Hallo Leute,

ich will Euch hier ein neues wikifolio vorstellen, mit einem interessanten Markt, in dem man nicht so leicht investieren kann.

Mit der Aufhebung der Sanktionen durch die Vereinbarung von Wien im Juni 2015, kann der Iran meiner Meinung nach einen sehr positiven Weg beschreiten. Von dieser Entwicklung solle dieses Portfolio profitieren. Das Portfolio soll grundsätzlich dort investieren, wo meiner Erwartung nach auch Verbesserungen oder lukrative Chancen durch die Iran-Öffnung entstehen. Das soll vorerst durch die Investition in Nachbarstaaten oder in Unternehmen, die größere Abschlüsse mit dem Iran erzielen, erreicht werden.

Im Zeitablauf kann dann auch in iranische Aktien oder Anleihen ETFs oder andere Instrumente investiert werden. Auch ein Investments in Fonds und ETFs ist möglich. Es kann grundsätzlich in alle Werte des Anlageuniversums investiert werden, Derivate sollen aber überwiegend nur zu Absicherungszwecken gehalten werden. Im wesentlichen soll in Aktien, Aktien ETFs und Anleihen ETFs und Cash investiert werden.

Da bei dem Investments auch geopolitische Gefahren bestehen, ist meine Investmententscheidung nicht nur von fundamentalen Gesichtspunkten abhängig, sondern es müssen auch geopolitische Überlegungen eine Rolle spielen. Die Positionen sollen eher langfristig gehalten werden, allerdings können kurzfristige Überlegungen durchaus eine Rolle spielen.

Ich werde auch hier über Neuigkeiten, oder größere Veränderungen informieren.

Iranian and Indian delegations in a meeting in Tehran conferred on New Delhi's offer to develop the first phase of Farzad B gas field in the Persian Gulf as well as Indian refineries' debts to Iran. Indien macht immer mehr Deals mit dem Iran, ich halte an meiner 10 % Gewichtung von Indien im wikifolio fest.

Den DAX Put reinzunehmen und etwas Cash aufzubauen, hat den Rückgang etwas abgefedert.

Im Iran nimmt erneuerbare Energie einen auch immer wichtigeren Stellenwert ein.

Iran on Thursday inaugurated a new hydroelectric power plant that will raise the country's hydropower generation capacity to around 12,000 MW.

Energy Minister Hamid Chitchian inaugurated the hydropower plant at Roodbar Dam, in Aligoudarz, in the western province of Lorestan, Tasnim News Agency reported.

He said that with the inauguration of the plant, the country's total hydropower generation capacity will reach 11,804 MW.

Highlighting the ministry's policy to diversify energy sources and reduce reliance on fossil fuels, Chitchian said good progress has been made in developing renewable energies by establishing hydropower and solar power plants.

Last month, Iran opened its largest solar plant in an area of 20 hectares near the central city of Isfahan. The plant, developed in cooperation with a Greek company, can generate 10 megawatts of electricity annually.

Executive manager of the project to develop Band Karkheh oilfield announced that OMV, the international, integrated oil and gas company based in Vienna, will begin developing the oilfield in the near future.

OMV ist bereits im wikifolio. Hier ist bereits ein schönes plus von 94 % aufgelaufen.

Ich habe heute den Templeton Froniter Markets etwas abgebaut und wieder mehr in Russland investiert. Die Spannungen um Katar sind nicht sehr gut für die Region. Den Ölpreis könnte das aber rasch Rückenwind verschaffen. Daher etwas Geld aus der Region abgezogen und wieder in ölaffine Länder investiert.

Austria said on Sunday it has allocated a credit line of one billion euros for a major steel production project in southern Iran.

The announcement was made by ]Austrian Finance Minister Hans Jorg Schelling during a visit to Tehran.

In a meeting with Iranian Economy Minister Ali Tayyebnia, Schelling said that the credit line was meant to help the expansion of relations between the two countries, IRNA reported.

Austria’s steel production investment plan in Iran involves the establishment of a plant with a capacity of 2.4 million tons per year in Gol Gohar in Iran’s southern province of Kerman.

To the same effect, Austria’s Voest Alpine has reportedly signed an agreement to team up with Iranian partners to establish a steel production plant in Gol Gohar.

