Offensichtlich habe ich etwa 4 Stunden zu früh verkauft Danach drehte es wieder und nun geht es stetig bergauf. Dumm gelaufen!

Andererseits hätte ich das Geld nicht für LOEWE gehabt wo ich seit gestern 60% im Plus bin

So gesehen trauere ich meiner Entscheidung nicht zu sehr hinterher. Aber NQ ist sichere die langtfristigere Anlage.

Allen Investierten weiterhin viel Erfolg.

Bin einfach dringeblieben und hab auch nicht nachgekauft da ich einfach zuviel drinnstecken habe, bin ja anfangs von anderen Voraussetzungen ausgegangen. Warte einfach mal ab, vielleicht wird meine Geduld ja irgendwann doch noch belohnt. Verkaufen und dann mit dem restlichen Geld noch mal floppen ist doppelt ärgerlich.
Ist auch eine richtig blöde Sache mit den Leerverkäufern. Die haben immer mehr Geld und nisten sich bei irgendwelchen ausgesuchten Firmen ein. Ob es stimmt oder nicht. Hoffentlich fallen die bald mal richtig auf die Nase.

With the Holiday season upon us, and all the negative articles circling NQ Mobile I wanted to publish this articles to show some important facts that the shorts are over looking as many have called this company a Fraud.

Overview: This article is to revisit 12 recent facts about NQ Mobile that has happened in the last 3 months that should spark this prepare this stock to jump from the current open price which was $12.98 as of when this article was submitted (11/27/13).

On the first fact of NQ Mobile... (NQ) just off their Investor Day on the 19 of November, NQ management gave their investors a reason to cheer about how bright the future is going to be for the company. It seems the many of the shorts betting against the company and don't agree with the company growth in smartphones in China and the growth of the mobile industry even though large established companies like Intel have claimed they are behind in the ball on the mobile growth.

On the Second fact of NQ Mobile... shorts on NQ are ignoring that most investment company would rather invest in smaller "high growth company's" than large "slow growth company's". Again lets look at NQ and Intel over the past year. While Intel stock might have increased 25% at the highest point, NQ stock price has grown over 100% down from a high of over 300%.

On the Third fact of NQ Mobile... shorts can't attack large grow companies like Intel when they have 4.97 Billion shares outstanding which 4.96 Billion are on the float. They can't move a stock like that without the company actually not performing well. While NQ has only 56.9 million shares outstanding only 29.4 Million are on the float.

On the Forth fact of NQ Mobile... shorts are ignoring the 38.2% are held by instutions while Intel has 62.3% held by instutions. That means 11.2 Million shares are held by the Institutions that are on the float.

On the Fifth fact of NQ Mobile... shorts are ignoring 13.35 Millions shares short on the company. Add that to the 11.2 Million held by institution that's about 24.58 Million of the 29.4 Million floated shares.

On the Sixth fact of NQ Mobile... shorts are ignoring that Muddy Water already attacked NQ Mobile and it is down over 60% from the highs and currently around 40-50% off it's highs now.

On the Seventh fact of NQ Mobile... shorts are ignoring that NQ mobile did transfer over 100 Million dollars in cash, one of there deposits can be found here, which is one of the short claims Muddy Water said they Didn't have the cash.

On the Eight fact of NQ Mobile... shorts are ignoring that institutions investments are increasing, See Seeking Alpha author Justin Giles who as given us the increase in Toro, ChinaRock, Oberweis, and Altimeter investments.

On the Ninth fact of NQ Mobile... Carson Block, who is short the stock, is afraid to stand behind his words in China when he called the company a fraud and said he would only fact charges in the US. I believe the reason behind this is his claims are very vague and in the U.S. that's enough for Carson to speak his claims but in China with out facts of the claim he might face time in prison.

On the Tenth fact of NQ Mobile... shorts are ignoring that the Q3 earnings were off the charts. They are turning a blind eye to the fact that in less than 3 months NQ has to start performing to the goals given to the public.

On the Eleventh fact of NQ mobile... continuing one Q3 earnings NQ Mobile wants to transform the company Revenue from the Millions to the Billions mark, and in fact $4 billion by 2016.

