World's most richly endowed award for spine research

Amberg, October 2, 2014 - The "Grammer European Spine Journal Award" is
being presented for the 15th time at "Eurospine 2014", the largest European
congress on spine research, in recognition of outstanding research. This
year's award goes to a group of Canadian researchers headed by scientists
Florina Moldovan and Khaled Fendri for their basic findings in scoliosis.
It acknowledges the contribution which they have made to research into the
influence of certain groups of genes on the origin of adolescent idiopathic
scoliosis (AIS). The award is granted by Grammer AG and the European Spine
Journal.
