klingt ja interessant.
Ich hatte mir Anfang des Jahres mal ein paar PBSC ins Depot gelegt und mich nicht weiter drum gekümmert. Jetzt stellte ich fest, das der Kurs nicht mehr gestellt wurde und als ich in meinem Depot nachsah, waren die PBSC in PKI Aktien getauscht.
Aber so wie ich deinen Thread les und auch paar Analystenurteile mir anschau, macht die Aktie in Zukunft bestimmt richtig Spaß.
Ich überlege sogar noch paar nachzukaufen. Charttechnisch sieht das ganze ja auch nicht übel aus.

KANATA, Ontario, Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- GSI Lumonics Inc. (Nasdaq: GSLI and Toronto: LSI) today announced it has completed the sale of 1,398,166 shares of common stock of PerkinElmer, Inc. PKI. The PerkinElmer shares resulted from the conversion of GSI Lumonics` common stock holdings in Packard BioScience Company, which was acquired by PerkinElmer on November 13, 2001. GSI Lumonics initially received 4,495,711 shares of common stock of Packard BioScience Company as partial consideration for the sale of its Life Sciences business to Packard BioScience Company in year 2000.
The PerkinElmer shares were sold for net proceeds of approximately $38.5 million, at the equivalent price per share of PerkinElmer stock of $27.51, net of all transaction costs. When compared to the original book value of the shares, this transaction creates a non-operating loss of $0.08 per share after tax.

BOSTON, Jan 24 (Reuters) - PerkinElmer Inc. (PKI),a maker of scientific instruments, on reported a fourth quarter loss after charges from selling three businesses and a write-off tied to an acquisition.
The Boston-based company posted a net loss of $55.2 million, or 49 cents per share, compared with a profit of $29.5 million or 28 cents per share, in the prior year.
The loss included $76.4 million of pretax charges, including $70.5 million from the write-off of in-process research and development from the acquisition of Packard Bioscience and some telecommunications inventory.
On a proforma basis that excludes the amortization of goodwill and charges, fourth quarter net income from continuing operations rose to $34.5 million or 30 cents a share, versus $32.2 million, or 31 cents per share, in the year ago quarter. The number of shares outstanding rose in the 2001 quarter from the prior year.
Thomson Financial/First Call published analysts earnings per share estimates ranging from 29 to 31 cents with a mean estimate of 30 cents.
Sales fell 3.5 percent to $361.2 million from $374.5 million.
PerkinElmer shares rose 12 cents to $32.15 in afternoon trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
Since the Nov. 13 closing of the acquisition of Packard BioScience, PerkinElmer shares have risen 10.4 percent. Over that same period, the S&P 500 index fell about half a percentage point. REUTERS

Es gibt zwei positive Dinge zu vermelden:
1. http://news.cnet.com/investor/news/newsitem/0-9900-1028-8739… - da ist eine Überraschung sicher noch drin.
2. Der Kurs ist auf USD 26,72 gestiegen und hat damit den Widerstand bei 25,50-26,50 erflgreich getestet. Sollte der Kurs diesen Widerstand deutlich unterschreiten, sind Kurse bis USD 22 leider möglich. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit dafür ist aber meiner Meinung nach nur ca. 25%.
