GOLD HORIZON-DRILLS 5.06 G/T GOLD OVER 2.6 METERS

Metals Creek Resources Corp. has released padditional drill results from its continuing program
at the Ogden property in the Timmins gold camp.
Highlights include the possible extension of the Thomas Ogden mineralization 480 meters to the west,
where step out hole OG16-040 intersected 5.06 grams per tonne (g/t) Au over 2.6 meters within a
wider zone of mineralization consisting of 0.78 g/t over 24.4 m.

The Ogden claims cover eight kilometers of strike length of the Porcupine-Destor Fault between Goldcorp's 20 million oz Dome Mine and Lake Shore Gold's West Timmins Mine.

The Property is held under a joint venture in which Metals Creek owns 50%, and Goldcorp Canada Ltd. ("Goldcorp") owns 50% (as manager and on behalf of the Porcupine Joint Venture, a joint venture between Goldcorp Inc. and Goldcorp Canada Ltd.) with MEK being the operator of the project.

This step-out hole is very significant in that it has demonstrated the presence of high grade gold mineralization
west of Thomas Ogden Zone (TOZ).

Bin dabei. Scheint interessant zu werden.
Kann mir gut vorstellen, dass Goldcorp dort in "ferner" Zukunft eine reine Mine errichtet und ihre Dome Mine damit füttert.
Die neuesten Bohrergebnisse sind vielversprechend.
Für den Sommer sind zusätzliche Bohrungen im Umfang von 3500m geplant.
Timmins ist momentan sowieso in aller Munde.

Ein so hohen Goldgrad von 2732 g/t in der Bohrprobe des Lochs TOG 13-25 hab ich noch niemals gesehen. Allerdings nur über 0,93 Meter.

Trotzdem. Ist eine reine Zockersache bei einer Firma mit einem Marktcap von gerade mal 2,7 Millionen CAD. Da kann es auch mal schnell 50% - 70% runter gehen wenn der Timmins Hype abebt.
Schaun wa mal und hoffen das Beste.

Ich bin vor 2 Wochen beim Nachbarn Explor Resources (EXS) eingestiegen.
Bei Metals Creek (MEK) warte ich noch, falls der Goldpreis korrigiert und die Preise fallen.

Ja, vielleicht bin ich zu früh eingestiegen und es geht noch etwas nach unten. Doch es gibt viele Dinge die mich hier zuversichtlich gestimmt haben.
- positive Stimmung in Timmins durch bevorstehender Lake Shore Übernahme
- hervorragende Lage des Konzessionsgebietes
- gute Goldpreisentwicklung
- Umstrukturierungen beim Joint Venture Partner Goldsource in Richtung mehr Exploration
- geringe Marktbewertung die ordentlich Luft nach oben hat
- aktive Bohrtätigkeiten
- gute Bohrergebnisse in der Thomas Ogden Zone
- und das neuste Bohrergebnis der Oberflächenbohrung in einer völlig neuen Zone

Gerade der letzte Punkt ist sehr interessant. Die Bohrung außerhalb der Thomas Ogden Zone mit einer wie ich gelesen habe nicht besonders Tiefen Bohrung. In einem Gebiet, in dem bisher noch nicht geschürft wurde. Das würde die Möglichkeit eröffen sogar eine Open Pit Mine hier zu betreiben. Die Beschaffenheit ist ähnlich der der Thomas Ogden Zone.

Wenn Goldsource damit einverstanden ist weitere Bohrungen in der neuen Zone vorzunehmen, dann werden wir wohl in 3-5 Monaten mehr wissen.

Meiner Erfahrung nach, steigen Kurse zwischen 2-3 Monate vorher bis zu erwartenten News langsam an.
Deshalb gebe ich dir recht, dass man hier auch noch gut 1-3 Monate mit dem Einstieg warten kann. Aber in Timmins ist mir gerade zu viel los. Deshalb bin ich jetzt schon dabei.

