Just one person`s point of view...
Many different ways of seeing the PR from Thursday after the close have been discussed since its arrival. The range of opinions is seemingly endless. The PR stated very clearly & simply that CMKM Diamonds has one pipe that contains diamonds. If any of you have not seen this pr for what it is, that is your choice. My opinion is...
At a MINIMUM, CMKM Diamonds has told us this stock is going to be gone from these levels soon. Tomorrow? Who knows! Next Week? Who knows! But they have thoroughly warned us.
Based on ONLY THE FACTS they have given us SO FAR, we have AT LEAST one pipe that is diamond-ferous. Even though we don`t know its true value or the outstanding share structure. We KNOW these things... One DeBeers pipe has been valued by very noted people in the industry to be valued between 40-80 BILLION dollars. Even after dispensing all the rumors about our pipes` size being `massive` compared to the DeBeers pipe one can assume, to pick a MINIMUM, our pipe to have a minimum value of 10 billion. Now, dispense with the rumors that CMKM Diamonds MIGHT own some of our partners and assume the value of our portion of the pipe to be 2.5 billion (1/4). Finally, dispense with the rumors of our outstanding being under 10 billion shares, assume the worst, 500 billion. At the most simplest of levels, CMKM Diamonds has a value of .005 per share.
FOLKS THAT IS OVER 700% from where we closed at on Thursday.
This pps ignores an endless arsenal of additional information that CMKM Diamonds could release. For anyone to think for a second that this stock will stay under .005 for any length of time is dreaming in my opinion, and, I might add, from watching trading, it appears some market maker firms are doing just that, dreaming. They will have to let this go, and my opinion is SOON.
I will not bother to change the figures for what I consider to be more realistic possibilities for the value of this company, I`m sure many of you will do that yourselves. But throw in any or all of these variations and you will see what I am thinking...
The value of the pipe if only EQUAL to the DeBeers pipe is off by a factor of 4.
The value of the pipe if higher than the DeBeers pipe is off by a factor of? who knows... (but greater than 4)
The use of 500 billion for the outstanding could be off by as much as a factor of 50, that`s FIFTY!
The fact that I am basing my opinion on the facts we KNOW, IGNORES any additional pipes, additional minerals, additional interests in other companies, standard accounting ratios, the possibility of a short (possibly massive), the list is endless...
My true opinion is obvious, this stock is so far gone, and soon, I can`t even bring myself to type the value I hope to get out of my holdings. I scratch my head what seems like every minute lately wondering how I could be wrong, and although there are ways, they are ways that seem increasingly minuscule. I check my account often to see that I really have my tickets to the show locked away, mainly because I believe those tickets will be quite valuable and I want to be sure to be around for the show, it will be a great one!
Sterling, I have enjoyed reading your posts and you are the MASTER of the thesis, hopefully you don`t mind me throwing my two cents into the mix.
