Letzter Stand der noch offenstehenden Convertibles lag am 25. Oktober bei 6.4M.
Wenn wir von einem Durschnittsverkaufskurs von $0.40 ausgehen, dann wäre die Verwässerung mit 16M Aktien abgeschlossen.
Vom 26. Oktober bis zum 29. Oktober haben wir 36M Aktien gehandelt.
Wenn wir davon ausgehen, dass jede vierte Aktie davon ein Convertible war, dann kämen wir auf 9M umgewandelter Convertibles. Das heißt es sind noch ungefähr 7M Converibles offen.
Nachwievor bin ich der Meinung, dass wir $1 bei PEIX im Monat November sehen werden!
Man schaue sich nur mal den Wert BIOF an der nach den fantastischen PEIX Quartalszahlen sehr stark zulegen konnte, weil es nicht mit Convertibles zu kämpfen hat.
PEIX ist der fundamental stärkere Wert , da das Unternehmen profitabel im Gegensatz zu BIOF arbeitet!


Senior Convertible Notes Update

The aggregate unpaid principal balance of the notes as of October 25, 2011, has been reduced to $6.4 million from $8.4 million at October 3, 2011, the last time the company provided an update. As previously announced, the company elected to make its November 1, 2011 installment payment in cash. As a result of additional voluntary conversions through October 25, 2011, the November payment is currently expected to be $0.6 million. To date, a total of $27.4 million in principal has been converted into 40.3 million common shares, at an average conversion price of $0.68 per share. As of October 25, 2011, the company had approximately 56.6 million common shares outstanding.

Pacific Ethanol, Inc. Provides Update on Its Senior Convertible Notes

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Nov 2, 2011 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- Pacific Ethanol, Inc. (Nasdaq:PEIX), the leading marketer and producer of low-carbon renewable fuels in the Western United States, provided an update on its senior convertible notes.

The aggregate unpaid principal balance of the notes, originally $35.0 million as of October 6, 2010, has declined to $820,000 as of November 1, 2011. The principal balance was $8.4 million as of October 3, 2011, the date of the Company's last update. To date, a total of $33.0 million in principal has been converted into 58.4 million common shares, at an average conversion price of $0.56 per share.

"We are pleased to report that we have retired nearly all the convertible debt six months ahead of schedule," said the company's president and CEO, Neil Koehler, "The proceeds raised under these notes allowed us to secure our ownership interest in the Pacific Ethanol plants and significantly improve our cash position. As previously announced, Pacific Ethanol elected to make its November 1, 2011 installment payment in cash. As a result of voluntary conversions by certain note holders, the November payment was reduced to less than $10,000. In addition, on November 1, 2011, Pacific Ethanol elected to pay its December 1, 2011 installment, also in an amount less than $10,000, in cash. Further, the company intends to pay any remaining amounts, subject to voluntary conversions by the note holders, in cash. As of November 1, 2011, Pacific Ethanol had approximately 75.6 million common shares outstanding.

Ich überlegte auch schon zu verkaufen aber bei dieser Aktie dachte ich mir nein denn Stress tu ich mir nicht an....und werde evtl zukaufen wenn's mal runter geht.

Ein Freund von mir hat bei OXGN seinen Einstiegskurs vor den Falcon Daten erhöht. Die Falcon Daten kamen unverhofft früh und zwar nachbörslich.
Da nützt auch kein Stopp-Loss. Denn die Aktie hat dann mal 40% tiefer am nächsten Tag eröffnet.

Nov. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Ethanol prices are breaking records in the U.S. as demand from Brazil to the Netherlands for corn- based biofuel sends exports to an all-time high.

Prices rose to $2.79 a gallon on Nov. 3, the highest ever for the month, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. Exports climbed to an average 62,750 barrels a day in the first eight months of the year from 26,000 in 2010, and reached an unprecedented 98,000 in July, according to the U.S. Energy Department.

Futures have climbed 11 percent this year on the Chicago Board of Trade because of shortfalls in Brazil and Europe as well as increased U.S. demand. Oil gained 6.7 percent and gasoline 3.1 percent on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Production has increased 3 percent from a year earlier, while output in Brazil, once the largest exporter, has dropped 17 percent as the harvest of sugarcane used to make the fuel fell.

"The world is looking for ethanol and right now the U.S. is going to be the first spot because we have product and it's lower cost than anybody else," Bob Dinneen, president of the Washington-based Renewable Fuels Association, said in a telephone interview on Oct. 28.