Goldsource? Du meinst sicher Goldcorp?!
Ja, der richtige Einstiegszeitpunkt ist nie ein einfaches Thema.
Bei Explor Resources war ich auch etwas schnell, aber man kann immer noch nachladen.

PS: Goldsource (GCU) habe ich auf der Watchlist.

Huch! Danke für die Korrektur.
Bei Goldsource bin ich vor kurzem ausgestiegen. War ganz zufrieden. Es ist mit Sicherheit noch Potential vorhanden.
Aber natürlich meinte ich Goldcorp.

Paar gute Ergebnisse jetzt dann könnte es hier auch endlich mal losgehen.
Andere Aktien mit diesen Ergebnissen wären schon lange bei 20-30cent hier will man bestätigte Ergebnisse sehen.

Ja, es sieht im Moment wirklich gut aus.
Die Chunks, die auf dem freien Markt zur Verfügung stehen sind sehr klein. Das macht den Kurs sehr anfällig. Nach oben wie nach unten.
Aber da lässt sich vor den Bohrergebnissen im moment keiner die Butter vom Brot nehmen.
Bin gespannt wie es in den nächsten Wochen laufen wird.
Wenn in Timmins die Gerüchteküche weiter brodelt halte ich hier Kurse um die 0,25 CAD kurzfristig (vor den Bohrergebnissen) schon für gut möglich.
Kommt drauf an ob wir gegen eine Wall stoßen oder freie Fahrt haben.

ja sieht gut aus stimme ich so zu falls keine guten Ergebnisse kommen gehts hier auch wieder schnell runter.
Glück für die Investoren die nochmal günstig durch die KE reingekommen sind.
War schon merkwürdig kaum Trades am Freitag wo überall die Post abging.

Metals Creek Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:MEK) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that drilling continues to intersect gold mineralization west of the Thomas Ogden Zone (TOG) on the Ogden Gold Project, Timmins, Ontario.

The Property is held under a joint venture in which Metals Creek owns 50%, and Goldcorp Canada Ltd. ("Goldcorp") owns 50% (as manager and on behalf of the Porcupine Joint Venture, a joint venture between Goldcorp Inc. and Goldcorp Canada Ltd.) with MEK being the operator of the project. The Ogden claims cover eight kilometers of strike length of the Porcupine-Destor Fault between Goldcorp's 16.5 million oz. Dome Mine and Tahoe Resources West Timmins Mine.

The vast majority of the Porcupine-Destor Fault on the property is underexplored, compared to other properties in the Timmins Gold camp.

The Company drilled three holes (See News Release dated May 4, 2016) totaling 1337 meters in an attempt to better define the Thomas Ogden Stratigraphy west of TOG and to follow-up on the previously announced results from OG15-040 (see News Release March 4, 2016) which returned a down hole intercept of 5.06 grammes per tonnes (g/t) over 2.6 meters (m) in the newly discovered 15-40 zone.

TOG-16-46 was drilled 100 meters east of OG15-040, and returned a down hole intercept (282.0-288.58m) of 1.19 g/t over 6.58m. This intersection is described as a strongly altered conglomerate and greywacke characterized by heavy albitization and silicification associated with 1 to 8% disseminated pyrite and local arsenopyrite. A second zone of mineralization was also intersected in hole TOG-46-46 returning a down hole intercept (270.95-272.95m) of 1.30 g/t gold over 2.0m with similar style alteration and mineralization. Reported drill intercepts are not true widths. At this time there is insufficient data to calculate true orientations.

Holes TOG-16-44 and 45 did not return any significant results while encountering similar style alteration to that of TOG.

Management is highly encouraged by the 15-40 zone results to date as it is reminiscent of the first drilling at the Thomas Ogden Zone. Drilling on the Ogden Property will resume once results are compiled and future drill targets are prioritized.

