OMNITEK ENGINEERING EXPANDS BUSINESS WITH TATA MOTORS

--Company’s High-Pressure Natural Gas Filter Selected As OE Component For Passenger Vehicles--

SAN MARCOS, CA — January 19, 2012 — Omnitek Engineering Corporation (OTCQB: OMTK) today announced it has been selected by India-based Tata Motors to supply original equipment high-pressure natural gas filters for 2012 passenger vehicles, expanding a supplier agreement for commercial vehicle filter applications that commenced in 2009.

“The expansion of our supplier relationship with Tata Motors reflects the rapidly expanding utilization of natural gas vehicles in India and advancements in engine technology -- particularly the shift to fuel injection systems in which a coalescing filter is a critical component of a compressed natural gas system, providing 99.9 protection from solid particulate matter and oil aerosols which can damage fuel injections, carburetors and regulators. We are gratified by Tata Motor’s confidence in our high-pressure filter and look forward to continued growth in India,” said Werner Funk, president and chief executive officer of Omnitek Engineering Corporation.

Funk noted that demand for Omnitek’s high-pressure natural gas filter has increased significantly in the USA and abroad since its filter received international certification in 2010 based on tests conducted by an independent agency and standards sanctioned by the United Nation’s Economic Commission for Europe, specifically UN-ECE-110R.

“In addition to Tata, numerous OEM customers report superior performance from Omnitek’s multi-layer filter element over competing brands, including Mahindra & Mahindra; Mahindra Navistar; Swaraj Mazda and Force Motors,” Funk said. He highlighted the contributions of Advantek Fuel Systems, the company’s distributor in India, in gaining major market share for Omnitek’s high-pressure natural gas filters in the region. Funk also noted that domestic demand for Omnitek’s high-pressure filter continues to expand, enhanced by the acceleration of natural gas engine conversions across the United States, particularly light and heavy duty vehicles.

He noted that industry sources estimate there are approximately 11.0 million light and heavy duty vehicles operating worldwide on compressed natural gas, with at least one million more vehicles being added each year. http://www.omnitekcorp.com/images/filters%20175%20075.jpg

OMNITEK ENGINEERING COMPLETES $5.0 MILLION PRIVATE PLACEMENT

--Financing to Facilitate Diesel to Natural Gas Truck Engine Conversion Sales in U.S. Market--
SAN MARCOS, CA — April 5, 2012 — Omnitek Engineering Corporation (OTCBB: OMTK) today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement with investors for a private placement of common stock and warrants to raise approximately $5.0 million in gross proceeds.
Under the terms of the financing, the company will issue shares of common stock at a price of $2.12 and warrants to a group of investors at an exercise price of $3.88, with a five-year term.
Merriman Capital, Inc. (OTCQX:MERR) acted as the sole placement agent in connection with the transaction.
The securities offered in the private placement have not been registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended or applicable under state securities laws. Accordingly, the securities may not be offered or sold in the United States except pursuant to an effective registration statement or an applicable exemption from the registration requirements of the Securities Act and such applicable state securities laws.
“The completion of this financing will greatly accelerate the build out of our national network of diesel-to-natural-gas conversion facilities. There is enormous pent up demand for truck engine conversions in the U.S. market, as well as other substantial opportunities -- including power generators, irrigation pumps, and other diesel powered equipment,” said Werner Funk, president and chief executive officer of Omnitek Engineering Corporation.
Funk noted that diesel engines have a service life of up to 20 years. “During the life span of diesel engines, routine overhauls are required and service budgets established in advance. By converting these diesel engines to operate on natural gas during a routine service overhaul, we are able to offer truck operators a compelling return on investment with much lower fuel costs and cleaner combustion. Omnitek’s option is clearly an attractive consideration given the cost to purchase a new natural gas truck engine and the large “carbon-footprint” as a consequence of manufacturing a new engine,” Funk said.
He added that compressed natural gas provides significant advantages over diesel fuel – including reduced emissions, plentiful supplies and favorable economics. Industry sources estimate there are up to 8.0 million heavy duty vehicles operating in the United States that could benefit from conversion to natural gas.About Omnitek Engineering Corporation