Prices increased 20 percent the past year as appetite for biofuels grew and an expiring tax credit boosted domestic demand.

Canada has imported the most U.S. ethanol this year, about 18,000 barrels a day, followed by Brazil, with 15,000, according to the Energy Department. The United Arab Emirates, the fourth biggest member of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, imported 10,000 barrels a day in July.

Brazilian Production

Mills in Brazil have increased sugar production at the expense of ethanol, giving the U.S. more market share, according to Alejandro Zamorano Cadavid, an industry analyst at Bloomberg New Energy Finance in New York.

Brazil harvested 459.6 million metric tons of sugarcane in the 2011-12 season, down from 501.2 million tons in 2010-11, through Nov. 1, Unica, an industry group, estimated in a Nov. 10 report. The government has reduced the amount of the biofuel that must be blended with gasoline to 20 percent from 25 percent.

The Brazilian real's 5 percent appreciation against the dollar also made exports less competitive. Ethanol in Brazil costs about $3.02 a gallon, 21 percent more than the $2.50 from a U.S. producer, including shipping costs, according to Bloomberg New Energy Finance.

Distillers in the U.S. have been shipping the fuel to South America via the Gulf of Mexico and "space on this route is seen becoming tight" over the next two months, Ratzeburg, Germany- based researcher F.O. Licht said in a report today.

European Costs

The U.S. is benefitting from higher costs and production shortfalls in Europe, where output is about 165 million gallons short of the 2.45 billion gallons drivers are mandated to use this year, according to Bloomberg New Energy Finance. Ethanol in New York Harbor is $2.96 a gallon compared with $3.21 in Rotterdam, data compiled by Bloomberg show.

Even with the lower U.S. prices, the industry remains profitable. On a spot basis, an average ethanol mill in Iowa is making 31 cents a gallon, while a plant in Illinois gets 37 cents, the most since Jan. 6, 2010, according to Ag TraderTalk, a Clive, Iowa-based online grains information service.

"Margins are outstanding," said Julie Ward, assistant vice president at R.J. O'Brien & Associates, a brokerage in Des Moines, Iowa. "Exports are certainly part of it."

Prices of corn, the primary ingredient in the U.S., have risen 1.1 percent this year to $6.36 a bushel in Chicago, as of today, trailing ethanol's gains.

Tax Credit

The 45-cent-a-gallon tax credit for blending the biofuel with gasoline helped profits. That's scheduled to expire at the end of December. Last year, industry groups received a one-year extension. This year, producers say it's not needed because the government requires ethanol be blended with gasoline, Dinneen of the Renewable Fuels Association said. Refiners must use 12.6 billion gallons of ethanol this year and 15 billion by 2015.

Production of conventional gasoline blended with ethanol, a proxy for blending beyond the government requirement, rose to 5.05 million gallons a day in the week ended Nov. 4, 2.1 percent higher than a year earlier, according to Energy Department data.

There are 209 ethanol distilleries in the U.S., and production of the fuel averaged 911,000 barrels a day, or 14 billion gallons on an annualized basis, in the week ended Nov. 4, the Energy Department said in a report on Nov. 9.

Output exceeds government consumption requirements and exports have helped soak up excess supply, said Cadavid.

Dinneen said he expects the industry to export as much as 800 million gallons of the biofuel this year, double last year's record.

Ich hoffe immer noch auf einen kräftigen Rücksetzter der auch kommen wird aber ob ich unter 1$ nocheinmal zum Zug komme ist wohl fraglich

Ethanol Advances Most in Two Weeks on Signs of Stronger Economy

Nov. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Ethanol futures in Chicago advanced the most in more than two weeks on signs of a stronger U.S. economy that could boost demand for fuels.

Futures gained after the Commerce Department said retail sales rose 0.5 percent last month, higher than the 0.3 percent forecast in a Bloomberg News survey. Ethanol, mixed with gasoline, is part of U.S. energy plans to reduce dependence on crude oil imports.

“That’s good news to the market,” said Dan Flynn, a trader at PFG Best in Chicago. “Energy prices are higher, corn’s picking up. It’s just tailor-made for ethanol to go higher.”

Denatured ethanol for December delivery rose 2.8 cents, or 1.1 percent, to $2.68 a gallon on the Chicago Board of Trade, the highest price since Nov. 3 and the steepest gain since Oct. 27. Futures have increased 13 percent this year.

