Appointment in Vaisala´s Management Group

Kaarina Muurinen, M.Sc. (Econ.), has been appointed Vaisala´s Chief Financial
Officer and a member of Vaisala´s Business and Strategic Management Groups
starting September 19, 2011.
Kaarina Muurinen joins Vaisala from Nokia, where she has worked for thirteen
years in various global finance and control senior management positions, most
recently as Vice President, Finance & Control for Demand Supply Network
Management and Sourcing. Prior to that position, she worked as Vice President in
the Shared Accounting Services unit and as a Director for the Financial Services
Platform. Before her career in Nokia, Kaarina held financial management
positions at Hewlett Packard in Finland and Belgium, at Lapponia Jewelry and at
Alkuperäistuonti.
Jouni Lintunen, the current CFO, will assume a new role within Vaisala, to be
announced later.