On the Twelfth fact of NQ mobile... short are ignoring the fact that NQ mobile while based in China is Co-run but a strong knowledgeable man Omar Kahn. Omar is based in Dallas Texas and is the only one that is based in the U.S., if this company was a sham as Muddy Water claims, Omar would have to face charges in the US. As a MIT Graduate and has held Senior position in Citi, Samsung, and Motorola i would think that he's smart enough to know a real company from a fake.

Conclusion: With all the negative fraud claims that have already been baked into the stock price and many long investor holding this stock to see the results of the auditors from the Muddy Water claims this stock should return to the highs a couple months ago at the mid 20's. My outlook for the stock for the end of the year is the mid 20's with an outlook for 2014 being $39.

Ah, Ok, der Zacks Artikel ... ohne Hand und Fuss. Negativer Bericht und die Aktie tendiert minimal im Plus. Die "Lower" Guidance von denen er schreibt hat keine Quellen. Die sind unverändert und im Inhalt im Großen und Ganzen nur die alten Sachen neu verpackt und gepostet. Keine wirklich relevanten News und nach einem 40% Gain eine Korrektur von 10% ganz normal.

Die Schätzungen dürften sicherlich von Zacks selbst kommen da keine Analysten angegeben wurden. Demnach liegen diese für das laufende Jahr bei 0,66 U$

Weit aus relevanter ist für mich aber die Businessweek. Hier liegen die Schätzungen beo 1,39 U$ für 2014.

einfach geil, Gott sei Dank war ich stark genug und hab den mist der über NQ verzapft wird keine Anerkennung gegeben. Wenn das Audit heraus ist wirds noch mehr nach oben gehen. Stellt euch vor man könnte für China Mobile einen Auftrag an Land ziehen. Über NQ Live habe ich eigentlich noch nicht so viel in Erfahrung gebracht aber dieses Software Tool glaube ich ist echt der Bringer. Eigentlich steht NQ Mobile zurzeit komplett alleine am Markt mit seinen Software Produkten und das mach diese Aktie um so attraktiver.

Macquarie is reiterating an Outperform and $26 PT on NQ Mobile (NQ +4.8%), and believes a pending special audit report will address investor concerns fueled by Muddy Waters' fraud allegations.

NQ's board recently hired law firm Shearman & Sterling to advise it with an independent review of Muddy Waters' allegations. Shearman, in turn, has hired Deloitte to provide forsenic accounting services.

Topeka Capital maintained a Buy rating on NQ Mobile (NYSE: NQ) with a price target of $33. On Thursday, the company said it continues to work to file its annual report for the year ended December 31, 2013 as soon as possible.

Analyst Frederick Ziegels said, "We reiterate our Buy rating fully aware that investors are in paralysis mode as we still await report of NQ's special audit and 20-F filing. Hoffentlich reicht NQ bald die geprüfte Bilanz nach. Denn falls die Vorwürfe der Short-Seller stimmen, dann wird die Aktie u.U. delisted, ansonsten sollte es aber zu Eindeckungskäufen kommen, immerhin sind 13 Mio Stück short offen. Es könnte aber auch eine Privatisierung mit hoher Abfindung folgen.

Das Problem in China ist, dass auch Bilanzprüfer, Analysten und Ratingagenturen Plagiate sein können. Man kann also auch bekannten Namen nicht vertrauen.

Hoffen wir das beste. Ich persönlich glaube das der Audit positiv sein wird und mit NQ Mobile sehr viel Schindluder getrieben wird. Jeder spricht immer von NQ Mobile aber das FQ Mobile dick im Online Gaming Sektor tätig ist und Nation Sky dick im Enterprise Buisness tätig ist und diese Firmen auch Umsätze haben davon spricht keiner. Schade das ich kein Geld mehr übrig habe um nachzukaufen.

May 30 (Reuters) - Chinese mobile security software maker NQ Mobile Inc estimated that first-quarter revenue would exceed its forecast of 75-$76 million due to strength in its enterprise business.

The company's shares jumped 20.5 percent higher to $8.25 at the open on the New York Stock Exchange.

