Russia continues to be an important export market for GERRY WEBER

(Halle/Westphalia, 8 October 2014) Contrary to the news of the Russian
daily press no existing Franchise contract has been canceled or annulled:
Russia is and will remain one of the most important export markets for the
GERRY WEBER Group. GERRY WEBER will continue working together with its
Franchise and Wholesale partners to successfully expand the GERRY WEBER
brand presence in Russia.

However, the company adheres to its general company policy to deliberately
refrain from doing business with customers with poor credit ratings who
have no credit insurance or cannot pay upfront.

"We hope that the politically and economically tense situation in Russia
is returning back to normal as soon as possible so that we can continue our
growth path in Russia together with our local partners", says Ralf Weber,
Board Member of the GERRY WEBER International AG.
