For the sixth year running, Atos is official partner of the "Global Conference" organised by Planet Workshops

Green Data at the heart of the 3rd digital revolution

Paris, 6th July 2015 - Atos, an international leader in digital services, will set out during the tenth Global Conference how Green Data must be at the heart of the third digital revolution^[1]. Atos is partnering with Planet Workshops for the sixth year running. This year's theme for the event is:  "All actors of rupture". The Atos Group will participate as speakers in this event demonstrating how their digital solutions contribute to the required evolutions to shape a more sustainable society.

During this event, Atos and Worldline will demonstrate how "Green Data" is at the core of the third digital revolution.  With 4.5 billion smartphones and 25 billion connected objects expected to be producing data by 2018, it will be essential that the data is hosted, managed and kept secure in a sustainable way.  To support this new digital world which brings opportunities across all aspects of our life including medical research, urban traffic and pollution management, m-services in the city and agricultural production, Atos has developed the "Green Data" concept, which uses energy efficient, secure and intelligent datacenters.

Speakers at the Global Conference
During the event, Atos and Worldline will explain how innovative technology is at the heart of the sustainable rupture:

• Monday July 6^th at 10:00 am -  Gilles Grapinet, Atos Senior Executive Vice President, Global Functions and Worldline Chief Executive Officer will share his vision about technological ruptures during the opening plenary session titled "All actors of rupture: which scale, which models?".
• Tuesday July 7^th at 9:30 am - Philippe Vannier, Head of Big Data & Security, Group Chief Technology Officer of Atos will participate in a round table on "The identification of risks for the "prescribers" of our economy".
• Wednesday July 8^th, at 11:15 am - Marc-Henri Desportes, Worldline General Manager, will take part in a face to face session about "How to replicate sustainable mobility?"

The tenth Global Conference, an international forum for sustainable development gathering decision-makers and opinion leaders committed for sustainable growth, is held on 6^th, 7^th and 8th July 2015 at "Domaine de Chantilly" near Paris. To find out more about the Global Conference