Das Ganze noch mal in der Zusammenfassung inkl. Kursziel 33 US$ von Topeka Capital. Wenn NQ sauber ist, dann sollte sie explodieren. D.h. ich würde erwarten 2-3 Mal 20+ % und weitere Tage mit 10+ %.

Das ist aber nur meine Meinung, es kann ganz anders kommen und es ist keine Investment-Empfehlung. Jeder ist für sein Investment selbst verantwortlich und das ganze ist hoch spekulativ!

Inmotion SCV war auch mal ein Teil von NQ Mobile. Oder sind die noch Teil der Firma. Auf jedenfall ein interessantes Produkt. Man kann das Teil sogar per App steuern. Bin gespannt was daraus wird. Der Vorteil gegenüber dem Segway ist es wiegt nur 15kg und man kann es zerlegen.

Das Thema Launcher ist aktuell ein großer Trend. Yahoo, Samsung, Nokia, Jolla gehen gerade alle mit einen Launcher an den Start die auf Android basierenden Smartphones laufen.
Meiner Meinung nach geht es hier um das sammeln von Daten bzw. Monitorisierung von Daten für einen neue Suchmaschine die in Kooperation mit Nokia und Alibaba entwickelt wird. Das ist ein Bereich worauf NQ Mobile spezialiesiert ist. Zurzeit gibt es noch keine Announcments von NQ Mobile. Aber mich würde nicht wundern wenn die Launcher der Firmen wie Yahoo, Nokia, Jolla auch auf dem NQ Live Launcher basieren. Irgendetwas großes wird hier angekündigt werden sobald der Audit durch ist. Vorher davon bin ich überzeugt wird man keine Ankündigungen in diese Richtung machen da der Kurs geshortet wird und gute Nachrichten würden sich nur kurz positiv auf den Kurs auswirken.

Interresant, aus dem Inmotion ist eine neue Marke entstanden. Gyrostep ist eine Französische Firma vermute ich da die Homepage auf Französisch ist. Es kann auch sein das Gyrostep Inmotion gekauft hat. Bleibt abzuwarten was daraus entsteht. Der Internetauftritt ist auf jedenfall toll. Nq Mobile und Samsung haben ja noch einen Deal am laufen. Anscheinend will man Samsung Knox weiterentwickeln für sämtliche Android Geräte. Allein 87 Mill. SEOUL—Die mobile Sicherheitsplattform Knox von Samsung wird Einzug in die kommende Version von Googles Android-Betriebssystem halten. Damit will das Unternehmen die Attraktivität von Android für auf Sicherheit bedachte Unternehmen und Behörden erhöhen, die bisher noch Blackberry als Lösung bevorzugen.

Der Deal zwischen Google GOOGL +2,19% und Samsung ist das jüngste Anzeichen für eine gesteigerte Kooperationsbereitschaft der Technologieriesen. Die beiden Konzerne dominieren den weltweiten Smartphonemarkt mit Hardware aus Südkorea und Software aus den USA.

Samsung war für 30 Prozent der weltweiten Smartphone-Auslieferungen im ersten Quartal 2014 verantwortlich. Laut den Marktforschern von IDC lief auf vier von fünf dieser Geräte das mobile Android-Betriebssystem von Google.

Die Kooperation wurde im Rahmen von Googles Entwicklerkonferenz I/O bekannt, die am Mittwoch in San Francisco gestartet ist. Auf Samsungs mobilen Geräten läuft zum Großteil Android. Doch in den vergangenen Monaten hat das Unternehmen begonnen, auch Smartphones vorzustellen, auf denen das selbst entwickelte Tizen-Betriebssystem zum Einsatz kommt.

Knox auf allen neuen Android-Geräten
Durch den Deal mit Google wird die Sicherheitsplattform Knox auf jedem Gerät installiert, das mit dem neuesten Android-Update ausgeliefert wird. Ein Sprecher von Samsung wollte sich jedoch nicht dazu äußern, wie sich diese Entscheidung auf die Verkaufs- und Vertriebswege bei Samsung auswirkt.

