CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - March 3, 2015) - Shaw Communications Inc. (TSX:SJR.B) (NYSE:SJR) today announced it will be providing free access to its extensive Shaw Go WiFi network at all locations across Kelowna. Beginning today and continuing until March 22, 2015, all residents and visitors will be able to access Shaw Go WiFi at over 900 hotspots across the city for free.

As Canada's largest WiFi Network, Shaw Go WiFi provides users with carrier-grade Internet connectivity at hotspots in hundreds of locations across Kelowna. Shaw Go WiFi is Kelowna's largest WiFi network, and will allow users to access content on-the-go, while avoiding potentially expensive cellular data charges.

Shaw Go WiFi can be accessed at the Downtown Core, Kelowna City Park, Kelowna Yacht Club and Marina, Apple Bowl, Landmark Cinemas, H20 Adventure + Fitness Center, Capri Mall and many more convenient sites. Residents who are not Shaw customers can connect to the network for free on their laptop and mobile devices by selecting "ShawGuest" on the list of available WiFi hotspots at participating locations and following the steps to register their devices. Registration for the service only needs to be done once, after which users can simply login in with their email address and password.
