Das hat mich auch sehr überrascht.
Und wirft einige Fragen auf:

-Was ist mit dem "alten" Modell der iWear?
Wird das eventuell gar nicht mehr angeboten?
Und wer möchte das "alte" Modell denn jetzt überhaupt noch kaufen, wenn es die iWear doch dann wireless gibt.
Was ist mit den Pre-Orderkunden?
iWear mit wireless ist ja dann nicht mehr das Produkt, über das man beim Pre-ordern einen Kaufvertrag abgeschlossenn hat?!

Auch überrascht es mich das es für eine wireless Version einen neuen Award gibt, ist ja kein neues Produkt in dem Sinne.

Auch hatte ich erwartet, dass die Waveguide einen Award bekommt, heisst das jetzt wir sehen die Waveguide nicht auf der CES 2016?
Oder soll das geheim gehalten werden?
Würe ich für möglich halten, da Travers so was ja gerne macht und die Waveguide mehr oder weniger der heilige Gral für Vuzix ist.

AWE headed to Xi’an China, the Silicon Valley of Western China, earlier this month for the first AWE Asia. The augmented reality event was the largest of its kind in Asia and attracting over 1,600 attendees over the course of the two days. Vuzix iWear 720

If every gamer could have a 70-plus-inch television in their lives, things would be amazing. But that’s obviously not the case in reality, as clearly, you’d need a very big pad and an even larger wallet.

Well, dear gamer, this is when the Vuzix iWear 720 comes in handy. It’s accurately being described as a pair of “video headphones”, packing dual 1280 x 720 displays that provide the equivalent experience of a 130-inch home television. In addition, it comes with noise-isolating 40mm drivers, so you get an all-round quality experience.

You can connect it up to a smartphone, a tablet PC, a games console or a PC via HDMI to access existing VR games, apps and movies. It’ll last up to 30 hours, and when it runs out, you can recharge it with a micro-USB cable. You can preorder the iWear 720 for £405, with it expected to ship by the end of 2015.