Doch was springt eigentlich für Samsung dabei raus, wenn es seine Sicherheitstechnologie auch für konkurrierende Smartphonehersteller wie LG, HTC und Lenovo zur Verfügung stellt? Vermutlich dürften die Südkoreaner darauf spekulieren, dass durch die zusätzlichen Sicherheitsfunktionen das Ansehen von Android insgesamt steigt. Denn das ist – zumindest vom Sicherheitsaspekt her – momentan noch ziemlich gering.

Der Samsung-Sprecher erklärte, dass von der Zusammenarbeit „alle Android-Nutzer profitieren und damit der Android-Markt für die komplette Branche interessanter" werde.

Samsung teilte mit, dass die Knox-Version, die man für alle Android-Geräte bereitstellen will, einige der Schlüsselfunktionen der Plattform beinhalten wird – darunter ein "Container", der es den Nutzern erlaubt, sensible Informationen in einem geschützten Bereich auf dem Smartphone speichern zu können. Andere Kernelemente von Knox sollen jedoch nicht mit den Konkurrenten geteilt werden, sagte der Samsung-Sprecher.

87 Millionen Samsung-Geräte mit vorinstalliertem Knox-Sicherheitssystem seien im Mai ausgeliefert worden, sagt Injong Rhee, der das Knox-Geschäft bei Samsung leitet.

Vor kurzem hatte das Unternehmen bekanntgegeben, dass fünf mit Knox ausgestattete Smartphones und Tablets aus der Galaxy-Reihe von der Informationstechnologieagentur des US-Verteidigungsministeriums zugelassen wurden. Damit steht es Pentagon-Mitarbeitern frei, diese Geräte zu nutzen.

Google und Samsung hatten Ende vergangenen Jahres bei der Behebung einer mutmaßlichen Sicherheitslücke zusammengearbeitet, die Schadsoftware auf Samsung-Galaxy-Geräten ermöglichen könnte, E-Mails auszulesen und Datenkommunikation aufzuzeichnen. Israelische Sicherheitsexperten hatten die Schwachstelle entdeckt.

Die Sicherheitslücke stehe in Verbindung zum Android-Betriebssystem, dessen Funktionen „auf nicht beabsichtigte Weise" genutzt werden könnten, um unverschlüsselte Daten aus Anwendungen abzufangen, teilte Samsung in einer gemeinsam mit Google veröffentlichten Stellungnahme im Januar mit.

Im gleichen Monat hatten Google und Samsung auch einen umfassenden Lizenzvertrag über die gegenseitige Nutzung von Patenten abgeschlossen. Allerdings blieb dabei unklar, ob die Übereinkunft auf Android begrenzt ist.

Chart sieht natürlich übel aus nach der Short Atacke. Das Produkt von NQ funktioniert und hat Millionen von Downloads, wenn ich einen Finanzbetrug machen würde, dann eher was mit Krediten oder Grundstücken, NQ hat doch ein so ein sichtbares Produkt.

Aber selbst wen man 50% Chancen dem Finanzbetrug einräumt, wäre es immer noch interessant, da nach investresearch das faire KGV bei 20 wäre (http://www.investresearch.net/nq-mobile-aktie/, was ein Kursziel jenseits der 20 US Dollar wäre und mehr als 100% Kurssteigerung.

UPDATE 1-NQ Mobile auditor seeks to expand scope of 2013 audit

NQ Mobile Inc's independent auditor has informed the company that it will need to expand the scope of its 2013 audit, the Chinese mobile security software maker said.

The company's shares were down 21 percent in premarket trading on Thursday.

The stock has been volatile after short-seller Muddy Waters Research Group called NQ Mobile a "massive fraud" in October, a charge the Chinese company rejected.

NQ responded to the short-seller's allegations by forming a special committee, which said in June that it had found no evidence of fraud.

The request from auditor PricewaterhouseCoopers Zhong Tian LLP to perform additional procedures related to their 2013 audit follows the release of the findings by the investigation committee.

NQ said on Thursday its board and audit committee were considering the auditor's request.

The company also said that the chair of its audit committee would step down due to personal reasons, effective July 6.

Short-sellers make money when the stock price of a company drops. They sell borrowed shares in the hope of buying them back at a lower price, returning them to the lender and pocketing the difference.