Iran is preparing for a major credit line worth $13 billion from South Korea for several of its industrial projects within the next few weeks.

According to Press TV, talks on the credit line were almost complete and Iran's Economy Minister Ali Tayyebnia would soon visit Seoul to finalize the procedures.

The report added that Korea Eximbank (KEXIM) would provide the lion share of the funds at $8 billion. The rest of the funds — $5 billion — would be provided by Korea Trade Insurance Corporation.

The cash would be accordingly used for projects already approved by Tehran and Seoul. They include the renovation of Isfahan Refinery as well as the construction of Siraf condensate refineries.

A certain portion would also be allocated for producing ethane in South Pars Phase 12.

South Korea and Iran have also agreed on the construction of a hospital, the report added without specifying where and with what capacity the hospital would be built.

The report added that the allocation of the $13-billion credit line by South Korea to Iran would open the way for Japanese and European banks to follow suit.

South Korea announced in May that it had drawn up a package of loans worth $25 billion for Iran's infrastructure projects.

The announcement was made during a visit to Tehran by former South Korean president Park Geun-hye.

During her stay in Tehran, Park oversaw the signing of more than a dozen agreements between Iran and South Korea to boost cooperation in areas such as energy, power, auto industry and railway section.

Hier sieht man wie hoch das Potential des Iran-Indonesien Handel sein könnte, vom derzeitigen Niveau aus müsste sich das Handelsvolumen vervierfachen um wieder die Zahlen aus dem Jahr 2011 zu erreichen. Indonesien ist ebenfalls ein muslimisches Land, zwar nicht "ums Eck", aber doch auf den Seeweg gut für den Iran erreichbar. Ich halte daher weiterhin 7 % in einem Indonesien ETF.

Italy's Eni is preparing to sign a preliminary agreement to study Iran's Kish gas field and Darkhovin oilfield.

Finnish technology group Wartsila is to provide engineering and equipment for two baseload power plants to Iranian energy companies Baran Niroo Beshel Company and Tamin Niroo Saam Company.

Wartsila will supply the first decentralized power plants of its kind to Iran to support power generation in its transition towards more flexible and smarter technologies, powerengineeringint.com reported.

The orders are booked in the second quarter of 2017, and the sets are expected to be delivered during the third quarter of 2017.

"Iran has been experiencing shortages of electricity and Wartsila is very actively working on distributed generation power plants in the country. These latest development are a significant proof of confidence for Wartsila in the country," said Tord Johnsson, business development manager for Wartsila Energy Solutions.

"Wartsila's technology, capability to deliver efficient and flexible power solutions, as well as their reputation for quality were definitely the main reasons why we signed this agreement. In addition, using gas as fuel will have an important impact towards preserving the environment", added Semih Uysal, general manager, Tamin Niroo Saam Co.

Trade between Iran and Pakistan has increased with more cargo trains plying between the two neighboring states, said a Pakistani railway official from Baluchistan Province.

Station Master of Quetta Railway Station, Muhammad Zafar Iqbal told IRNA that right now there are seven scheduled cargo trains between Iran and Pakistan in a month.

Compared to past years, there is a big increase in the number of cargo trains operating between the two countries which also means that bilateral trade is growing rapidly, he said.

Last year, trade between Iran and Pakistan increased to more than $1 billion indicating a growing trend after the JCPOA.

Iran is preparing contracts with French Total and Royal Dutch Shell to implement petrochemical projects, Marzieh Shahdaei, the head of Iran's National Petrochemical Company (NPC) told IRNA.

She added that the parties are negotiating the final issues for the contracts.

Both Total and Shell signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Iran in the petrochemical sector in 2016.

Shahdaei said that the contract with Total will be worth $2 billion while Iran's deal with Shell is estimated at $6 billion.

Es war richtig in diesem wikifolio stark auf die Türkei zu setzen. Es hat sich abgezeichnet, dass die Kontakte zu Ankara dicker werden. Die Türkei wird weiterhin einer der Haupthandelspartner der Iraner sein. Ich halte weiterhin an meiner hohen Gewichtung der Türkei bei. 13,5 % ist die Position hier im Plus, wie schon öfter gesagt, halte ich es für möglich, dass der türkische Markt einer der besten im Jahr 2017 sein wird.

