vor eineinhalb Jahren habe ich hier auf w-o mal einen Thread zu dieser Aktie eröffnet:

Bin dann aber vor einigen Monaten ausgestiegen und habe den Thread auch nicht mehr gepflegt.

Positive Exploration Results Show New Graphite Mineralisation

StratMin (AIM: STGR), the graphite production and exploration company with assets in Madagascar, today announces positive exploration results at its Loharano property, which confirm the presence of previously unidentified graphite mineralisation adjacent to its producing deposit.

The Loharano property includes the actively mined and producing Loharano graphite deposit, several historical graphite deposits, mapped graphitic gneiss units and conspicuously mineralised prospects.

At the northern part of the Loharano property, approximately 1,500 metres south east of the Loharano producing deposit, is the Mahefadok prospect. Four recently excavated pits here have revealed significant regolith (weathered material that occurs above unweathered bedrock) hosted graphite mineralisation at depth. These pits were excavated over a north-south distance of approximately 70 metres and the Company's in-house laboratory analysis of the pit samples included three metres at 7.04 per cent total carbon.

This newly identified graphite mineralisation occurs approximately 500 metres north of two mapped north-south graphitic gneiss units and could represent a possible extension. The Company has therefore decided to embark upon a well-defined exploration programme of the Mahefadok prospect and the graphitic gneiss units to the south in order to establish the extent of the regolith-hosted graphite mineralisation.

The exploration programme will take place over the coming months and will include geological observations, pitting and trenching, and possibly ground geophysical surveying (magnetics and electromagnetics) subject to the outcome of preliminary test traverses.

      Manoli Yannaghas, Managing Director, commented;

"These results are extremely encouraging for the Company. Our exploration efforts have confirmed the presence of significant graphite mineralisation beyond the Loharano deposit and we expect that the forthcoming systematic exploration will result in the delineation of additional graphite resources.

"We look forward to updating shareholders over the coming months on both this exploration programme, and our ongoing production and sales progress."

      Company Presentation

The Company is also pleased to announce that it has published an updated version of the Company's investor presentation on its website, www.stratminglobal.com...............

StratMin Production Higher In March On Better Plant Efficiency

LONDON (Alliance News) - StratMin Global Resources PLC shares were higher early Monday after the company said production volumes in March significantly improved from February due to increased efficiency at its plant in Madagascar.

The graphite production and exploration company said wet graphite production from its beneficiation plant in March hit 528 tonnes, up from 360 tonnes in February. Drier production was slightly lower at 91 tonnes compared with 130 tonnes but overall screening production rose to 130 tonnes, compared with 83 tonnes a month earlier.

StratMin said the improvement was down to increased efficiency at its plant, with recovery levels higher due to better feed rates and flow management through the flotation cells.

It sold 215 tonnes of graphite in the month, up from 150 a month earlier.

"I am delighted to report a significant increase in both graphite production and sales during the month thereby making March StratMin's most successful month to date. These increases coupled with the new mill soon to become fully operational will see the company's efforts over the last two years come to fruition," said Managing Director Manoli Yannaghas.

StratMin shares were up 5.6% to 4.75 pence.

Stratmin Global Resources boss: we’re getting into our groove
      By Juliet Mann April 14 2015, 3:55pm

Stratmin Global Resources’ (LON:STGR) Director Manoli Yannaghas tells Proactiveinvestors that March production volumes were significantly up on the February numbers, thanks to increased efficiency on-site. “We are getting better at it basically – we understand the machinery more, we understand the finer points of graphite production – it is all about the detail”, he said.

Yannaghas says the Madagascar-based graphite production and exploration company has been moving forward in the right direction consistently all this year and the latter part of last year .”We have demonstrated for the first time that this company is starting to do something: we produce, we are beginning to produce in volume, we will increase our grade, we sell, we have income, we are doing all the things we said we are doing “ he said.

      Buying opportunity

Stratmin has ‘only explored 10 per cent of the Lohorano property’ and has another licence, Antsirabe, in Madagascar.

Now trading at 4.75p a share, against 27.5p September 2013 and 50p before its earlier setbacks, the company, chaired by ex-Madagascar Oil and Gas boss Laurie Hunter and advised by ex-Rio Tinto technical luminary Rob Marsden, has now a 5 year sales contract in place with global leader Asbury Carbons.

Market cap update 24 April 2015

Stratmin Global's market cap is now £6.6m

Below it's peers market caps, most of them won't be producing any graphite for at least 1-2years and most of them have no off-take deal or full finance in place.

      Canada

      Focus Graphite.......£21m
      Mason Graphite.......£23m
      Northern Graphite....£21m
      Alabama Resources.£14m

      US

      Energizer Resources..£18.5m

      Australia

      Talga Resources....£27m
      Triton Minerals......£71m
      Valence Industries..£33m
      Magnis Resources...£38m
      Kibaran Resources..£13m

From the point of view of longer termers

I doubt that long termers are going to accept anything less than an equal seat at the graphite table and a paltry valuation of 6 million. There is still no logical reason for Graphite producer STGR to be valued up to 10 times less than its closest non-producing peers.