NQ's shares closed at $6.76 on Wednesday on the New York Stock Exchange. Up to Wednesday's close, the stock had lost more than two-thirds of its value since Muddy Waters' allegations. (Reporting by Supantha Mukherjee in Bangalore; Editing by Saumyadeb Chakrabarty)

m.E. Gute Chancen der Kurssturz war wieder sehr heftig (auch nicht zum ersten Mal), aber im Prinzip ist noch nichts schlimmes passiert, es kann schnell wieder zu Beschwichtigungen des Managements kommen, dass das Geschäft ja läuft und das der Bericht in Kürze veröffentlicht wird.
Das hatten wir nun schon ein paar Mal und da ist bei dem gigantischen Volumen immer noch ordentlich Spannung drin.
Einziger Wermutstropfen, dass nun wohl Altimeter ausgestiegen ist...aber als Investor muß man sich ja auch ein Austiegslimit setzen...

35 Millionen Stück wurden gestern gehandelt, laut Yahoo beläuft sich die Anzahl der umlaufenden Aktien nur auf 19 Mill. Selbst wenn die Altimeter-Aktien jetzt dazu gekommen wären kann man sich ausrechnen wieviel hier wieder geshortet wurde.

Denke hier wird es bald wieder in die andere Richtung gehen, es konnte kein Bilanzbetrug festgestellt werden. Wie Subdi in seiner Empfehlung beschrieben hat, waren ja 47% des Freefloats short. Da haben die Shorties wohl nochmals nachgelegt. Denke nach der Nachricht, dass hier keine Unregelmässigkeiten festgestellt werden konnten, werden einige Shorties ihre Positionen glatt stellen. NQ Mobile strong buy!

Ich hab gestern nochmal nachgelegt. Ich verfolge schon länger die NQ Mobile Geschichte mit. Das Unternehmen hat sehr viel Potential und ist durch die Shortattacken zu unrecht in Veruf geraten. Ich glaube wer hier was riskiert wird nicht enttäuscht werden. (nur meine Meinung)

Der Kurs ist soweit im Keller, da kann es auch mal 50 -70 Prozent an einem tag hochgehen!

When the stock market opened on Thursday, NQ Mobile, a Chinese mobile security company, had a valuation of $1.1 billion. Just hours later, half of its value was erased.

Call it the Muddy Waters effect. A short-selling firm known for its scathing reports on Chinese companies, Muddy Waters released a harsh assessment of NQ Mobile on Thursday, calling it a “massive fraud.”

NQ Mobile immediately experienced a stomach-turning plunge, with its shares falling more than 50 percent. The stock, which opened the day at $23 a share, fell as low as $8.46 before recovering slightly to close at $12.09. The company is listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

In its research note, Muddy Waters argued that “at least 72 percent of NQ’s purported 2012 China security revenue is fictitious,” saying the company was a “zero.”

“NQ’s largest customer by far is really NQ,” Muddy Waters, which is run by Carson C. Block, said. The note added that the company’s “future is as bleak as its past,” and that its “acquisitions are highly likely to be corrupt.”

In a statement, NQ said the accusations were “false,” adding that it would issue a more detailed response before the market opens in the United States on Friday.

“NQ Mobile will respond quickly, transparently and forcefully to these false allegations regarding our company,” the statement said.

The damage control effort wasn’t enough to prop up the stock, which previously had experienced a rapid rise this year as big investors reported holding significant stakes. SAC Capital Advisors, a big hedge fund contending with accusations of insider trading, is a major investor in NQ Mobile, according to disclosures at the end of August.

SAC, which is owned by the billionaire Steven A. Cohen, was the company’s 10th largest shareholder, with a 1.91 percent stake as of Aug. 28, a disclosure shows. And a unit of SAC, CR Intrinsic, was the fifth-largest holder, with a stake of 2.86 percent.

A previous bet by Muddy Waters affected another big hedge fund. In 2011, Muddy Waters released a critical report on Sino-Forest, a Chinese forestry company, wiping billions of dollars from its market value. Sino-Forest’s investors included Paulson & Company, the hedge fund run by John A. Paulson.