OMNITEK ENGINEERING ENTERS INTO AGREEMENT WITH NATIONAL REFUSE COLLECTION COMPANY TO CONVERT DIESEL ENGINES TO NATURAL GAS

SAN MARCOS, CA — June 25, 2012 — Omnitek Engineering Corporation (OTCBB: OMTK) today announced it has entered into an agreement with one of the nation’s leading refuse collection companies to convert 21 diesel-powered refuse collection trucks to operate on compressed natural gas under an Experimental Permit issued by the California Air Resources Board to validate the durability of components and collect performance and emissions data. Terms were not disclosed.

The Experimental Permit pilot program is intended to provide empirical data and accelerate certification by the California Air Resources Board and the Environmental Protection Agency.

“Converting diesel engines to operate on natural gas offers a significant return on investment, with much lower fuel costs and cleaner combustion. Conversions under this program have already commenced and we look forward to certification and working with this industry leader in refuse collection to ramp up conversions on a much larger scale,” said Werner Funk, president and chief executive officer of Omnitek Engineering.

Funk noted this customer’s nationwide commitment to convert all of its more than 18,000 refuse collection trucks to operate on natural gas through a multi-year program comprised of diesel engine conversions and the purchase of new natural gas trucks. “The value proposition of Omnitek’s conversion technology is particularly appealing to fleet operators since diesel engines have an estimated life span of more than 20 years, and conversions can be completed during regularly scheduled engine overhauls at a cost significantly less than the purchase of new natural gas trucks,” Funk said.

OMNITEK ENGINEERING RECEIVES EPA APPROVAL FOR ITS DIESEL-TO-NATURAL GAS ENGINE CONVERSION KITS

--Domestic Conversion Ramp Up Begins With Popular Navistar DT466E and DT530E Engines –

SAN MARCOS, CA — January 22, 2013 — Omnitek Engineering Corporation (OTCBB: OMTK) today announced the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved the company’s submission for its diesel-to-natural gas conversion technology for the widely operated line of heavy-duty Navistar DT466E and DT530E engines under specific and rigorous criteria related to the agency’s Outside Useful Life definition.

The Navistar DT466E and DT530E engines were produced in 130 different configurations from 1996 through 2003, representing an estimated addressable market of 1.5 million potential conversions. Industry sources estimate the total number of heavy-duty diesel trucks in the USA exceeds eight million and the large majority of these trucks could benefit from Omnitek’s patented technology.

“Approval of our technology by the EPA represents a significant milestone for the company and we anticipate tremendous domestic demand to convert diesel truck and bus engines to operate on liquefied natural gas (LNG), compressed natural gas (CNG) or renewable biogas,” said Werner Funk, president and chief executive officer of Omnitek Engineering.

He noted that Omnitek’s technology has been utilized outside the United States since 2001, with more than 5,000 engine conversions currently in operation.

“During the 20-year life span of diesel engines, routine overhauls are required and service budgets established in advance. By converting these diesel engines to operate on natural gas during a routine engine overhaul, truck operators can realize a significant return on investment, with much lower fuel costs and cleaner combustion,” Funk said. He emphasized the cost benefits of conversions versus new engine replacement, as well as the limited availability of new natural gas truck and bus engines to meet pent-up and future demand.

“We are continuing to focus on appointing dealers and authorized installers to support anticipated demand for conversions, and look forward to significant domestic growth from the build-out of our domestic conversion centers across the United States,” Funk said.

He added that the company expects to obtain EPA approval for other diesel engine models to address the anticipated increasing demand from trucking fleets that operate with other diesel engine models.

