Trillium CNG Opens Compressed Natural Gas Fueling Station in Charlotte, N.C.

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Jul 24, 2014) - Trillium CNG™, a business unit of Integrys Energy Group, Inc. (NYSE: TEG), has completed construction of a new public access Class-8 accessible compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station on the southwest side of Charlotte, North Carolina. The station is part of an agreement with Frito-Lay North America, who selected Trillium CNG to design, build, operate and maintain CNG stations to serve its fleet of heavy-duty tractor-trailers.

The new CNG station is located in an industrial park at 9960 Brookford Street in Charlotte and is about one mile from I-485 and I-77, two major interstates that serve the greater Charlotte Metropolitan area.

The CNG station will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week and uses Trillium CNG's proprietary fast-fill hydraulic intensifier compressor. There are two fueling lanes today with expansion for an additional lane as demand increases.
