SwiftStack Named a Major Player in IDC MarketScape Object-Based Storage Vendor Assessment

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 3, 2015) - SwiftStack, the leader in software-defined storage for the cloud, today announced that it has been named a Major Player in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Object-Based Storage 2014 Vendor Assessment. In the report, IDC identified a select group of emerging players that were delivering OBS solutions, noting their ability to bring to the market potentially disruptive technologies. Scalability, advanced data management, and storage efficiency were cited by IDC as important attributes of OBS solutions buyers should consider.