All split core samples were sent to Accurassay, an accredited laboratory in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The precious metals were analyzed utilizing a standard fire assay with an atomic absorption finish. As part of the Corporations QAQC protocol, approximately 10% of the samples submitted for assay were also sent for check assays. Standards and blanks were inserted randomly into the sample shipments as part of the sampling protocol. Samples with fire assay results above 1.0 g/t gold are re-analyzed using a gravimetric finish and samples with fire assay results above 5.0 g/t gold or samples showing visible gold are analyzed using the pulp metallic method.

Metals Creek has been accepted to participate in the Junior Exploration Assistance Program (JEAP) grant of up to 33.3% of approved exploration expenses up to a maximum of $100,000 on the Ogden Project. MEK would like to thank the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund and the Ontario Prospectors Association for the opportunity to participate in this program.

This round of drilling will be comprised of approximately 2000 meters focused primarily on the Thomas Ogden Zone where drilling in 2012 intercepted 49.96 grammes per tonne (g/t) gold over 9 meters (m), including 434.77g/t over 1 m (See MEK news release dated April 10, 2012), and drilling in 2013 had intercepted 210.19 g/t gold over 12.53 m, including 2732.6 g/t gold over 0.93 m. (See MEK news release dated May 22, 2013).

Results from this drilling will be released when received and data is compiled.

MEK Acquires Additional Claims Along the Cape Ray/Rogerson Lake Gold Trend

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Oct. 17, 2016) - Metals Creek Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:MEK) (Metals Creek or The Company) is pleased to announce that in light of a recent staking rush in central Newfoundland, the company has acquired by staking a 100% interest in 60 units (The Rogerson Lake claims) in central Newfoundland.

The Rogerson Lake claims are located adjacent to Marathon Golds Valentine Lake Project and is contiguous with, and lying on the same structure as Altius Minerals Corp.'s recently announced Alder gold zone discovery. These new claims are approx. 3 km west of the Alder and Birch zone discoveries made by Altius Minerals. In recent weeks over 5,000 claim units have been staked by various parties including Altius Minerals and Prospector Shawn Ryan. The staking is centred on the northeast trending Rogerson Lake Conglomerate which is interpreted to be an extension of the auriferous Cape Ray Fault zone to the southwest.

On Sept. 20, 2016, Altius Minerals announced the discovery of widespread and high-grade gold occurrences, including the Alder zone, northeast of the Valentine Lake deposits along the same structural trend hosting Marathon Gold Corp.'s (greater-than-one-million-ounce) Valentine Lake project.

In addition to the recently staked 60 units, Metals Creek holds the Staghorn Property, which hosts a number of prospective gold systems including the Woods Lake Zone, Ryan's Hammer and the Rich House occurrences. The Staghorn Property is located to the southwest of Marathon's Valentine deposit and covers approximately 62 km strike length of the same gold trend. This property is currently under option to Benton Resources, who is earning a 60% interest, with an option to increase to 70% interest (see press release 18 November 2014). Metals Creek and Benton Resources also own a 50/50 interest in 120 units staked subsequent to the option agreement.

habe ich auch den eindruck, 1 mio MK war ja wirklich lächerlich. Die letzten Bohrungen waren auch alle ganz gut und Cash war auch noch etwas da glaube 500k. 3000g/t über 1m und über 200g/t über 10m sind doch gute Ansätze.

Naja mal sehen wei es weiter geht. Hatte den Titel eigentlich schon abgeschrieben.

What can you do when a company has $2 million in the bank and a market cap of just under $4.5 million; it’s run by one of those honored by PDAC as a Bill Dennis Prospector of the Year for 2007? What do you do when they have released gold numbers as high as 210.19 g/t over 12.53 meters in hole TOG13-25 and their primary project has a former producing gold mine and a historic resource of 132,000 ounces?

If you have even a lick of sense, you go out and buy some shares. That’s what I did.

A year ago I read about a company drilling in Ecuador. It was an Australian company, which I hate, listed on AIM, which I hate, had a zillion shares outstanding like all AIM, which I hate, and was quoted in British pence. Which I hate.

