Supervisory Board Appoints Dr. Per-Ove Hansson as New Chief Executive
Officer

Garching, February 17, 2015. The Supervisory Board of SUSS MicroTec AG
appointed Dr. Per-Ove Hansson as a new member of the management board of
SUSS MicroTec AG. He accepted the appointment as of today and will assume
the position as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on May 1, 2015.

Dr. Hansson brings along a broad experience in several strategic and
general management positions at global leading semiconductor capital
equipment companies. He currently holds the positions as General Manager
and President at ASM International, Phoenix, Arizona, USA and Almere,
Netherlands. Before joining ASM International, he held positions at Applied Materials Materials Inc., Santa Clara, California, USA as well as Wacker Siltronic
AG, Singapore and Germany.

Dr. Hansson, born in Sweden, conducted the research for his doctoral degree
in physics at the Max-Planck-Institute for Solid State Research in
Stuttgart, Germany. He has brought numerous new and existing product lines
to commercial success during his career. Dr. Hansson has successfully
conducted restructuring measures of large organizations, which resulted in
significant cost reductions and has strategically shaped merger and
acquisition activities.