OMNITEK ENGINEERING SELECTED FOR PORT OF SEATTLE PILOT PROJECT
UTILIZING ITS DIESEL-TO-NATURAL GAS CONVERSION TECHNOLOGY

VISTA, CA – July 11, 2013 – Omnitek Engineering Corporation (OTCBB: OMTK) today announced it has been selected by the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency for a pilot project to demonstrate its diesel-to-natural gas engine conversion technology for drayage trucks serving the Port of Seattle, Washington, in support of the Port’s Clean Truck Program. The project has a goal of meeting 2007 EPA emission standards for particulate emissions by 2017 for all drayage trucks serving the Port’s marine container terminals, estimated at more than 2,000 vehicles.

The company’s diesel-to-natural gas engine conversion system was selected as the best technology under a competitive grant process for the agency’s “Piloting Engine Upgrade Technologies in the Freight Mobility Sector” project. Omnitek’s technology reduces particulate emissions as well as nitrogen oxides and carbon dioxide. The pilot project led by Omnitek Engineering includes American Strategic Group, trucking fleets and related service providers.

“Converting diesel engines to operate on natural gas offers trucking operators a significant return on investment, with much lower fuel costs and cleaner combustion. We look forward to working with the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency and our partners to achieve the goals of the Port of Seattle’s Clean Truck Program and participating in a full-scale conversion program,” said Werner Funk, president and chief executive officer of Omnitek Engineering.

He emphasized Omnitek’s domestic diesel-to-natural-gas conversion business is ramping up since the company’s recent EPA approval of its technology for the widely operated line of heavy-duty Navistar DT466E and DT530E engines. Funk noted the company’s is also focused on other diesel engine model conversion opportunities to complement its international growth expansion with partners in Asia, Latin and South America, China and Europe.

“Seattle has already converted its refuse trucks and airport taxis to CNG, so extending the environmental and economic benefits of natural gas to the Port of Seattle drayage fleet is an innovative approach to keeping the Port of Seattle competitive in the post-Panamax era of ocean shipping. We think the ability to convert existing assets is crucial for CNG infrastructure development in the United States,” said Stephen Lambo, president of American Strategic Group.

Lambo noted that Puget Sound is a key cargo gateway between Asia and the United States, with one in three jobs in Washington State tied to international trade.

      About American Strategic Group
Seattle, Washington-based ASG is developing a regional network of CNG refueling facilities optimized to meet the needs of heavy-duty truck fleets. ASG will also provide financial support for fleets and owner-operators to make the transition from diesel to natural gas.

OMNITEK ENGINEERING APPOINTS DIESEL-TO-NATURAL GAS CONVERSION DEALER AND INSTALLER IN ONTARIO, CANADA
-- Cites an Abundant Supply of Natural Gas in Eastern Canada as Market Drivers --

VISTA, CA — August 5, 2013 — Omnitek Engineering Corporation (OTCBB: OMTK) today announced the appointment of Tallman Truck Centre, based in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, as an authorized installation center for its diesel-to-natural gas engine conversion systems in the region. Terms were not disclosed.

“The addition of Tallman Truck Centre to our network of North American conversion centers provides a solid platform for growth in a region with significant supplies of natural gas and pent-up demand from heavy-duty truck fleet operators,” said Werner Funk, president and chief executive officer of Omnitek Engineering Corporation.

Omnitek Engineering is accelerating its conversion center partnerships throughout the United States and Canada since receiving EPA approval for its diesel-to-natural gas engine conversion technology for the widely operated line of heavy-duty Navistar DT466E and DT530E engines. The North American expansion complements the company’s presence in other international markets since 2001 – represented by dealers, installers and partnerships throughout Asia, Latin and South America and Europe.

The company expects to obtain EPA and CARB approval for additional diesel engine models to address the anticipated increasing demand from trucking fleets that operate with other diesel engine models.

“We are seeing a pique in interest for diesel engine conversions from our customers, especially because of the economic and environmental benefits it could have for their business. We look forward to working with Omnitek to further increase the adoption of natural gas in Ontario fleets,” said Bill Scanlon of Tallman Truck Centre Limited. Funk noted that Omnitek’s conversion technology offers a projected return on investment of less than two years – a significant advantage compared with a projected return on investment of five-to-seven years for a new natural gas truck purchase.