Their website sucked and there was nothing at all good about the company except some drill results. They were in the wrong country, with the wrong structure, listed on the wrong exchange and you had to wade through a swamp to figure out what they were doing. I emailed the president of the company with some simple questions and I’m still waiting for an answer a year later.

But they had gold and copper coming out of their ears with results of 1050 meters of .68% copper with .92 g/t gold, 772 meters of .80% copper and 1.19 g/t gold and kept drilling kilometer long intercepts. Well, if you have any sense, you go buy some shares and I did. The shares were 3 pence then and 34 pence now for a 1033% + increase in eleven months.

If you deliver the goods, the punters will beat a path to your door. Eventually. It helps a lot if you can figure out how to tell the story so others can see what you see.

Someone contacted me recently about a company whose major project is a 50/50 JV with Goldcorp on a project in the heart of the Timmins Gold camp they call the Ogden property. The deposit covers a total of eight kilometers of strike on the Porcupine-Destor Fault in between the Goldcorp Dome Mine and the West Timmins Mine owned by Tahoe Resources. Basically Ogden is right in the guts of elephant country and has never been adequately prospected before.

Metals Creek optioned the property from Goldcorp in 2008 and completed a work commitment of $3.1 million and issued shares to earn their 50%. MEK is the operator of the JV and continues to drill. Ogden consists of 84 patented and unpatented claims totaling about 1184 hectares. Between 5 and 8 km to the east on trend are six producers and past producers of over 24 million ounces of gold including 17 million ounces just from the Dome Mine.

Since signing the deal with Goldcorp, MEK has completed 104 diamond drill holes and 26,447 meters of core. On the 11th of January the company released drill results from a six-hole 2,382-meter program. The results were excellent and typical for the area and included 8.2 meters of 5.73 g/t gold, 12.45 meters of 4.39 g/t gold and 5.06 meters of 1.2 g/t gold. Past result from 2013 included a bonanza hole with 210.9 g/t gold over 12.53 meters in hole 25.

Metals Creek is run by Sandy Stares. He was one of the winners of the PDAC prospector of the year for 2007 and won the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee metal for his contributions to the prospecting community in Canada in 2013. His family has a long line of successful prospectors.

In MEK you have a trifecta. They have the ground, they have the management and they have money in the bank and just for fun are paired with one of the biggest gold miners in the world. This is a slam-dunk. I was buying at $.07 and the word got out and the shares went higher. I should have bought more.

Metals Creek has half a dozen other projects, none as important as Ogden but nice never the less and they continue to advance them. MEK is not a one trick pony.

Gold hit bottom on December 15th of 2016 and it was called perfectly using the DSI provided by Trade-Futures.com as the dollar index topped on the same day. We have had an incredible move higher with indexes such as the HUI up 37% in seven weeks. We are due for a correction. The bulls are rousing and I’d like to see them go back to sleep so I can scarp up more great shares cheap. Look for a sharp correction before gold and silver start their next move much higher.

wir hatten schonmal 2012 und 2010 12 und 13 Mio Shares. also knappe 6 geht ja denn noch. Trotzdem bleibe ich dabei wenn 15% der Shares den Besitzer wechseln und 20% bei rumkommen ist das nur ein zock. 1-2 große scheinen immer wieder ab zu laden ins Bid.

Metals Creek Resources Corp. has been notified that Trifecta Gold Ltd. has successfully completed a plan of arrangement with Strategic Metals Ltd., pursuant to which Strategic has distributed a total of 19,872,254 common shares to Strategic's shareholders pursuant to the arrangement, in conjunction with the listing of Trifecta's common shares on the TSX Venture Exchange (see Trifecta Gold's news release dated June 15, 2017).

Metals Creek and Trifecta had earlier completed an option agreement on Metals Creek's Squid property in northwest Yukon, which was contingent on the completion of this plan of arrangement. The Squid claims comprise the main part of Trifecta's Trident property. A brief description taken from Trifecta's recent news release follows below.