In cash market trading ethanol in New York climbed 5 cents, or 1.7 percent, to $3.01 a gallon and in Chicago the additive increased 15 cents, or 1.1 percent, to $2.84, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

Ethanol in the U.S. Gulf added 2 cents, or 0.7 percent, to $2.985 a gallon and on the West Coast the biofuel was unchanged at $3.045.

Crude oil for December delivery rose $1.23, or 1.3 percent, to $99.37 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, the highest settlement price since July 26. Futures reached an intraday high of $99.84.

Gasoline for December delivery gained 5.04 cents, or 2 percent, to $2.5857 a gallon in New York. The contract includes reformulated gasoline, which is made to be blended with ethanol before delivery to filling stations.

Corn for December delivery jumped 12 cents, or 1.9 percent, to $6.455 a bushel in Chicago. The grain is the primary input used to make ethanol in the U.S.

USA hat die Billiönchenfrage nicht lösen können. Was hat das für eine Auswirkung auf PEIX / Ethanol-Markt?
Wären die news ein paar Tage vorher gekommen hätte ich anders gehandelt.

NEW YORK (AP) -- Pacific Ethanol Inc. said Wednesday that it has met requirements that allow it to remain listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange.

The Sacramento, Calif., ethanol maker was warned earlier this year by Nasdaq that it didn't meet the market's minimum $1 per share closing price. Pacific Ethanol says Nasdaq has since deemed it in compliance after the company's stock held above a dollar for 10 consecutive trading days.

also ich muss sagen als kurz nochmal runter ging auf 1,05usd und es einfach nicht steigen wollte dachte ich schon kurz mal ans verkaufen !!!!!!

Richtig interessant wirds eig erst wieder wenns auf die 4Q Ergebnisse zugeht? Aufgrund der tiefen Maispreise gehe ich mal vorsichtig von einem guten Ergebnis aus. Einziges Bauchweh das ich habe ist der grosse debt Wert.

Es ist ein Investor mit ca. 8.000.000 Dollar dort eingestiegen und bekommt dafür Aktien mit einem Stückkurs von 1,05 Dollar.

Klar die einen finden es nicht gut wegen einer Verwässerung aber ich sehe das in diesen Zeiten als Megageil an das ein Investor sich so stark beteidigt an PEIX.

Zudem bekam er Warrents zugesprochen für weitere gut 4 Millionen Aktien zu einem Kurs von 1,50 Dollar.

Der neue Investor kannte die Zahlen des angefangenen Q4 schon und die können aufgrund seines Einstiges nur richtig gut sein.

Also ich gehe hier davon aus das wir die nächsten Wochen stark Richtung 2 Dollar laufen werden.

Die Pacific Ethanol Aktie schoss in einer steilen Rally im November bis fast an den EMA200 (rot) hinauf, bevor eine Konsolidierung auf hohem Niveau startete. Heute rutscht der Wert dabei unter die Tiefs der letzten zwei Wochen zurück, eine weitere Korrekturwelle bis 0,74 - 0,77 $ könnte nun folgen. Ob anschließend ein weiterer Rallyschub starten kann, bleibt noch abzuwarten.

Erst ein Ausbruch über 1,80 per Tages- und Wochenschluss würde ein Anschlusskaufsignal mit Zielen bei 2,59 und 4,00 $ auslösen. Bin auch der Meinung, dass 4Q wird sicher zeigen wohin der Weg führt. Maispreise sind weiterhin günstig, ich hoffe allerdings nicht dass es zu einer Auseinandersetzung mit dem Iran kommt. Denn da wird Russland und China nicht bloss zuschauen, sofern sich die USA wieder verpflichtet fühlen . Und dann wird das Ganze unberechenbar.

PEIX has declined 83% during the last year, but has gained more than 170% over the last 3 months, and is now presenting a perfect opportunity for large gains. The stock's been very volatile during the last year, yet fundamentally, continues to improve. The stock's recent gains have been the result of record earnings which include: a 71% year-over-year gain in gallons sold; its 9th consecutive quarter of increased gallons sold; and a 490% year-over-year gain in net sales. The company is trading with much better fundamentals and continues to improve its margins. I'm expecting very large gains in PEIX during the next year: ethanol prices continue to increase and the company has secured its first management agreement beyond PEIX plants which show outside growth and expansion. I'm also optimistic regarding the future of ethanol after many failed attempts to push natural gas among politicians. Ethanol serves many purposes including cleaner fuel, cheaper gas, cleaner air and less dependency on foreign oil, which may entice more demand. The future appears bright for this small cap stock, and the stock is trading with loss despite great fundamental gains. I see no reason that PEIX won't continue to trade higher with large profits for many quarters to come.