      About Tallman Truck Centre Limited

Established in 1973, Tallman Truck Centre Limited, based in Kingston, Ontario, is an ISO 9001:2008 certified operator of a network of eight commercial truck dealerships with more than 350 employees. The company has been recognized for four consecutive years as one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies, and has received Navistar’s 2012 Circle of Excellence Award for 19 consecutive years. :)

Omnitek Engineering Corporation announced it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Philippine- based Alternative Bio-Energy Technologies Company (ABET), with a goal of building a strong and mutually beneficial relationship utilizing Omnitek’s proprietary diesel-to-natural-gas conversion technology to address growing local market demand for biogas engine solutions.
“Omnitek’s conversion technology complements ABET’s mission to create a cleaner environment in the Philippines, while promoting the use of environmentally friendly biomethane or biogas” said Werner Funk, president and chief executive officer of Omnitek Engineering Corporation.
He noted that ABET is a leader in the design and installation of biogas energy systems in the Philippines -- utilizing animal waste, agricultural and food waste to create methane and biogas fuels. “This represents an inexpensive energy source for existing diesel generators to operate when converted by utilizing Omnitek’s diesel-to-gas technology,” Funk said.
“Omnitek’s diesel engine conversion technology is being applied throughout the world with great success. Applying this technology also in the Philippines would add a significant number of biogas-powered generators in a short timeframe at an economical cost well-below the price of a new engine,” Funk said.

Omnitek Re-powers Container Handling UTR at Bangkok Sea Port - Omnitek reports the commencement of a re-powering project at the Bangkok Laem Chabang Sea Port.
The first two UTR container-handling vehicles, owned by LCB1 Ltd., were recently put into service. The Cummins 5.9 Liter engines were replaced with Omnitek 5.8 Liter CNG engines. The engine of a third UTR is currently being converted from diesel to CNG. A short evaluation period will determine the economics and feasibility of converting or re-powering. LCB1 Ltd. operates approximately 200 UTRs at the Bangkok port.
The fact that the Thai gas supplier PTT has installed CNG refueling infrastructure at the sea port, has encouraged many fleet operators to consider converting or re-powering their diesel vehicles to CNG. Switching from diesel to natural gas can result in 30% to 50% savings in fuel and maintenance costs.(UTR)

OMNITEK ENGINEERING ANNOUNCES ENGINE MODEL SELECTIONS FOR PORT
OF SEATTLE PILOT PROJECT UTILIZING ITS DIESEL-TO-NATURAL GAS
      ENGINE CONVERSION TECHNOLOGY

VISTA, CA – November 4, 2013 – Omnitek Engineering Corporation (OTCQB: OMTK) today announced it has selected the 12.7 L Detroit Diesel Series 60 and the Caterpillar C15 engine models -- representing the beginning of the second phase for the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency pilot project, which includes the development of diesel-to-natural gas engine conversion kits for these engine models and obtaining Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approval.

The project has a goal of meeting 2007 EPA emission standards for particulate emissions by 2017 for an estimated 2,000 drayage trucks serving the Port of Seattle’s marine container terminals.

As previously announced, the company’s diesel-to-natural gas engine conversion system was selected as the best technology under a competitive grant process for the agency’s “Piloting Engine Upgrade Technologies in the Freight Mobility Sector” project. Omnitek’s technology reduces particulate emissions as well as nitrogen oxides and greenhouse gas emissions. The pilot project, led by Omnitek Engineering, includes trucking fleets and related service providers.

“Converting diesel engines to operate on natural gas offers trucking operators a significant return on investment, with much lower fuel costs and cleaner combustion. We look forward to completing the second phase of the project and participating in a full-scale conversion program for the Port of Seattle in Washington,” said Werner Funk, president and chief executive officer of Omnitek Engineering.

