With September’s iPhone release in the rearview and the iPad Pro set for an early November launch, Apple is ready to add some new Mac hardware into its fall product line. Apple is currently planning to announce new 21.5-inch iMacs with 4K screens next week, according to multiple reliable sources. While the new computers are likely ready to begin showing up in stores as soon as Tuesday, October 13th, Apple will ramp up larger quantities for November, according to the sources, so finding one early on may be a slight challenge.

The new 4K iMacs will physically look like the current non-4K version, so the highlights of the upgrade will be the new 4096 x 2304 screen and much faster graphics cards. The machines will also likely come pre-loaded with El Capitan. As with the 5K iMac’s launch last year, the new 4K versions will come in at slightly higher price points than the non-4K variants. Apple has also been working on a new Magic Mouse 2 with Force Touch integration and a new Bluetooth Keyboard with improved battery life, but it is currently unclear if those accessories are ready to launch alongside the new Mac.

Dann muss es doch diese Woche noch eine Präsentation geben kein Mensch und Dreh recht nicht der Konzern Apple würde einfach ein Produkt auf den Markt bringen das jenseits der 1000 Euro liegt ohne vorher zu erklären wieso man es kaufen sollte oder hat da wer andere Erfahrungen gesammelt ?

Wird man sehen. AAPL up am FREitag. Gründe: Erweiterung von Apple Pay in terms of STArbucks, Yum! Brands' (YUM) KFC and Brinker International's (EAT) Chili's, according to Re/code.net. Und Apple’S new upgrade plan concerning iPhones. Dieses wird Einfluss haben auf die I-PHOne-Numbers.

Geschieht alle Nase lang mit Computer-Updates bei Apple, bei denen kein Redesign stattfindet – da gibt es oft keine Extra-Keynote. Wäre 4K nicht schon bei den 27"ern vorstellt und etabliert, würden sie definitiv mehr Wirbel machen, aber so sehr gut vorstellbar, dass es wie öfter schon bei den MacBooks und iMacs ein "Silent Update" wird.

Und auch noch mal etwas ausführlicher as to Gene. ES geht um einen Anreiz die iPHones früher upzugraden.

Apple's stock has been under scrutiny recently, having fallen about 7 percent in the last three months amid growth concerns in China.

Still, Munster maintains the upgrade plan could send the stock well past its all-time intraday high of $134.54, thus justifying Piper's $172 price target.

"Just to rewind, when you bought your iPhone a year ago, you bought it on a subsidized basis, which was every two years, so today we estimate that about 95 percent of users are going to buy with the option to upgrade annually."

The company's upgrade program lets users trade in their used iPhones for a new model after one year, with plans starting at about $32 a month.
