ValCom Names Anthony Barrett CEO

BOONTON TOWNSHIP, NJ--(Marketwired - Dec 13, 2013) - The Board of Directors of ValCom, Inc. (OTC Pink: VLCO) announced today that Anthony Barrett has been appointed CEO effective as of December 12, 2013. The ValCom Directors thanked their fellow Director, Tim Harrington, for his services as the interim CEO.

Anthony Barrett has an extensive background in communications, entertainment and TV network management beginning with his first company founded in 1986 which Nynex recognized multiple times with its prized "Achievement in Excellence Award." In 1998 AT&T purchased all the AT&T and Nynex wireless customers and signed a Master Agent agreement with Mr. Barrett's company. From 1999 until 2001 Mr. Barrett was instrumental in establishing the infrastructure for Jewelry Television that enabled the company's significant growth. 

During 2001 through 2009 Mr. Barrett was Vice President of publicly traded Total Tel Communications where he established sales and fulfillment operations for the company. From 2010 until 2012 Mr. Barrett had oversight of the distribution of RTV (Retro Television, My Family Television, Tuff TV, The Nashville Network, Frost Great Outdoors and PBJ Children's Television Network).

In 2013 Mr. Barrett joined the private consulting firm of Robert B. Becker, Inc., experts in the management of Television Networks. The Becker firm had previously been engaged to assist in the management and expansion of My Family TV a wholly owned subsidiary of ValCom, Inc.
