Bevor ich jetzt "Beiss` nicht gleich in jeden Apfel" bringe, greife ich doch lieber auf Bewährtes zurück und grabe mal wieder einen Song aus, der schon ein- oder zweimal in den Tiefen dieses Threads verborgen liegt.

soweit wie Du bin ich noch lange nicht obwohl ich mich seit vielen vielen Jahren in der Apple-Welt bewege.
Mein erster Apple-Rechner war die sogenannte Pizzaschachtel mit 40MB - nein, nicht Arbeitsspeicher sondern Festplatte
War aber auch schon schick:



Der Rechner ist das unter dem Monitor ... für alles zusammen zahlte ich seinerzeit 8.000DM :schüttel:

Über das i-book, zunächst die Apple-wireless-Lösung
für Standort-unabhängiges Internet- und Musik-Vergnügen
( = Musik vom Computer über das drahtlose Netzwerk
mit der Stereoanlage abspielen)....Danach wird der Trojaner-
und Virengefährdete, umständlich zu handhabende PC in
einen sauberen flotten G5 eingetauscht....

Und dann ist die NEUE “Beziehung” perfekt abgestimmt
und die Zukunft hat eine Chance....

...kein wunder, dass der spiegel da eine ausnahme gemacht hat bei dem status, den sowohl Joy Division als auch New Order in der „hall of fame der musiklegenden“ hat, wie es auch schon treffend von der amazon redaktion angemerkt wurde... :
New Order sind ein Heiligtum und kaum angreifbar. Das macht es nicht leicht, sich mit einer Platte von einer unter Artenschutz stehenden Band auseinander zu setzen. Insbesondere, wenn sich Newcomer wie Interpol, Killers, The Faint und ein paar Dutzend mehr auf diese Indie-Ikone berufen. Zum Glück bietet einem Waiting For The Sirens’ Call wenig Anlass zum Meckern, denn die Konsensband aus Manchester hat ein Konsensalbum gemacht.
hier noch mein persönliches lieblingslied des neuen New Order albums – ein unwiderstehlicher ohrwurm mit einem coolen dancehall-offbeat unterlegt – dazu als sahnehäubchen die lässigen gitarrenlicks...
...also ohne scheiß – diese nummer hätte ich definitiv als erste single ausgekoppelt und nicht die im vergleich dazu konventionell, banalen „Krafty“ oder „Jetstream“, die als singles auf den markt gekommen sind...
dieser song hat definitiv das potential zu einem der größten hits der band überhaupt zu werden...

Iguana, New Order und ihr „Waiting For The Sirens’ Call“ war sogar dem Spiegel, der sich ja sonst recht wenig mit populärer Musik beschäftigt, einen ausführlichen Bericht wert. Ist aber schon länger her. Der Autor muss wohl in jungen Jahren auch Fan von „Joy Division“ gewesen sein …

Wurde heute beim Thema „Haare“ in Rebels Golf wieder an eine Gruppe erinnert, die wegen ihrer oft etwas anzüglichen Texte auch einen gewissen Kultstatus erreicht hat. Chevy Ford wird als eine Mischung aus Zappa und Cheech y Chong bezeichnet - für mich sind sie eher eine Mischung aus den Fugs (aber unpolitisch) und den frühen Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show.

Leider konnte ich keine Texte finden. Weil aber auch die Musik gut ist (von Country bis Rock) und weil die meisten Songs komplett heruntergeladen werden können, hier ein paar ihrer Rock-Nummern

Die ungewöhnlichen sexuellen Bekenntnisse einer jungen Schweizerin
Aus Schnappi (1) machte das Internet bereits einen Verkaufshit. Und nun folgt Sweety. Aus Hass auf dieses unerträgliche Jamba-Geschöpf schrieb der Hamburger Rapper Bo Flower nämlich den Song Tötet Sw**ty (2), veröffentlichte ihn ausschließlich im Internet, und wer wollte, konnte das Lied ganz legal kostenlos herunterladen. Da die Resonanz so groß war und ist, erscheint der Song nun am 25. Juli auch auf CD. Und ein Erfolg scheint programmiert.

Erfolgreich - zumindest in der Apple-Gemeinde - ist auch das Lied Ich lieb meinen Mac http://www.fire.ch/ilovemymac.html, das die Schweizerin Antonia Lutz nach dem US-Vorbild I Love My Mac (4) von Daphne Kalfon jetzt auf ihrer Homepage veröffentlicht hat. Ein Lied, das eindrucksvoll und gleichzeitig höchst sensibel die enge Beziehung einer jungen Frau zu ihrem Apfel-Computer beschreibt. In Worten und Versen, die ihresgleichen suchen, aber leider nicht finden.

Was für ein Glücksgefühl die Frau beim Anschluss eines zusätzlichen Gerätes hat, schildert sie bereits in der ersten Strophe:

Immer wenn ich ein Gerät anschliessen will/wird es auch sogleich erkannt/ich muss nicht hoffen und beten zum heiligen Bill/ich schliess es einfach an/und ich komme viel schneller voran/und bin so happy wie ich nur kann.

Ja, das ist wahre große Poesie. Und dazu passt kongenial dichterisch umgesetzt der Refrain:

ich lieb meinen Mac/weil er so zuverlässig ist,/so praktisch und so super schön/oh er ist einfach wunderbar.

Ein Refrain, der sich im Verlauf des Liedes gleichsam sexuell verdichtet, bis er gegen Schluss ekstatisch zu implodieren scheint:

ich lieb meinen Mac (Mac, Mac, Mac)/weil er so zuverlässig ist/so praktisch und so super schön (einfach genial!)/oh er ist einfach wunderbar (tausend Dank auch, Jobs und Woz!)

Das nennt man wohl pure Ekstase. Kein Wunder! Wie man im Lied erfährt, ist der Mac eben nicht nur ein Computer, sondern ein Gerät, das die Vereinsamung und Vereinzelung des modernen Menschen ein Stück weit aufhebt, dabei sogar ganz neue familiäre Beziehungen schafft und dies alles auf Hard- und Software-Ebene. Oder, um es noch einmal mit dem Worten von Antonia Lutz zu sagen:

Meine Software führt mich nicht an der Nase herum/doch wenn ich einmal Hilfe brauch/schau ich mich in Newsgroups, Messageboards und Foren um/so viele Mac-Fans sind bereit mir zu helfen/jederzeit in familiärer Verbundenheit.
