    TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - October 16, 2014) - In a special series across the country, Between the Pages: An Evening with the Scotiabank Giller Prize Finalists will bring this year's nominated works to life in Halifax on October 20th, Toronto on November 3rd and Vancouver on November 6th.

    The 2014 Scotiabank Giller Prize finalists, David Bezmozgis, Frances Itani, Sean Michaels, Heather O'Neill, Miriam Toews, Padma Viswanathan, will be joined in each city by a cast of local celebrity readers, who will read selections of the works. The discussion led by the events' hosts, CBC Radio's Carol Off (in Toronto) and Seamus O'Regan (in Halifax and Vancouver), will take you inside the minds and creative lives of the writers on the 2014 shortlist.

    The Scotiabank Giller Prize will air on CBC Television on Monday, Nov. 10 at 9 p.m. (9:30 NT) with host Jian Ghomeshi of CBC Radio's Q.
