Colliers International Closes All Asia Offices to Serve the Community

HONG KONG, CHINA--(Marketwired - Oct 31, 2014) - Across Asia, Colliers International offices closed their doors for one day on 24 October 2014 to contribute to their local communities. This immense combined effort was part of the Asia-wide corporate social responsibility campaign -- Out For Good -- launched three years ago. Out For Good encourages staff to make a positive contribution to their local communities.

Dennis Yeo, Interim Chief Executive Officer of Colliers International, Asia, said, "Colliers International is both a global company and a local corporate citizen. As such it is important we take time to give back to the local communities in which our employees, partners and clients live and work. We hope to make a difference to all the communities in which we do business."

On the Out-For-Good day, 1600 staff across Asia carried out various projects including donations, charity walks, home visits, beach and city cleanups. They also supported initiatives targeting low-income families, unprivileged women and girls, orphans, elderlies, and people with physical and mental disabilities.