Ethanol Marks Longest Winning Streak in Four Months on Corn Cost

Dec. 27 (Bloomberg) -- Ethanol futures extended their longest winning streak in more than four months on speculation production costs are poised to rise.

Futures increased amid concern that corn crops in South America will be damaged by heat and dry weather, leading to increased demand for U.S. supplies. The grain is the primary ingredient in U.S. ethanol production.

Both ethanol and corn futures have gained for seven days. One bushel of the grain makes at least 2.75 gallons of ethanol. About 5 billion bushels will go to ethanol production in 2012, down 0.4 percent from the year before, the U.S. Agriculture Department said in the World Agricultural Supply and Demand report issued Dec. 9.

Denatured ethanol for January delivery added 3.8 cents, or 1.7 percent, to settle at $2.223 a gallon on the Chicago Board of Trade, capping the longest streak of increases since Aug. 17. Futures have fallen 6.5 percent this year, headed for the first yearly decline since 2008.

Corn futures for March delivery climbed 13.75 cents, or 2.2 percent, to $6.3325 a bushel on the CBOT.

The South Dakota Governor’s Office of Economic Development will begin accepting applications on Jan. 9 for financial assistance to help retailers in the state install blender pumps. State legislators recently approved a proposal agreed to earlier this year by the state’s ethanol producers that will redirect $3.5 million over five years away from the state’s Ethanol Producer Payments Program in order to fund the Ethanol Infrastructure Incentive Program. The GOED said $950,000 will be available for use in 2012.

“Ethanol use is a very simple and real way South Dakotans can decrease their dependence on foreign oil and promote a homegrown product,” said Dana Siefkes-Lewis, president of South Dakota Ethanol Producers Association. “Through this grant program, we hope more gas stations make ethanol blends available to South Dakota consumers, in turn supporting South Dakota’s economy and those employed by the ethanol industry.”

Grants will be available to fund up to $25,000 for the installation of a station’s first blender pump. Applicants are also eligible to receive up to $10,000 for the installation of each additional pump. Hunter Roberts, South Dakota energy policy director, said state officials hope to distribute the entire $950,000 in 2012. “Whether that results in many locations with a few pumps or a few locations with many pumps, we’ll consider it a win,” he said. “Our bottom-line is increasing access to our homegrown ethanol products, and we’re pleased to offer the industry this shot in the arm.” Most of the funds available in 2012 will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. The final $190,000, however, will be awarded on a competitive basis.

Rick Serie, director of market development for South Dakota-based American Coalition for Ethanol, commended the state for its efforts to expand ethanol availability. “The South Dakota Ethanol Producers and the state have shown leadership in putting together this effort,” he said. “This state has continually looked at ways to get more ethanol to consumers and this program will go a long way towards supporting ethanol plants, hundreds of South Dakotans employed by those plants, and the thousands of farmers and local owners that benefit from the economic activity created by ethanol production.”

South Dakota was the first state to allow ethanol blender pumps. Currently, there are about 100 blender pumps in the state, according to the GOED. Fifteen of the nation’s ethanol plants are located in South Dakota, representing more than 1 billion gallons of production capacity. The world’s largest ethanol producer, Poet LLC, is based in South Dakota and operates five facilities there in addition to its research center, which has the capacity to produce another 11 MMgy. More than 900 people are directly employed by South Dakota’s ethanol industry, according to information from the GOED. “Ethanol production is a very effective way to increase the value of our agriculture base,” said Gov. Dennis Daugaard. “By making more ethanol blends available, we are improving producer opportunities, creating jobs and stabilizing our domestic fuel supplies.”

The GOED, together with the South Dakota Ethanol Producers Association, ACE, Growth Energy, the South Dakota Petroleum and Propane Marketers Association and the South Dakota Association of Cooperatives, will hold three days of informational meetings about the program at locations around the state beginning on Jan. 11. Given the increases in ethanol levels in gasoline in 2011, and assuming continued positive gross margins the
Madero plant, may be re-opened. We are assuming very modest production from this plant in the first
quarter, 2012 then production at the full capacity of 10 million gallons per quarter for the rest of the year.
The price of ethanol is more closely related to the price of gasoline than to the price of corn. At this point in
time corn has peaked and the price has dropped. This has a slight but positive effect on gross margins.
California is the largest gasoline consuming state in the Union and there is a shortage of ethanol production
in California. Pacific Ethanol has a very strong presence in the Western United States and markets 100% of
the ethanol produced in California. In the past about one third of the company's sales are from internal
production, one third under contract and one third from other sources. This is moving to a smaller proportion
of internal and contract ethanol, even when the Madera plant is re-opened. We would expect Pacific Ethanol
to announce more contracts in 2012 as the supply of ethanol tightens in California.
Pacific Ethanol has announced an agreement with ZeaChem to maintain the plant, produce and sell the
ethanol produced from cellulosic material (no corn) feedstock. This is a small plant with capacity of 250,000
gallons a year and it is situated very close the Boardman, OR, plant.

