Also, ich sehe Kunene-1 in 1711A ohne den DRY HOLE-Hinweis wie z.B. bei 1811.
Frag mich jetzt, was Du mit Deinem Hinweis bezweckst.

Hydrocarb Energy in Joint Venture Discussions
      HOUSTON, November 19, 2014
Hydrocarb Energy Corporation (OTCQB: HECC) confirmed ongoing discussions with several international energy firms expressing interest in the company’s Owambo Basin Concession in Namibia. Hydrocarb has executed three Confidentiality Agreements to date with firms interested in forming a Joint Venture to explore the concession blocks in northern Namibia comprising 21,300 sq. km (5.3 million acres) adjacent to the Angola border.
Hydrocarb Energy holds a 90% working interest in the highly prospective Owambo Basin concession with Namcor, the Namibian National Oil Company, holding the remaining 10%. Extensive geologic field studies were completed last year proving the existence of excellent high-porosity reservoir rocks, potential source rocks, in addition to soil sampling indicating the presence of crude oil from a well test. Recent aerial gravity and magnetics analyses have identified 16 new structural leads while approximately 15% of Hydrocarb’s concession has been explored with modern 2D seismic data to date.
Chuck Dommer, Hydrocarb’s President stated, “With the discovery of 16 new leads and last year’s field study results, we are moving ahead with seismic studies, and our next step is to bring in an industry partner to expand our exploration efforts in the Owambo Basin.”
Netherland, Sewell & Associates, Inc. (NSAI) has assigned 1.1 billion barrels of unrisked potential in-place oil resources in the Oponono Prospect located in a portion the concession. Unrisked potential recoverable oil resources from this single prospect range from 46 to 295 million barrels of oil (MMBO).

Other Oil Players Want to Join the Hydrocarb Energy Team (XOM, HECC,
      TUWLF, BP)
Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM), Tullow Oil plc (OTCMKTS:TUWLF), and BP
plc (NYSE:BP) are all in the area, and any (or all) could be the partners Hydrocarb
      Energy Corp. (OTCBB:HECC) didn't name.
      By James E. Brumley
      Nov 20, 2014 7:30:52 AM PST
It would be nothing more than speculation to suggest which oil exploration companies have teamed up with Hydrocarb Energy Corp. (OTCBB:HECC) to co-explore the company's property in northern Namibia, Africa. Then again, there are several players who have already set up shop in the area - some already producing oil in Namibia or its northern neighbor Angola - that would make very logical co-venture candidates. These organizations range from as small as Tullow Oil plc (OTCMKTS:TUWLF) to as large as BP plc (NYSE:BP). Both BP and Tullow Oil, along with a myriad of other oil exploration names, have been busy in Africa for several years now. That effort could be about to ramp up though, for several reasons.
Truth be told, its African oil prospect is probably the most compelling aspect of Hydrocarb Energy, even though the bulk of the recent attention for HECC has been on its operation in Galveston Bay, Texas. That's where Hydrocarb Energy Corp. owns about 140 wells that were previously owned and previously capped by Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM). Forty of those 140 wells have been reworked by HECC and are now producing again at a collective pace of 6000 barrels per month, as of September. Most of the other wellbores should be brought back online in the foreseeable future.
It's all exciting to investors because it's happening "here and now" whereas the potential in Africa is "down the road." The Namibia prospect, however, just took a big step towards becoming a "here and now" venture as well. Investors may want to take note, because this venture is very much a right time, right place project for HECC.
Most investors are surprised to learn that six of the world's biggest ten oil finds in 2013 were in Africa. Last year, the continent yielded about 8% of the world's total oil supply, which matches nicely with the fact that about 8% of the world's proven reserves can be found in Africa. Neither figure is insignificant. For those familiar with Africa's oil industry, they'll know that Nigeria has long been one of the centerpieces - probably THE centerpiece - for the continent's oil output. That's changing though. As Elisabeth Proust, Chief Executive of Total Upstream Company in Nigeria, recently said "I believe all stakeholders recognize the urgent need to replace production in Nigeria. The level of drilling activity in
Nigeria and the reserve replacement ratio of drilling activity in Nigeria and the reserves replacement ratio of the country are extremely low right now."
The reason, though irrelevant, include a combination of a less-than-favorable regulatory environment, currency challenges, and perhaps above all else, it's getting tougher and tougher to find oil there. The obvious follow-up question: If oil exploration is drying
up in Nigeria, where are these companies going to explore? Answer: A little further down the western coast of Africa, to Angola and - lo and behold - Namibia, right where the aforementioned Hydrocarb Energy Corp. owns11/21/2014 Other Oil Players Want to Join the Hydrocarb Energy Team (XOM, HECC, TUWLF, BP) : Focused Small Caps where the aforementioned Hydrocarb Energy Corp. owns rights to explore and eventually drill for oil on 5.3 million
acres worth of land. This concession is in northern Namibia, bordering Angola, in an area called the Owambo Basin. It's not a shot in the dark either. Tullow Oil plc intends to
drill five more wells off the coast of Namibia by 2016. BP plc plans to spend $20 billion exploring and developing prospects in Angola alone by the year 2020. Why? Because there's oil there. There's oil all around the region, much of which has yet to be pinpointed. Hydrocarb Energy Corp. is sitting on 1.1 billion barrels of oil at its concession, 295 million barrels of which have been deemed recoverable by a third-party eological/feasibility report.Fast forward to today.... well, yesterday. That's when Hydrocarb Energy announced it had inked deals with three different companies to further explore its concession in the Owambo Basin. The press release didn't say, or even suggest, which three companies are now in the fold. To make an educated guess, however, the best place to start may well be with companies that either have already shown interest in the region, and/or companies that would like to gain a foothold in the region. Tullow Oil, BP, Exxon Mobil, and others are all possibilities that can't be ruled out. And if it is such a big name, it's a very encouraging sign. Only time will tell. Regardless of who the partners are, sooner or later, a bigger player is going to appreciate the fact that Hydrocarb Energy is sitting on $25 billion worth of recoverable oil in Namibia, which makes it an acquisition target. One has to wonder if the three co-explorers brought into the picture as of yesterday are already thinking in those terms, and perhaps mentally preparing to do such a deal down the road.
      Just food for thought

      Danke MMchen.
