As previously announced, Wacker Chemie AG's subsidiary Siltronic AG is
preparing for an Initial Public Offering and a subsequent listing on the
Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Regulated Market, Prime Standard). Today,
Siltronic AG decided to release an announcement of its intention to float
its shares, including newly issued shares from a capital increase, on the
Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The announcement indicates that the listing is
expected to take place prior to the summer break, subject to market
