es sind die Chinks, die die Aktien für ein paar Cent erworben haben. Für die sind 2,50 $ immer noch ein Riesengewinn.
Un so wirds mit dem Abverkauf weitergehen, das sog. management zieht Knete, die Gründer verkaufen.
Das Geschäftmodell is fürn Arsch.

Nach meiner Auffassung geht der Kurs nach unten, weil die Insider die Geschäftszahlen schon kennen und es wieder einmal eine Enttäuschung gibt.

Aber das war klar, weil es danach mit einem neuen Namen besser laufen soll. Ich also davon aus, dass in dieses Quartal der gesamte Mist abgeladen wird und wir dann endgültig den Tiefststand sehen.

Ich war zuversichtlich und bin es heute immer noch.

Wir haben noch gute Zeiten vor uns.

aber die meisten chinawerte die ich kenne gehen auf tauchstation -

der abverkauf wird erst richtig vor oder dann bei den zahlen beginnen - das tempo nach unten wird sich zudem verschärfen -

meine 1,50 usd zum 30.04 möchte ich hiermit auf 90 cent korrigieren.

zu den zahlen dann im mai bei 30 oder 40 cent -

unter garantie -

und als penny wird sich ein china nicht mehr erholen, ausser einem reserve split, ich nehme mal an realistich 10:1 damit man wieder einen kurs von 1 bis 2 usd erreichen wird.

da muss ich dir massiv wiedersprechen, denn ich denke bei deiner letzten aussage über china hast du bewiesen das du von der börse nix verstehst.
china könnte nie ein pennystock werden weil dort substanz vorhanden ist.
ich hab schon 20 jahre erfahrung mit der börse und weiss das diese investsment langfristig sind 5-10Jahre und bis dort hin könnte china die microsoft asiens sein.

ihre strategie wird sie erst später auszahlen.
bei diesen preisen kann nur empfehlen immer wieder nachzukaufen. und dies sollte in fundament sein bis in 10 jahren reich zu werden. zumindest ich.

die Produkte der dazugekauften firmen in asien zu verkaufen,ja ihr habt richtig gelesen dort wo die wirtschaft boomt.
es wird noch dauern bis die firmen erfolgreich integriert werden. und mir ist auch klar das das management gezwungen ist eine weile lang auf zeit zu spielen.
aber wenn sie mal richtig integriert sind dann wird die firma, eines der größten asiens.
die abverkäufe kommen, weil die mittelfristige perspektive nicht gut ist, da geb ich euch recht,
aber langfristig....
microsoft hat auch mal klein angefangen.

sie wollen sich jetzt auch auf die software sparte fokusieren, die internetsparte haben sie ja jetzt total abgespaltet.

Ob nun Shit oder nicht, eine gute Nachricht reicht. Und dann kann es ganz schnell gehen. Blätter mal 3 Jahre zurück, da standen wir genau da, wo wir heute stehen. Und dann hat sich das Ding binnen weniger Wochen verfünffacht.

Faktor 3 würde mir diesmal reichen. Ich warte ab. Und ich glaube, das ist auch gut so.

Leute die Aktie wird niemals 50 cent kosten, sieht geht jetzt aufs allzeit tief zu, das lag bei 2 Dollar, aber dann wird sie sich stabilisieren und auch erholen.

Wenn irgendmal die ganzen Konsolidierungskosten nicht mehr so hoch sind, dann wird das ding tolle gewinne schreiben, ich sag nur gewinn marge = 60%
zum Vergleich cmgi = 13%, und die sind mittlerweile auch in der Softwarebranche!

demnach hat die firma jetzt ein kgv von 2,3

die aktie hat im letzten halbjahr 40% zugelegt, und zahlt wie jedes jahr 5% Dividende.

an der Börse sollte man nie glauben, ich habe in der Beziehung genug Lehrgeld bezahlt.

Verkauf China, kauf dir CMGI - die machen seit 2 Q Gewinn sind stark in China vertreten, haben wichtige Kunden (HP z. B.), wenn du halbwegs sicher sein willst und einen Turnaround mit Aussicht suchst. Sind auch noch billig zu haben.

Bei chinadotcom kommt zur Zeit aber auch wirklich alles zusammen.

1)Offensichtlich interne Probleme die neue Struktur vernünftig umzusetezn.

2)Konflikt Chinas mit Japan.chinadotcom hat mE Kunden und Kooperationen in Japan.Das wird darunter erheblich leiden.

3)Der Fokus liegt nun in der globalen Softwarebranche und hier läuft das Geschäft nicht (siehe Umsatz und Gewinnwarnung Siebel,Ariba etc.Hier möchte ich die Zahlen chinas nach dem Managementwechsel Pivotal lieber gar nicht sehen)
4)Insgesamt Verlangsamung des Wirtschaftswachstum Chinas.
5)Aktuelle Börsenschwäche

Alles was schief(bzw alle Gefahren die auftreten konnten) gehen konnte, ist schief gegangen (alle Gefahren sind eingetreten)

Wenn du 5 Chancen hast und dem 5 Risikopunkte gegenüberstehen, ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit sehr gering das es 5:0 ausgeht.
Das war jedenfalls immer meine Meinung.
Bei chinadotcom (sorry China Corp) scheint es aber passiert zu sein.
Damit konnte man nicht rechnen.

Erst wird versucht, die in sauberem Abwärtstrend befindliche Chinadotcom hochzujubeln. Dann wird bei Einkaufskursen geschimpft und gejammert.

