Hamburg, 24 June 2015. TOM TAILOR GROUP is bundling its online activities
under the newly created position of Vice President Digitization. This is
intended to provide an optimum response to the rapid pace of change
entailed by digitization and make the most of the resulting opportunities
for growth. The Company is pursuing the goal of digitizing all interfaces,
service areas and information units, while at the same time driving forward
further integration of online sales, stationary retail business and
marketing.
Dr Maik Kleinschmidt (38) will take responsibility for this area when he
takes up the position of Vice President Digitization at the TOM TAILOR
GROUP on 1 July 2015. He will report directly to Chief Executive Officer
Dieter Holzer.
After completing his studies in Business Administration at the European
Business School in Oestrich-Winkel, Dr Maik Kleinschmidt started his career
at management consultancy The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Hamburg.
Over his twelve years as a consultant, he was responsible for a large
number of marketing and sales projects on behalf of leading international
fashion, retail and consumer-goods companies. During the years 2004 to
2006, he continued his academic career at the University of Hamburg by
taking a doctorate on the subject of "Venture Capital, Corporate Governance
and Enterprise Value". Since 2011, Dr Maik Kleinschmidt has been a

international companies in the consumer-goods sector. He also assisted BCG