The road-accessible Trident property covers the headwaters of the Matson Creek placer gold camp, located about 60 kilometres northwest of the White Gold deposit. The property has an extensive system of roads and trails that connects the main exploration areas to an established trailer camp and a gravel airstrip. Limited drilling by previous operators (Metals Creek) has produced very promising results, including 1.55 grams per tonne gold and 114 grams per tonne silver over 21 metres at the Exploits zone. Where observed in trenches and drill holes, the mineralized zone is shallowly dipping and strongly oxidized. Trifecta expects to start drilling at the Trident property in July, immediately following completion of the drill program at Eureka. Phase I soil sampling will be followed by approximately 800 metres of diamond drilling that would focus on expanding the Exploits zone along strike and downdip. Pending favourable results, drilling can be extended into late fall.

In a news release dated Dec. 19, 2016, Metals Creek announced that the corporation had entered into an option/joint venture agreement with Trifecta. Under the terms of the agreement, Trifecta can earn up to a 75-per-cent interest in Metals Creek's Squid East and Squid West properties (collectively referred to by Trifecta to form part of Trifecta's Trident property), located along the interpreted northwest extension of the White Gold district, Yukon. The Squid properties are 100 per cent owned by Metals Creek.

To earn an initial 60-per-cent interest, Trifecta must make cash payments of $45,000 over three years ($10,000 due upon regulatory approval), issue a total of 6.5 million Trifecta shares over three years (one million due upon regulatory approval) and incur work expenditures of $2.25-million over three years. Trifecta will be the operator during the earn-in period. Once a 60-per-cent interest is earned by Trifecta, either a 60/40 joint venture will be formed or Trifecta may elect to earn an additional 15-per-cent interest to bring its total property interest to 75 per cent. The terms to increase its interest from 60 per cent to 75 per cent include payments of $50,000 and 3.5 million Trifecta shares within 60 days of the third anniversary date and incurring an additional $1-million in exploration expenditures by the fourth anniversary.

The 2017 diamond drilling campaign is focused on expanding near-surface gold and silver mineralization at the Exploits zone, downdip and along strike. Limited drilling in 2013 produced very promising results including 1.55 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 114 g/t silver over 21 metres, starting 12 metres below surface. Where observed in trenches and drill holes, the mineralized zone is oxidized and shallowly dipping.

"We are very excited to have work underway at Trident," stated Dylan Arnold-Wallinger, Trifecta's president and chief executive officer. "We are drilling relatively aggressive stepout holes in order to quickly and efficiently test the size and extent of mineralization at the Exploits zone."

Management of Metals Creek is looking forward to seeing an aggressive drilling program following up on the drill result in 2013 at the Exploits zone.

The samples are described as sheared black shale and polymictic breccia with pyrite in the form of nodules, cubes and stringers. The samples were collected during a recent visit by Company personnel.

SIC- paket bekommt damit einen immer höheren stellenwert

läuft sauber weiter, die Beteiligung könnte sich richtig gut entwickeln und Metals Creek profitiert gut dacvon. Problem wird es werden wenn die Verwässerung bei Sic zunimmt dann ist das Paket nicht mehr soviel Wert. Denke bis 0,13cad könnte es erstmal noch gehen.

Metals Creek Resources Corp. has received the first anniversary payment of $10,000 cash and 750,000 Sokoman Iron Corp. common shares for the Clarks Brook option in central Newfoundland.

To earn an initial 75-per-cent interest, Sokoman must make cash payments of $45,000 over three years, issue a total of three million Sokoman common shares over three years and incur work expenditures of $800,000 over three years. Sokoman will be the operator during the earn-in period.

