Torsten Jahn boosts management team

Herlitz Aktiengesellschaft announces that the Company's Supervisory Board
has appointed in today's meeting Torsten Jahn as further member of the
Management Board with immediate effect.

Mr Jahn's remit will be in particular the portfolios "Marketing and Sales"
in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and he will be working with fellow
board members Frauke Wandrey, Hooi Keat Loo and Claudio Esteban Seleguan to
drive the expedited, profit-oriented development and value enhancement of
the group as part of the planned transaction.

Besides his Management Board seat, Mr Jahn is already Managing Director of
Pelikan Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG. The company markets
successfully products under the brands Pelikan, herlitz, Susy Card and Geha
in Germany and Austria.
