Key Points on PureTech is the fact that they dont partner with any group and have spent considerable time reviewing our technology and putting together a group from their extensive network of internal champions at varios biotech companies specialising in tissue engineering, orthopedics.

This is a fast way for PSD to get to its first revenues by seeking development/licensing partners for non-core applications.

We are getting great attendance and feedback at meetings in New York and I have no doubt that this will stand us in good stead as momentum gathers in the US.

You may have read about Biogen and Elan, which were the reasons for the fall in the Biotech index, this is not a negative for us as, the problem was not the drug working to combat Multiple Sclorisis but the high side effects (including death). Big pharma is trying to get better drug delivery to maximise dose and minimise side effects, currently pharma takes a sledgehammer to crack a nut approach and most drug ends up causing side effects.

So, this is not bad news for us, where we specialise in drug delivery, with the aim of allowing pharma to minimise side effects. This is one of the reasons for the growth in drug delievry markets.

ich sehe das ja grundsätzlich sehr ähnlich wie du, ich finde auch das PSD eines der seriösesten nano kleinunternehmen ist die es gibt. trotzdem muß man sagen sind 220 mille aktien schon ne menge holz. wenn ich mir da meinen lieblingsnanowert "MFIC" anschaue, dann sehe ich 10 mille shares und auch genug fantasie mit deren technologie. nur das die jetzt schon schwarze zahlen schreiben....

falls es euch nicht aufgefallen sein sollte, das listing an der nasdaq ist ohne neue aktien auf den markt zu schmeißen über die bühne gegangen. das waren optionen der unternehmensführung die sowieso irgendwann auf den markt gekommen wären. das forschung geld kostet, darin besteht kein zweifel. die vereinbarung mit einen der top five der pharmakonzerne beinhaltet das sie die kosten für ihre test selber übernehmen. wer macht das schon, wen er von der technologie nicht überzeugt ist.
was die glaubwürdigkeit angeht, haben wir bis jetzt noch keinen anlaß zum klagen gehabt.wen man sich da so andere unternehmenanschaut!!!!

ein bissl Risiko ist natürlich immer dabei. Lässt sich leider nicht vermeiden. Aber bisher hat alles Hand und Fuss gehabt was das Management so angepackt hat. Die bisherigen Ergebnisse der Tests sehen ja auch durchweg positiv aus auch wenn das natürlich in diesem Teststadium noch keine Garantie ist. Die Technologie in form der geschützten Patente überzeugt mich ebenso. Und richtig kurzfristig ist das wohl für den Kurs nicht förderlich wenn viele neue Aktien ausgegeben werden. Aber ich bin überzeugt davon das die Chancen des Unternehmens auf mittel- bis langfristige Sicht gewaltig sind. Ich bin ebenso wie du ein Fan dieses Unternehmens und der Technologie.

ja könnte, muß aber nicht. genauso kann er vielleicht weiter steigen wegen teureren phase 2 und 3 studien usw. usw. man weiß es nicht. fakt ist das PSD aktien druckt wie andere semmeln verkaufen. ich persönlich mag das halt nicht. trotzdem bin ich ein fan vom unternehmen und von der technologie.

es ist davon auszugehen das durch das Nasdaq-Listing neue Investoren angesprochen werden, desweiteren gehe ich davon aus das durch Meilensteinzahlungen aus verschiedenen Kooperationen wie bspw. heute erst wieder eine bekanntgegeben wurde frisches Kapital hinzukommt und auch der Umsatz wohl nicht auf dem jetzigen Niveau stagniert. Auch ist der cash-burn das letzte halbe Jahr deshalb ausserordentlich hoch, da die beträchtlichen Ausgaben für die komplette Aquisition von psiMedica und das Nasdaq-Listing angefallen sind. Das heißt die cash-burn Rate sollte sich im nächsten halben Jahr wohl wieder verringern lassen.

ich weiß nicht genau wo du geschaut hast, aber bei mir reicht der derzeitige cashstand von PSD nicht für 3 jahre.

die haben 22 mille cash und hatten grad 7 mille cash burn im letzten halben jahr. das würde auf ca. 1,5 jahre hinauskommen, nicht auf 3 jahre. PSD ist halt leider ein klassischer "dilution" wert bis endlich mal umsätze eintrudeln. es sollte bitte keinen wundern warum die aktie in den letzten monaten gefallen ist. wer es nicht versteht der soll doch mal kurz darauf schauen wieviele neue aktien es gibt.......

pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with US based PureTech Development LLC
(“Puretech” to investigate and evaluate out-licensing opportunities for BioSiliconTM with an
emphasis on tissue engineering, wound management and orthopedics.
Through a range of collaborative partnerships and internal R&D over the last four years, pSivida
has developed the BioSiliconTM (nano-structured porous elemental silicon) technology platform in
non-core areas such as tissue engineering, wound management and orthopedics to a point where
it is in a position and in line with the Company’s broader commercialization strategy, to seek
suitable partners in these specialist areas of healthcare.
pSivida has commissioned PureTech to explore with suitable partners, arrangements for evaluating

As a new and unique biomaterial BioSiliconTM exhibits many properties that make it an ideal
material in which to develop products in these growing areas of healthcare:
· biocompatible, biodegradable semi conductor
· abundant, low cost material
