Acquisition of kwb tools GmbH & Co. KG

Einhell Germany AG (ISIN: DE 0005654933) which is listed under Prime
Standard of Deutsche Börse AG announces the following:

The Einhell Group has today, the 02 May 2012, upon approval by the
supervisory board taken over the company kwb tools GmbH & Co. KG. Depending
on the payment of the purchase price, the transaction should be finished
till the middle of May 2012.

Kwb tools is an internationally operating company based in Stuhr, near to
Bremen and is one of the leading European providers of a system of power
tool accessories and hand tools.

The completion of the product range with accessories represents an
important milestone on the way to the establishment of Einhell as A brand.

Kwb tools generates yearly revenues of EUR 25-30 million. The outcome of
this is for the proportionately business year May till December 2012 a
sales contribution of around EUR 15-20 million out of the operational
business.

With the integration of kwb tools in the Group, Einhell is able to offer
worldwide a completed assortment of accessories by its sales companies. For
this reason, Einhell is able to generate an additional sales volume above
its core business.
