Vielleicht gibt es ja Mitinteressenten: Veeva,
dical software firm Veeva Systems (VEEV) hit a three-year high Wednesday after its strong quarterly report and guidance late Tuesday sparked a price-target increase from Needham.
Veeva's Q2 was expected to be relatively soft after a strong Q1, and its stock sold off in regular trade Tuesday. But the unexpected growth shows the continued strong rollout of its Vault content-management system, writes Needham analyst Scott Berg.
"The company booked three 7-figure deals, including one with a top 10 Pharma company to standardize on Vault eTMF (trial master file) globally," Berg wrote in a research note raising his price target to 43 from 38. "The faster-than-expected Vault adoption bodes well with pivot outside of Life Sciences vertical."
Berg maintained a buy rating on the stock.
IBD'S TAKE: New highs are a bullish sign to watch for, though they aren't always positive. Check out IBD's New Highs list for more.

William Blair analyst Amanda Murphy wrote in her research note that Veeva's management is still forecasting an uneven year, but it could well beat that again.
"The company experienced strong deal activity and also a disproportionate amount of renewals in the first half of the year, which management does not expect to continue in the second half of the year," Murphy wrote. "As a result, management's full-year guidance implies second-half billings growth of roughly 11% at the midpoint.
"We believe that management remains prudently conservative and would expect the company to continue delivering nice upside to its billings guidance on a quarterly basis throughout the year."
Veeva stock posted double-digit gains in early trading, then settled back for an increase of 8.7% to 40.92 on the stock market today, its highest price since December 2013. The stock is extended after finding support at the 10-week moving average.

Hallo Linkshaender,
Bin gerade sehr verwundert -Wie kommst Du darauf?

.........
Veeva Systems Inc. (VEEV - Free Report) first-quarter fiscal 2019 earnings are scheduled to release on May 24. Growing demand for cloud-based and vault applications, new product launches, industry-focused approach and international expansion are expected to drive the company’s top line. While, the results are likely to reflect growth in the core Subscription Services segment, other initiatives may also drive earnings.
Notably, Veeva Systems pulled off a positive average earnings surprise of 15.1% in the trailing four quarters. In the last reported quarter, Veeva Systems delivered adjusted earnings of 23 cents per share. The bottom line beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate by a couple of cents and improved 4.5% from the year-ago quarter’s figure. Total revenues were $184.9 million in the quarter, up 23.1% year over year. Moreover, the top line beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $180 million. Strong growth in subscription revenues segment drove the metric.
For the quarter to be reported, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for revenues is pegged at $5189.2 million, reflecting year-over-year growth of 19.8%. The same for earnings is pinned at 30 cents, showing year-over-year growth of 36.4%.
