weis nicht so recht. die halbleiterwerte waren die topaktien im letzen quartal 2010.
entr, axti oder asys gingen durch die decke. im januar und februar war die semiconductor-party aber von heute auf morgen zu ende. die charts sehen regelrecht ausgebombt aus.
hättest du den thread im oktober oder november 2010 während des aufwärtstrends geschrieben, wäre ich dabei gewesen, jetzt scheint aber die luft drausen zu sein.

gerade hat Entropic zwei grosse Kooperationen (Ghuanghzu und Tianjin) aus China vermeldet.
Meiner Einschätzung nach sehen wir hier in den nächsten Monaten mindestens Kurse von 12-14$.

deployed its Broadband Access Ethernet over Coax (EoC) solution. The
deployment, which began in 2010, provides coverage to 1.3 million subscribers
and enables Tianjin Broadcast and TV Networks to offer advanced broadband data
services.

By implementing Entropic's feature-rich, cost-effective EoC solution, Tianjin
Broadcast and TV Networks can offer bi-directional communication over a single
coax network, which directly responds to the Chinese government's mandate for
network convergence and cable plant upgrades to enable triple play services. In
addition, the field-proven EoC solution will serve as a solid backbone to
ensure a robust, scalable network, which is required to deliver higher
bandwidth value-added services to subscribers.

Entropic's Access EoC technology, which includes the EN3011 Network Controller
(NC) and EN3230 Consumer Premise Equipment (CPE) solution, is based on the
MoCA(R) (Multimedia over Coax) standard, which has already enabled high
performance home networks over existing coax wiring to millions of homes
throughout Asia, North America and Europe.

bin über seeking alpha auf die Aktie gestoßen
hier gibt es paar interessante Kommentare.
Dennoch ist mir nicht klar geworden warum die Konkurrenten Ikanos und Ceva KGVs jenseits der 40 aufweisen und Entropic unter 10.
Warum läuft die Aktie mittlerweile in genau die andere Richtung im Gegensatz zu den Konkur. obwohl Entropic meines wissens nach Marktführer ist wie es in dem einen Artikel heißt. Bekanntlich machen Kurse ja Nachrichten. Deswegen zögere ich noch ins fallende Messer zu greifen. Kann mir jemand weiterhelfen? So genau bin ich über die Branche nicht informiert. Mich macht aber der Bewertungsunterschied neugierig.

vielleicht schaust du dir mal den Jahresbericht 2010 http://ir.entropic.com/financials.cfm an. In der Form 10K findest du sämtliche Informationen, auch zum Wettbewerb.
ENTR ist 2010 zum ersten Mal profitabel gewesen und ich denke das wird sich in
diesem Jahr fortsetzen.
Das Risiko sehe ich nicht so sehr im operativen Geschäft, sondern in der hohen
Shortquote. Bei einer massiven Shortattacke kann der Kurs durchaus nach unten geprügelt werden, andererseits kann das Gegenteil bei Veröffentlichung von positiven News passieren.

Die letzten 3 Käufe (insgesamt 1700 Stück in Frankfurt gerade eben) sind meine. Werbung Werbung Werbung. Habe vor in N.Y. weiterzukaufen, wenns unter 7,30 geht. Wovon ich ausgehe.

ERKLÄRUNGSVERSUCH:
Nach meinem Dafürhalten findet hier ein sehr intelligente Form von Betrug statt. Ich glaube nicht, daß die Aktien echt leerverkauft sind. In "Wirklichkeit" besitzt jemand erhöht hier "jemand" andauernd und immer seinen Anteil. Die Aktien werden bei einem Strohmann geparkt. Technisch sieht es wie ein "Verkauf" aus. Aber das ist selbstverständlich nicht so. Niemand kann einen so hohen Aktienanteil einer gesunden AG mit "legalen" Mitteln shorten und damit Geld verdienen.
Diese Strategie ist mir vor vielen Monaten bei einigen schuldenfreien Tec-Dax Werten mal aufgefallen. Jener Wert fiel in wenigen Wochen um 50% und korrigierte dann um 200%. Das muß hier auch passieren, denn diese Firma hat keinerlei Schulden und ein enormes Wachstum und verdient wahnsinnig viel Geld. Und Ebensolches habe ich heute - wie angekündigt - zwischen 7,30 und 6,98 Dollares hier investiert. Bin gespannt, wann der Strohmann und der Dealer ihre Aktien zurücktauschen. Offiziell sinds ja "echte" Leerverkäufe. Ich rechne mit riesigen Umsätzen ohne Kursveränderung. Also etwas total Irreales! Exakt, das was in diesen Stunden passiert. Der Kurs ist für den Deal egal: ob 5 $ oder 1000 $. Die beiden Partner machen nie Verluste.

DAS IST ALLES MEINE VERMUTUNG. DIE DATEN SEHEN SO AUS. ICH WEIß ES NICHT.

wie das abläuft ist kein Geheimnis, aber die US-Behörden wollen/können das nicht wirkungsvoll unterbinden. Das Volumen heute spricht für sich.
