Münster, 25/04/2014. Having decided to focus on core fields of business
associated with higher contribution margins and a consistent policy of
forgoing low-margin contracts, United Labels AG (ISIN: DE 0005489561, WKN:
548956) generated EUR33.2 million in Group sales in the 2013 financial year
(prev. year: EUR43.1 million) according to its definitive figures for the
annual period. The Group's gross profit margin rose to 23% (prev. year:
14%). At EUR3.3 million, net cash from operating activities was in positive
territory in the 2013 financial year.

The separate financial statements of United Labels AG showed profit of
EUR1.0 million for the annual period, having accounted for deferred taxes.
In total, the consolidated loss amounted to EUR0.8 million at Group level,
a marked improvement on the loss of EUR18.7 million posted a year ago.

As regards the current financial year, the company saw its order backlog
rise by 66% year on year in the first quarter, taking the figure to EUR10.6
million in Q1 2014 (prev. year Q1: EUR6.4 million). Operating from this
favourable platform for 2014, the Management Board plans to increase total
revenue by 10 to 20% in the current financial year.