2011 Exports Could Exceed 1.1 Billion Gallons

(January 13, 2012) Washington - U.S. exports of denatured and undenatured (non-beverage) ethanol set a new monthly record of 152.5 million gallons (mg) in November, according to government data released this morning. Brazil was the leading destination for U.S. product and accounted for nearly half of total shipments for the month. Canada, Mexico, and the Netherlands were among other top destinations.

Year-to-date total exports through November stood at 1.02 billion gallons (bg), meaning exports were on pace for a 2011 calendar year total of 1.11 bg. Notably, these exports did not qualify for the ethanol blender’s tax credit, as the ethanol was not blended with gasoline prior to exportation.




“Exports have become an important part of the business model for American ethanol producers,” said Geoff Cooper, Vice President of Research and Analysis at the Renewable Fuels Association. “American ethanol producers are the lowest cost provider of motor fuel today and have ample supplies available to help meet ethanol demand around the globe. While the preference for American producers would be to use more ethanol domestically through use of higher ethanol blends like E15, E30 and E85, overseas markets will remain a viable and important part of America’s ethanol industry.”

In December, Cooper raised the issue of U.S. policies that perversely incent the import of ethanol from Brazil. Cooper coined the phenomenon the “Ethanol Shuffle". While import data for November is not yet available, anecdotal evidence suggests the “Ethanol Shuffle” continued in November and will continue into 2012.

On the co-products side, November exports of distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS) totaled 538,174 metric tons (mt), the lowest monthly tally of the year. China was the top market (140,741 mt), followed by Mexico (117,108 mt), and Canada (53,458 mt). Year-to-date exports of DDGS stood at 7.08 million mt, meaning exports are on pace for 7.72 million mt for the calendar year. That total would be down 14% from 2010’s record exports of 9.03 million mt.

PEIX looks to have bottomed out recently and it appears the stock is in accumulation mode. Volume has slowed down, yet the pps has very slowly been trending upwards. PEIX has lowered guidance going into the Q4 2011 earnings call. This is one explanation why it appears the stock is slowly being accumulated by some traders. If PEIX surprises to the upside, we can expect a stronger rally, and a good chance of a double from the current pps level.

Obama was expected to devote a significant portion of his speech slated for 9 p.m. EST Tuesday calling for a "new era for American energy," which will include promoting domestic natural gas production, according to documents provided to Democratic party sources.

U.S. natural gas output has grown sharply in recent years thanks to advances in drilling techniques that have unlocked massive shale reserves.

Obama has repeatedly stressed the importance of domestic natural gas output, pointing to natural gas as a possible area of compromise for Democrats and Republicans.

But, the administration has also raised the ire of the oil and gas industry by moving forward with new regulations of the drilling that companies argue could hamper future development. He has also twice delayed the Canada-to-Texas Keystone oil sands pipeline.

Environmentalists and some landowners near shale gas wells argue that the recent shale boom is polluting air and water and needs greater federal oversight.

Obama administration officials have said that while natural gas production is important to the U.S. energy future, it must be done safely.

The White House is weighing including a natural gas production goal the speech, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal.

Obama's address will also focus on the importance of not sacrificing environmental protections and investments in clean energy during this time of budget constraints and concerns about job creation, said Elgie Holstein, senior director for strategic planning at the Environmental Defense Fund.

"We're anticipating that the president will make a pointed defense of the fact that taking care of our environment and building clean energy future is another form of investment in America's economic future," Holstein said.

Transforming the U.S. economy by investing in clean energy innovation has been a central theme for the administration since Obama took office in 2009.

Republicans have blasted Obama for focusing on clean energy sources, such as wind and solar, to the detriment of fossil fuels, which they argue are still needed to fuel the U.S. economy.

The high profile collapse of Solyndra, the solar panel maker, after receiving more than $500 million in loan aid from the Obama administration also provided ammunition to critics who say the government should not be in the business of picking winners and losers in the energy sector.