The share price/market cap will reflect all this soon enough, even it is in a few months time.

So no, you are not missing something...the market has......

Tesla Batteries – The Start of Something Big?

      By James Richings | June 4, 2015

Until now, Tesla has perhaps been best-known for their sleek, market-leading electric cars – most recently the coveted Model S. But with the unveiling of their first, beautifully designed home battery on April 30th, conversation turned to what Tesla’s new development could mean for the energy industry.

Though the renewable sector has made huge strides in recent years – with some 13% of the USA’s energy now coming from sustainable sources – experts say we’re still not moving fast enough.

Could this battery be the key to ending our dependence on fossil fuels.......

Mercedes-Benz is going head-to-head against Tesla with a home battery

By Chris Ziegler on June 9, 2015 12:47 pm

Tesla might seem uniquely qualified to offer giant packs of batteries that you mount on the wall of your home, but it's certainly not the only automaker in the world making electric cars. That's where Daimler comes in — the German conglomerate is planning to offer Mercedes-Benz-branded battery packs starting this September in its home country through subsidiary Accumotive, and it's taking registrations now.

Like Tesla, Mercedes' battery packs are filled with cells originally designed with cars in mind, and they're designed to even the load so solar energy can be stored overnight and homes can draw from the grid during off-peak hours. The company says that you can combine up to eight packs — 2.5 kWh each, for a total of 20 kWh — which will make it appropriate both for home and business use. (It also seems that the company will be offering higher-storage options in custom configurations for extremely large users.) Similarly, Tesla's Powerwalls can be combined into "Powerpacks" that scale all the way up to 10 MWh or more.

Tesla says it has seen extraordinary demand for the Powerwalls, so it's conceivable that Mercedes' entrance to the market will help spread out demand — and a little competition never hurt. No word on pricing yet, but Tesla's systems start at $3,500.

StratMin Global Resources Says Bass Metals To Take Stake In Subsidiary

      Wed, 2nd Sep 2015 08:00

LONDON (Alliance News) - StratMin Global Resources PLC on Wednesday said it has agreed a farm in deal with Bass Metals Ltd, a resources company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.

The deal means that Bass will acquire up to 35% of the interest in the existing Loharano mine and processing operations of StratMin via an initial investment into Graphmada Mauritius.

Graphmada Mauritius is a subsidiary of StratMin.

Bass will invest GBP2 million in two tranches for an initial interest of 25% in the subsidiary.

It will be able to take a further 10% stake subject to completing the initial investment by November 30. The payment required will be determined depending on StratMin's share price in the event that Bass takes up its option.

"This transaction enables the company to fund the group with investment at a substantial implied premium to the current share price and demonstrates a strong endorsement of our strategy," Chief Executive Brett Boynton said in a statement.

"Working with Bass is a cost effective entry to the very sophisticated graphite and renewable energy investor base in Australia without the cost of a dual listing," Boynton added.

The CEO said the deal reduces funding risk for StratMin by giving it access to a "large and active" graphite investor pool. He added that StratMin can be confident enough to look at more significant transactions as a result of the deal.

"We have an opportunity now to capitalise on the early mover status StratMin has gained and whilst most of our peers are focused on completing feasibility studies and cost cutting, together with Bass, we can work on expanding production from Loharano and developing new opportunities," Boynton said.

DAZU mal ein int. beitrag ausm LSE- board:

When asking Brett about Bass, I got this reply: "Bass is an investment vehicle that has been set up to find projects. I have met some of the key shareholders who will be funding this. The funds will come when we have completed the administrative setup in Mauritius. Bass is just the most cost effective way for us to raise capital in Australia. They needed a firm deal to take to the local market and the deal needed to be announced for this to happen." This is a great outcome for Stratmin.

We are getting a sophisticated graphite investor pool coming in at a big premium to the share price.

      Hope this helps

This will be a breakout year for batteries FORTUNE SEPTEMBER 3, 2015 Projects using low cost lithium-ion batteries are booming, transforming how energy is stored across the U.S. Batteries that let utilities, businesses, and solar panel owners store energy is a rapidly growing market.

And it’s not just because Tesla, the buzzy automaker, has given the so-called grid battery industry a big boost in visibility by introducing its own line of industrial-sized batteries. This year, there will be 220 megawatts of energy storage projects built across the country, according to a new report from research firm GTM Research. The vast majority of these projects will use batteries, and specifically low cost lithium-ion batteries. In short, this will likely be a breakout year for battery makers. In terms of power, 220 megawatts is not a whole lot. A large solar farm can generate hundreds of megawatts of energy while a large coal or natural gas plant can generate a thousand megawatts. But the quick growth, and the recent emergence, of the energy storage industry in the U.S. is really what matters.

