United Power Technology AG: Annual General Meeting resolves dividend
payment
Eschborn, Germany, August 21, 2014 - Yesterday, the Annual General Meeting
of United Power Technology AG (United Power), one of the leading
manufacturers of engine-driven power equipment in China, has resolved to
pay a cash dividend of 0.08 Euros per share for the financial year 2013.
Based on the closing price (XETRA) from August 20, 2014, the dividend yield
amounts to 3.5%.
Despite lower revenues in 2013 compared to the previous year, the
Management Board and Supervisory Board had jointly decided to propose a
dividend to the Annual General Meeting. The dividend is the first dividend
payment of United Power since its initial public offering in 2011. The
dividend policy going forward will seek an increase of dividends assuming
medium to long-term profitable growth, taking the general economic
conditions into account.
Around 60 per cent of the voting-entitled capital was represented at United
Power's Annual General Meeting. All resolutions of the agenda were passed
with a majority of over 99%.
"With the dividend payment we want our investors to benefit from the
development of our company and also increase the trust of our shareholders
in the reliability of United Power as an investment on the Frankfurt Stock
Exchange", states Wu, CEO of United Power.