Also bei aller Bescheidenheit möchte ich zu CIJA mal folgendes loslassen :

Der seit Mitte 2003 anhaltend gräßlich verprügelte Hype hat seine alten Tiefs erreicht und scheint auf diesem Niveau seit dem 18.04.05 wieder stetig nach oben zu drehen. Auch Chartsignale und Indikatoren können J E T Z T "grünlich" eingestuft werden.

Beachtet auch die vor dem Niedergang schon einmal hingelegte Performens von +192% ( 11.06. - 14.07.03 ) / +418% ( 12.03. - 14.07.03 ) !!
Das Unternehmen ist neu ausgerichtet. Ich erwarte auch die Ankündigung eines Aktienrückkaufprogramms ( letzteres ist natürlich nur meine ganz private Spekulation ! ). Der Titel hat sich über Jahre und aktuell wieder bei 1,80 ( mal in EUR ) als zuverlässig abgesichert gezeigt, so dass hier eine Riesenchance einem vergleichsweise lächerlichen Risiko gegenüber steht.

Chinadotcom ( die in Kürze mit neuem Namen auftreten werden ) ist ein Big-Player mit MRD-Kapitalisierung und also überhaupt nicht vergleichbar mit etwa irgendwelchen Startups, IT-Buden oder Salbenhütten.

Zur Zeit sehe ich einen wunderschönen Abwärtstrend. Schafft es CDC Corporation bis an die obere Begrenzung des Abwärtstrendkanals mit anschliessendem Ausbruch oder geht es dann wieder an die untere Begrenzung des Kanals?!

Ein Ausbruch aus dem Abwärtstrendkanal wäre ein klares Kaufsignal!

Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit, dass es in den nächsten Tagen auch direkt wieder an die untere Begrenzung geht.

Die Software-Branche in China ist in den letzten Jahren sehr schnell gewachsen und die Entwicklungsbedingungen haben sich ständig verbessert. Der Umsatz der Branche hat sich enorm gesteigert und betrug im vergangenen Jahr 230 Milliarden Yuan RMB.

Wie ein Sprecher des chinesischen Ministeriums für Informationsindustrie mitteilte, habe die chinesische Regierung der Entwicklung der Software-Branche stets Priorität eingeräumt. In den vergangenen fünf Jahren investierte die Regierung mehrere Milliarden Yuan RMB in die Branche, wodurch sie die rascheste Entwicklung mit dem größten Potenzial der gesamten chinesischen Informationsbranche verzeichnen kann. Derzeit existieren landesweit elf Software-Stützpunkte, in denen sich 172 Schlüssel-Unternehmen der Branche angesiedelt haben. Ohoooo. Die Gemeinde der 14 Chinadotcom (CDC) Aktinäre wird rührig. Zur Zeit wurden gerade rd. 180.000 Aktien zu einem Kurs von vielleicht durchschnittlich 2,80 Dollar gehandelt. Da wurden also heute gewaltige 504000 Dollar umgesetzt. Da hat die neue Seite ja ganz toll etwas bewirkt.

Also. Gestern hatten wir knapp 1 Mio gehandelter Aktien. Es waren also einig kleine Käufe am Markt. Nicht zu vergleichen mit den Umsätz von vor rd. 1 Jahr mit rd. 10 Mio Aktien im Durchschnitt und rd. 30 Mio als Spitzenwert.

Wir sind noch eine kleine Gemeinde und wir hoffen, mehr aber auch nicht, dass mehr daraus wird. Die Fakten macht das Unternehmen und zumindest die Umsatzseite stimmt mich zuversichtlich. Wenn der Trend zum Wachstum anhält und mehrere Fonds in unseren Wert gehen, haben wir bald unsere Höchstkurse wieder. Das kann dann wieder schnell gehen.

Bis dahin heißt es durchhalten und Zweckoptmist sein. Die Kursbewegungen mit Umsätzen unter 5 Mio. gehandelter Aktien sind Zufallsbewegungen und können als erfreuliches Ereignis begrüßt, aber nicht gefeiert werden. Wenn gute Nachrichten kommen und es aufwärts geht, dann rappelt es richtig. Ihr werdet es sehen, so sich unser Wuschdenken erfüllt.

CDC Corp. Swings to First-Quarter Loss As Acquisitions Drive Expenses Higher


NEW YORK (AP) -- CDC Corp., a Hong Kong-based provider of information technology outsourcing and consulting services, on Thursday reported a first-quarter loss, reversing a year-ago profit, as costs from integrating new businesses outstripped revenue growth.

CDC, formerly an Internet portal known as chinadotcom, reported a loss of $3.7 million, or 3.4 cents per basic share, compared with $4.3 million, or 4.2 cents per basic share, in the year-ago quarter. Excluding amortization of purchased intangibles and other items, the company would have posted net income of $1.2 million, or 1 cent per share, in the latest quarter.

Revenue surged 58 percent to $56.2 million from $35.5 million a year ago.

Operating expenses more than doubled to $33.8 million. CDC attributed the increase in expenses to consolidating the results of Go2joy, Ross Systems and Pivotal, businesses which the company acquired last year.

CDC said its cash holdings at the end of the quarter, excluding debt, stood at $226 million at the end of the quarter, down from $230.2 million a year ago.

CDC class A shares fell 14 cents, or 4.8 percent, to $2.75 in premarket trading.

das war wirklich ein Hit. Am NASDAQ ging das ding sogar über 30% hoch. Dort wird nun auch ein Kursziel von US$7.94 genannt. Das ist die einzige Meldung, die ich hierzu gefunden habe (http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/050531/315323.html?.v=1). So richtig war das nicht zu erwarten. War hoffentlich kein Strohfeuer.