Funk noted an article in last Wednesday’s Wall Street Journal, “Truckers Tap Into Gas Boom,” highlighting the shift to natural gas utilization from diesel fuel by the country’s largest trucking fleets. “Replacing old diesel trucks with new natural gas-powered trucks is certainly an option, but cost and availability are barriers to meeting the accelerating demand. Our technology is feasible and affordable, with a projected return on investment of less than two years – a particularly appealing value-proposition for large fleet operators given the service life of some diesel engines can be up to 20 years,” Funk said.

He added that Omnitek selected the 12.7 L Detroit Diesel Series 60 and the Caterpillar C15 engines based on the sheer number of trucks on the roads utilizing these engine models, which represents an addressable market of more than 1,000,000 trucks.

“We are excited to commence Mack E7 engine conversions immediately as there is significant pent up demand for converting the popular Mack E7 engine model to natural gas. We expect strong sales momentum in the quarters ahead as fleet customers take advantage of the favorable economics of natural gas and our “drop-in” engine program. Diesel-to-natural gas engine conversions are a viable and cost-effective option for fleets to transition to natural gas within a practical timeframe,” said Werner Funk, president and chief executive officer of Omnitek Engineering Corp.

He noted that Omnitek’s conversion technology for the Mack E7 engine, one of the most popular engines for waste collection companies, has already been validated on California roads, following the completion of 21 Mack E7 engine conversions under a CARB test permit in cooperation with one of the largest refuge collection companies in the United States.

“We anticipate conversions of refuse collection trucks will comprise a large portion of the Mack E7 business. Furthermore, we look forward to finalizing the development of the Detroit Diesel Series 60 and Caterpillar C15 engine conversion kits,” Funk said.

Funk noted the high engine power and favorable emissions of the diesel-to-natural gas converted Mack E7 engine attributed to Omnitek’s patented technology -- producing 400 horsepower with low NOx emissions of 0.14 gr/bhp-hr, per the EPA SET emissions test protocol without the use of EGR. “As engines are converted to use 100% natural gas, the payback on a diesel-to-natural gas truck conversion can be as short as 16 months, including the cost for the engine, fuel storage system and installation labor. This is a significant improvement compared with diesel-dual fuel technology, which uses a mix of diesel and only a small amount of natural gas,” Funk said.

As previously announced, the company’s diesel-to-natural gas engine conversion technology was selected as the best technology under a competitive grant process by the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency for a pilot project. The company’s diesel-to-natural gas engine conversion technology has been validated with more than 5,000 engine conversions completed worldwide.

OMNITEK RECEIVES ORDER FROM WORLD’S LARGEST PRIVATELY OWNED
RAISIN PROCESSOR FOR BIOGAS POWERED GENERATOR

      - Anaerobic Digester Provides Source for Renewable Natural Gas -

VISTA, CA — July 2, 2014 — Omnitek Engineering Corp. (OTCQB: OMTK) today announced it has received an order for a 250 kilowatt diesel-to-biogas converted power generator from National Raisin Company, Inc., based in Fowler, California that incorporates Omnitek’s technology for stationary engine applications and provides a clean and economical solution to the agricultural industry in the San Joaquin Valley region of California. Terms were not disclosed.

The converted engine/generator system will operate as a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) unit, also called cogeneration or distributed generation, and will simultaneously produce two types of energy – heat and electricity – from one fuel source (biogas). The biogas to power National Raisin Company’s electric generator will be derived from an anaerobic digester process capable of producing an estimated 100,000 cubic feet of renewable natural gas per day from the farm’s liquid waste, which is currently diverted to a municipal water treatment facility. It is estimated that current water treatment costs will be reduced by at least 80 percent, with expectations that water from the anaerobic digester will be recycled and utilized for irrigation of the vineyards – completely eliminating the need for water treatment by the municipal plant, while reducing CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions in the immediate surrounding area.

The San Joaquin Air Pollution Control District issued the “Authority To Construct” permit for the project, requiring NOx and CO emission levels of 0.15 g/bhp-hr and 5.15 g/bhp-hr respectively -- representing some of the lowest levels for such an installation.

