Continuity in ADLER's Management

Service Agreement with CEO Lothar Schäfer Extended

Successful Cooperation with Executive Board Continues

Haibach (near Aschaffenburg), 11 December 2014. The Supervisory Board of
Adler Modemärkte AG - one of Germany's largest textile retailers -
unanimously approved to prematurely extend the existing service agreement
with CEO Lothar Schäfer until the end of November 2019; Mr Schäfer's
current term would otherwise have ended in February 2016. As the CEO of the
Executive Board, 49-year-old Schäfer will continue to be responsible for
Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, Purchasing, Sales and Marketing, and
Public Relations. He has been in the management of ADLER since 2009 and
oversaw the Company's IPO as well as the successful repositioning.

"Extending our longstanding partnership with Lothar Schäfer is a clear
signal that we are focussed on continuity and the future. The Supervisory
Board is confident that Mr Schäfer will build on his previous successes and
drive ADLER's budgeted profitable growth forward", said Dr Michele Puller,
Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Adler Modemärkte AG, commenting on the
decision.

CFO Karsten Odemann will continue to serve alongside Mr Schäfer on the
Executive Board.