In the second quarter, the amount of energy storage projects installed was nine times higher than the amount built during the same time in 2014 and six times more than during the first quarter of 2015.

hintergrund DAFÜR dürfte eine unlängst erstellte studie von ALB. capital sein,
die einen FAIREN wert bei 8,1p sieht...........wie auch user jimbobtechstock
      im LSE-board erläutert......

Allenby Capital quote fair value of 8.1p based solely on Loharano operations, which they say is currently running at 6 k tpa today and should be running at 12k tpa by 2017.

And a great part is path to 8.1p is pretty much de-risked by the Bass Metals deal, "Our base case model (only Loharano) assumes no further equity placing or other type of financing activity". Ie Loharano's path to 12k tpa is now self-funding. And an ever better part is the Allenby projections extend to 18.5p incorporating the second planned mine at Mahefadok. And the best part: 23.7p incorporating Vatomaina. Allenby do caution that because BFS for the newer projects is yet to complete they are setting fair value in their Introductory note at 8.1p with objectives that are "readily achievable for management and that can be funded out of the existing cash pile and from operational cash flows."

In other words 8.1p initial target looks pretty much as de-risked as it can be and as the risks for other projects drop - over the coming months (3m timetable for Mahefadok BFS according to Allenby) - I for one would expect to see some of that value reflected in the SP above "base case model". LONDON (Alliance News) - StratMin Global Resources PLC on Wednesday welcomed an announcement by Bass Metals Ltd, as its funding partner entered into an agreement that will see Liongold Corp Ltd pay AUD2.5 million to Bass in settlement of litigation.
The litigation in question was taking place in the Supreme Court of Western Australia. It followed the termination of agreements for the sale of Bass Metals' shares in Hellyer Mill Operations Pty Ltd and a proposed subscription by Liongold for shares in Bass, according to Bass Metals' announcement.

The AUD2.5 million will be paid in a series of staged payments from December 31 to the end of June 2016.

"This is an outstanding development for Bass and StratMin. With zero dilution for shareholders, Bass has substantially funded their 25% farm in to Graphmada [in Madagascar]," StratMin Chief Executive Brett Boynton said in a statement.

"We have worked closely with the Bass team over the last few months to bring in the minimum funding required and give them time to achieve this settlement. They are now positioned to complete the initial tranche of our deal and further capitalise their company to fund the expansion of our graphite production through their investment in Graphmada," Boynton said.

"Getting to this outcome required patience, but the time has been well used with the StratMin ground team making significant headway on the refurbishment programme at the plant. Twenty-four hour production is continuing. We have been extremely busy on site and will shortly be able to share updates on both production advances and interim results from the exploration program. We are looking forward to a strong run to the year end and an exciting year ahead," Boynton added.

Shares in StratMin were up 5.1% at 3.81 pence on Wednesday morning.

      StratMin Global Resources Plc

      ("StratMin" or the "Company")

Exploration Program Update - Identification of Significant New Mineralisation

StratMin Global Resources Plc (AIM: STGR), London's only listed graphite production and exploration company, announces continued success in its ongoing exploration program.

      Summary:

-- In August 2015, StratMin initiated an extensive exploration program over the Loharano and Mahefadok project areas.

-- The deliverables of this exploration program were:

-- The completion of a detailed topographical survey of the entire area
-- To confirm the continuity of known mineralisation
      -- To improve grade control
-- The topographical mapping survey has been completed and will assist in operations and expansion planning.

-- Geophysics was deployed over the Loharano and Mahefadok areas and anomalies are highly correlated to known graphite mineralisation.

-- Significant new anomalous zones have been identified.

-- In conjunction with StratMin's funding partner, Bass Metals Ltd, and subject to confirmatory testing of the newly identified zones, Stratmin will accelerate the development of the planned 12,000 tpa flake graphite concentrate plant adjacent to the current plant.

-- A high-resolution model of the mine area was completed which will enable detailed planning for mining and grade control.

-- Consistency in the plant feed has been significantly improved.

      Brett Boynton, CEO, commented:

"The first phase of the exploration program has delivered excellent results and we are very excited with the potential for additional mineralisation not previously detected. Early exploration relied heavily on identifying outcropping mineralisation near old French era workings, however with the deployment of geophysics, StratMin has quickly, and at low cost, been able to re-assess the potential of the entire area. The newly identified target areas are completely under cover and have therefore been historically overlooked, but represent a significant economic opportunity.

"Subject to follow up testing confirming mineralisation we hope to have sufficient graphitic ore in the existing operational area to support a significant expansion program. Following this, further development at StratMin's adjacent site, Mahefadok, would be funded through cash flow.

"The impact of robust grade control measures has been immediately tangible. The mine is now delivering a more consistent feed into the processing plant and, critically, avoiding stressing the plant with low grade and deleterious materials. This has provided processing and efficiency gains across the board, but especially in the higher input cost milling and floatation processes. This optimisation is a key element to extracting maximum return from already invested capital.

"I am delighted with the progress that StratMin has made over the last few months and look forward to updating shareholders in due course."...............