On Thursday, Muddy Waters said NQ Mobile was a “strong sell.” Though the company says it has a 55 percent market share in China, the number is actually closer to 1.5 percent, Muddy Waters claimed.

On its Web site, NQ Mobile says it “strives to become the most trusted mobile Internet platform for consumers and enterprises around the world.”

Not all of Muddy Water’s calls result in big stock movements. In July, shares of the American Tower Corporation fell just 1.1 percent on the day that Muddy Waters called it a “strong sell.”

After American Tower announced a big acquisition in September, Muddy Waters said in a report that it was “more skeptical than ever.”

This “seminal win,” according to Khan, resulted in 800,000 seats successfully deployed, with manpower, systems, and tools for additional growth.

Hou isn’t sitting still though. The NationSky team continues to build the backbone of their systems and mobile enterprise application platform (MEAP) offerings. “The credibility established with the expansion into hosted enterprise solutions, and the broader set of productivity applications, makes us a natural go-to company when Apple, China Mobile, Unicom, Lenovo, Samsung, and others have partners looking for solutions,” said Khan.

NationSky isn’t overlooking the smaller customer either; they offer on-premise installations as well.

This growth resulted in a need to build their consulting arm for implementations and ongoing site analysis for new customers. The consulting arm has become integral in the RFP, RFQ processes, and in designing strategic roadmaps for new projects.

These early wins, and investment in the business, position NQ well to fend off emerging competitors “who have not been able to gain traction in the China market to date,” Khan stated. Continuing on prospects for growth, Khan offered that State owned enterprises and China based multi-nationals have skipped large scale deployments of PCs and gone straight to tablets and smart-phones, providing additional tailwinds for NQ’s enterprise business, which currently serves about 80 Fortune 500 companies and 1,250 total customers.

Consumer Business Growth Strategy

NQ started out as a mobile security app provider and then quickly migrated to a broader set of productivity applications and other assets. Security applications provided a primary monetization through premium subscriptions, establishing an initial user base as a foundation for growth with Edison Award winning applications like NQ Family Guardian and others.

Over the last two to three years, that user base has expanded exponentially, with a thriving gaming operations business and more recently NQLive and Music Radar are emerging and promising products.

NQLive replaces the wallpaper on your device with a more interactive, informative, and immersive experience. This engagement mechanism is tailored to your interests without replacing the traditional function or experience of the native Android launcher. NQ’s VLife product shares the same technology and has been used frequently by film studios in support of major motion picture releases. Recent partnerships include China Telecom and Sprint.

Music Radar recognizes song artifacts, whether you hum a tune or hear it playing. It allows you to instantly identify the song, download lyrics, share with friends with similar tastes, buy the song, or whatever the developers on a partner platform decide. Recent partnerships include Huawei, Sprint, and China Unicom.

The monetization models have also evolved as consumer offerings have grown and the user base expanded. While premium subscriptions are still a core, the main underlying model for all consumer assets is now application referrals and traditional brand advertising. “That transition of the businesses… has gone extremely well” as evidenced by “the growth of the advertising businesses we have deployed,” said Khan.

NQ currently has over 1000 premium advertisers appearing in video, banner, application wall, and audio ads, as well as in-app alerts and other notification types. Breaking down a few of advertising types into daily download results, one quickly gets a sense of volume.

Habe soeben die neue Nachricht von NQ gelesen und verstehe sie eigentlich positiv. Deshalb wundert es mich, weil die Aktie momentan einen Absturz hinlegt.

NQ Mobile hat das Angebot das von Bison Capital stammte abgelehnt. Bison Capital wollte NQ Mobile für $9.50/Aktie von der Börse nehmen bzw. privatisieren. Diese Meldung wurde natürlich von den Shortis genutzt. Mein Tipp einfach mal nich den Kurs verfolgen. Es wird alles gut davon bin ich überzeugt!

man kann leider nur abwarten und hoffen das sich beim Kurs trotzdem alles zum Gutem wendet. Ich habe bei LKM leider dick in die Kacke gegriffen und sehe hier nun schon seit ca. 4 Jahren wie Aktionäre verarscht werden.