“Combining Omnitek’s technology with the abundance of biogas derived through this innovative anaerobic process offers significant economic and environmental benefits to the agricultural industry. We are gratified by the adoption of our technology by the National Raisin Company and look forward to additional opportunities in the region, as well as other stationary engine applications for our diesel-to-natural gas technology across the country and the world,” said Werner Funk, president and chief executive officer of Omnitek Engineering Corporation.

He noted Omnitek’s long-time experience in the Philippines with biogas generators. “Industry sources estimate world-wide annual sales for power generators is a multi-billion dollar market, and we believe the utilization of Omnitek’s technology for power generation could evolve to become an important component of the company’s long-term growth strategy,” Funk said.

      OMNITEK ENGINEERING REPORTS THIRD QUARTER
      AND NINE MONTH RESULTS
      - Expects Domestic Diesel-to-Natural Gas Conversion Sales to Gain Momentum -

VISTA, CA — November 13, 2014 — Omnitek Engineering Corp. (OTCQB: OMTK) today reported results for its third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2014 -- reflecting higher revenues, the company’s successful third EPA-approved natural gas engine and EURO 4 emissions certification in Mexico.

Net revenues climbed for the third quarter 60 percent to $449,477 from $280,921 a year earlier – reflecting increased natural gas filter sales, drop-in engine sales and conversion kit shipments. For the same period, the company reported a net loss of $542,357, or $0.03 per share, compared with a net loss of $973,248, or $0.05 per share, a year earlier – primarily reflecting the non-cash impact related to a change in the valuation of a derivative.

Net revenues for the nine-month period increased 29.6 percent to $1.07 million from $827,460 a year ago, due to the positive factors noted above and no further impact of the company’s relocation to a large facility a year earlier. For the same period, the company reported a net loss of $1.42 million, or $0.07 per share, compared with a net loss of $3.71 million, or $0.19 per share, a year earlier.

Gross margin for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 was 45 percent compared with 36 percent a year earlier due to volume and product mix. Gross margin for the nine months was 40 percent compared with 36 percent a year earlier, but still consistent with the company’s normalized target range of 40 to 50 percent as domestic sales commence and foreign sales regain momentum.

“We remain confident that the long-awaited domestic conversion market will continue to accelerate as large domestic trucking fleet operators focus on our expanding line up of EPA-approved natural gas “drop-in” engines and conversions kits, the favorable economics, and environmental considerations,” said Werner Funk, president and chief executive officer of Omnitek Engineering Corp.

At September 30, 2014, current liabilities totaled $543,167 and current assets totaled $3.3 million, resulting in positive working capital of approximately $2.7 million and a current ratio of 6.04 to 1. The company’s total assets at September 30, 2014 were $3.4 million. Funk noted that inventory levels remain high to support the anticipated ramp up of domestic sales activities in the current year and expected accelerating activities in early 2015.

The company is working diligently to obtain EPA and CARB approval for additional diesel engine models to address the anticipated increasing demand from trucking fleets that operate with other diesel engine models to complement its EPA-certification of the heavy-duty Navistar DT466E and DT530E, 12-liter Mack E7 and Detroit Diesel Series 60 engines. The company is currently focused on completing testing of the Caterpillar C15 engine models as part of the second phase for the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency pilot project.

Funk emphasized that the cost for a diesel truck engine conversion can be recouped within a one-to-two year period, and even earlier if performed during a regularly scheduled engine overhaul.

Funk added that he anticipates drayage trucks will comprise a large portion of the company’s Caterpillar diesel-to-natural gas engine conversion business. As previously announced, Omnitek’s diesel-to-natural gas engine conversion technology was selected under a competitive grant process by the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency for a pilot project.

“As engines are converted to use 100 percent natural gas, CNG or LNG, the payback on a diesel-to-natural gas truck conversion can be as short as 16 months, including the cost for the engine, fuel storage system and installation labor. This is a significant improvement compared with diesel-dual fuel technology, which uses a mix of diesel and only a small amount of natural gas,” Funk said.