Still, Obama officials contend that the United States can not afford to fall behind developing nations such as China and India when it comes to green energy.

Facing an election in November, Obama will likely tout his commitment to energy independence.

"President Obama can tell a very positive story about his energy policies," said Daniel Weiss, a senior fellow at the liberal think tank, Center for American Progress.

Heather Zichal, a White House adviser on energy and climate change, released an editorial last week highlighting rising domestic oil and natural gas production, as well as falling oil imports under Obama.

Zichal highlighted proposed fuel economy standards that would push average fuel efficiency to 54.5 miles per gallon across U.S. fleets in the coming decade, cutting oil consumption by an estimated 2.2 million barrels a day by 2025.

Jose Graziano da Silva, the new director general of the United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), recently argued that the use of corn to make ethanol in the U.S. is playing a noticeable factor in raising grain prices worldwide. Ethanol production from sugar cane in Brazil accounts for only 3 % of land use, and does not currently affect the price of sugar on international markets, according to the director general of the FAO.

"Bis zum Jahr 2012, überschüssige Öl Produktionskapazität könnten ganz verschwinden, und so früh wie 2015, das Defizit im Ausgang könnte fast 10 Millionen Barrel pro Tag zu erreichen", heißt es im Bericht aus dem US Joint Forces Command.

"Man sollte nicht vergessen, dass die Weltwirtschaftskrise eine Reihe von totalitären Regimen, dass wirtschaftlicher Wohlstand für ihre Völker suchten durch rücksichtslose Eroberung hervorgebracht hat."

Der Punkt, an dem Öl- Verbrauch übersteigt die Produktion ist bekannt als " Peak Oil ", und wird sich voraussichtlich bis weit verbreiteten Unruhen in der weltweiten Öl-abhängigen Volkswirtschaften führen.

"Solch eine Konjunkturabschwächung verschärfen würden andere ungelöste Spannungen [und] fragile und scheiternde Staaten weiter nach unten drücken, den Weg in Richtung Zusammenbruch", heißt es im Bericht.

Obwohl die neuen Warnhinweise entstehen, dass Peak Oil unmittelbar bevorsteht weiter, setzt das US Department of Energy, darauf zu bestehen, dass es keine Notwendigkeit, Öl Angst Mangel .

"Es ist erstaunlich zu sehen, dass die US-Armee, im Gegensatz zu den US-Department of Energy, öffentlich warnt die großen Öl-Knappheit in naher Zukunft", sagte Post-Graduate-Peak-Oil-Forscher Lionel Badal des Kings College London.

"Die Energy Information Administration [EIA] seit Jahren sagen, dass Peak Oil war" Jahrzehnte entfernt. " In Anbetracht der Bericht des US Joint Forces Command, ist die EIA noch zuversichtlich, seine früheren sehr optimistischen Schlussfolgerungen? "

Kürzlich gab die Obama-Administration top Öl Berater in einem Interview mit einem Französisch Papier, dass "eine Chance gibt" eines flüssigen Brennstoffen Produktion Rückgang zwischen 2011 und 2015.

Die US-Armee ist vermutlich die weltweit größte Verbraucher von zu Erdöl Kraftstoff. Bei niedrigem Volumen sprichst du von Shortys - nein nein hier wurden nur die engen stops bei 1.14 nach unten ausgelöst.
Ausverkauf sieht anders aus - der aber nicht passieren sollte ,denke das 1 Dollar vielleicgt noch getestet wird.(muss aber nicht sein )

Produktion und Exporte legten 2011 zu / Rasantes Wachstum im Biodieselsegment / Unwägbarkeiten bei den Fördermaßnahmen / Von Oliver Höflinger

San Francisco (gtai) - Für Biokraftstoffe war 2011 in den USA ein gutes Jahr. Die Produktion von Ethanolkraftstoffen stieg weiter, die von Biodiesel erholte sich nach einem zweijährigen Rückgang. Die Branche setzt unter anderem auf weiter steigende Ethanolexporte. Ferner hat die Umweltbehörde EPA Ende 2011 ihre endgültigen Vorgaben für den Einsatz von erneuerbaren Kraftstoffen für 2012 bekanntgegeben. Dabei rechnet sie bei zellulosischem Ethanol mit dem Anlaufen der Produktion im kommerziellen Maßstab. (Kontaktanschriften)