Norway’s Scatec Solar is in talks to build its first solar power plants in Iran, its chief executive told Reuters, joining a wave of foreign energy firms looking to invest in the oil major.

The Oslo-listed firm, which builds and operates solar power plants worldwide, wants to generate 120 megawatts (MW) of power in Iran, rising to 500 MW later.

Ich habe Scatec Solar ins Portfolio aufgenommen. Jetzt ist auch die Oberbank ins Irangeschäft eingestiegen.

Allerdings kann ich Oberbank nicht ins wikifolio kaufen, da es L&S nicht anbietet. Im Artikel wird erwähnt, dass die Oberbank die erste Bank ist, meines Wissens stimmt das aber nicht, da die Den Danske Bank hier schon Finanzierungen macht. Den Danske Bank ist übrigens im wikifolio.

PS. Habe bis zum Jahresende die ETF's der Haupthandelspartner des Irans anders gewichtet. Jene Länder, die ich bis zum Jahresende für aussichtsreich halte, habe ich höher gewichtet. Sollte sich die Lage in Syrien endlich beruhigen, wird die Region als ganzes ebenfalls davon profitieren.

European banks have begun a fresh wave of investment in Iran, just as Washington launches another attempt at restricting links between the US and Iran.

Over the past week, banks in Austria, Denmark and France announced investment deals with Iran worth a collective €2 billion ($2.4 billion), while in contrast the White House on September 24 announced a fresh travel ban on the citizens of Iran and seven other countries.

The wave of European financing began on September 21, when Austria's Oberbank agreed to extend a €1 billion line of credit to 14 Iranian banks.

The money will be used for infrastructure projects in Iran. On the same day, Denmark's Danske Bank signed a deal for a €500-million line of credit with ten Iranian banks. Since then, French state-owned bank BPI France has said it will also provide a €500 million credit line to French companies wanting to invest in Iran.

Iran signed an agreement with Ericsson, the leading provider of communications technology solutions, to assist in launching the Internet of Things (IoT) across the country.

The agreement — which could take the country closer to a plan to move toward smart cities and automated utilities — was signed between Ericsson and the Mobile Telecommunication Company of Iran (Hamrah Aval), the largest mobile operator in Iran — at the Iran Telecom Fair 2017 in Tehran, Press TV reported.

Ich werde Ericsson mit etwas höherer Gewichtung ins wikfiolio aufnehmen. Ericsson durchläuft auch einen Restrukturierungsprozess, das kann noch sehr interessant werden.

Mein Absicherungsput auf den DAX hat leider nur Performance gekostet, dafür waren die Schwankungen geringer. Dafür gabs bei wikifolio die Auszeichnung "Money Manager". Ich werde ihn demnächst verkaufen, die Restlaufzeit ist sehr kurz. Meine Hoffnung, dass sich die Vola erhöht ist nicht aufgegangen, das muss man leider sagen.

Trade exchanges between Iran and Turkey in the first nine months of 2017 grew by 14 percent compared to the figure for the same period last year, according to statistics released by the Turkish government. Die Türkei wird offensichtlich einer der Haupthandelspartner des Iran. Irgenwie auch logisch ist ja auch ein Nachbarland und ideologisch auch nahe beissammen. Ich werde hier weiter auf die Türkei setzen. Ohnehin einer der billigsten Märkte der Welt.

Der schweizer Autozulieferer Autoneum tritt in den Markt im Iran ein. Er hat mit dem iranischen Branchenpartner Ayegh Khodro Toos (AKT) einen Produktions- und Liefervertrag abgeschlossen. AKT wird Bestandteile an ein iranisch-französisches Joint Venture zur Autoproduktion liefern.

Diese Bestandteile umfassen Teppiche, Armaturenbretter, Bodenisolationen und Kofferraumauskleidungen, wie der Schweizer Hersteller von Lärm- und Wärmeschutzvorrichtungen für Autos am Montag mitteilte. Die Lizenzherstellung am AKT-Standort im iranischen Marshad beginnt 2019.