Once a 75-per-cent interest is earned by Sokoman, either a 75/25 joint venture will be formed, or Sokoman may elect to earn an additional 25-per-cent interest to bring its total property interest to 100 per cent. The terms to increase its interest from 75 per cent to 100 per cent include payments of $100,000 and the issuance of an additional two million Sokoman shares within 60 days of the third anniversary date. Metals Creek would retain a 2-per-cent NSR (net smelter return royalty).........

wenn man sich die Optionen so anschaut hat Metals Creek insgesamt einen schlechten Deal gemacht.
So wie es aussieht hat sokoman das goldene ei gefunden und Metals bekommt am Ende viellecht 5-6 mio Aktien. Die letzten 25% für 2 Mio Akiten sind auch lächerlich. In drei Jahren wird sokoman sicherlich um die 100 Mio Aktien haben. Naja vielleicht komme ich hier doch noch gut raus. Metals Creek selber hat ja nichts gutes mehr in der Hand.

Metals Creek Resources Corp. is in the planning stages of a new geochemical survey technique, a spaciotemporal geochemical hydrocarbon (SGH) soil sampling program, on its Ogden gold project, Timmins, Ont.

The Ogden Gold Property is held under a joint venture in which Metals Creek owns 50%, and Newmont Corporation owns 50% with Metals Creek being the operator of the project.

The Ogden claims cover eight kilometers of strike length of the Porcupine-Destor Break ("PDB") between Newmont's Dome Mine (16.5 million ounces gold past production) and Pan American Silver's West Timmins Mine, and is contiguous to the east of Galleon Gold's West Cache Project.

A large portion of the Porcupine-Destor Break on the Ogden Gold Property is underexplored, compared to other properties in the Timmins Gold camp............

Metals Creek Resources Corp. has released the results from recent prospecting activities on its Careless Cove property in central Newfoundland. The results include 11.8 grams per tonne (g/t) gold (Au) in grab samples. The Careless Cove claim block is one of two 100% owned claim blocks comprising the Careless Cove/Yellow Fox Property.

The claims are located approximately 12 kilometers southwest of New Found Gold Corp. as illustrated on the attached map. ("New Found Gold") announced excellent results from recent drilling on their Queensway Gold Project.

Drill Hole NFGC-19-01 results included an intersection of 92.86 g/t Au over 19.0 meters (see Mexican Gold Corp., Press Release dated January 26, 2020). Gold values on adjacent properties in similar rocks are not representative of the mineralization on the property, have not been verified, and should not be relied upon............

(TSXV: MEK) (the "Corporation") is pleased to announce the completion of the Corporation's first diamond drilling program on the Dona Lake Gold Project (the "Project") in the Pickle Lake Gold Camp, Ontario. A total of 1411 meters were drilled in two shallow holes that tested both the Main Zone and B Zone and a deep hole testing for the continuation of gold mineralization below the lower most level of the mine (455 level).

All three holes were successful in intercepting the target stratigraphy.

Due to strict Covid-19 measures, all core has been moved to the Corporation's office in Thunder Bay and is currently being logged and split at a secure location. The company has raised aggregate proceeds of $3,955,197.26 by issuing 6,107,326 non flow-through units at $0.11 per unit, with each non flow-through unit consisting of one common share and one common share purchase warrant, and 21,889,276 flow-through units at $0.15 per unit, with each flow-through unit consisting of one flow-through common share and one common share purchase warrant. The warrants, in each case, are exercisable for one common share of the Company at an exercise price of $0.165 for a period 24 months from the date of issuance. Cash finders' fees of $81,126.35 were paid in connection with this financing as well as the issuance of finders' warrants in the amount of 177,818 which are each exercisable for one common share of the Company at $0.165 for a period of 24 months from the date of issuance.

Crescat Capital LLC ("Crescat") participated in the Private Placement by purchasing 9,090,910 flow-through units, which represents 7.15 % of the total issued and outstanding common shares of the Company on a non-diluted bases and 14.3% on a partially-diluted basis.

The Company did also enter into an agreement with Crescat granting Crescat an option to participate in future financings to maintain its pro rata interest in the Company, until such time as Crescat holds less than 3% of the issued and outstanding common shares of Metals Creek.......