Die Produktion von Ethanolkraftstoffen legte in den ersten zehn Monaten 2011 laut der Renewable Fuels Association (RFA) um 5,9% auf 11.508 Mio. Gallonen zu. Der Energy Information Administration (EIA) zufolge gab es (Stand: Januar 2011) landesweit 193 Ethanolkraftwerke mit einer Kapazität von insgesamt 13.614 Mio. Gallonen jährlich. Die Nachfrage in den USA nahm im Zeitraum Januar bis Oktober um 2,0% auf 10.642 Mio. Gallonen ab, während die US-Ethanolausfuhren 2011 einen Höchststand erreichten und den USA damit Platz eins auf der Rangliste der weltweit größten Ethanolexporteure einbrachten.

Für viele Branchenkenner ist diese Entwicklung auch ein Indikator dafür, dass insgesamt die sogenannte "Blend Wall" erreicht ist, das heißt der Zustand in dem fast jede in den USA verkaufte Gallone Kraftstoff mit einer zehnprozentigen Ethanolbeimischung versehen ist (umfassende Nutzung von "E10"). Gleichzeitig würde dies unter den derzeitigen Rahmenbedingungen auch das Ende der kräftigen einheimischen Nachfrageexpansion der letzten Jahre bedeuten.

Eine Zäsur für die Ethanolbranche 2011 war der insgesamt geräuschlose Wegfall des Volumetric Ethanol Excise Tax Credit (VEETC) zum Jahresende. Dieser nationale fiskalische Anreiz war 2004 eingeführt worden und gewährte Mischwerken und Händlern eine Steuergutschrift von 45 US$-Cents für jede beigemischte Gallone Ethanol. Die RFA rechnet allerdings mit keinen negativen Auswirkungen auf die Branche. Aus ihrer Sicht hat der VEETC dafür gesorgt, dass die Ethanolhersteller auf eigenen Beinen stehen könnten, sei nun aber nicht mehr nötig.

Vor diesem Hintergrund ist die US-Ethanolbranche erwartungsvoll ins Jahr 2012 gegangen. Ein positiver Beitrag wird vom regulären Einsatz von "E15" (15% Ethanol, 85% Benzin) erwartet. Bisher bestehen nur zwei Sonderfreigaben der Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), die den Verkauf von "E15" zur ausschließlichen Nutzung für Pkw, SUV und leichte Lkw ab dem Modeljahr 2001 aufwärts sowie für Flexible Fuel Vehicles (FFVs) genehmigen. Da die Umweltschutzbehörde "E15" bisher allerdings nicht offiziell registriert hat, darf das Benzingemisch noch nicht für den Einsatz in konventionellen Fahrzeugen verkauft werden. Die RFA geht derzeit aber davon aus, dass dies im 1. Halbjahr 2012 der Fall sein wird.

Gesetzt wird ferner auf weiterhin steigende US-Ethanolexporte sowie auf die sich im Bau befindlichen kommerziellen Zelluloseethanolbioraffinerien. Nicht zuletzt im Hinblick auf letztere beziehungsweise auf stabile Investitionsbedingungen setzt sich die RFA für die längerfristige Verlängerung der Ende 2012 auslaufenden Anreize "Cellulosic Biofuels Producer Tax Credit" (PTC) und "Special Depreciation Allowance for Cellulosic Biofuel Plant Property" ein.

In negativer Hinsicht rechnet die Renewable Fuels Association für 2012 mit diversen rechtlichen Auseinandersetzungen sowohl auf nationaler Ebene - beispielsweise im Hinblick auf die Ethanolnutzung im Spannungsfeld zwischen Energiesicherheit, Umweltschutz und Nahrungsmittelproduktion sowie auf das Renewable Fuel Standard Program (RFS2) - als auch auf internationaler Ebene - bezüglich des Marktzugangs für Ethanol.

Bei Biodiesel konnte laut der Environmental Protection Agency nach zwei rückläufigen Jahren im Zeitraum Januar bis November 2011 ein kräftiger Produktionsanstieg von 223,1% auf 908 Mio. Gallonen verzeichnet werden. Dabei wurde bereits im Oktober der bisherige Produktionshöchstwert von 691 Mio. Gallonen aus dem Jahr 2008 übertroffen.