Abnehmer ist ein Joint Venture des iranischen Autobauers Iran Khodro und des französischen Konzerns PSA. Das Gemeinschaftsunternehmen produziert Peugeot-Modelle. Das erste Auto mit Autoneum-Bestandteilen wird ein SUV sein. Die Komponenten wurden vom Autoneum-Forschungszentrum in Winterthur entwickelt.

Der Iran gilt seit Aufhebung der Sanktionen als Wachstumsmarkt nicht nur für die Autoindustrie. Im ersten Halbjahr 2017 konnte PSA mit dem Irangeschäft einen Rückgang in China und Europa auffangen.

Ich habe Autoneum ins wikifolio aufgenommen, PSA ist schon dabei.

Entwicklung 1 Jahr: 0,22 %
Performance ytd: -1,24 %

Mit der kurzfristigen Performance bin ich nicht so zufrieden, die Absicherung über den Sommer mit dem DAX Put hat leider ein paar Prozentpunkte gekostet.

Die Region wächst weiter sehr stark, mittelfristig erwarte ich auch durch den Aufbau des Iraks und Syriens einiges an Wachstumsfantasie für die Region.

Bin gespannt wie sich die Lage im Iran weiterentwickelt, nachwievor finde ich das wikifolio sehr aussichtsreich und ich bin stark in der Region investiert. Zusätzlich habe ich noch Einzelinvestments in Unternehmen, die mit dem Iran große Geschäfte gemacht haben.

Was lief gut in 2017: Die Portfolioausrichtung passt meines Erachtens weiterhin sehr gut, Direktinvestments in den Iran sind weiterhin kaum möglich. Das wikifolio hat naturgemäß aber eine Korrelation zum Ölpreis.

Was lief schlecht 2017: Ich habe einen DAX Put über den Sommer gehalten, um die eurostoxx Werte abzusichern, bin von einer höheren Vola ausgegangen, die sich dann nicht eingestellt hat. Das hat dem wikifoli rund 4 % Performance gekostet. Hat aber auch die Vola reduziert. Das hat dazu geführt, dass ich die meiste Zeit "Guter Money Manager" als Auszeichnung von wikifolio führen darf.

Ausblick 2018: Möglicherweise bahnt sich im Iran sowas wie ein "arabischer Frühling" an, ich glaube aber eher, dass ein langsamer Übergang wahrscheinlich ist. Das Verhältnis zu Saudi Arabien könnte sich durchaus auch entspannen, wie zarte Annäherungen seitens der Saudis vermuten lassen. Nachwievor halte ich die Region für eine absolute Boomregion der Zukunft, Syrien wird man auch wieder aufbauen wollen, das sollte die ganze Region wirtschaftlich unterstützen. Sollten sich Spannungen in der Region auftun, könnte das aber skurrilerweise auch positiv auf das wikifolio auswirken, da das sicherlich den Ölpreis anhebt und das wikifolio Ölpreisaffin ist.

Bei den Länder- und Regionen ETF's/Fonds habe ich ein Rebalancing durchgeführt, sodass man hier eine ungefähre Gleichgewichtung der Anrainer und Haupthandelspartner im wikifolio hat.

Minister of Energy Reza Ardakanian in a meeting with the Norwegian Ambassador to Iran Lars Nordrum, disclosed that cooperation between Iran and Norway in the field of renewable energies will expand.

Recalling that Iran-Norway ties date back to 100 years, he added the two countries have great potentials and can cooperate in the fields of water, wastewater and renewable energies, Mehr News Agency reported.

Credit lines between the two countries have not materialized, he said, adding, "Launching credit lines between the two countries can strengthen cooperation in the field of renewable energies, notably solar energy."

In the Sixth Five-Year Development Plan, 5,000-MW renewable energies will be added to the current production capacity of the country, he contended.

The minister reiterated that 450-MW solar power plant has presently been installed in the country and the construction of other 700-MW solar power plants is underway in the country.

Nordrum expressed satisfaction with the broadening of Iran-Norway cooperation and said, "Once the credit line is launched between the two countries, cooperation and interaction can be continued in various fields such as construction of wind farms and solar power plants."

Turning to the achievements of Export Credit Bank of Norway, the ambassador added, "Plans have been made to facilitate banking transactions between the two countries."

Norwegian firms which are working in the field of renewable energies seek to resume operations in Iran's lucrative market, the ambassador concluded.
