Western Lithium Reports on Results of Annual General and Special Meeting

RENO, NEVADA--(Marketwired - March 31, 2015) - Western Lithium USA Corporation (the "Company") (TSX:WLC)(OTCQX:WLCDF) is pleased to announce that 49,001,250 common shares representing 41.07% of the total number of shares issued and outstanding were voted at its Annual General and Special Meeting (the "Meeting"). At the Meeting, the shareholders approved both special resolutions to alter the Company's articles, appointed the auditor for the Company for the coming year and approved an amendment to the Company's employees' and directors' stock option plan.

In addition, the following proposed nominees to the Board have been elected by the shareholders: John Macken, Co-Chairman of the Board; R. Edward Flood, Co-Chairman of the Board; Jay Chmelauskas, President and CEO of the Company; William Haldane; B. Matthew Hornor; and Terry Krepiakevich.

William M. Sheriff, an appointee to the Board, received a greater number of "withheld" votes than votes in favour of his election to the Board. In accordance with majority voting policy requirements mandated for Toronto Stock Exchange listed issuers and as disclosed in the Company's Information Circular, Mr. Sheriff has tendered his resignation to the Board, which resignation must be either accepted or rejected by the Board within 90 days following the date of the Meeting.
