclaim Exploration (TRM, TSX-V) has completed a Phase 2 drill program at the Scadding Propery…TRM has earned a 51% interest in Scadding and can acquire a full 100% interest by completing a feasibility study, paying $2 million to Currie Rose, and giving Currie Rose a 3% net smelter royalty…Trueclaim’s results were encouraging but considerably more work needs to be completed at Scadding to better determine its ultimate potential…while Currie Rose has had its market cap shaved by 70%, from a high of nearly $40 million late last year to the current $9.8 million, what hasn’t changed is the quality of this company’s project portfolio which remains as high as ever…Currie Rose‘s June 30th financials (six months) show the company has all the cash it needs (nearly $2 million as of June 30) to complete an initial major round of drilling (10,000 metres) in Tanzania this summer…CUI has fallen a nickel since being added to the BMR model portfolio a year ago…

Mabale Hills Prospect

The Company has now completed an extensive Rotary Air Blast (RAB) drilling program at Sisu River including some drilling at a prospective area approximately two kilometres to the north. Work consisted of 69 RAB holes totalling 1,989 metres to a maximum depth of 40 metres (inclined). To date, results from 44 drill holes have been received from this program but no gold intercepts of significance were encountered despite encouraging visual readings. Results from the remaining 25 holes are pending.

Sekenke Project

Work completed by Currie during previous exploration at Sekenke identified a number of significant surface anomalies coupled with outcropping quartz veins and coincident artisanal miner pits and minor excavations as well as coincident interpreted satellite zones of alteration. Sekenke is a large land package that covers nearly 300 square kilometres and surrounds and runs in between two past producing historic mines.

A total of 95 RAB holes totalling 2,369 metres to a maximum depth of 40 metres were drilled at Sekenke during the late summer/early fall over various surface anomalies (an area approximately 2,000 metres in length and 1,000 metres wide) that Currie has defined to date. As with Sisu River, holes were drilled "heel to toe" on grid fences to ensure continuous coverage across the anomalies. While results returned no significant intercepts, this limited drill program was the first drilling Currie has undertaken at Sekenke and the Company still considers this property to hold strong discovery potential given the geology and history of the general area.

Additional Developments

Currie Rose, which has been a publicly traded company for nearly 40 years, is examining several resource properties of merit in various jurisdictions for a potential project acquisition. The Company has current working capital of $1.1 million with no debt.

Bin vor einiger Zeit +/- Taschengeld raus.

Consors scheint ein gutes Explorernetzwerk/ Näschen zu haben was soetwas angeht.
Da ich mit Wertpapierkredit arbeite(te) habe ich immer früh genug vor dem finalen Kurssturz einer Depotaktie Bescheid bekommen, dass eine bestimmte Aktie(meist Explorer) nicht mehr beleihungswürdig ist.

gestrige PR wahrlich KEINE ruhmesstück, doch scheint MIR reaktion doch
abisl arg ausgefallen.....mit 60 % MINUS

kann MIR nen schönen PULLBACK vorstellen, der MIR angesichts einer akt.
CASH - posi von cad-mios 1,1 auch durchaus angebracht scheint, denn NUR
allein schon der 49%ige anteil am JUBILEE- JV dürfte nach den TOP- results
dieses jahres schon höher ausfallen als akt. witz- MK von 1,8mios !!!!

bin schon verwundert über DEINE einschätzung, wo auch du schon ne ordtl.

das problem aber ist, dass die phantasie aus den afrika-projekten kam... und hier hat man komplett enttäuscht! das war ein griff ins klo, wie er bei explorern eben vorkommen kann.

jetzt muss man schauen, wie man neues geld auftreiben kann, um manangement etc. zu bezahlen und neue projekte anschieben kann...
das wird kursverfall, verwässerung und einhergehende enteignung der altaktionäre zur folge haben. so realistisch bin ich!

denke deine betrachtung hat weniger was mit REALISMUS als mit PESSIMISMUS
zu tun......DIR scheint das vorstellungsvermögen abhanden gekommen zu sein, welch
dynamik gute BEs aus jubilee gold für die ´werthaltigkeit´ des proj. und somit auch
des JV- parts bedeuten kann.

....nach vielversprechender phase I in 2011 dürfte akt. anlaufende phase II
noch für manch pos. PR in 2012 verantwortlich sein.....und die belohnen, die
übern tellerrand schauen können