Das sehr hohe Wachstum 2011 kam vor allem dadurch zustande, dass die im Vorjahr nicht bestehende Steuergutschrift von 1 US$ pro Gallone wieder gewährt worden war. Im Jahr 2010 hatten viele Firmen ihre Produktion zurückgefahren oder stillgelegt. Ende 2011 ist nun allerdings der Anreiz erneut ausgelaufen. Das National Biodiesel Board (NBB) rechnet mit negativen Auswirkungen auf die Branche und setzt sich für dessen Verlängerung ein. Auf bundesstaatlicher Ebene hat Illinois bereits Ende 2011 seine 2013 auslaufende Steuergutschrift für Biodiesel bis 2018 verlängert.

Na dass will ich sehen. Immer langsam, Sportsfreund. Ein erster wichtiger Wegweiser wird am 28. März präsentiert. Sollte Q4 positives bringen, dann wird der Kurs profitieren.

Die Margen sind aber nach wie vor klein, da bringen die steigenden Umsätze die immer publiziert werden wenig.

Zudem werden mit solchen News nur Hoffnungen geschürt. Wenn die Zahlen die Erwartungen nicht tragen, dann ist der Kurs wieder unten, das Volumen wird rausgehen und du kannst PEIX wieder ins Regal stellen.

So sehe ich es jedenfalls.

nun der markt sieht danach aus, dass das gab geschlossen wird.


statistisch ist mehrheitlich von einer raschen schließung
entstandener kurslücken auszugehen. die annahme einer
ausnahmslosen schließung überfordert jedoch eine
an sich gute idee und ist praktisch kaum umsetzbar. abwärts-

Wenn morgen das EMA50 bei 1,065$ fällt, dann bin ich weg....

Was mir an PEIX oder generell an dem Ethanolsektor Sorgen bereitet ist das bereits der viertgrößte Ethanolplayer seine Kapazitäten um 30% gedrosselt hat.

PEIX hat bisher nicht wirklich durch Gewinne aus dem Geschäftsfeld überzeugt , sondern hat in den letzten Jahren sich nur duch den Verkauf von Aktien in den Markt über Wasser halten können. Ich habe damals den Wert hier als Thread eröffnet, weil ich wußte wenn die Verwässerung beendet ist, wird es einen Run geben. Aktuell wirft PEIX weiterhin Aktien in den Markt und nicht gerade in kleinen Paketen, deshalb halte ich Abstand von diesem Wert. Ich denke, dass wir $0.53 in einem fallenden Gesamtmarkt sehen könnten. Das Geschäftsmodell hat bisher nicht beweisen können, dass es überlebensfähig ist. Wie gesag,t das was ich hier schreibe stellt nur eine Meinung von vielen dar.

Genau, in wenigen Monaten, aber nicht jetzt.
Vor dem politischen Hintergrund und dem daraus resultierenden Druck auf die Märkte, habe ich mich eben auch für nen Ausstieg entschieden.
Ob es richtig war oder nicht wird sich zeigen, aber mir war es jetzt doch zu heiß.

Weil wird das EMA heute nach unten durchbrochen, dann rechne ich mit weiteren Abverkäufen. Und die 10-20% Verlust muss ich nicht mitmachen.
Wenn es dreht, springe ich evtl. wieder auf.

Ich gehe einfach von einem Durchbruch nach unten aus. Mir gefällt das gesamte Marktumfeld gerade nicht und verziehe mich deshalb mehr und mehr an die Seitenlinie.

Ich kann mich erinnern daß du zwar früh zum Einstieg geblasen hast aber den steilen Anstieg eigentlich zu 90% verpasst hast da du gleich wieder raus bist.

Ich habe in leider auch zum Großteil verpasst aber daß du nun wieder hier bist hat wohl nur 1 Ziel

Exports accounted for 8.6 percent of U.S. ethanol production in 2011, according to the RFA, up from 3 percent in 2010 and 1 percent in 2009.

According to the RFA, the major importer of US ethanol was Brazil, with 33 per cent of the ethanol exports for the year heading to the South American giant. According to Ethanol Producer Magazine, Brazil has had a high demand for ethanol and low supplies, due to a variety of factors. Brazil's sugarcane season officially ends in March, but a Jan. 16 press release from UNICA, the Brazilian Sugarcane Industry Association, revealed that 2011 ethanol production from April to December was down 18.74 percent from the same time period in 2010.

Brazilian imports could drop sizably in the coming years, however, as the RFA recently called for an investigation into news that the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo planned to impose a 25 percent tax on all imported ethanol. "Because ethanol produced in Sao Paulo is tax exempt, ethanol imported into Sao Paulo from the United States and other areas is at a substantial economic disadvantage," wrote RFA President and CEO Bob Dinneen.
